Speaker 1 (00:38):
Who Jesus I want to blame. That's his name. You
don't wonder in my soul? Mm hmm. He the wonder

(01:05):
in my so the wonder in my south bland. H
is name Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you,

(01:32):
We give you praise, We give you honor, and we
give you glory. All the honor and all the glory
belongs to you. It is your Father who do it
the work. You're the creative of all things, and without
you there's nothing we can do. But there's no other God.
There's no other power but that the power of God.

(01:55):
And you hold all that is in your hands. You
are the redeemer of our souls, My God, from glory.
So I come to your throne of grace this morning,
thanking you Lord for redeeming me. I speak a blessing
over these that will hear the word of God, that
the face of God will be turned towards them and

(02:18):
shine on them, that you will sustain them, that you
will lift up their continents, that you will give them
peace in the time of storms. Hallelujah, that you will
give the thirsty something to drink when they are thirst
when you give the that you will give those that
are hungry something to drink. And you've called us, Lord,

(02:40):
out of darkness into the light, to be the carriers
of that love. Hallelujah. So Lord, we need your help
on today. Hallelujah. Your word is already blessed. So as
that Your Lord, that you helped me to be a
vessel that you may speak through. Give the people year

(03:00):
to hear with the spirit of saying and the heart
to receive it with gladness. These are all other blessings
that the Holy Spirit intercede for us. Hallelujah. And Christ
at your right hand, we pray Amen and amen. If
you agree where you are without a muting, give God
an amen where you are alliluien Well, God bless each

(03:24):
of you that are joining us today on this Facebook page,
of YouTube, whatever format that you're listening to this this
area on today. I'm Pastor Ronnie Hooks of the Word
of Life John one fourteen Church located here in Troy, Alabama.

(03:44):
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and
we be held in glory, that of the only be
Gotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. And
that is our endeavor to equip you with the Word
of God, so you can be living pistols, read of men,
walking and living testifying, speaking the Word of God in

(04:08):
your daily lives, not just sometime, but in all of
your ways, learning to acknowledge Him that the character of
God would be displayed through you and not the character
of man. Well, God bless you again. On today. I
want you to open up your Bibles. We're not going

(04:29):
to belittle the time. I want you to open up
your bibles to Proverbs. Two places in Proverbs Proverbs chapter three,
verses one through seven, and Proverbs Chapter six six sixteen
scribber sixteen six through nine. Write it down, Write it

(04:54):
down there as always, I asked you all to write
down these scriptures so you can go back and read
them and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to your needs.
I don't believe for a second God gives me these words,
or gives me these teachings, or these ministries or these
preachings for this for them to fall on death ears.

(05:17):
I believe that the words that I speak have life
in them. I believe that the word that I speak
not under my power, but under the power of the
Holy Ghost UH brings about restoration and reformation of you
and your character after the image of God. Hallylujah. I

(05:41):
want to talk about today, just simple and I'll give it.
Give you the names or the words, but I want
to talk to you. Talk to you this morning about
M and T MT. Just keep those letters in your
head MT, M and T, M and T. I want

(06:03):
you to brand them. Okay. Proverbs Verse chapter three, starting
in verse one, My son, forget not my law, but
let thine heart keep my commandments. Connect excuse me, but

(06:29):
let thine heart keep my commandments. Now, commandments are a
divine rule, especially one of the ten Commandments. The Sabbath
has to be made and are in order for the commandments.
A sabbath has to be made order for the commandments,

(06:51):
a room to be observed as strictly as one of
the ten commandments. So it's an ordained rule of God
and made for you, made for me to help or
not to help, but to bring order into a chaotic
situation or chaotic lifestyle that the world urses in. All

(07:19):
you gotta do is look at the world and everybody.
People on a different page. It's about me, it's about minds.
It's a chaotic world. Nobody cares them. Uh. The bottom
line is a dog eat dog. There's no love lost.
Hallelujah for no one else. Okay, that's commandments that your

(07:45):
heart will keep. Your heart will keep my commandments. And
that's crucial that the writer says, your heart will keep Michael,
for with the heart man believes unto righteousness. Hallelujah. It
must be with the heart. David said, thy word have

(08:06):
I hid in my heart that I might not sin
against thee? Verse two. For a length of days, long life,
and peace? Shall they add to thee looking at the
benefits of living by the commandments, all maned commandments, let
not mercy and truth for safety bind them about thy neck,

(08:31):
write them up on the table of thine heart. So
shalt thy find favor and good understanding in the sight
of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all
thine heart, and lean not to thine own understanding in
all thy ways. Acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy past.

