Speaker 1 (00:02):
I need the ye. If we are Lord, I need thee. Oh,
bless bless us. Now I see he heave you Lord

(00:27):
as we come home to who to the God. Bless
each of you that are joining us today on Hallelujah
our service on today. I'm Pastor Ronnie Hooks of the

(00:48):
Word of Life John One fourteen Church located in Troy, Alabama. Hallelujah,
Glory to God. We honor each of you today as
we give honor to God, because the Bible says this,
how can you say that you love God and you
hate your brothers. So we show honor to each of
you that are joining us far and near all over

(01:09):
the country. And we want to give a special shout
out to those that are survivors of the tragedies that
have been recently hitting our nation all across in Saint Louis,
the tornadoes that hit there, and in Kentucky, I believe
it is that hit there and in Illinois, if I'm

(01:31):
not mistaken, those three states where some severe destruction have
taken place. So our prayers are with you, and we
pray that the Lords shine up on you and that
we come to all learn to come together in the
spirit in the spirit of truth, in hospitality and love

(01:55):
one to the other. Hallow you. Let's get ready to
have a word of prayer. As we get ready to
go into our word for today, Father, we thank you,
We bless you, Lord, that we are yet alive, those
of us that have survived the tragedies. We know that
the earth grown and travail is waiting for the revealing

(02:18):
of the sons of God. We believe that you are
soon to come, and we believe that Lord, that you
have anointed this our Hallelujah, you have annoyed this hour
to hear our prayers. Lord and aloud, that your will
be done in our lives. We ask Father, in the
name of Jesus, let your anointing break that breaks. Then

(02:41):
destroy yokes. Lord, move upon us. Lord, move through me,
and use me as you would have me to be used.
Not my will, but time will be done. Break yokes
into peaces. Lord. In our lives, those things that bind
us to sin, those things that bind us to self
preservation and not to the will of God. And having

(03:02):
loved one to the other, we come against principalities, powers,
spiritual wickedness, and high places. We come against dominions and
powers glory to God in the name of Jesus. And
we declare that no weapon that is formed against us
shall prosper, and that every tone that rises against us
in judgment, we condemn it even right now in the
name of Jesus, and we decline, we decree good success.

(03:26):
How that go Shahdadaka in all that we put our
hands to. Healing, deliverance come forth right now in the
body and in the mind and in the soul. Glory
to God, hallelujah. Relationships are mended right now in the
name of Jesus. Glory to God, hallelujah. Love is cultivated
in the family, hallelujah. Sons and daughters are brought back

(03:47):
into the fold my God from glory because you are
married to the backslider. Glory to God, hallelujah. Our lives
are lined up with the will of God. Hallelujah. So
we study to show ourselves to prove unto you, Father,
workmen that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word
of truth. And we be it so careful to give
you all the glory, the honor, and the praise in

(04:09):
thy Son Jesus' name. And if you agree with this prayer.
Say amen where you are on today, hallelujah. We were
praying a song earlier. It's called I Thank You for

(04:31):
it All by Marvin South. I thank you for it all, hallelujah,
the good, the bad, the ugly, the great and the small,
the good, the bad, the ugly, the great and the smaller,
and the scripture that back set up and says in
all things, give thanks for this is the will of

(04:53):
God concerning youll. So we thank God for everything that
we go through because we could be head looking hally lujah,
looking and looking up in Hell as the rich man
was that Uh, that Lazarus Uh was in relationship with

(05:14):
the Lazarus Uh who was the beggar when he died,
lifted up his eyes and he was in the bosom
of Abraham, and the rich man he lift up his
eyes in Hell. Glory to God. So we want to
take advantage of the time that we have right now,

(05:34):
while the blood is still running warm in our veins.
We want to take advantage of this time. Hallelujah, Glory
to God. So we want to talk to you today
about because we are seemed to be well, it's not seen.
We are uncomfortable with the bitter and the sweet. Uh.

