Speaker 1 (00:02):
God bless each of you that are joining us on today. Hi,
I'm Pastor Ronnie Hooks of the Word of Life John
one fourteen Church located in Troy, Alabama. Hallelujah. Today we're
broadcasting from Maryland in Ellicott City, Maryland. So we just
(00:26):
want to thank God for you, those of you who
are joining us today. We want to thank God for
his grace and his mercy, his loving kindness and towards us. Hallelujah.
Let's have a word of prayer before we get started here. Father,
it is in the name of Jesus that I thank
you and give you praise, honor, and glory. I asked
(00:50):
that your blessing be upon us to help us in
everything that we put our hands to do. Word says
that we are the head and not the tail. When
we hearken into your word to perform it. We're blessed
in everything that our hand touches. But Lord, we can
(01:11):
do nothing without you. So Lord, we ask that Holy
Spirit that is in us that makes us abode and
us speak through me Lord on today, not by power
nor but by your spirit. Lord, use me as a vessel,
(01:33):
a ministering vessel to your people that the Word of
Truth will come forth, a word that you have chosen
for today for the people of God, that they might
receive it and not suppress it, that they will be
delivered and set free and saved. For the Word says
you shall know the truth, and the truth will make
you free. So Lord, we cast all of our cares
(01:56):
and our burdens upon you, for you care for us.
It is you who will establish us and not suffer
the righteous to be removed. So Lord, asked that you
forgive us for our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
This prayer we're asking this. We believe we will receiving
Jesus' name. Amen and Amen Halloween. In times like the
(02:22):
we need us savior.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
In time black, we need anchor.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Be very sure, Be very sure that your anchor holds
angry to the sun.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Solid row. This rock is Jesus.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
He is only one. This rocket is Jesus. He hallelujah,
the very one. Be very sure, be very sure that
your rinka grips the sal.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Sal Lander, Hallelujah, hallelujah, Glory to God, hallelujah. And we
welcome you again on today. All over the country farm
there those that are listening in on Hope Gospel Radio station,
those that are listening in on iHeart Radio, those that
(03:46):
are watching on YouTube, and those that are watching on Facebook.
To God be the glory, the honor, and the praise, Hallelujah.
Today my heart has been trouble for the people of God,
(04:08):
not so much about what's going on in the world,
because the Scripture lets us know what is going on
in the world must come to pass. These things must happen.
Matthew told us about it in chapter twenty four. You're
probably gonna hear a lot about the end times, and
especially in this season, from pastors across the country and
(04:31):
across the world, because I believe that's what we are
and we need to know how to handle ourselves in
times like this. The Bible says that before he returns,
there will be a great falling away, then the son
the lawless one, the son of tradition, will be revealed
after that, and from what I see in the world,
(04:57):
a lot of that is going on. But I'm more
concerned about the people of God because in that same
chapter it tells us that prophets will come and deceive many,
and many will be deceivers of themselves. And he said,
in wars and rumors of wars, the nations against nation,
kingdom against kingdom. And he said, this is the beginning
(05:17):
of sorrows. But in verse nine of twenty four it says,
and they will hate one another, and they will turn
you over, and they will they will I hate you
and despise you, above nations and whatnot. So I believe
(05:42):
that's where we are. That's my belief. And the word
that God has given us for today corresponds with what
we need to be doing. The Bible tells us to
go into the world and make disciples of man. Now
with all the turbulence and all the turmoil that's going
(06:04):
on in the world, the hatred that's going on in there,
brother against brothers, mother against daughter, daughter and daughter against mother,
and son against father and son, and so system. I
mean daughter in law against mother in law and father
in law, so on and so on. Nation against nation,
(06:25):
And there are many nations that are having civil wars,
and the possibility of it is springing up here with
what's going on and things of that nature. But for us,
as ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that are
going forth, he said, make disciples of men. He said,
(06:46):
he told us that these things must happen, but he
told us not to be shaken. And in spirit and
in letter or in word, that's what he tells in
Second Thessalonians, second chapter. I believe the second verse he
tells us not to be shaken. These things must, excuse me,
must happen. So he tells us not to take on
(07:10):
the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a
sound mind. Amen. So if we're walking in the light,
not giving the way we normally would attention to all
these things that are going on, but rather you are
really giving an attention. You just walk on contrary to it.