(08:53):
Be not wise in thy own eyes, Fear the Lord,
and depart from evil. Hallelujah. Chapter sixteen, Verse six to nine.
By mercy and truth, iniquity is purged, and by the
fear fear meaning reverent respect for God. By fear of

(09:21):
the Lord, men depart from evil of respect for the Lord,
meaning that I'm afraid to get it wrong concerning God.
I'm afraid not to be obedient to the rules, to

(09:43):
the commandments of God. It starts out because of the
consequences of disobedience, but it turns into a love. I'm
afraid to be disobedient to my father because he loves me.
It turns from a one uh uh uh, a fear

(10:07):
of disappointment, to a fear of letting him down, not
being all that he calls me to be all right.
When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even
his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is

(10:29):
a little with righteousness than great revenue without right. Those
of you who are struggling with uh whether to be
right or wrong in a in a disagreement, listening with
the scripture said, better a little with righteousness than great
revenue without right. M halln lujah. The nine. A man's

(10:54):
heart divides his way, but the Lord directed his step.
A man's heart divides his way but the Lord directs
his steps. Now listen here MT. Some of you already
figured it out. It means mercy and truth. We're gonna

(11:16):
talk about mercy and truth today. Mercy and truth. That
not mercy and truth for safety. This is a principle
that the Lord showed me a long time ago. And
for those of you who are on jobs, those of
you have families, those of you will have relationships that

(11:37):
you're struggling with, listen of what the Bible says. Now,
you can find mercy and truth in the commandments of God.
Because of grace, God has given us mercy. Hallelujah. If
you practice mercy, and if you practice truth, the truth

(11:59):
of God. The Bible says this, and buying them about
your next you shall have favor with God and with Man.
Now I noticed to be true. I practiced him when
I would rather than being angry with a person that
I was managing on my job at the time, I

(12:24):
would practice mercy and always operate in truth, meaning this,
if there was a situation that occurred, I would search
diligently for the truth of the matter. If that mean
I had to interview several people in order to get

(12:45):
down to the truth. That's what I had to do.
It was only the right thing to do. And then
when you find out the truth, don't look to execute,
but look to practice mercy with the end of it. Now,
this is the formula. This is the remedy that God
has given us to operate in like he does with us.

(13:09):
Case in point, For God so loved the world that
he gave his only begotten son that who's sort of
a believe in him should not perish. But what have
ever lasting life? We were sinners in God's eyes, and
He would have been justified in destroying us. Why because

(13:33):
we are deaf, We were disobedient children, We were disobedient race.
We were disobedient creation. Everything that God created obeyed God,
but man. Everything obey God but man. Because of a

(13:57):
one man's sin, one man's disobedience, sin came into the earth,
came into the earth realm where we live and die
and then have our being. But by one man's obedience,

(14:17):
God has given us grace. That's his mercy towards us.
He's given us grace, the unmerited favor that we have
with God that we did not purchase. We did not
own it, we did not develop it. It was just
freely given to us by God and given to us

(14:39):
to execute with others. Hally, I'm reminded of a parable
in your Bible about a man that was the ruler.
He owed the ruler some money, and he came to
the magistrate to the cour and they found him guilty

(15:03):
mm hm. And he was sentenced about to be the
sentence and the and the uh under leader. Rather than
giving him UH sentencing him, what he did was had
mercy on him. He said, go your way and be
at peace. Right. He forgave him of his debt. He

(15:27):
went right out and got with his buddy, got with
his friend, and seeing somebody that owed him, and rather
than practiced mercy with the person that owed him, he
executed judgment and wanted his money wherever the king or
the ruler had found out about what he did, and