(05:58):
If it comes in the form of a candy all
like the like the uh uh uh like the uh
what is it called it? The buttercup? I mean the
uh rece's buttercup, peanut buttercup. And we like that the
bidder and the sweet and the other candy ball that
had the bidden the sweet. But when it comes to life, uh,

(06:21):
we'd rather have the sweet and not the bidder, not
the bad times, hallelujah. But I want to speak to
you about that today, how God has ordained that to
be a part of our lives. We're gonna be in
the book uh second Chronicles. Today, the book of Second Chronicles,

(06:47):
We're gonna talk about a very popular guy uh in
Chronicles that experienced uh uh good and bad in the
seventh chapter of Chronicles, second chapter, Second Chronicles, seventh chapter,

(07:07):
Second Chronicles, seventh chapter. Okay, the bitter and the sweet,
The bitter and the sweet. Starting at verse one, y'all
read along with me. Now, when Solomon had made an

(07:28):
end of praying, the fire came down from heaven and
consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory
of the Lord filled the house, and the priests could
not enter into the house of the Lord, because the
glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house. The

(07:52):
Lord's house. Listen, the glory of the Lord had filled
the Lord's house. Listen to it very carefully. And when
all the children of Israel saw how the fire came
down and the glory of the Lord upon the house,
they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground and

(08:14):
upon the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying,
for he is good, for his mercy, endureth forever. Hallelujah,
Glory to God. Then the King of the people offered
sacrifices before the Lord. Hallelujah. Now we're getting off into

(08:37):
the dedication of this house or this temple, Hallelujah. And
then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before
the Lord. And King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty
and two thousand oxen and one hundred and twenty thousand.

(09:01):
So the king and all the people dedicated the house
to God. So the King and all the people dedicated
the house or the temple to God, my God from glory.

(09:22):
And the priests waited on their offices. The levites also
with trumpets and music of the Lord, which the king
had made to praise the Lord, because his mercy endure forever.

(09:42):
When David praised by their ministry, When David praised by
their ministry, and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and
all Israel stood for Solomon hollowed the middle of the

(10:03):
court that was before the house of the Lord, and
there he offered burnt offerings and the fat of the
pieces offering, because the brazen altar which Solomon had made
was not able to receive the burnt offerings and the

(10:24):
meat offerings, and the fact verse eight. Also at the
same time, Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all
Israel with him, and every great congregation, a great, a
very great congregation from the entering in of Hamath onto

(10:49):
the river of Egypt. And in the eighth day they
made a solemn assembly, for they kept Hallelujah, the dedication
of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
And on the third and twentieth day of the seventh month,

(11:12):
he sent the people away into their tents glad and
marry in heart for the goodness that the Lord had
showed unto David and to Solomon and to Israel his people. Hallelujah,
Verse eleven. Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord

(11:36):
and the King's house, and all that came into Solomon's
heart to make in the house of the Lord and
in his own house, he prosperously effected, prosperously effected. And

(11:58):
the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said, unto him,
I have heard thy prayer and have chosen this place
to make to myself for an house of sacrifice. I

(12:18):
have chose to myself for an house of sacrifice. I've
chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice.
We see here that Solomon David was not allowed to
build the Temple of God because he had blood on

(12:42):
his hands. We pick up here Solomon was allowed to
build a temple, and Solomon had an idea, but God
had to give him how to do it correctly. Hallelujah.
And we see at the very beginning of this chapter
that when the glory of the Lord feel the house,

(13:03):
the priests and that nobody was able to go in
because the glory of the Lord fell the house. Glory
to God, Hallelujah. And we see that there had to
be sacrifices made to dedicate the house to God. Sacrifices

(13:25):
had to be made to dedicate the house to God. Hallelujah.
Now this is all in the plan of God, and
we see on verse twelve now that God has chosen
a house to dedicate to himself. Hallelujah. Let me read

(13:52):
your small definition about this quote. In here it says
the house of sacrifice. It says that in the commentary
that this expression does not elsewhere appear in the Bible.
This expression does not appear anywhere else it's meaning. However,
it's clear God declares that Solomon's temple is the place

