Speaker 1 (00:02):
Oh look, jeez uh. He calls for the becush, good
(00:27):
afternoon of good morning to all of you who are
on Facebook today. Morning for some that are in Central
Standard Time, and afternoon for those Eastern Standard Time. Glory
to God. Holland Pastor Ronnie Hooks of the Word of Life,
John one fourteen Church located in Troy, Alabama. And this
(00:51):
is our morning worship. Hallelujah. And the Word became flesh
and dwelt among us, and we be held as gloried
that of the only be gotten of the Father full
of grace and truth. We thank God for you joining
us on today. We really appreciate him and how he
sustained us and allowed us to be here on today
(01:15):
that we may share with you a word from the
Lord on today. We're no further Ado. Let us go
into prayer. We're going to ask God to be in
the midst of this time of sharing and be in
the midst of your hearts as we pray that you
receive the Word the spirit of the Word in your hearts. Father,
(01:40):
thank you for this time that you've given us. You've
given us on another day, another opportunity to bring your
word to your people. You said and all of our
getting gett an understanding. And Lord, as you gave it
to me and help me to understand the word of God,
holler you, because in your words his life and it's truth.
(02:02):
We ask Lord, that thief that will hear the word
as you bring them to the broadcast, whether it be Facebook,
whether it be YouTube, or whether it be whole gospel radio,
or whether it be on our heart radio, whatever media
platform you send it to them, Lord, we ask Lord
that you helped him receive it with gladness and hide
(02:24):
it within their heart and study it that they may
show themselves approved to you workmen that need not be
a shamed right in fighting the word of truth. And
we give you all the glory and all the praise.
Not my will, but I will be done. As I
move out of the way. I asked that the Holy
Spirit step in weard my lips and my thoughts. Holl
(02:48):
guide me and what to do and what to say. Lord,
that the glory of the Lord will be revealed today
right now. In Jesus' name, we pray Man, and Amen
again we thank God for you on today. This is
the first Sunday in July five, first Sunday in July
(03:09):
twenty twenty five, and we thank God for it. Here.
Recently the Lord has been blessing me or inencouraging me
to minister to you all about pending danger and times.
A few weeks ago the Lord gave me to warn
(03:33):
us the dangers of the mind, danger, danger, danger, how
we can be moved by our own dictates or our
own imaginations, which a lot of times we yield to
(03:55):
our own understanding, and we don't acknowledge God, and there's
danger in doing so. For the carnal mine is the
enemy of God. Need indeed can it do the will
of God? And after that, the Lord gave us to
a minister on what is a soul worth, and we
(04:17):
talked about the prodigal son, how he was. The father
was not only concerned about the son that it took
his inheritance and went out into the world and would
riots us living and gave it all the way. But
he was concerned about the oldest son that didn't want
to come to the celebration, and he went and got
(04:38):
him and brought him into the celebration of his work.
You know, many times we put the world's work, wealth
or our substance a substance above a soul that needs
to know about Christ Jesus. And then on last week,
I believe it was yes last week, he had me
(05:01):
to speak about the end, and we spoke from Matthew
twenty four, chapter twenty four, starting in verse thirty seven,
and he talked about Noah and the days of noise
going to the end will be sudden like that. We
just experienced the flood the other day in Dallas, and
(05:22):
it was sudden. Some of the reports that I seen
and I heard expressed the river was calm and flowing,
and all of a sudden it started spreading. And the
flood came so suddenly, and it destroyed a lot of
(05:42):
property and took some lives, both good and evil. So
we're in a time right now because of man's disobedience,
blatant this obedience to God and not just talking him
by those that are unbelievable, but we're talking about believers
(06:03):
too that have known what is right, and they won't
do it. That won't he heed to the word of God. Uh,
that won't learn how to forgive, that won't h learn
how to do good to them? We keep evil in
our mouths, speaking not speaking well of one another, speaking
evil concerning one another, and not esteeming others more highly
(06:27):
than ourselves. There's a g littony of things that that
believers are doing wrong, and we won't give into instructions
and reproof and correction. So God is soon to come
and the wrath of God is with him. Today we're
(06:49):
going to be coming from a prophet, one of the
minor prophets of Amous. Here. For the last few weeks,
our son school class has been reading about Amos and
how Amos had been warning the people of God's judgment
(07:09):
that was coming because of their disobedience. So I want
you to turn with me to the Book of Amos,
Book of Amos, and particularly go to the twelfth chapter.