(07:33):
It's not that you not don't see it or paying
attention to it. It's just that you're following the will
of God. You're being obedient to the will of God
while you are up under conflict and oppression and dealing
with these things. So our topic is going to come
out of a very familiar passage of scripture and psalms,
(07:56):
very familiar passage of scripture and psalms, and finding myself
playing songs. I play it on my phone repeatedly, and
I'm hearing a lot of things that the Psalmists. Different
songists have written about what went on with ancient Israel,
and some of it tells about what we're going through
even right now, this turn the Psalms ninety one. We're
(08:21):
basically gonna be in there. But there are some other
scriptures that we will give reference to. Uh to the
point that we're trying to we want to make on today,
happen to the point that we want to make on today,
something that will help you get through, something that will
help you use the power of God to help you
(08:44):
in your walk so you won't be pressed out of measure.
Psalms ninety one. Listen to this, y'all know this. Starting
in verse one, he that dwelleth in the secret place
of the Most High, shall them bide under the shadow
of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, he
(09:05):
is my refuge and my fortress, my God. In him,
will I trust? Surely he shall deliver thee from the
snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He
shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings
shalt thout trust, shall thout trust. His truth shall be
(09:30):
thy shield, his buckler. His buckler shall be His truth
shall be thy shielding buckler. Excuse me, thou shalt not
be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the
arrow that flies by day, nor for the pestilence that
(09:53):
walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasted that noonday.
A thousands shall fall at thy sighed in ten thousand
at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee. Hallylud,
listen to the word. Only with thine eyes, shalt thou
behold and see the reward of the wicked. Why because
(10:13):
you will be looking at them while you are moving
forward doing what God has called you to do. Hallelujah,
under the shadow of them Almighty, Because thou hast made
the Lord which is my refuge, even the most tied
thy habitation, Hollywood, there shall no evil befall thee. Neither
shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Hallelujah. This is
(10:36):
the word of God for the people of God, that
they might be blessed. That they might be blessed. Listen
to me. It would behoove you to read this whole
ninety first Psalm Book of Psalms. There's much in it
that can glean that you can glean to help you
in your walk, your daily walk with God. Number One,
(10:57):
we want to do we want to do with Matthew
tay us to do. We want don't want to worry
about where we are, what we're gonna be clothed with,
what we're gonna eat, What you want uh your covering,
your shelter. If He clothes the lilies of the field
and feed the barriers of the air, how much more
whither he take care of you, oh, you of little faith.
(11:20):
But he tells us to seek first the Kingdom of God,
is righteousness, and all these things all a l l complete.
All of these things shall be added unto you. Now
that being said, let's go back to verse one. We
want to break this down a little bit. I want
you to know what God wants you to know in
(11:40):
this breaking it down exactly how to apply or to
what you're doing here. He said, he that dwelleth in
the secret place of the Most High, shall ABUYE shall
abuy this word abide. Now get this, I've never heard it,
(12:02):
but this word abide the Lord gave to me. It
means to accept or act in accordance with the rule,
decision and the recommendation to be able to tolerate under
the shadow of the Almighty, abiding to the rules. Matthew said,
(12:25):
seeking first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness right.
The Kingdom of God is more than meet and treats
from righteousness, joy and peace over in the Holy Ghost.
So he wants you to live in his kingdom. You
got to first believe that he is God and that
he's a reward of them that seek him. You got
to believe and trust that you no longer are in
(12:47):
the world, but you of the world. I mean, you're
in the world, but you're not of the world. You're
not made of the world. You don't follow the customs
and the wisdom of the world world any longer. You
follow the will of God. That's why you study to
show yourself a prove unto God. Hallelujah. You study the
(13:07):
word of God. You seek the wisdom that is from
above and not the wisdom of this earth. Hallelujah. You
present your body to God as a living sacrifice. You
transform your mind so you can prove what is that
good and accept the whin perfect will of God. He says,
abide under the shadow of the Omens. Abide in the
rules and the regulation of the Kingdom of God, and
(13:31):
and not end of this world. We were studying about
Jesus Christ this morning. Hallelujah. How he was superior over
John the Baptist. Why because he came first, Hallelujah. He
was the Word, and he became flesh. Hallelujah. After the
Word came, John the Baptist in Jesus was manifested, Hallelujah.
(13:55):
And John baptized him, and he received the Baptist the
Holy Ghost and came down upon him. And that same
Holy Spirit led him into the willdernessess to be tempted
of the devil. So Paul said it like this. Paul
encouraged the Thessalonians in the second Letter of Thessalonia in
(14:16):
the fifth verse, to stand fast and hold the traditions
which they have been taught, whether by word or by
letter or epistol. What you've been taught in your Sunday
school classes, what you studied and the Holy Spirit has
revealed to you to be true. Followed those directions. When
(14:37):
you go into the world. You're in this world, but
you're not of the world. You don't belong to yourself anymore.