(14:18):
where to all Israelites were commanded to bring their bird
offering and sacrifices. The temple that Solomon built in the
Old Testament was the only place that they could bring
their sacrifices, because the sacrifices had to be made once

(14:42):
a year for the sins of his people, and the
only place that they could do that was in the
temple the Solomon erected, or the Solomon builds the house
that Solomon built Holly in New York. And due to
Romany twelfth chapter it says it like this, but unto

(15:05):
this place which the Lord your God shall choose out
of all your tribes. It was twelve tribes to put
his name there, even unto his habitation. Shall ye seek
and thither means to go, means to go towards or
come to. Thou shalt come thither. This house is where

(15:31):
you should come to or go to. And thither verse six,
ye shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices and
your tithes. Listen, y'all, your tithes is the tenth of
all of your increase and heave offerings, and your hand,

(15:53):
of your hand, and your bowers, and your free will offerings,
and your first of your herds and of your flocks.
So everything that God blessed them with. They were to
give the first of it to God, and were the
only place that they could take it to was the
temple that God had given Solomon to build. Hallelujah, I

(16:23):
want you to go with me. The Second Corinthians Second Corinthians.
When Jesus came, we know him to be the perfect
sacrifice for the remissions of our sins. He died once

(16:46):
for all for the remissions of our sins. He died
once for all of us and those who receive him. Hallelujah.
He's given power to become sons of God. God. We're
no more gentiles, but we are adopted into the family

(17:10):
of God. We are heirs of God and joint as
with Christ. Why because of the blood of Jesus Christ.
When we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ,
and believe in our hearts that God has raised us
from the dead, the Bible says we shall be saved.
I want y'all pay close attention now and remember it

(17:31):
said that the glory of the Lord filled the house.
So God has called us to be living epistols, read
of men, living books, living houses. Okay, if you please,

(17:54):
where the Holy Ghost dwells in us, this glory of
the Lord fills us. Jesus has already done the work.
He's the perfect sacrifice. He has made our relationship with

(18:17):
God to be at peace. Now we have peace with
God through the blood of Jesus Christ. When we accept
Me as our Lord and savior with our mouth. I
hope I'm making this clear. For with the mouth you
confess unto God and you believe in your heart that

(18:39):
God has raised him from the dead. God shall be saved. Hallelujah.
So we've done this. Those of you are out there
who have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior,
you made yourself available to be the house of the
Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. I believe the Lord has given me

(19:01):
to give you all this in this season, in this time.
I believe this to be a critical time in history.
I believe this to be a time of not just restoration,
but getting our houses in order, because I believe He's
soon to come. It's time to get it straight. We

(19:27):
can't keep doing what we used to do and say
we are children of God and we belong to him.
We can't keep hating our brothers. We can't keep hating
one another and treating each other any kind of way
and say that you belong to God. He says that

(19:49):
if you love me, keep my commandments, He said, you can.
You can't say that you love me and you hate
your brother. Paul says, we are to lay aside the
weights and the sins that do it so easily beset us,
that will so easily move you out of the way

(20:11):
of being saved. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I want you to go
to me the Second Corinthians, the sixth chapter. Now I'm
gonna be reading this out of the God's Word translation.
You'll be reading with the King James probably or other translation.

(20:34):
But I want this to be plain to us now
that we're saved through Jesus Christ, through confessing with our
mouths and believing in our heart that he is the
son of God, and that God raised him from the dead, hallelujah,
and that the same spirit that raised him from the

(20:55):
dead is able to raise us up from dead. I
want you to see, hallelujah. How we are to dedicate
our temples to God. Solomon had to dedicate the physical
temple to God. Likewise, we have to dedicate our bodies

(21:17):
to God. Paul said it like this in Roman Swell.
He said, present your body to God as a living sacrifice,
holy acceptable unto God, which is what your reasonable service.
It's your reasonable service because God is bringing you out

(21:38):
of darkness. God is bringing you from walking in the
line or in the darkness, into walking in the truth,
preparing you to go home to be with Him. Hallelujah. Now,
since you're saved by grace through faith, that's a gift.
There's nothing to boast about you didn't do anything to

(21:59):
earn it. It's by the favor of God that we
are saved, and all we have to do is receive
it by asking Him to come into our hearts and
be our Lord and savior. The Bible says, he said,
we're bought with the price, and that price with the
blood of Jesus. Hallelujah. Verse one, verse six of Second Corinthians.