There's some things in that he talked about that the
(07:32):
Lord really impressed upon me to talk about today. Book
of Amos, the eighth chapter, start at verse one. Now
I'm gonna read two verses verse one and two, and
the King James, I'm gonna read it the same two
(07:54):
verses in another version, verse one. Thus have the Lord
God showed unto me talking about Amos, and behold a
basket of some aer fruit, And he said, Amos, what's
see it? Thou, and I said, a basket of some
(08:19):
aer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me. The end
is come upon my people of Israel, and I will
not again pass by them anymore. That's the King Dame version.
Let me read to you another version. It says it
like this. This is what they Almighty Lord showed to
(08:42):
me A basket of ripe some are fruit. Verse two.
He asked, what do you see, amos, A basket of
right some of fruit, I answered. Then the Lord said
to me, my people Israel are now ripe. I will
(09:04):
no longer overlook what they have done. I will no
longer overlook what they have done. Mm hmm. It seems
to me that when you look at the calamities that
are going on in today, uh, such as the flood
the other day in Texas, and the the various other
(09:28):
things that are happening in in in our society, wars
and the rumors of wars, the bombings, and uh, the
the economy how it's going and uh the economic uh
failure of our politicians taking away from those that are
(09:53):
in need, and people are being turned out into the
streets and not able to to care for themselves because
they lack so there is a judgment that has come
upon the world. Hallelujah. Let's look at this word summer fruit.
(10:19):
It means ripe fruit, fruit that is mature and ready
for the harvest. It is at the end of its
time of development and should be ready for gathering good
(10:39):
or bad. The end has come to God's people, the
end of the kingdom of God's people, of their time
choosing to serve God, of their time, choosing to serve
God through obedience or themselves. Let me read that again.
(11:05):
It's time to choose whether they stay. Whom You're gonna
serve good or bad. Hallelujah, through your obedience or your disobedience,
through your obedience of the word of God, or of
(11:27):
the luss of your flesh through disobedience. Now look here,
that doesn't that just doesn't mean going out and drinking
or gambling or drugs or forticating that sort of thing.
It means too that when the Bible tells you to
(11:49):
do good to them that hate you, and you choose
not to, and when you put other people's name names
in your mouth, I know we say, don't care to
pastor's name out of your mouth, uh, out of uh.
The Bible says, speak evil of no man, glory to God.
How when he tells you to pray for those who
(12:12):
persecute you, Yeah, yeah, intentionally persecute you and do evil
against you. He tells you to pray for me, and
we don't. Uh. That puts you in that category of disobedience.
Glory to God. All of their chances for outward happiness
and glory with God, who're over. That's why you're talking
(12:35):
about summer fruit, all of their chance chances. That does
this sound familiar? We had years of of uh prosperity.
We able to buy what we want, We able to
do what we want, we to uh buy homes and
(12:59):
cars and things of that nature. And then uh, I'm
just gonna use as a reference. And then things and
I know other things came to uh hurricanes uh Katrina's
won uh, tornadoes, floods, famines, uh, covid. These things came
(13:22):
to warn us of impending danger, judgment coming up on us.
H All of their chances were of happiness were taken away,
and the glory of the Lord of that God was over. Uh.
We're seeing a lot of hardship these days, and we're
(13:44):
not able to do it. Uh. There seems to be
one in the office now that doesn't obate the law.
When the judges tell him to do something, he just
he disacknowledged them of all this one. Hallelujah. Uh, there's
summer ended. As we're talking about summer fruits. That summer
(14:05):
has ended, and they are not saved. In other words,
summer fruit. The time has come. God has been giving
chance after chance after chance after chance. Amos has warned
them back, and God has sent a prophets before him
to warn the people. And they come out of sin,
(14:27):
they go back in the sin. They come out of sin,
they go back in the sin. And as I said,
it's just not with the things that we are. We
normally preach about gambling, for nication, our dolagarry and those things,
but it's things in disobedience. When he tells you to
love someone and you don't, you actually actually harbor hatred
(14:49):
in our hearts against that person. See, it's a small
factune that destroyed the vine. When he tells you to
reconcile with one another, When he tells you to go
to that pers and and get it straight before you
bring your gift to the altar. I'm talking about these
things that we don't do, and we think God is
going to look over them, and God is saying, no
(15:11):
more when I look over these things. When when when
you are, when you are shared by through the words,
and when you're shared by your peers sons, Uh, obey
your fathers and fathers. Uh, don't provoke your sons the
wrath husbands. Love your wives as Christ love the church. Wives.