(15:49):
he called him back and he had to get that.
The Bible said that he was cast into outer darkness.
He had to pay the full penalty of his unrighteous act.
God expects us, since he had mercy on us and

(16:10):
gave us grace and truth, we are to do likewise,
He said, judge, not need she be judged. Hello, somebody
the Bible tells us that all have sin and comes
short of the glory of God. If you try to
separate yourself from that statement of God, you're deceiving yourself

(16:33):
and your and the truth is not in you. When
you submit yourself under the hand of God and receive
everything that God says about you as truth, hallelujah, you

(16:55):
set yourself up to become the righteousness of God in
Christ Jesus, by taking on the spirit of Christ, the
spirit of life that is in Christ, that makes you
free from the law of sin and death. The spirit
of life that is in Christ. That's the walk right,

(17:17):
live right. That's the word of God made fleshing. You
listen to this. We are in an era, We in
a time when we're in a season whether scriptures is
actually coming off the pages and manifesting itself in our lives.

(17:40):
It used to be said, well, I've heard that from
my grandma and grandpa, wars and rumors of wars, king
nation against nation, right, But it's reality. Now, it's a reality.
And the Bible says in the twenty fourth chapter of Matthew,
these are the beginning of sorrows. These are only the

(18:01):
beginning of sorrows, and it's getting and it's took the
point now he says in that scripture, they will turn
you over, they will, they will betray you. It's that
point right now in other countries they are betraying one
another that are Christians, and they're going to jail for it,

(18:24):
and some being killed because they're Christians. Okay, But then
it's also says that false prophets will rise up. Are
they in the land, Yes, already, that will deceive many.
And there are many that are falling away from the church. Now,
get this, that's the longest. Second chapter says this that

(18:49):
don't be worried about the end time because they will
not come except their first be a great falling away.
And people have failed away from coming in church. Y'all
get what I'm coming to. Get where I'm trying to picture.
I'm trying to paint here. These things are happening right now.
And it says in that when these things happen, he

(19:12):
said that and the love of many will wax cold
because of iniquity. You do know, we do know this
that when he comes back, when Jesus comes back for
his bride the church, he expects to find faith in
the earth. Okay, we know that faith worketh by love. Okay,

(19:41):
faith worketh by love. You can't have God type of
faith if you don't have the love of God in you.
Look here. God wanted to dwell in the midst of
his people. When Moses went up to his mouth Sini,
he said, he told Moses he wanted to dwell in
the midst of his people. He wanted to make his abode.

(20:03):
He wanted to make his camp in the middle of
the camp of the people so they could come to him.
Because they rose up to play or to sin, God
decided he was going to kill him. Moses interceded for them.
He said, Okay, Moses, that was only the delay. Because

(20:23):
many of those people did end up dying in the wilderness.
The earth opened up, many of them swallowed up, Snakes
came out and bit many of them. Many of them
died in the way. God does not lie. His word
will manifest. But what did happen is God delayed destroying

(20:44):
the whole nation. What he did was he put his camp,
He put his temple outside of the camp. But his
whole intent was to be in the midst of his people,
to put his temple in the midst of his people,
to be close to you, to be in with you
individually collectively. So what did he do? He sent his

(21:06):
son into the world to die for our sins. Not
just to die for our sins, but to be the
temple of God. He states, I believe it's in the
fourteenth chapter of John. He states that I am in
the Father, and the fathers in me, and we are one.

(21:27):
And Jesus said, now I am in you, and he
prayed in seventeen that we become one, even as he
and the Father are one. Now, if Jesus, the Hope
of Glory abides in your heart, we asked her to
come into our heart and be our Lord and savior.
Right he is first Savior, then Lord. He governs over

(21:51):
our life. The government is up on his shoulders. He
is first Savior and then Lord because he washed away
our sins. So we can him as Lord in our hearts.
Now when he comes into Lord. The Bible says this
in the Book of Luke for a first chapter that
says he was filled with the the fullness of the
Holy Ghost, where we only have a portion. Jesus is