(22:27):
It says this again, I'm reading out of the God's
word translation. Since we are God's co workers, we urge
you not to let God's kindness or his grace be
wasted on you. Wait a minute, the writer is telling us.

(22:49):
Now that you're saved, don't let your being delivered from
the death of being separated from God through eternity go
to waste. Use it. Listen. Verse two. God says that
all God says that the right time I heard you

(23:11):
in your bible, I said, at the appointed time he
heard your prayers, at the right time I heard you
on the day of salvation. I helped you the day
that you received Jesus Christ into your heart. That is
God's help to you. Because he didn't have to do it,

(23:33):
but he did. Listen here while we were yet sinners.
Christ died for the ungodly. We didn't do anything to
deserve this. We were still disobedient, arrogant, truth breakers, liars, deceitful,

(23:55):
and all the above. On the day of salvation, I
will help you. But he says, listen, now is God's
acceptable time. Now is the day of salvation, the day
that you hear my voice heart, not your heart, Lord

(24:16):
to God. Firse three. We don't give people any opportunity
to find fault with how we serve. That's what Paul
was telling them him. Don't give people a reason to
find fault with you. Yes, you're gonna make mistakes. Why

(24:37):
because you're learning and you're still in this flesh. Paul
said in Chapter seven of Romans that the thing that
I didn't want to do is what I ended up doing.
And the thing that I wanted to do I didn't do.
And he found in him another law. Hallelujah. So the

(24:58):
spirit of life that is in Christ will deliver you
from that law of sin and death, that evil desire
to do what you do. That desire is bound up
in the flesh. It's sealed in the flesh. He said.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who in
Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, but after

(25:19):
the spirit. For the spirit of life that is in
Christ has made us free from the law, sin and death.
Now sin is condemned in the flesh. That's why this
old sinful body cannot go to heaven. Jesus has prepared
for us some brand new body. This one will go

(25:40):
back to the dust. That's why we have so many problems,
because sin is in the flesh. That evil desire to do.
The thing that you don't need to do anymore is
in the flesh. That's why we have to put on
the mind of Christ. Study, study, That's why we come

(26:02):
to these classes. That's why we're here to preach the
word of God. That's why we come to Sunday School
so we can learn what it is that God wouldn't
have us to do and how to live. Now, look here,
so men won't find fault in you. Look what you
have to do Verse four. Instead, our lives demonstrate that

(26:29):
we are God's servants, or our sacrifice should demonstrate that
you are God's servant. You don't belong to yourself anymore.
We're a lad of the spirit of God. Now the
spirit of truth. At one time we were not able
to receive why because our desires were sinful, and we

(26:53):
cater to the mind of the flesh, the ways of
the carnal mind. We cater to it. We cater to
our own reasoning. We let anything come out of our
mouth without checking it. We demonstrate that we are God's servants.

(27:16):
We have endured many things, suffering distress, beatings, imprisonment, riots,
hard work, sleepless nights, and lack of food. These are
the sacrifices that God looks for now. The sacrifice of

(27:37):
your always on the altar, the brazen altar glway to God. Hallelujah.
It was not able to handle all the sacrifice that
Solomon brought to put on, so Solomon used the court yard. Hallelujah.
Many are our afflictions, but God delivers what out of them,

(27:58):
all glory to God. God had to enlarge the altar
so he can put all of our junk on there. Hallelujah.
So what you bring to God now is you don't
have to bring a lamb to him. You don't have
to bring a pigeon to him. Now, you don't have
to bring a ram to him. But you can bring