(15:34):
Honor your husband. When we don't obey the word of God.
Glory to God. It's just not the one that's gambling, hallelujah.
It's just not the prostitute. It's just not the drug
gathered of the drug pusher. It's just not the man
(15:54):
that's cheating and and and stealing. But it's those that
are direct. This is obedience to the word of God.
He's talking to all their soul. Prosperity is over. You're
talking about summer fruit right here. In the Arabic language,
it means to take a hook and pull down the
(16:17):
branches to harvest the fruit, ready or not. It's a
time that God has set aside that he's going to
be ready to harvest in the fruit. Hallelujah. So are
(16:38):
we going to be a tree that a part of
the tree that bears good fruit, or are we going
to be a part of the freak tree that does
not bear any fruit? Remember what he did to the
to the prune tree. Not the prune tree, um hm, yeah,
(17:03):
but Jesus did to the tree that a that he
killed from the roof. Hallelujah. It was supposed to be
yielding fruit for them to eat, but Jesus cursed it. Hallelujah.
Fig tree it was. It was supposed to be yielding fruit,
(17:26):
but it wasn't yielding fruit, and Jesus cursed it. They
were supposed to be in the temple helping the people
with their with what they needed to bring a proper
sacrifice before the Lord, doing the harveard during the Sabbath,
(17:47):
during the feast, but they were stealing from the people. Uh,
they were. They were cheating the people. And Jesus went
into the temple and turned over the money tables and
took in the scourge and beat hallelujah. He was not
(18:09):
pleased with what was going on in the temple. Hallelujah.
These are all warnings before the end, when the end
is not yet. The end is not yet, but yet
we're being warned by God this obedience. Listen, Sange, listen,
(18:35):
this obedience is as the sin of witchcraft. So when
you disobey the word of God, you are actually operating
in witchcraft. You can do not agree with me all
you want to, but the word is in the word.
Look it up for yourself. You're acting like a witch.
(18:58):
You're acting like a warlock. Now, acting like somebody that's
ungodly over to God. Two Timothy second Dessalonians two and
one says this now we beseech or in sweet or
(19:19):
we beg you. Paul was saying, we beg you, brothern
by the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, by our
gathering together. Unto him, he was begging them to heed
to the warnings. He even told him, don't be shaken
(19:44):
by spirit or by word, for the end is not yet.
There had to be a great falling away, then the
lawless one would be appear. Don't you know? People are
falling away way from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some
are refusing to go back to church. Some are refusing
(20:09):
to be obedient to the scripture. The scripture today's it
out plainly what we should be doing. It tells us
not to forsake their sibling of us together and when
and the manner of some else don't forsake. To assemble
(20:31):
yourself together is for the edifying of the saints, and
so we can learn and we do well. Sometime when
we get on these media broadcasts and we listen to
the Word of God, sometimes I'm gonna be honest with you,
(20:54):
we're not paying attention. We want to be able to
say that I went to church today, but you're not
paying attention to what's going on. The Word is being ministered,
the Word is being preached, and you're doing other things.
You're walking away, you're doing other things. I know because
I've been guilty of it too. It's a unique opportunity
(21:18):
to do what you want to do and then act
like you're being like you're being a tentive to the
word of God. But God sees. God knows what you
God knows exactly what you're doing. He knows the intent
of your heart. He knows what you're paying attention to.
He knows what you're not coming together. We're talking about
(21:43):
summer fruit. The fruit that have come to is supposedly
come to its maturity. Come on, now, come to its
maturity and ready, I mean not getting ready, but being
ready to receive. See by God, when he comes. We
(22:03):
just ministered that it's gonna be like the days of Noah.
And the Bible says that in thirty seven thirty eight
of Matthew twenty four, that it came upon them suddenly
the floods came up. They didn't have the time to
go to that boat and knock on the door. It
(22:25):
was all of a sudden the waters rose and they drowned, just.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Like it was the other day in Texas, that that
river all of a sudden, just that soon overflow his banks.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Cars were stuck over twenty I heard, I seen on it.
It was over twenty four rbs that was swept down
the river, including their families. Do we want to be
caught off guard all because about disobedience? Go over to God,
(23:04):
look here, hallelujah. Paul speaks to the Thessalonians, not about their
rejection of him as a messiah, talking about Jesus coming
to him now through repentance. He wasn't talking to them
about them rejecting Jesus come to him through repentance, asking
(23:27):
Jesus to come into their hearts and not just be
their savior, but he was speaking to them asking of
Jesus to come into their hearts. Hallelujah, and be their teacher,
be the Lord. It's one thing that asks Jesus to
(23:50):
receive Jesus as savior. Yes he died for your sins.