You got to believe that God is protecting you. Hallelujah.
You got to walk in the authority of Jesus Christ
that He's given you hallelujah. Verse two. I would say
of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortres
(15:00):
my God, and him will I trust? Now, this is imperative.
When you abide in the Kingdom of God or up
under His mighty hand or in the shadow. What you're
doing is you're living by the truth of God. You're
living by the truth of God and not the truth
(15:20):
of man. You got to believe that the just like
Jesus was superior to John the Baptist, the Word is
superior over all. That is why, because He is the
creator of all things. We got to trust that. We
got to believe that despite what we see, despite that
(15:41):
we see it looks like wicked men are taking over,
God is in control. It looks like you're not going
to have what you need to get by God is
in control. You ever experienced sometimes you use your last
bit of knowledge and your last bit of wit to
get done. Why you are a Christian, and at the
(16:03):
very moment that you needed it comes and we say
God is an on time God. Then we want to rejoice,
and then we want to be glad, and then we
want to testify our body. But while we're going through
that situation, we have a tendency to worry and wonder
if God is going to deliver us well. I want
(16:25):
to tell you right now, if you abide in the
truth of God, the Word of God, and walk in
it accordance, in accordance to the Holy Spirit moves you
and uses you, you will have everything you need to
do the work that God has given you to do.
Paul said like this, I've learned how to be abased,
(16:47):
and I've learned how to be abound. I've learned how
to have plenty, and I've learned how to have little.
I've learned how to be hungry, and I've learned how
to suffer. Want glory to God in all things. We
are more than conquerors. Why because there's nothing new that
has come to you that you're not already, that that
(17:08):
is not a common to man, or that you don't
know about. Hallelujah. But God supplies your needs. Glory to God.
Verse three. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare
of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. Verse four,
He shall cover thee with his feathers as a chick.
(17:31):
As a chicken does her chicklets, she covers them with
her feathers. Glory to God, hallelujah. She makes sure that
they're protected by her wings. And under her wings, shalt
thout trust that the word is trust. Again, trust shall
(17:52):
be thy shield and thy buckler. Now get this, when
I was looking at this and I look these things up.
The shield represents protection. The shield represents protection. But the
buckler is something different. Not only is it a shield
a protector that protects you from the front, but a
(18:14):
buckler protects the whole person, surrounds you. That's like a
feather's They surround you. God's presence surrounds you. When you
walk in the Word of God, it surrounds you. It
does not leave anything of you exposed to the enemy
(18:36):
at all. Glory to God. He protects you with his
shield and buckler. Hallelujah. It totally surrounds you. Glory to God, hallelujah.
If at verse five, thou shall not be afraid for
the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies
by day. Now we know this fear is of the devil,
(19:00):
and perfect love castes out fear. Perfect love cast it
out fear. He has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power, love and a sound mind. How do
you get rid of fear? Walk in the will of God,
Do what God tells you to do, develop an ear
to hear what the spirit is same. Know the voice
of Christ's equal with and it's the same as the
(19:23):
word of God. Why because it is the word of God.
We got to trust that and believe that even when
it looks different, even when we are faced with adversity
right there in our face. We got to believe that
God already knows and God has already supplied what you
(19:45):
need to get through. Hallelujah. He does it every time. Hallelujah.
Some would say, why would God suffer this to happen
to that person of that, this person of that. We
need to know this, that when God looks at the matter,
he looks at himself as supreme over the matter. We
(20:09):
look at this, we look at the matter as uh,
we're weak against it because we don't have seemingly no
control over it. But the greater One lives in us
has control over it. So we we get weak at it,
we step back from it and we dive and we
(20:31):
take on the character of fear. Why because apart from
God we don't have any power. But with God we
can do all things. And we have to keep experiencing
Him through the Word of God, so we can learn
how to come bold it to the Throne of Grace
to ask Him what we have need of If you
(20:52):
need strength, asking for it now, Our but Father, which
are in heaven, how be thy name, thy Kingdom, Come,
Thine will be done. What is thine will for me
on today? Lord endow mean, give me the strength to
go through this day. Hallelujah. Give me the strength to
go through this valley of the shadow of death, and
(21:12):
it's a shadow of death. And give me the strength
of fear no evil fine, because you are with me.
Greater one lives in you. Glory to God. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in the darkness, nor
for the destruction that waiteth in the day noonday. A
(21:33):
thousands shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at
thy right side, But it shall not come, nize, it
shall not come by That's a promise from God. When
you walk in the word of God. When you live
in the word of God, when you are baptized into
the Word of truth, hallowdah, ye shall know the truth.