(28:20):
all of your faults hallelujah, and lamb on the altar.
The pain that you go through doing right because guess what,
you were not accustomed to doing the right thing. You
thought it was, But your righteousness was that filthy rags.
Why because you got the glory out of it. I

(28:40):
did this and I did that. In this case, the
glory belongs to God. Hallelujah. Without God, we can do nothing,
but with Him we can do all things. So when
we live a life led of the spirit of God,
remember the glory that came into the house. When we

(29:03):
live a life that has led up the spirit of God, hallelujah,
it's sacrificial. You experience sufferings. You experience distress. You're gonna
experience anxiety. You're gonna experience beatings, whether it be verbal
or physical. You gonna experience imprisonments, whether it be in

(29:26):
the mind or in the body. Glory to God, hallelujah.
You're gonna experience riots, hallelujah. You're gonna experience hard work.
You're gonna experience what sleepless nights. You're gonna experience lack
of food, clothing, and some necessities. Hallelujah. But wait on

(29:50):
the Lord and be of a good courage. Hallelujah. Verse six.
People can see but why so people can see your purity.
You don't render evil for evil. That's the old Man.
You do good to those who spitefully use you, and
you pray for him. You don't speak evil of anyone.

(30:14):
You speak evil of no man, good, bad or ugly,
and different, saint or not a saint, cook, a not
a crook. You speak evil of no man. Keep your
tongue out of anyone, My God. People can see your purity.
People can see the knowledge that you have now. The

(30:37):
knowledge that you get through the studying of the Word
gives you different choices. I don't have to operate like
I used to. I have a different I can make
another choice. Hallelujah. I can choose to put down my
pride and walk away. Hallelujah. Glory to God. They can

(30:59):
see your patience, they can see your kindness. The Holy
Spirit presence is in our lives. Hallelujah. A sincere love
is manifested, not one that is. If you do good

(31:20):
to me, I'll do good to you, or I'm gonna
do good to you because you're gonna pay me back, hallelujah,
a sincere love. Why because I want to be used
by God and I want to see you saved. I'd
rather have a I'd rather have a friend any day
than an enemy. Hallelujah. With a friend, if I get stuck,

(31:46):
at least I got somebody I can ask for help.
With an enemy, he probably gonna leave me. There, My
God from glory, hallelujah. And get to experience the truthfulness
that you operate in. Now, not I can't trust him
because I know what he used to be and he's

(32:10):
probably lying. Hallelujah. Now you're known for being truthful and
the presence of God's power is in you. Why, because
the Spirit gives you gifts and callings. You're able to
do and be used by God to do good works

(32:32):
that God has ordained you. With we demonstrate that we
are God's servants. This is our sacrifice. We give up suffering,
we endure suffering, and we show forth the glory of
God in our lives. Hallelujah. Back then, in that in crime,

(33:00):
when the glory of the Lord filled the house, the
priests could not go in. Hallelujah. When the glory of
the Lord feels you hallelujah. People get to see the
goodness of the Lord flowing out of you. They don't
have they don't have to experience that bad behavior that

(33:25):
you used to show forth. And what does it costing you?
Some suffering, lack of food, some anxiety, some stress, But
all of these things are temporal in comparison to what
you used to live like that. That lifestyle was leading

(33:49):
you to a devil's hell, and it was always keeping
you in turmoil. I remember this, and I went out
to do do my thing back then when I lived
in sin. When I got what I wanted, my pain
was relieved for a moment. I had happiness for a moment.

(34:13):
But as soon as I sobered up and the next
day came, those problems were still there. They were still there.
Look at me in my face. As matter of fact,
the trauma that it caused me in the anxiety and
stress increased because I had missed opportunities to take the

(34:37):
weight off of myself. Hallelujah, look at her Verse eight.
As we are praised, we're also dishonored. As we are slandered,
we're also honored. As we use what is right to

(35:02):
attack what is wrong, to defend the truth. We are
treated as dishonest, although we are honest, and that's the
way of a saint. Hallelujah. As unknown, although we are
well known as dying, although as we see we are living.