Yes he died for the sins of the world. Reads
your Bible all that will receive him his death, burial
and resurrection and resurrection raised from the dead. The Holy
Spirit will also raise you up what from dead works
(24:19):
Chapter fourteen of John. He said, the comforter will come,
who will teach you all things, who will tell you
all things that I have said, Who will bring those
things to your remembrance that I have said, And he
will guide you into all truth. And he will tell
you of things that you don't even know about. Come on,
(24:44):
Jesus is more than just savior. He is your master teacher.
But you have to be a tender. It's like a kid,
a child in a classroom. Instead of being attentive to
what the teachers, he's back there being distracted or being
a distraction. Hello, somebody and all he got to show
(25:07):
for what is an attendance record? You ever look at
a child the fourth card, and his attendance record was immaculate.
But he suffered in subjects subject areas. He's something in Man,
he's something in English. He's suffering in history, he's suffering
in social studies. All these different things for various reasons.
(25:33):
That are kingdom principles, kingdom behavior that we suffer in
because we are distracted, because we not we don't subject
ourselves under the mighty hand of God, humble ourselves. We
(25:56):
don't make ourselves subject to the Master teacher and his teaching.
He told us to study, to show ourselves a prove
and to God working in that need. Now I'm talking
about summer fruit, fruit that is ready to be pulled.
Come on, saints, hallelujah. Time after time and again hallelujah.
(26:24):
New mercies had been shown to the people, but there
was no change. How many times you can, let's speak
talking about ourselves. Can you remember about you? I remember
about me? How many times have I been born about
doing something wrong? And I continue to do it wrong?
(26:51):
I speak to myself like that. How many times God
has warned you about this hooks? And I find myself
in Lord, please forget. I need your help to get
out of it. Now many of the things that I
used to do I don't do anymore, by the grace
of God. But I had to find myself being subject
(27:13):
to listening what God had to say about my disobedience. See,
you have to learn how to eat the whole road.
What does that mean, Pastor Hooks. You can't just live
out one scripture. You need to read both sides of it.
Back in the day, back when he was talking about
the whole road, it was written. The word was written
(27:34):
on parchments and they were rolled up, hallelujah, and it
was written on both sides. So you had to read
both sides. You can't just read one scripture. You need
to read the whole thing, hallelujah, the good, the bad,
(27:56):
and the ugly. It would bring things into focus and
hopefully you will see yourself in there somewhere and allow
the Holy Spirit to speak to you about your injustices,
your lack, your disobedience. And the best thing you can
do about somebody else is get yourself clean. So you
(28:19):
can pray for them and pray a righteous prayer. Don't
pray God to give them. God help them. They can
be your enemy, they can be your bloods worn enemy.
But you pray God to touch them, kill them, deliver them. Jesus,
(28:42):
God did that for us. He came to us while
we will yet sinner Us and Christ died for what
the ungodly. And then Jesus turn around and prayed that
our faith fell not glory to God. He told Peter, Peter,
(29:05):
you don't deny me. Three times, No he ain't, noing ain't.
But Jesus prayed that his faith fell not. Peter went
back to doing what he was doing before. Efficient when
Jesus rose in the day, he went and got it.
God has not forgotten you. God has not forgotten me.
(29:26):
This is God right now warning us. Are we gonna
heed to the warning that Amos gave to Israel? Glory
to God. Don't be like the summer fruit that has
not matured. Glory to God. Matthew eleven, listen, woe unto
(29:49):
thee choice, woe unto thee best say that for if
the mighty works which were done in you had been
done in tyree and sodden, they would have repented long
ago in sack causing ashes. Now see, there's gonna be
(30:09):
some that won't get this chance that you get hallelujah,
and they would have repented. But I say unto you,
it shall be more tolerable for Tyree and sod On
at the day of judgment. Then for you, those of
(30:29):
you who are that will not listen to correction, and
that includes me and Thou. Comprennion, which are exalted unto heaven,
shall be brought down to hell. For if the mighty
(30:50):
works which have been done, indeed have been done in Soddom,
it would have remained until this day. Simply tells me
that some didn't get the chance that you get. But
I say unto you that it shall be more tolerable
(31:13):
for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment
than for thee That's what Jesus told them. In matth
threw eleven, hallelujah. Look at it twenty five now. At
that time Jesus answered and said, I thank the Old Father,
(31:38):
Lord of Heaven and Earth, because thou hast hid these
things from the wise and the proof. Wait a minute,
before you think you're gonna lean to your own understanding,
and before you think you're so smart that you can
you don't have to listen to the word of God
and still get in come on, somebody, I know. I
(32:02):
know I'm telling the truth. The truth can be. You
can read the word of God you said, and you
can say, I don't agree with it what I feel
this way, I feel that with it. That don't mean
a hill of beans how you feel. It's what thus
said the Lord that counts. And you ask for God
(32:23):
to have mercy, He's having it right now because he's
warning us. He's warning us. These calamities that you see
right now, they're not just a God is not just
allowing them to happen just so people can be hurt.
