Speaker 1 (00:03):
I came home to to the Hallylujah. Thank you Jesus.
Welcome to the Word of Life John one fourteen Church
located in Troy, Alabama. I'm Pastor Ronnie hooks up the

(00:24):
Word of Life. Word of Life John one fourteen Church.
Excuse me. We thank God for each of you that
are joining us today via Facebook. It will be on
our YouTube channel as well Instagram and Hope Gospel Radio
Station all of those who will be listening and on

(00:45):
iHeart Radio. We thank God for each of you and
other platforms that this will be aired on as well.
To the glory of God. Our endeavor is to show
forth the Word of God being made flesh, and our behavior,
our thoughts and our imaginations and all that we say,

(01:05):
do and are before God so we can show forth
the image of God in this present world. Again, we
thank God for each of you that are joining us today. Halleluja.
We want to share a little something with you before
I go in today's sermon that the Lord has given me.
We just recently the other day for a week, we

(01:25):
were on a prayer summit with the prayer group that
we are with with El Bethel Church of God in
Christ located at Saint Louis, Missouri, under the leadership of
Bishop Nelson Benjamin Watts Junior. And it was a great
occasion where the Lord visited us were we came as

(01:47):
a group to the presence of the Lord, and the
Lord visited us greatly. He inspired us two not just
to be hearers of the Word, but doers of the
world and hearkening to his voice. His word is his voice. Hallelujah,
and allow the Spirit of God to help us to

(02:10):
be doers. So I want to invite any of you
that can go to El Bethel's page church page and
find the number for the prayer line and come and
join us and get on there. Next year we plan
on going to Orlando, and we're inviting families from all over.

(02:33):
We have people from thirty thirty to thirty three or
thirty two states that are part of the line. And
you'll welcome any race, creed, color, or any sort to
join us and be with us as a part of
that line. So we thank God for that, and we

(02:53):
look for God to bless us as a result of
the knowledge and the wisdom that we've gained and the
new mindset that we're going to take into the future
as well. Glory be to God. All right, let's have
a word of prayer and we're going to bring a

(03:16):
word to you today. Lord, we thank you again, we
bless you, and we lift you up. Lord, help me
to decrease, that you will increase the spirit of wisdom
and spirits of knowledge, understanding the spirit of the Living God,
the Holy Spirit, how the spirit of truth speak through
this vessel of clay, and that the people will receive

(03:41):
that which you have for them, and not myself from
bault with a price. I'm not my own, so I
surrender my body to you God is a living sacrifice
to be used for your glory and for the blessing
of the people. We're buying the works of the flesh,

(04:03):
and we rebuke the devil on every hand. We rebuke
the will of God. That we rebuke the will of Satan.
Excuse me, and we're asked that the will of God
be done in and through us. And we thank you
and we give you praise in Jesus name. Amen, and
Amen again, we thank you all for joining us on today. Hallelujah.

(04:28):
I want to talk to you today from a subject
that is probably one of the most important and part
of what we learned in the press summit that we
will hear going forth in this day and time. Any
of us that are paying attention to the signs of

(04:48):
the time and what's going on today in this present world,
we know that the signs are all around us of
Jesus being soon to come. We know that he's coming
back for a church and watch this, without spot or
winkle or any such thing. He's coming back for a

(05:09):
churches that, by the Word should be sanctified, prepared for
him as the bridegroom, a bride that is prepared to
be received by Jesus to go with him. I can't
stress this enough. He wants us to be prepared. This

(05:32):
is the This is the preparation place of preparation life time.
God has given us time and life to prepare ourselves,
or rather to be prepared by the spirit of truth,
to go with God. It can't be your way. This
is not a fast food restaurant. This it can't be

(05:57):
uh involved with your feelings or emotion. It has to
be God's way, and God has provided for us away. Hallelujah.
That being Jesus to Christ, Hallelujah. I want to talk

(06:19):
to you today on the subject that you need a
preacher to hear. You need a preacher to hear. This
is biblical. You need a preacher to hear. Okay, what
do you mean here? The definition that God has given

(06:43):
me to give to you all so you can understand
is to perceive, and to perceive means to recognize, to discern,
to envision or understand, to become aware of, to know
so you can identify with Hallelujah. To hear is to

(07:10):
be informed. So God wants us to be informed of
what is going to take to be cleansed and prepared
to be a bride to go with his son Jesus.
He wants to give us the instructions. He wants us
to give us what we need to prepare ourselves. And

(07:33):
He's given us even the Holy Spirit, who will guide
us into the truth, who will teach us those things
that Jesus has said, and who will bring to our
remembrance those things that he said. He don't want you
to be fooled. He does not want you to fall,
He does not want you to be left behind. He

(07:55):
wants you to be prepared, to be enlightened, to understand
what it's going to take hallelujah. So he sends us
preachers hallelujah in this case, so you can recognize the