(35:29):
We are punished, but we are not killed. People think
we are sad, although we always glad. We are always glad, hallelujah.
Not necessarily because you did something excellent or right, but
because you got to be an example of God. The

(35:54):
joy of the Lord is your strength. Jesus said, like this,
for the joy that will sit before him here and
do it cross. Why because he's seen you, he's seen
me being delivered. Have this opportunity to be saved, to
be delivered, so we also can be an example. Hallelujah.

(36:14):
We also can be an example of Christ. Hallelujah. People
think that we are sad, although we're also glad, that
we are beggars, although we make many people spiritually rich.
We sacrifice so somebody else can become knowledgeable in the

(36:37):
knowledge of God and know Him in the partner of
our sins. We endure conflict, we endure hardship so somebody
else can know the truth. Don't think that your living
is in vain don't let it be in vain if
you're going to go. I used to think of it
like this. I think of it like this. Live life anyway, right,

(37:03):
So I might as well live it on the right
side and let it be a blessing not only to be,
but somebody else. I'm gonna experience suffering, right, I might
as well suffer for something, right, I'm gonna experience loss
at some point in time, but let that loss come

(37:25):
count for something. The earth belongs to God in the
fullness that of the world. And you know what, every
loss that I have experienced, whether I was cheated or
whether I was made the bad decision and lost, God
has always countered that loss with something more valuable. I

(37:51):
am still here. He's sustained me. He's caused me to
have clothes on my back, food on my table, able
to able to manage life. Through the Holy ghosts. I
don't have to depend on my own thoughts anymore. I don't

(38:14):
have to depend on my own understanding. I've learned and
am learning how to acknowledge Him in all of my ways.
So what he can direct my path? Hallelujah? That we
have nothing all though we possess everything. Why because we

(38:40):
have the Father in us. When you have the Son
in you, you have the Father in him. You have
everything you need when you I guarantee you, when you
need it, you'll get it. And you'll get what you
need when you need it. Hallelujah. It's time for us

(39:02):
to lay aside the weights and the sins, the things
that drag us and keep us kicking rocks with our
head down stumbling. It's simple to confess you with your mouth,
the Lord Jesus Christ. It's really simple. But the devil
would have you believing that it's hard. It's not hard.

(39:26):
God does the work. Jesus is the Word of God
that was made flesh. He lived it, He died for
us so we can live. Now we are with the
help of the Holy Spirit. We live. We open our
mouths and ask God for help daily. Hallelujah. So Corinthians

(39:48):
six sixteen says this, and what agreement has the Temple
of God with idols, For we are the temple of
the Living God. We are the temple. We are the
House of God. Individually and collectively, we are the House
of God. Now he doesn't need a building anymore. He

(40:11):
lives in us, in his son, Jesus Christ. It has
been always been God's desire to be in the midst
of his people. Hallelujah. As God has said, I will
dwell in them and walk in them, and I will
be their God, and they shall be my people. In

(40:35):
verse sixteen, chapter six of Tewod Corinthians, it has always
been God's desire to be in you and to do
the world. He wants to do the work. He wants
to do the work. Why because we have problems. All

(40:56):
we got to do is yield to him and learn
how to be a doo of the word and not
just to hear. And I'm gonna shot this some one
thing with you, guys. Be careful of the words that
come out of your mouth. Be careful of the words

(41:17):
that come out of your mouth. Scripture said that we
are snagged by the very words that come out of
our mouth. Why because we have the ability to create
with our tongue, just like God did. We live in
a physical world, right, But what dominates the physical world

(41:39):
is the spiritual realm, and it reacts to the word,
to the written word, and it's a law given by God.
In Genesis chapter eight, he said, after Noah had had
come to the altar and raised up and did a

(42:00):
sacrifice to God. God said it was a sweet smelling offer.
Sweet smelling, But God vowed, I mean think it's in
the twenty second verse of Chapter eight and Genesis. He vowed.
He said, never again would I destroy the earth for
man's sakes, because he said, the imaginations of a man's