Glorver to God verse twenty six. You know verse twenty five,
(32:48):
and said for the prudent, and has revealed them unto babes.
What is he talking about? What are you talking about?
These things that were once hidden from the wires, and
the who have been revealed to bathe those who have
a those who have an innocence about themselves that want
to hear the truth, those that have resolved themselves to
(33:12):
be humbled. This is an intentional state of mind. I'm
gonna shut my mouth and I'm gonna learn to listen.
I'm gonna learn to allow God to lead me into righteousness.
This is a conscious state of mind that you got
(33:35):
to make it to yourself. Now are is We just
got to read the damn Michael. Is the truth offensive?
Does it hurt? Sometimes? Yes? It hurts because God is
calling you out of your mess. He's shining a light
on your mess. And what we tend to do is
(33:59):
want to give an I'm not excusing myself from this preaching.
This comes to me first. I have to get up
early in the morning and pray for myself as well.
Over to God. Twenty seven. All things are delivered unto me.
This is Jesus talking. All things are delivered unto me
(34:21):
of my Father. And no man knoweth the Son, but
the Father. Neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son.
And he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Whoever
whoever received the word of God through Jesus Christ, are
(34:44):
the ones who knows the Father and the Son. In
John chapter seventeen, the prayer Jesus prayer, he said, Father,
I've given them thy word as you have given it
to me. Now you're a GLORI And then why because
they knew his words he gave it to the disciples.
(35:05):
Now those of you who have received the word of promise,
who have received the word, you have enlightened to the truth.
You cannot say you didn't know. Even if you are
distracted and you don't pay attention, and you have the
ability to pay attention, you cannot say you didn't know
(35:26):
because you had access to it. You cannot say you
didn't know because you didn't study. He told you we
got two saints. We got twenty four hours in a day.
Twenty four hours in a day. We're supposed to get
(35:47):
eight hours of sleep. That's what they say. The intelligent
people say eight hours of sleep. And that leaves what?
That leaves what? Sixteen hours? Right? You work eight hours? Right,
so that leads another what eight hours? You work eight hours,
(36:09):
you sleep eight hours. That leaves eight hours and you
mean out of that other eight hours, you can't find
time to study your Bible and talk to God. Something's
wrong with that. Something's wrong with that. Hallelujah, and the
(36:29):
Holygost is moving me to say this too. You can't
find time to give God a gift after he's blessed
you with everything that you've got, life, strength, health, You
can't take time to give God a gift of your presence.
(36:49):
You can't time to get the Michael said, a man
robbed God. Yes, and ties and often we robbed God.
We have robbed God and ties and often. And that's
(37:11):
not always money. That's your time, that's the work you do.
And yes, it's finances to your talents. And in many
ways we have robbed God. We have not given him back.
Don't you know if you give him back ten percent?
Ten cent of a dollar is ten cents, most of
(37:33):
you will throw ten cents that are on the ground
or throw it in your your console of your car,
and won't ever think of it again. And you won't
give ten percent of your time to God where it's meaningful,
can do something. It's laying in your console, it's sitting
(37:59):
in your console's sitting on your floor, and you won't
give it to God. That's something, that's something else, that
is something else. Ten we won't give it to God.
Now look at this, many of us will give our
(38:23):
time ten percent of our time to television programming, sports, news, politics,
on the phone, gossiping, listen to everybody else but God,
our own affairs, own business, our cars, our homes, doing
(38:45):
what we want to do. I won't give ten percent
to God. We'll give our monies, don't disrespect to Amazon,
will buy after buy to buy. We'll give our moneys
to eBay, buy it online, grocery shopping, bargain shopping, shopping
(39:11):
for this, shopping for that. And won't give ten percent
to God, won't give ten percent to demand, not the
man of God, to the ministry that feeds you spiritual things.