(22:18):
filled with the holy the fullness of the Holy Ghost,
So not only do you have in your heart Jesus,
that you have the fullness of the Holy Ghost. Now
watch this. Not only do you have Jesus and the
fullness of the Holy Ghost in you, you have the
Father which is in the perfect temple. Jesus. He abides in,

(22:41):
He abides in his son. So great is he that's
in me than he is in the world. So when
God speaks, everything listens. Everything has to obey the glory
to God. Now look at this mercy and truth. You

(23:04):
do not want your love to wax colt because of iniquity.
Iniquity is this iniquity is immoral, engrossly, grossly unfair behavior,
wickedness and sin. That's just simplified ungodly behavior, ungodly behavior.

(23:33):
Anything that the Bible says considers unrighteous. Okay, we can
name some things. Lying or lying is unrighteous. Okay, being
a black bier is unlike unrighteous men. Sleeping with men
is unrighteous. Okay, Being horrmongers is unrighteous. Being gruttonous is unrighteous.

(24:00):
A want the things that the Bible says and such
slight are unrighteous. So that's ungodly behavior when you act
in that manner. That's I don't care how you put it.
You can say, well, I give yourself an excuse. All
you want to is still unrighteous in God's eyes and

(24:21):
should be in our eyes. We shouldn't be. We shouldn't
live to want to hold onto those things. We should
live to want to repent or get away from those things.
Let me let me tell you how to do it,
How to get rid of that iniquity that causes your
love to wax cold. Go back to sixteen Proverbs sixteen

(24:44):
to six. It's right there, right there, our title empty
by mercy and truth. Iniquity is purged by mercy and
truth iniquity is purged. In other words, if you practice

(25:04):
mercy and you practice the truth, you purge yourself, or
you eliminate out of your spirit, out of your soul,
that iniquity, that bad behavior, that bad behavior that makes
you in any regrets. Look here, we have authority through

(25:30):
Christ Jesus, to decree a thing, to declare a thing,
to have victory, because he dies for our sins. We
are free through the liberty of the spirit, to live
righteous sleep. But we have to choose to every day.

(25:51):
You do not if they put if you are in
a pit, and you can't struggling to get out. Look
at this, saints, the latter has been given to you.
It's been put down in the pit for you to use.

(26:13):
It's ludicrous, it's not Why is it all to have
a ladder in the pit and stay in the pit
when you can climb out of it? Paul tells us
in the word I believe it's Paul, he said, every
man must work out his own salvation with fear and triumpley.

(26:37):
Come out the pit, use mercy and truth. It already
said in chapter three. It will not only give you
favor with God with man, but it will deliver you
from it that bad behavior that causes your love. The
way you know what that love is. I just told

(26:58):
you that the Father bids in the sun. The Father
is love. If you allow that bad behavior to continue,
you are not displaying the image of God. So he
who is loved is waxed cold. He's not functioning in

(27:19):
your life. I don't care how you put it. He's
not functioning. You did not give him control. You're not
allowing him to change or transform your image into the
image of God. When you don't allow that love to function,
When you don't practice mercy. When you don't practice truth,

(27:39):
your behavior remains the same, and it's offensive to God.
It's an abomination to God. Why because it's not what
he intended. It's not what he created. Hallelujah, listen to it. No,

(28:01):
I was reading uh, I think it was uh the
henry on the internet. I wrote this. They wrote this
about mercy and truth. He says. The word mercy Hebrew
also often translated kindness kindness. Oh, come on now, kindness
towards somebody, loving kindness towards somebody. Uh what Uh? Matthew

(28:28):
five and said, love your enemies, do good to those
who do you wrong. Speak no either of no man,
pray for them that despightfully you, despightfully use you and
persecute you. That's contrary to the nature of man. Right,

(28:50):
This is what he says. The word mercy means kindness
and loving kindness and loving kindness truth Hebrew occur more
than in the songs than in any other book. In fact,
mercy occurs more in the songs than all the rest
of the Old Testament put together. Though at first these

(29:14):
two concepts seem opposed to each other. For how can
God's truth which adores, abhorre sin, be compatible with His mercy,
which forgive sin, which forgive sin. You curse not, but

(29:35):
you forgive. Learn to forgive if it'll keep you from
being judged. Glory to God. That's the word of God.
Judge not that you won't be judged. Forgive, and you
shall be forgiven. Nevertheless, they are met together for this salvation.
That's deliverance for this salvation. According to the precious previous verse,

(29:58):
is n them that fear him. I just explain to
you that this fear is reverence to God, a deep
respect for Him, so much of respect that you don't
want to do wrong to the one that loves you
the most. You rather die, and this is evident Paul.