(21:55):
And the truth will make you free. It will liberate
your mind so you can prove what is that good
and acceptable in the perfect will of God. Hallelujah. When
you learn to walk up right before him. Now he
promised you that he will never leave you know where
he forsake you. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Even in even
(22:18):
when we are overtaken. And what I mean by that,
if we fall asleep, The Bible puts it that we
fall asleep. Those that are in Christ, we don't see death,
for to be absent from the body, to be present
with the Lord, we don't see death. Why because we
learn to die to the things of the flesh. We
learn to die to our old behavior, our old way
(22:39):
of doing things, our old mindset. We put on the
mind of Christ. We learn to walk up right. Why
because we walk in the spirit, not to fulfill the
loss of the flesh. Every day that you live, you
go to We have to learn how to die to
the flesh daily, so you don't have time to think
about what happened yesterday. The best thing you can do is, Lord,
(23:00):
forgive me whatever I did wrong yesterday, bring it to
my understanding so I can repent from it and keep
it moving. Hallelujah. I don't I can't live in tomorrow
because tomorrow's not given to me. It's got enough evil
in itself to take care. But what I have is
right now. Teach me how to live in the now,
(23:21):
the present. Hallelujah. At that moment and in that time,
right there all the building blocks for your future. Let
me tell you what the Lord revealed to me in
Psalms twenty three, when he said, though we walked through
the valley of the shadow of death, we should fear
no evil, for thou art with us. Thy riding our staff,
they comfort us. Thou preparest the table when you go
(23:43):
through the value of the shadow of death. He right
after that, he said, he prepares the table before you
in the presence of your enemies. And I said, God, no,
what is you just come out of this and now
we're at the table. Now the table is spread. Everything
that you need to refresh and revive yourself from dealing
(24:04):
with that dreadful situation is at the table. But it's
in the presence of your enemies. Now you are equipped well.
Jesus said, I give you another law, hallelujah, to love
your enemies even as I have loved you. So when
you see your enemy across the table from you, you're
(24:25):
no more to You're not there to destroy him and
despise him. You they're a bless him. You have an
abundance on the table. The Bible says that, and he
will anoint your head with oil and would run over.
You have more than enough to be a blessing to
your enemy. Hallelujah. The Bible says, he will make your
(24:46):
enemies be at peace with you. He gonna do one
or two things. He gonna be at peace with you,
or he will become your footstood hallelujah. But the earth
is the lord and the fullness that that's God's responsibility
to deal with him or her as he sees fit.
But he gives them the opportunity through you to be converted, hallelujah,
(25:08):
to be converted to righteousness, to be converted to Christ,
so Christ can use them, hallelujah. As well. Over to God, hallelujah.
Verse eight. Only with thine eyes shall God behold and
see the reward of the wicked. Hallelujah. Why are you
worried about the wicked and their devices? The Greater One
(25:34):
lives in you. He already promised you that he will
never leave you. No for sake. You're already abiding under
his shadow. You're following his rules and regulations. So they
have no authority over you. You're a part of his kingdom.
I think that's the problem. We forget that we are
bought with a price, and we don't belong to the
(25:56):
world any longer. They have no authority over us, who
have rule over everything that is made. Jesus, the son
of the Living God. All authority is given to him. Hallelujah.
And he's given us the kings to the kingdom. We
ask what we will from Jesus according to the scriptures
(26:17):
and God, and he will give it to us. He
will give it to us freely. Hallelujah, For he knows
what we have need of. The Holy Spirit maketh intercession
for us. For he knows what we have need of already.
Why because he knows the will of the Father, he
knows what the Lord expects of you, and he knows
(26:38):
the condition that you're in, so He's already praying for you.
But we should not reject the righteousness of God that
comes to us. And the way you know that is
by studying to show yourself a provent to God. While
you were in that state of abiding under the shadow
of the Almighty. Your position should be one of a
(27:01):
student learning. Hollered, hollering, do undo heavy burdens, loose fans
of wickedness. Hallelujah, Glory to God, Hallelujah. First nine, because
thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even
the most high thy habitation. Mm hmm. We're in this world,
(27:23):
but we're not of this world. We are He is
our habitation. When men and women see us, they should
see the Christ. They should see the glory of the Lord.
About you and your behavior, how you do things, John,
I don't do things the way I used to do.
(27:43):
They said, what happened to you? This is not like you?
That's right, because old things are passed away. Behold, all
things are become new. Hallelujah. Now faith is the so
some things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
(28:04):
You don't see it, but when you act upon it
as if it were there it becomes visible not only
to you, but to others that are watching you as well.