That's a shame. And we put it in our console,
(39:31):
or we put it in a jar, and we put
it someplace and we forget about it. Come on, ladies,
how many times if you looked in a person found
a bunch of change. H I know I'm telling the
truth because I'm looking at me. I've put change intentionally
(39:52):
in my console. So in case I need a quarter
for this or that. You know how it goes. You
get someplace and all you need is a quarter, go
to all this. You need a quarter to get that basket,
to go to a park downtown, You need some money
to put in that meter. We'll store it up for
(40:15):
everything else, but we won't give it to God. We
won't give obedience to God. Were talking about super fruit, y'all.
We should be maturing these things. We should be maturity.
The Bible talks about them. You don't ask you. You
don't have to add what do I need to do?
(40:36):
We need your Bible. It will tell you that way, guess.
But if you don't want to argue with people, read
it for yourself, then argue with God. Some of y'all
scared to do that. But you rather argue with other
(40:56):
people when they tell you what the Bible says, and
they tell you to go look it up for yourself,
and you won't do it? Why because you know it's
the truth. You let that inner man tell you what
to do, that fleshly man, your feelings, your emotion, your
pride tell you what to do. Don't listen to that.
Let them if they want you to know it. Let tempica.
(41:18):
Let God come tell you. You don't want God to come
tell you. I'm telling you He might bring wrath with it.
He might bring judgment with him. It might be your
last day. It might be heart attack, might be stroke,
might be a wreck. Remember the man that had the
barn that was filled with plenty, Then he decided he
(41:42):
wanted to build another barn to put some most junk up.
He said, Oh, thou fool thy souls. The crime of
you this state. You should have been giving us stuff
away to help those in need. No, you're stowing up
for yourself. Lord, help us on today. All things are
(42:03):
delivered under me, Jesus said, And no man knows the son,
but the father, and the father of the son saved
the son. And he to whom the son revealed to him.
Christ have to reveal the Father to you. That's what
we do with the studying of the Word. That's why
we come together. So Christ can reveal who the Father is,
the nature of the Father, and empower you and empower
(42:27):
you to be a doer of the Word and not
just a hero. You can't just do it on your own.
You need to be empowered by the spirit. Hallelujah. The
same spirit that raised Christ when the dead, will also
raise you up from dead. Hallelujah. In verse twenty eight,
come unto me, all ye that labor. This is what
(42:50):
Jesus said, Come unto me, all ye that labor. And
what are heavy laden? Why are you laden? Heaven? Because
you in disobedience, you've taken your own lives into your
own hands, and you expect God to take you along
with him At the day of judgment. God help us, Jesus.
(43:21):
We're supposed to be summer fruit, were supposed to be
mature fruit all year in labor and the heavy lady.
And I will give you rest. Now. See this rest
comes at a cost. When you rest in his promises,
when you rest in his word, it's not gonna look
(43:42):
pretty all the time. When he tells you to do
good to those who are doing bad to you, and
notn't gonna feel good, but it's resting that That mean
God got your back. God is your avenger. He will repay.
When he tells you to pray for those who persecute
(44:02):
you in chenstly God, then chesty slammed up my name.
Then chestly he tells you to do. That mean you're
putting your trust in God. That's God's rest rest and
assured that he got is handled. See one thing about that.
God knows that what that person is doing. But God
is concerned about that soul too. And at that time,
you not God wants to see that person saves you,
(44:29):
not caring about that. And when you yield unto God,
glory to God. God is more mindful, not just about you,
but that person as well, that soul halleujah, and he
will give you rest in his word, because why it's
(44:49):
God that does the worst. Verse twenty nine. Take my
yoke upon you, Take my yoke up on you. That
thing that draws you together, the love that draws you together.
See when two when to a two yoke of oxen
worked together, they had a yoke on them. That talk
(45:12):
kept them working together as a team. So they're being
stepped with one another. God calls us to have love,
one to the other. Go over to God, and it's
a it's a love, it's a it's a spiritual connection
that keeps us hallelujah, not being selfish, but esteeming others
(45:35):
more highly than ourselves. When yat my yoke, take my
yoke upon you and learn of me. Subject yourself to
some study time. Subject yourself to some study time. And
out of that eight hours we talked about that you
(45:55):
have left over after working and after sleeping, make you
some study time to study. Give with God. Pray God,
talk to me. God, I need you empower me to
be do a word and watch God work. Learn of me,
(46:15):
for I am meet and lowly in heart. Wait a minute,
I meet. If you go before the Lord and learn
of him and listen and to be obedient. It's much
easier than being dragged. It's much easier than being punished
as they were with me, as they were in Israel
(46:41):
back in ancient time, because of their disobedience. God is
a loving god. When you subject yourself, when you humble
yourself in the mighty hand of God, he will exalt
you in due time. He said, take my yok and
learn of me, For I am meeking lowly in hearts.