(30:22):
Paul said, I die daily the things that I don't
want to do in the other life. That's what I
end up doing. He said, I'd rather put the debts
the deeds of my flesh than to continue in sin. Hallelujah.
Mercy and truth, loving kind is truth are both together
brought together at least sixteen times in the Old Testament,

(30:43):
including ten times in the Psalms, and when God's eturnal
truth can be united with his loving mercy, look at
this and both meditated, both mediated through the Holy Word.
That is great blessings. Indeed, now, when mercy and truth merge,

(31:05):
look at this. I want y'all to see this, when
mercy and truth merge because of mercy. Now I can
operate in truth because of mercy. Because he had mercy
on me, okay, and didn't invoke punishment on me. I
have the opportunity because I'm saved by grace through faith,

(31:29):
which is a gift of God. Jesus paid the penalty.
Now I'm free from sin. Now I'm free to act
out the will of God. And I don't have to
be bound to the cuttings and the works of my
flesh if I yield myself to the will of God. Now,
look at this. In Psalms eighty five and ten says this,

(31:53):
And I don't know if I ever read it before,
seen it before, probably did, but just looked over it
says this and truth are met together. Righteousness and peace
have kissed each other. Mercy and truth are met together.
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. These verses may

(32:17):
be understood to perform the to reform people government, the
administration of which all those through grace are commanded the
rulers and rules shall all be merciful and true, righteous

(32:39):
and peaceable. Glory to God. When mercy and truth come together,
they kiss hallelujah. They mercy is me meant to bring
you closer to God. And now you are one with God.

(33:05):
Now you're no more enemies, but you're at peace with God,
the peace that surpassed all understanding. Now you have the
ability to do that which is right in God's eyes,
change your behavior. We talked about the law in the

(33:27):
beginning the commandment. You need the laws or to show
you where you were seeing us in your life. God
already told us that if you say you have not seining,
you're deceiving yourself. All have sin that comes sort of
the glory of God. Why did Paul died daily? Because

(33:50):
he knew that in his members with no good thing,
and he put no confidence in his flesh. Ask yourself,
how many times you wake up in the morning, you
go through the course of the day, and you put
confidence in your own understanding, your own intellect. You, oh,
you you are being smart, you're being wicked and all
of that, and you put it above the counsel of

(34:14):
God or the word of God, Or how many are
rather this? How many of you get up in the
morning and say, Lord, not my will, but I will
be done. I need your wise counsel to overthrow and
oversee the life that you've given to me. I don't

(34:37):
want to walk and in concert with the world. I
want to walk in contradiction to the world. I want
to walk in the way, not in the course and
the rudiments of this world. Mercy in truth and get
you there. That's how you purge yourself from iniquity. When

(34:58):
you operate in that you are, you set yourself up
your love, the love of God to work through you
to do that which is needed. Because how many of
you know that you are God's workmanship. God has designed
each of you to do a specific work in the
body of Christ. And for those who don't know Jesus,

(35:19):
He called us to go into the world and make
disciples of men. How many of you are workers of discipleship,
go out and discipling men and women into the Kingdom
of God? Or how many of you go out there
to disciple men into your church up up under one
person rule? Or you usher or do you ursher them

(35:44):
to Christ and let Christ put them to work. God
has worked for them. God has worked for you. You
cannot walk around here in fear if I'm doing right
or wrong. If you're gonna walk in fear, walk in
the reverential fear of deep respect for God, that God.