(42:23):
heart is evil, even from his youth. He know our
hearts are evil, our intents. That's why he give us
the word. The word is a desern of the very
intent of the heart. Let the word be your final authority.
And received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, so he

(42:43):
can guide you and lead you in how to utilize it.
And he said this, he said, and long did the
earth remain. That will be seed time and harvest time,
meaning this whatever so man, whatsoever a man sow, that
shall reap. Your words are siegs that you put into

(43:07):
the atmosphere. You have the ability, when you study the
word of God, to speak into your own heart, to
speak into your own mind, a new life. And know
what I'm talking about. It's like reprogramming a computer. If
you put different information in, you get different results. When

(43:29):
you choose to operate in that information. You still got
a choice. You can do what you used to do,
or you can do this new thing. You already know
the old thing what it's going to lead you to,
because it never fails. It always leads you to something
that you don't like. But one day, with prayer, you say, God,

(43:53):
give me the strength to try this new thing, and
watch God work. Hallelujah. Watched God work. In Second Chronicles seven,

(44:16):
chapter seven, during COVID, a particular scripture came out. When
everything was shut down. It seemed like to many that
the end of the world was happening. Then people were dying.

(44:36):
There were some even saying that certain things are happening,
don't take the market the beast. That kind of a
talk was going on. But this scripture came up, and
it was all over the internet. It was all people

(44:56):
were speaking about it all the time. I'ma start at thirteen.
He said, if I shut up to heaven, that there
be no rain, or if I command the locusts to
devour the land, or if I send pestilis up on
my people. If my people now listen what he's saying,

(45:20):
if I shut up to heaven, that there be no rain,
And I command the locus to eat up everything and
send pestilists. Hallelujah amongst my people. He says this, If
my people, which are called by my name, shall humble

(45:41):
themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn not
three sixty and turn from that wicked ways, then what
I hear from heaven and I will forgive, they're saying,
and heal the lamb. Humble yourself, pray, seek his face.

(46:08):
Some of you all think you can do this thing
without studying the word of God. Some of you all
think that you can just live by the preaching. You
need some Sunday school. You need to get an understanding
of what God has saying. Some of you all think
that you can live without the Holy Spirit, the spirit
of truth. That's the blind leading the blind. You need

(46:31):
the Holy Spirit. It all works together. Hallelujah. He said,
Now mine eyes, this is after you. This is after you.
Humble yourself and pray and seek His face and turn
from your wicked ways. He will heal the lamb. He's
talking about your body. He will heal you so you

(46:53):
can receive the Holy Ghost, so you can receive his glory.
He said, Now mine eyes shall be open and my
ears attend unto your prayers, are the prayers that are
made in at this place, in this house. Hmm, in

(47:14):
this place for now have I chosen that that word
is again and sanctified this house, That my name be
there forever, and my eyes and my heart shall be
there perpetually. That's God's desire to be with you forever.

(47:44):
All we have to do, all we have to do
is repent and let God do the work and do
the things that are necessary when you repent. That means,
like you said, turn from your wicked ways. Get yourself

(48:06):
into a church that preaches the word of God. I'm
not talking about dictators that tell you how to live,
because you should be led of the Holy Spirit. I'm
talking about I'm not talking about people the Lord over you.
I'm talking about being led of the spirit. Get up

(48:26):
under men of God or women of God that are
that are ordained preachers, pastors. Get into your church. You're
invited to be with us if you want to. We
in a day and time as it's necessary for you
for me to get our houses in order, It's time

(48:51):
out for hoping. You need to make your calling and election. Sure,
you need to learn to do I do, like Peter,
step out on Jesus' word, come and believe what he said. Yes,
I know, fear is gonna grip you because you think
people are gonna be looking at you and all that stuff.

(49:13):
Don't worry about what people think. I did too. I
used to think that once I get up and confess
before these people, they were gonna do this and that
I don't know what that I thought they was gonna do.
But once I got up there and confessed that I
messed up and I was a sinner and I needed
Christ in my life, I felt a lot better. I

(49:36):
felt a lot better, and I stopped trying to be
annoy it. All the people that know me know me nowadays.
If you hear anything come out of my mouth, it's
usually most of the time, not that it is the
word of God, it's nothing else. I don't have anything
to teach you. I give you what God gives me.