(08:16):
voice or the word of God. The voice of God
or the word of God. SI, they are the same.
The word of God is the voice of God. I
asked this question before. If God were standing in front
of you in the flesh, and we all say that
we love God and we reverenced God, and if he
was here that we wouldn't have no problem doing what

(08:38):
he says to do. If He was standing right in
front of you right now, he asks you to do
some of the things that the Bible tells you to do. Hallelujah.
Would you change your tone because he's hearing the flesh
or would you do like you usually do? Think about it, hallelujah.
Turn with me to some scriptures. We're gonna we're gonna

(09:01):
try to teach this thing the way the Lord has
given it to me. To help you understand about your hearing.
You need a preacher to hear. You need a preacher
to hear. Sometimes we listen but we don't hear. Sometime
we're there but we're not paying attention so we can hear.

(09:24):
Our mind is else's place other places. We're being distracted
instead of paying attention to what the preacher or the
teacher is saying. We're being distracted doing other things, and
we esteem those things more important at the time than hearing.

(09:45):
You may not agree, but then hearing the word of God.
Because we associate the word of God with the voice
of God. The word of God is the voice of God.
I'm gonna stress that as much as possible, because I
want you to understand what we're leaving on the table,
David said, God, he prepares the table before us in

(10:06):
the pleasure of our enemies, and he annoyance our head
with oil that I coupled overflow. So God has prepared
for us what we need. Hallelujah. As we go through
the value of the shadow of death, hallelujah, He's already
prepared more than enough. I want you to go with me.

(10:27):
There's a parable in Mark chapter four. Mark chapter four.
I want you to go with me. If you don't
have your Bibles, at least write it down. At least
write it down. I want you to read, and I
want this is for your good. I want you to

(10:48):
read it for yourselves, because in reading it for yourself,
the Holy Spirit will minister to you, because it's you
that need persuading. I'm already persuaded. I'm already persuaded to
be to go to heaven by the way that God
has ordained. And see I don't have a particular I've

(11:13):
got to hear it from a particular personal preacher. The
Word is the word. If it's the Word of God,
I'm gonna listen to it, whether you ministrate or somebody
else ministrate. See that the person who gives it is
not the one that's in power. The power is in God,
who is the Word himself. Hallelujah. Mark chapter four. We're

(11:39):
gonna start at verse three. It starts out with hearken,
which is here hearken, behold therewire out a sword that
if you haven't known by now, this is the parable
about the sword that Jesus taught his disciples or those
that were with him. Hearken, listen here he said, Here behold,

(12:05):
there were went out a sword to soul, and it
came to pass as he sold. Some fell by the way,
and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up,
and some fell on stony ground where it had not

(12:25):
much earth and immediately it sprang up because it had
no depth, no depth of earth. But when the sun
was up, it was scorched. And because it had no root,

(12:46):
it withered away, and some fell among thorns, and the
thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
And others on good ground and did yield fruit that
sprung up and increased and brought forth some thirty, some sixty,

(13:12):
and some one hundred. And he said, unto them, he
that have ears, you got two ears. Right, he that
had ears to hear, let him hear. We're talking about hearing.
We're not talking about listening. We're talking about hearing, to perceive,

(13:35):
to discern, to understand, to know, to be identified with
the voice of God or the purpose of God, of
what God's instructions is. So there be no mistake, because
what's a stake. Your soul is at stake in this matter. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

(13:55):
Now that's part of the parable of the sore of
the seed. Now I want you to go with me
to Romans chapter ten. We're gonna go a little bit
more in depth into this hearing thing. This hearing thing. Well,
we'll come back to the sore of the seed. We'll

(14:17):
come back Chapter ten of Romans. Chapter ten of Romans.
I told you might need your pencil and paper so
you can write this down, but for your Bible, so
you can read it for yourself, because I know without
a doubt, and the spirit speaks to me. He's what
God is waiting to speak to each of us as well.

(14:41):
He's no respective person. Hallelujah, Glory to God. If you're
with me. Romans, Chapter ten, Romans, Chapter ten. We're going
to start at verse five, Verse five. For Moses, describe

(15:07):
the righteousness which is of the law. We're talking about
righteousness that exascination, talking about right, doing right, the right
that belongs to God. For Moses, describe it the righteousness
which is of the law, that the man which do
it those things shall live by them, shall live by them. Hallelujah.