(36:05):
I hope, I'm with you. I can do all things.
I want to do this thing right. I'm tired of
making mistakes. That you are not with me, because you're
gonna make mistakes. But at least if you're gonna make
a mistake, let God be with you in that decision.

(36:28):
He will teach you. He will guide you even if
you error. He said, That's what he said. He said,
I will never leave you, know and forsake you. He said,
the work I've begun and you I will complete until
the day is done. Paul said, old wretched man that
I am. Who will say? Who will deliver me from

(36:50):
this body of death? With the mind I served the
law God with the flesh of lost sain. Why he
found there was a law in his members that tried
to kill him, that was trying to kill him. You
can't trust yourself, the Bible says, you can't even you
can't even trust your heart. Watch this, how many of
your time. Watch a love movie or or show or

(37:12):
something like that, or you heard somebody do it and
they deeply in love, or they want to do something,
they want to do a job, or want to uh
further their career, and they say, hey, follow your heart,
young man, follow your heart, young woman. Let me tell
you what God says about your heart. It's above all things,

(37:33):
it's desperately wicked. Desperately wicked. God told Noah, he said,
UH that the imaginations of a man's heart is evil,
even from his youth. Now, the only time that you
can tell somebody is to follow their heart is when

(37:55):
they have Jesus in their heart. And how do you
know that it does? You will see the steady clime
or the steady transformation in behavior. I don't go where
I used to go. I don't do what I used
to do. I don't think like I used to think.

(38:17):
I'm steady, evolving, steady changing. I would not this is me.
I would not want to be in a religion where
I God saved and just stayed the same. I want
to be more like Jesus. I want to be the

(38:40):
image of God. You know why they were able to
go through the pearlygates are able to be received by
God because they didn't look like the old wretched self.
They look like a new creation created in Christ. Jesus

(39:05):
that all that old stuff had passed away. Behold, all
things had become new. It became a new creation in Christ. Jesus.
Hallelujah loudly God, grace and mercy, mercy and truth, mercy
and truth. I've been thinking about this for over thirty years.

(39:28):
How do I keep iniquity from flourishing in my life?
I had to learn what iniquity is, you know, break
it down something that I can practically be practical with.
Bad behavior bad behavior is is behavior that is contrary
to the will of God. Break it down something that

(39:52):
you can understand. And all you're getting getting understanding. I
know my bad behavior because it's not what God will want.
It's not the will of God concerning me. Jesus said this,
I only say those things that my father said. I
only do those things that my father tell me to do.
Holy Ghost had the same testimony. I only do I

(40:14):
only tell you what he tells me. I don't speak
of myself. I don't have my own agenda. Jesus is
the way, the Truth and the life. No man coming
to the Father but by him, No man coming to
the Father but by him. He's a perfect example. He's

(40:34):
a mediator. He's the governor of every nation. Hallelujah. He's
a will in the middle of well, he's a door,
he's the porter, he's a good shepherd. What do you
need him to be? He is the Word of God
that was made flesh and dwelt the mothers and we
bell hit, we beheld his glory, that of the only

(40:56):
begotten of a father. Or it said something his glory,
and it's of the only begotten of the Father's Why
because the Father lives in him. It's the Father that
does the works. If you read the Book of Thessalonians,
fourth chapter, it will say he said, you have no
need of that man should teach you. God say, I
will teach you brotherly love. When it comes to some

(41:21):
things about life, there's only one teaching. That's God. The
Holy Gos hasn't a sign, The Son hasn't a sign
in God's creation, in God's order, and the Father has
the ultimate sign. It is him that do it the worst.

(41:44):
Jesus testified that it's not me to do with the work, y'all.
It's the Father in me to do with the works.
All power is given us to Jesus right for this season,
for this time. But before that it was in the
hands of the Father. And after this dispensation, after this

(42:08):
assignment is over, who're going back to be here? I
believe it's gonna go back to the Father. So if
you want the Father and you to work and not
on love his allow his love to wax cold. And
the only way to wax cold is that you give

(42:28):
yourself not to the behavior of God but to the
behavior of the world. You act like the world, his
love will wax cold. And you gotta show kindness one
to another. He's not saying you have to like what
they're doing. But God didn't like what we're doing either,

(42:48):
and he sent his son. He didn't destroy us, He
sent his son to die for us. So likewise, the
Bible says this, scarcely would righteous man die for another?
And I asked this question, will you dare to die
for other person? When you dare to put away your misdeeds,

(43:09):
your old behavior, to demonstrate to be used by the
Holy Spirit to demonstrate righteousness till other people can see
it will you dare to die, when you dare to
put away that old man, that old behavior, not by
powering over by the spirit of life that is in Christ.