(47:02):
My heart is toward God says, my heart is toward you,
not against you. But if you keep on doing what
you're doing, his heart will be against you, and ye
shall find rest for your souls. How many of you
grieving and crying about circumstances that have hit you right
(47:24):
in your doorsteps, situations that have hit you personally, and
they're wearing heavy on your heart and your soul, right,
and you find yourself thinking about them day and night,
night and day too many times? Right? And he say,
(47:46):
if you take me and learn of me, you will
find rest for your soul. Why Because the Bible says
First Peter chapter five verses. He says, after you have
humbled yourself under the mighty hand of God that he was.
He said, cast your cares upon him, for he cares
(48:07):
for you. Give it to God. God. Just thought keep
coming at me, and it's making me depressed. It's making
me sad, so sad that I can't keep my mind
off of it. Or every time I would be happy,
(48:27):
something comes to make me sad. And it's hard for
me to do the thing that you want me to
do because I'm not seeing any hope. But the Bible says,
even as the prodigal son was in the hall pen,
the hogs eating rhyme, go over the God. The Bible said,
(48:49):
he came to himself, hollylujah, while he was in the
hall pen, and he said, I can go to my
father's house. Even the urbans eat better than this. Hallelujah.
See it matters not, hallelujah. I know it's hard. I
(49:13):
spent six years in the penitentiary. Do I wish I
could get those years back? No? Why? Because I learned
something about God then I never would have learned any
other way. Sometimes we gotta go through something. Sometimes they
(49:34):
need to go through something. Hallelujah. Israel went through four
hundred years of slavery. They came out of Egypt for
another forty years in the wilderness, and not one of
them but one. Caleb went over to Jordan. Everyone that
(49:57):
came out of Egypt died in the wilderness. US. We
don't want that to happen to our loved one. I
told the Lord this about my son. I wanted him
to have a college education. I wanted him to be
(50:17):
like everybody else, to be successful, marry, have a house,
good job, and all of that. But I said, Father,
I don't care about none of that. I want you
to save my son's soul. That's what I'm concerned about.
Only thing I said, do whatever you need to do
to get his soul saved. That's what I That's what
(50:43):
I became concerned about his soul being saved. Why because
there's too much going on. I would have been my
head would have been spinning thinking about this. God, God,
this happened being in this thing. Then not danger the people.
He would have been seen with the people who was
messing with all I wanted wasn't saved. Hallelujah. What matters
(51:09):
moved to you? The soul of the thing were talking
about summer fruit. Are we mature? Are we still thinking that? Well,
my son, my son, and my daughter got a saved being.
My son, my daughter got a big house. They got
a four bedroom house over in the hills Halloween. They
work at freaking fracting over here, and they are next
(51:33):
in line for presidency and all of that glory to God, hallelujah.
But have not known God as their as their father,
and do not know Jesus as their lord, our savior.
Talking about summer fruit, are they mature yet? Are they
(51:56):
on the vine getting ready to be pulled down for harvest?
And the fruit is bad? Glory to God. The last scripture,
he said, for my yoke is easy, and my burdens
are light. Hallelujah. Look here. The burdens Jesus offers us
(52:22):
is to believe and obey, because he has already paid
the price. He's already paid the price. So what are
we worried about? What are we worried about? He said,
don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow has enough. Even it's terrified.
(52:44):
He already knows what we have need of. But do
we know what we have need of? The Bible says no,
you don't. So he gives us the holy ghosts who
make it innercessions for us. Why because he knows, but
we have need of and he searches the mind of God.
(53:09):
Therefore he knows, he knows the plan that God has
for you. So he intercedes for those things that will
help you to be that what God has called to
to be. Last two Scriptures, Romans ten eight nine. But
(53:37):
what said the word is Note even in thy mouth
the word, and in thy heart it is the word
of faith which we preach. Paul's telling them which we preach. Hallelujah.