They see the glory of the Lord, They see the
manifestation of His goodness towards you. When he supplies every
one of your needs. Your bills are paid, you have
(28:25):
clothes on your back, and you have a roof over
your head. When you loose the bands of wickedness, and
you don't you undo heavy burdens, you don't act like
you used to do, and they see that you're still
living a fruitful life. They see they still they seed
that the joy of the Lord has become your strength.
You might not be in a fancy car like you
used to be, You might not be in a fancy
(28:47):
home like you used to be. You might not wear
fancy clothes and eat fancy food. But yet you're still
alive and carrying out the mission, the mission that God
has given you, the carry out with joy in your heart.
Even when men revile against you, say, all man of
evil against you, falsely for His sake, curse you out,
(29:08):
but you're yet doing good to them. Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Ten.
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague
come now thy dwelling. That's because you trust God and
live in his dwelling place. You live in the Word
(29:28):
of God. Now, this is the foundation of what I
want to talk about. You live in the Word of God.
The title is give thanks and it shall not come.
Give thanks and it shall not come. Discrip Remember the
(29:49):
scripture say a thousand shall fall at thy side, and
ten thousands at thy right hand, but it shall not come.
Now thee give thanks, let me give it. Tell you
why your position now is. Since you're living in Christ
and you're not your own your living, you have an
(30:11):
out of body experience. Your old nature is steady fading away.
You don't do things the way you used to do.
You don't think like you used to do. Look at this,
Write just down first, the Salonians five and eighteen. First
that Salonians five and eighteen. I want you to write
(30:33):
this down, Write just down. We used to sing it,
we used to quote it to get people happy for
the moment. But I want you to take this into
your spirit and be take the joy of the lorning
because this is everlasting to you. It says in everything,
(31:00):
and give thanks colon, for this is the will of Christ,
of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Let me read
that again. And some of the things that you go through,
give thanks. Oh that's not what it said. It says,
(31:20):
in everything everything, give thanks for this is the will
of God in Christ. While you are in Christ, you
are healing Christ because the works that you're doing is
not of your own hand, because you as workmanship, creating
Christ Jesus to do the work that God has ordained
(31:40):
for you. You not living for yourself any longer, but
you're allowing yourself to be led by the Holy Spirit
to do the work that God has given you to do.
So you are in Christ. And God says, in everything
that He allows you to go through, give thanks for
this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Why because He already has the victory. He's already went
(32:03):
to the cross for you. He's already dying for your sins.
He's already had victory over sin and death. Hallelujah. And
by his striketh you are healed. His word is helped
to all your flesh. Now listen to this. Listen to
Jesus testimony about giving thanks. Look at what he did
Mark eight and six. He said, this, and he commanded
(32:25):
the people to sit down. This is at the Last Supper,
and to sit down. And he took the seven loads.
I mean, this is at the when he fed five thousand.
I'm ahead of myself. He took the seven loads and
gave thanks. Now, let me say this. There's a lot
going on in the world today. The Lord told me this.
(32:48):
Let me in on this. A lot of us are
ill because of the things that we eat in this world.
With all the preservatives. They have not been tested long
enough to know the long term effects and then the
geniality of effects that they have on the human body. Okay,
they cannot know, so they put them out there anyway,
and they're having an effect on that. Mixed with other
(33:10):
things that are in the environment and the other things
that are let out on us intentionally, we are dying.
We are dying. But Jesus tells them here when that
young man had seven loads of bread, and he breaked them,
and he gave thanks, and he gave him to the
(33:30):
disciples before them, and they did sit set them before
the people. He gave thanks. Now at fourteenth chapter twenty
third verse, and he took the cup. When he's at
the last supper, and he had given thanks. He gave
it to them, and they all drank of it. Jesus,
(33:51):
give thanks even Jesus. Jesus came down in the likeness
of sinful flesh, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost,
he whom Nuno saying, became sin for us. Now look
at his He told John the Baptist. It must need
that the scripture be fulfilled. He had to go through
the same thing that we go through in order to
(34:13):
be a witness. Hallejah of God's goodness towards us. Now
he gave thanks to the Father. Halleujah. He who had
been with the Father and knew the Father that all
these things he experienced them before us, so we could
see that they work. Give thanks. So I declare to
you and decree to you the next time you eat
(34:34):
with going forward, every time you eat of anything, every
time you get into anything, every time God blesses with anything,
give thanks and everything. Give thanks, for this is the
will of God concerning you. Hallelujah. Paul went through y'all.