(43:34):
You choose today, who are you going to serve? Probably
in the name of Jesus, I can speak for myself
mercy and truth by which iniquity is purged, that old man,

(44:01):
that own behavior is done away with. I pray Father,
that we take hold of this word, and that men
and women, boys and girl that will see this will
take it and look into it. And Father, I asked

(44:21):
you to speak to their hearts, speak to their minds,
speak to their souls, that they might receive. I pray
that they received this opportunity to be prepared to be
caught up with you and not left behind. Because they

(44:42):
didn't want to change their behavior. They didn't want to
receive the love that you are a father, to work
the works that are pleasing to you. They try to
do it on their own, and they will fail. But
if your word said, it's not your will that we
should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And

(45:06):
that's what I pray. Lord, I'm in agreement with your
word and Jesus name, I pray man. Now, those of
you who don't know Jesus or who are not sure
about your relationship with Jesus, who are caught up in

(45:29):
this cycle and don't see any change in your behavior,
see that you're being You're becoming a new person. You
don't do what you used to do. I'm not talking
about how fast it actually, I'm talking about that it's
happening period. If you want to, you can follow me
as I go through the sinner's prayer and make sure

(45:53):
that Jesus is in your life, that he's in your
heart because the Father is in him. It's him the
do the work, that does the work. It's him. God
is loved and that faith that He given each of us,
the measure of faith, it is activated by him. That's

(46:18):
his faith, and it's activated by him faith working by love,
love with God. If that is your desire, I want
you to repeat after me. We're gonna recite Romans ten
ninety ten. If you confess with your mouth the Lord

(46:39):
Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God raising
from the dead, the Bible says doubts shall be saved,
repeat after me, Father, I have sinned against you and
against mankind. I ask you to forgive me and come
into my heart and be my lord as well as

(47:04):
my savior, to govern this life that you've given me,
that my behavior will change. I believe that Jesus is
your son who was our perfect example. I believe that
he died for my sins took him all the way.
Now I'm free to live a righteous life. I believe

(47:24):
that the same spirit that raised him from the dead
will also assist me from raising up and raising up
for my dead works. Father, I asked you to give
to me your spirit, even the spirit of truth, empower
me to be a witness. For it's in Jesus name.

(47:47):
I pray Amen and Amen Amen. After praying that prayer,
the Bible says that when you come into opposition, because
the enemy try to deceive you and let you try
to get you to believe that you're not saved, you
ask the Lord because you belong to him. Now you

(48:07):
don't belong to yourself anymore, and neither are you free,
free to be plucked by the enemy. Ask God to
come in and help you. Ask him to come in,
help him. Call on the name of Jesus. At the
name of Jesus, every niece shall bind every tongue confest.
That's your right now. Further add on to that, you

(48:30):
need a church homer, you need a word in your heart.
We provide with this Ministry of Safe Haven that you
can learn the Word of God, okay, in our classes.
If you're interested in that, look on my Facebook page,
Ronnie Hooks and on my YouTube page Pastor Ronning Hooks,

(48:51):
and you'll find the information pertaining to our classes and
how to get in contact with me. Now, if you
prefer to find someplace in your area to worship, pact
and to be taught, you can still contact me because
God has blessed us to have contacts around the country
that you can get that. We can help you find

(49:13):
the church home so you can learn in. But it's
essential that you get up under in the word of
God and with a design a teacher that it will
teach you the word of God. Hallelujah. All right, God
bless you, God keep you, and the Lord make his

(49:36):
face to shout up on each of you. I have
a believing Amen. Amen,