We're all ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He said,
(54:02):
if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ,
and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Don't you want
when God gets ready to pull that fruit down, that
(54:24):
he finds it prepared to be harvest. Don't you want
when he pools he calls you by name, you're caught
up to be with him in the air. Don't you
want to give your children and your children's children, your neighbors,
and even your enemies the best opportunity to be caught
(54:47):
up to meet him in the air. Hallelujah. We gotta
stop leaning to our own understanding. We gotta stop giving
in to our feelings and emotions that are not governed
by the Word of See. God gave us these feelings
and emotion, but without the governing power of the Word
(55:09):
of God, they run rapid. They will lead you right
into it. I can't say it like I used to,
but with Gasolene underworld, they would lead you right into
a fire. With Gasolene underworld, your feelings and emotions if
(55:30):
not governed by the spirit of God, which is the
Word of God. Hallelujah. Too many times we have gotten
upset and did something that we know we shouldn't have did. Hey, man,
I know I'm telling the truth. Too many times our
(55:51):
feelings have taken us unchecked and thought things that we
shouldn't have thought when we found out, Oh, I surely
thought they did that. Bi. Well, I'm glad I didn't
say nothing, but I sure thought it. Too many times
our feelings and emotions have failed us, But the Word
(56:11):
of God never fails. He's looking for fruit that is prepared,
that is mature, fruit that is mature if you want
to make it through the end. When you called up
(56:37):
to be in the air, Holly with him. We got
to be prepared, We got to be ready. And the
time is now. The time is now. All these warning science,
don't be distracted. The time is now. Pray for your enemies,
(57:04):
pray for yourselves. Find some time out of that eight
hours to get with God and ask God to talk
to you. Ask God to talk to you, and he
will and he will. Father. It is my son, Jesus name,
(57:29):
that we don't be like the fruit that Amos was
talking about that was should have been mature but was not.
We don't want you to find us and worms in
our heart. Our heart's full of corruption and deceit. Now
(57:58):
our appearance a'm that of good. But you look at
the heart. Help us, Lord on today, reveal to us
Lord what we really look like. And our hope Lord
is that many will come to repentance and seek your faith.
(58:19):
Hallelujah in the mighty name of Jesus. If you pray
that prayer on today, hallelujah, Glory to God. Act up
on it. Do what you need to do to make
your calling Electionshire study you, do what you need to do.
Read your Bible and do what it tells you to do.
Pray on it. Quit taking it for granted that you saved.
(58:41):
You can't do that, hallelujah. And those of you who
are not saved, who don't, who are straddling offense, who
don't know if you are not, I invite you to
go through the sinner's prayer with me and invite Jesus
into your heart to be on Martin save you. This
various a Roman's ten nine and ten actually real. And
(59:08):
if that is what you want to want to be saved,
and you're tired of guessing at it, you're tired of
thinking that you're saved, and you know you don't do
what God tells you to do, you need to while
I'm asking you to allow us to pray with you
(59:29):
on just on today. If this is something that you want,
repeat after me. Father, I have sein and comes short
of your glory. I believe that Jesus is your son
who hung bled and died for me. I believe that
(59:53):
he is a son of God, and I believe that
the Holy Spirit raised him up from the dead would
also raised me up for the dead. After three days
he was raised up from the dead. Come into my
heart and be my lord, my master teaches as well
(01:00:14):
as my Savior, help me to be attentive to your
word and not giving myself over to distractions. In the
Mighty name of Jesus, Now, Lord, I asked that you
would give me your spirit, let it abide with me,
(01:00:38):
so it may guide me into truth and teach me
as you have a plan for me. Father, in Jesus' name,
I pray, Amen and amen. If you pray that prayer,
as the Bible said, if you confess with your mouth
the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that
God raised the dead, God shall be saved. It's just
(01:00:58):
that simple, rested up to God. If you yield yourself
to be taught by God through the Holy Ghost, he
will teach you what to do and how to do.
You don't have to try to think it out and
figure it out. God had already got a plan for
you how to deal with all of the adversity that
(01:01:19):
are going to come your way. See, you're gonna go
through adversity, but you might as well let give them
to God and let God deal with him. Put trying
to deal with him yourself. It's a much a heartache
and paign. It's because if at least God knows how
to drive away to tears. God knows how to heal
(01:01:40):
a broken heart. God knows how to heal a wounded soul.
The world that the world will power it upon you
and keep making it worse. If you did this, if
you said this with us, Jesus is in you. Right now.
Now I'm gonna ask you to do something. We have
