What does the Bible really say about singleness? In Week 1 of our Relationships teaching series, we discover how Scripture honors singleness, why it can be a season of freedom, and how your true worth is not found in relationship status but in your identity in Christ.
Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 7 that singleness is a gift and can be lived wholeheartedly for God. Singleness may be for a season or a calling, but either way, it provides space to grow in intimacy with Christ and live with fewer distractions.
We also explore Dr. John Van Epp’s Relational Attachment Model (Know → Trust → Rely → Commit → Touch) and how it helps us build healthy connections. Whether single, dating, or married, God’s desire is that our relationships reflect His love, humility, and purpose (Philippians 2:1–5).