(49:58):
You are the house of God. Now if you choose
to be but your the glory of the Lord has
to come in you, has to come in you, and
it'll drive out everything else that that's not like God
out of you. And and like you said in the
Uh at the beginning of the chapter, he said, the
fire of the Lord came and consumed that sacrifice, all

(50:21):
of that, all of that anxiety, and that uh uh,
the hard work in the sleepless night. It'll consume it.
It'll make it well worth it that you went through it.
Why because you and our have it, you have the
opportunity to spend eternity with God. These temporary hardships, afflictions

(50:48):
are not worthy to be compared to the glory that
shall be revealing us. Do not let your pride, do
not let your own understanding scrutinize the will of the
Word of God and calls you to fallow back from

(51:08):
receiving an open invitation to say, God help me. I
need your help. I need you to come into my
heart and be my lord, my master. I need somebody.
I need you to master over this life that you've
given me. I need you to be in control of

(51:29):
it because I'm messing it up. Lord to God, I
put no confidence in my flesh. That's me. That's my
testimony to you all. I put no confidence in me.
Pastor Hooks, there's nothing good in my flesh. Paul found
it out for himself, and I adopt the philosophy of Paul.

(51:52):
There's nothing good in me. I've deceived myself for over
forty years. And when God found me and came into
my heart with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, it
put me on the straight and the narrow. I no
longer want to be like a worm wiggling through life,

(52:15):
going here and going there, drifting here and there. I
want to be in a straight and narrow Hallelujah. Let's pray,
Father is in the name of Jesus. We come to you.
Those that are listening in the bit and the suite.

(52:37):
They go together, and it yields a peaceful fruit of righteousness.
We know, Lord, that now know that all these things
work together for the good of those who love you
and are the called according to your purpose. We are
bought with a price, And Lord, we want to be

(52:59):
living pistols read of man. We want to be the
house of the Holy Ghost. We want to be the
temple of God. Use us, Hallelujah. Drive with that with
thy sanctifying fire, thy word, Lord, burn up everything that's
not like you, that's in us. I own understanding, our

(53:19):
old thoughts and our own imaginations. That's evil in our hearts.
Come into our hearts and be our lord and savior
and thy son Jesus' name, we do pray. Amen and Amen.
Now to those of you who want to be saved,

(53:40):
who are not, who don't know if you're saved, or
who have any kind of doubt, any kind, I'm gonna
ask you to pray with me and believe. It's just
that simple. It's just that simple. You gotta open your
mouth and mean it, meant it from your heart, and

(54:04):
God will help you do it. Repeat after me, Father God.
I believe that Jesus is your son. I believe that
he died for me. I believe that the spirit that

(54:26):
raised him up from the dead will also raise me
up from dead works. And I asked you to come
into my heart and be my lord and savior. Hallelujah.
I asked Lord that you fill me with your spirit,

(54:48):
with your glory, that I may be a witness. For
you have not given me the spirit of fear, but
you give me a spirit of power, love and a
sound mind. I thank you, and I give you praise
in Jesus' name. Amen. Now, those of you who've prayed

(55:10):
that prayer with me, it's just that simple. Romans ten
ninety ten says, if you confess with your mouth the
Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, doubts shall be saved. Say
it and believe it. Now all that is needed is
to put your sacrifices on there, dedicate yourself to God,

(55:36):
dedicate your bodies. Yes, it's gonna be some good, bad
and ugly, but you're going through that anyway. Let it
count for something. Give it to God and let him
transform that good, bad and ugly. Let it consume that.

(56:01):
And as the scripture said, allow people see the trust,
the honor in you, the purity in you, the goodness,
the kindness that is of God and not of yourself. Hallujah.
Now the way you can do that, you can those
of you who would like to, you can join us