Remember Paul was on the boat going to Rome when
(34:56):
he was a prisoner to be caught. That's an twenty
seven thirty one Paul said to the centurion and the
soldiers accept these abide, oh, that the word is again.
Abide in the ship. Ye cannot be saved. Except you
abide in Christ, you cannot be saved. I'm telling you
(35:17):
that right now. He said. Except you abide in the ship, hallelujah,
you cannot be saved. Then the soldiers cut off the ropes,
the ropes of the boat and let them fall off.
And while the day was coming, Paul besought them all
to take meat. Hallelujah. They have been fasting, they being
our food, hallelujah, saying, this day is the fourteenth day
(35:40):
that you have tarried and continued fasting, having taking nothing, hallelujah.
Wherefore I prayed to you. Wherefore I pray you to
take some meat. For this is for your health. I
declare to you, when you eat the world word of God.
(36:01):
The Bible says this. I believe. In the fourth Proverbs
chapter four, Proverbs four, hallelujah, he said, Thy word is
helped to all thy flesh. Uh, he said, for thy health.
For there shall not not and hair falls from thy
head of any of you. He declared, unto them, nothing
(36:24):
will help helpen to you if you'll stay on this
ship and do what I told you to do. If
you stay on the ship, if you're abide in me
and my word abide in you, you can ask what
you will. He told them very much in the very
(36:46):
same way. See, you can apply the word practically in
your lives. Hallelujah. And he told them to stay on
the ship. And because they had what have been out food,
they started to eat. He said, this is for your health.
If you stay in the ship, you'll live. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
(37:10):
And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and
guess what he did. He give gave thanks to God
in the presence of all of them, and when he
had broken it, he began to eat. Paul even known
to give thanks, and all things give thanks for this
(37:33):
is the will of God. Now this boat was sinking.
He was on his way to wrong to be tried.
This boat was sinking, and he talked to the centurion soldier,
and he persuaded every last one of them on that
boat to listen to him and follow the directions that
he had given them. And guess what they all lived.
(37:55):
They all survived the crash of the boat. Hallelujah. Let
me tell you what in a book of songs, it's
spoken by over and over and over again. Psalm sixty
nine thirty seve I will praise the Lord with a song,
(38:15):
will and will magnify halllujah him with thanksgiving, and will
magnify him with thanksgiving. When you give thanks to God,
you magnify him. The way the Lord showed it to
me was it's like an umbrella being unfolded over your head.
And then the more and more you magnify him or
(38:37):
you give him thanks, it keeps expanding and covering more
and more. Like that shield and buckler, it surrounds you
when you are in Christ, in the anointed word of God.
It surrounds you that no weapon form against you will prosper,
and every tongue that rises against you in in judgment
(38:59):
you will condemn. Hallelujah Psalm ninety two and one. It
is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord
and sing praising unto his name, old mouths high, Hallelujah
Psalms are one hundred and four. Entering his gates with thanksgiving, hallelujah,
into his courts with praise, be thankful unto him, and
(39:22):
bless his name Psalms one hundred and five and one.
All give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name,
make known his deeds among don't be scared to talk
about the goodness of God. He sent you outstyle as sheep,
meant for the slaughter, to make disciples of men. Glory
to God, Hallelujah. Psalms one on seven and one. All
(39:43):
give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good and
his mercies endure forever Psalms one on seven twenty two.
And let them sacrifice the sacrifice of thanksgiving and declare
his works with rejoicing. If you're going to sacrifice, sacrifice
with thanksgiving in all things, in everything, give thanks unto
(40:06):
the Lord. But this is the will of God concerning you.
Looking at what Jesus does in the book of Luke,
Glory to God, hallelujah. And he took the cup and
gave thanks. This is luke account of what Jesus did
at the Last Supper. Luke is speaking now, hallelujah. He
witnessed this, and he gave, and he gave thanks and
(40:26):
said this, take this and divide it among yourselves. Glory
to God, Hallelujah. Twenty two and nineteen and he took
the bread and gave thanks again hallelujah, and break it
and gave unto them, saying, this is my body which
is given for you, this dude, in remembrance of me. Oh,
(40:49):
give thanks unto the Lord. In everything, give thanks unto
the Lord. Hallelujah. Glory to God, hallelujah. Give thanks and
it shall not come. Some of the things that we
experience we experience because we suppressed the truth. We walk
(41:09):
in the line, and we walk outside of the will
of God. Hallelujah. And then we wonder why we're experiencing
things that we should not be experiencing. We wonder why
we're not fruitful and multiplying. Every man, woman, born and
girl is a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
(41:30):
when they receive Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior.
Why because the Greater One lives in you, and he's
a minister of God. Hallelujah. He executes the will of God. Hallelujah.
Glory to God. And the greater One is in him
who does the work God himself. Glory to God. Now
this is the scripture I want to leave with y'all. Hallelujah.
(41:55):
Before the Lord before the end. This is Psalms nineteen
six and thirteen, before the end, for he cometh, For
he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the
world with righteousness and the people with his truth. Now
(42:15):
you are the word of God is truth. The Word
of God is truth. And if you like me or
have been like me, you suffered yourself to walk in
lies and being subjected to lies most of your lives.
(42:36):
The one person that has never and never will lie
to you is God himself, and he has given you
his son, Jesus Christ. Let me retract that come back
he has given us because I receive him, his son,
(42:56):
Jesus Christ, as for our sins and to lord over
our lives. He's the Lord. He's my lord as well
as my Savior. I abide in Him, and he's in me,
(43:16):
and the Father is in him. So I have the
completeness of the Trinity of God. I have the Father,
the Son, and the Holy ghosts living in me. In
my heart. It's the Father that's in Christ in me
that do with the works. Hallelujah. I'm hidden in Christ. Hallelujah.
(43:38):
Because Jesus said, the way I go, you don't know
he said, I go away to prepare a place for you,
and where I am, you shall be there too. But
you don't know the way. He said, I am the Way,
the Truth and the Light. No man coming unto the
Father but by me. So I got to be in Christ.
(44:02):
I got to hide myself in that anointed word of God.
Every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God,
God needs to see. God wants to find me being
a what a doer of the word, not just a
hero rejecting the word of God, rejecting the power of God,
(44:23):
many of us. That's why we're in the shape that
we're in. That is why our children are acting like
the acting he told us in due Romany six. And
then it exceed us twenty and twelve. I believe he said,
a child brought up in the way of God, hallelujah.
(44:45):
He said, a child ship respect their mothers and fathers,
that that day shall be long upon this earth. Du
Romedy six. He tells us to train them and teach
him the word of God morning, noon, and and early
in the morning. All through the course of the day,
(45:06):
we have rejected the truth. We have rejected the instructed
of God. Get we put in their hands devices that
will babysit them while we do go about to do
what we want to do. Hello, somebody we put in
their hands games, We excuse them from studying the word
(45:30):
of God, we excuse them from church, and we go
to take them to ball games, and they get excited
about that. By being on them, I'm not talking to
them about them, but that could be another time. Hallelujah.
The first thing that I would if I could do
it all over again, I would do this exactly what
(45:52):
I do now with the foster children that God put
in my hand. In my hand, I would bring them
up in the beauty and the administion of the Lord.
In the morning that they taught about Christ, they pray
about Christ in the noonday. When they talk to us,
it's about Christ. We don't just talk about frivolous conversation.
We talk about Christ and we compare it to what
(46:14):
they're going through today. In the evening when we sit
at the table dinner, the conversation has been about Christ.
Them asked asking questions. My wife is a can testify
to it. They asked questions about this and that, retaining
to the word of God. See, God will give you
a second chance, but you got to take advantage of it.
(46:37):
He told me this my own son, who was in trouble.
I couldn't get to him to do these things that
I've learned to do. Right now, he said, if you
take care of my business, I'll take care of yours.
He found my son where it was, and he sent
minister to my son, to minister to him, while I
(46:57):
stepped out on faith to minister those that around me. Well,
it's a pure and perfect religion to visit the widows
and the orphans. To keep yourself unspotted from the world.
How do you keep yourself unspoted from the world, dwelling
in the secret place of the most High, dwelling in
the truth, abiding in the truth and the rules and
(47:19):
the regulations of the Kingdom of God. And it's purely
He said, I leave you one law. Love, love your
neighbor as you love yourself, even as I have loved you.
Love you one another. He said, by this, shall you
know that you are my disciples, that you have loved
one to the other. Halleujah. When you do that, when
(47:47):
you do that, when you make it, you make up
your mind and your purpose in life to do that.
So you can be about your father's business to win souls,
getting wisdom to win souls, making this diciples of your man,
of your of men, making disciples of men. Your duty
is to give thanks in everything to God, no matter
(48:12):
where you go, no matter what you see, in everything,
give thanks to God. Even if you don't agree. Give
thanks to God, because no matter is his, not yours.
The work is his to perform, not yours. Why you
want to take on a burden that in days gone
by you've already proven that you're not able to handle
(48:35):
all of that? It stresses you out. You have all
of this and that on your mind, and it keeps
circumventing itself in and out of your mind, in and
out of your mind, taking you, taking you this way
and that way, and it subdues you, and it oppresses you,
and it wants to overtake you. The enemy of your soul,
(48:56):
walking about as a raw and lion, seeking whom you
made the vout. But the Bible tells you to be
sober and be vigilant for your adversary. Doers walk with about,
Be sober and be vigilant. Have the word of God
in you. Be in the word of God. Let it
subdue you, that it baptize you, let it submerge you
(49:19):
into it. Hallelujah. Your safety is in your hand, and
the safety of those that around you is in your hand.
Time is out for mean hearers of the word. It's
time to be doers. Led of the spirit Father God
(49:41):
is in the name of Jesus. Lord, we do thank you,
always giving, always given, thanks to you. You've done so
much for us, and you are doing yet doing much
for us. Will yet still here. Those that are listening,
yet still listen, have an opportunity, Lord, to humble ourselves
(50:03):
under your mighty hand, that you will exalt us in
due time, casting every one of our carriers upon you
our burdens, because it's you who will sustain us and
not suffer us to be removed. Hallelujah, Glory to God
help us, Lord Lord. We repent, Hallelujah, of not abiding
(50:25):
in your truth, not staying in the will of God.
We repent of we have gone or straight. We've been
led us straight by our own feelings, our own emotions,
and our own luss forgive us, Father, because we are
free will agents, and we have hallelujah, the right and
(50:49):
the power to choose who we will serve. That's what
you told us. And you told us if we ask
any good thing from you, you will give it to us.
If we lack the power, you said you would give
us strength. That's what you said. And we need you
right now, Lord, to help us in all to do
(51:09):
that which is pleasing in your eyesight, to abide in
the shadow of Their Almighty, to by it in your word,
to abide in Christ Jesus, just we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Now,
those of you who are not saved, who need Christ
(51:33):
in your life so you can hide in Him, ain't
nothing wrong with hiding in Christ. I hide Him every day,
every day. I try to every moment of the day.
I try to keep his word in my mouth in
my thoughts because and it's because I am yet a
human being in this wrapped up in flesh. I'm tempted
(51:56):
with religious beliefs and political beliefs and all manner of
doctrines and things around me. But I heard I think
it was David said. He said he consecrated himself. He said,
I will not put any evil thing in my eye.
I will not allow things to come in me that
(52:19):
will distract me from believing and trusting in you and
executing what you told me to ask and you receive.
If any of you want that type of assurance, that
type of love to develop you, to carry you through
(52:39):
and you're really concerned about where you're going to expend eternity,
I want you to pray after me. Jesus really does save.
He don't just saved by just calling, and he wants
you to live in him, spiritually living him, living by
the word of God. Whatever you learn, do it. Don't
(53:02):
be in such a hurry to try to learn it
at all time at one time. Take it one moment
at a time, day by day, which you didn't get yesterday,
repent from it and ask God to help you for now.
If you're in that position, you want Jesus to come
into your heart to be your savior first, and then
(53:23):
your Lord. Repeat after me. The Bible said this, If
you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and
believe in your heart that God is raised us from
the dead, thou shalt be saved. Say Father, forgive me
for my sins. Come into my heart and be my
(53:44):
Lord and save you. I believe that Jesus is your son,
and I believe that he died for my sins. I
believe that the same spirit that raised him up from
the dead will also raise me up from dead. Work Lord,
I further asked you to give me your spirit. Empower
(54:08):
me with your spirit to be a witness in all
the world, in my own home, to my neighbors, my community,
my job, and as far as you would take me.
Help me not to be weary and well doing, nor
be afraid, for you did not give me the spirit
(54:29):
of fear, but strengthen me and encourage me in Jesus name,
I pray, Hey, man, if you pray that prayer in
all earnestness and sincerity, Jesus lives in you now and
the Father in him. Now. It's going to take some studying,
(54:50):
some applying yourself to the word of God to liberate
yourself physically. Now your heart and mind belongs to God,
they live there, but He wants to deliver your physical
man as well. So you need to find your church home,
a Bible study group that teaches the Word of God
(55:12):
and not the wisdom of man. I can't stress that
you got to know the difference, not the wisdom of man,
but the Word of God. That's in the book. It's
in the Word. It's in the Word. If it doesn't
line up with the Word of God is not God.
I'm telling you, if it does not line up with
the Word of God, it's not God. Even revelations come
(55:36):
from the revealing of things that are already written. There's
nothing new under the sun. There are some deep things
that are not understood until God reveals them to us.