(15:36):
But the righteousness which is of faith. Speaketh on this wise. Listen,
now say not in thine heart, which is, don't say
to don't ask yourself who shall assin into heaven. Don't
ask yourself who shall assin into heaven? That is, to

(15:59):
bring Christ down from above Verse eight, verse seven, Or
don't ask yourself who shall descend into the deep, that
is to bring Christ up again from the dead. Don't
ask yourself that, but what said the word is noth

(16:21):
thee even in thy mouth and in thy heart. That
is the word of faith which we preach. So that
you have to have an ear to hear what the
preacher is saying to you. Hallelujah. The word that we

(16:44):
preach of faith is being preached to you. To go
into your heart, hallelujah. Verse nine that if thou shall
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe
in thy heart that God has raised him from the dead,

(17:05):
thou shalt be saved. Let me say that again when
we go out to witness. This is what we administer
to the people that want to receive Jesus Christ as
Lord and Savior Romans ten nine and ten. If thou
shall confess with thy mouth, open your mouth and confess

(17:29):
Jesus the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart
that God has raised them from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. For with the heart and man believe it.
Unto what Moses said, the law gives unto righteousness, unto it,
unto it God He's going to take you to it
because you cannot do it on your own. Hallelujah unto righteousness,

(17:54):
and confession is made unto salvation. Salvation is another word
for deliverance from your own ways, your own stinking thinking.
Lean out to your own understanding in all of your ways.
Acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. You can't
do this by thinking your way or not. Let me

(18:15):
shall put it. Qualify this not being led by the
spirit to speak what God gives you to speak. You
can't even speak God's own word out of place. You
have to be led of the spirit when to speaking,
when not to speak. It's with loving kindness. God has

(18:38):
drawn us, and we need to be attentive and obedient
to the Spirit as it moves us in what to do,
how to do, and when to do. Go over to God.
Hallelujah eleven for the scripture saying whosoever believeth on Him
shall not be ashamed. Remember you believe in your heart.

(19:02):
Hallelujah unto righteousness, meaning that you put the word of
God God in your heart. You start believing on that
the old things that you used to believe on Hallelujah,
I'm gonna drink to get over my sorrows. Now read
the Word to get over my sorrows, and I pray
to God to help me with my attitude about what
I'm experiencing. Before I used to be a busy body

(19:27):
in other people's affairs, talking about them. Now I take
it to the Lord and ask God to help whomever
rather than talk about them behind their back. Where I
used to be, go where I wanted to go, experiencing
whatever was there. Now I'm lad of the spirit. Hallelujah,

(19:51):
For there is no difference between the jew and the Greek.
Ain't no difference between none of Usluen for the same
Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Now listen here, we're talking about a preacher that will

(20:11):
minister to you this gospel right here. If you call
on the name of Jesus and believe in your heart
that God raised them from the dead, doubts shall be saved,
and He will minister you to you that now that
you are saved. When you get in trouble or you
need him, call on Jesus. Now. This information that you're

(20:39):
hearing now is not just for the ears of your life.
It's not just for the jew but it's for the
Greek Alsho, it's for the Hispanic, it's for the Jamaica,

(21:02):
it's for the Chinese, it's for the Russian, it's for
the Korea, it's for all nations. Anyone that will hear
the word of God, you can call on it. Why
because now you have received the word by hearing from
a preacher, hallelujah. Their significance in the preacher is that

(21:28):
he I don't want to get ahead of myself, that
he's sent by God specifically to give you the truth. Hallelujah.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall here it is again, shall be saved. Whatever you're

(21:49):
going through. Now that you receive Jesus Christ as your
Lord and Savior, you can call on his name, and
he will save you Verse fourteen. How then shall they
call on him whom they have not believed? Hallelujah? At
one time you didn't believe because you didn't know it, hallelujah.

(22:14):
And how shall they believe in him whom they have
not heard? Here we go again. You don't hear God,
but you hear the preacher who gives you the good
news that God gave to him. And how shall they
hear without a preacher. This is what God is saying.

(22:39):
This is not what pastor Hook is saying. This is
not what any of the clergy or the president or
This is what God says needs to happen. He's sending
somebody specifically that has his heart to give you a
word that is going to save your soul. There's two

(23:06):
places after life. There's heaven or hell, and your soul
will end up in one of them if you're not cleansed.
If you're in heaven, received Jesus Christ as your Lord
and save you, and you're not cleansed by the washing
of the water of the Word, so you can be
received when Jesus come, you will not go to heaven.

(23:31):
There is no other way. Hallelujah, Verse fifteen. And how
shall they preach except they be That's why I said, sit,
you need a preacher to hear hallelujah, except they be sent.
They are specifically called by God to be sent to

(23:53):
give you a word, to give you the word of God.
So you will take that word, study that word, and
allow the Word to cleanse you. Hallelujah. As it is written,
How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the

(24:14):
gospel of peace. Now, this gospel of peace gives you
peace with God. You're still gonna go through life. Life
is full of trials and tribulations. Bible even tells us
dure hardship as good soldiers. Many are the affliction of

(24:36):
the righteous, But God delivers us out of them all
you're going to go. As matter of fact, God uses
these trials that are in life as stepping stones when
you go through the fire or when you go through
life situations. It's a perfect time for you to utilize

(24:56):
what has been preached to you if you heard it.
You can take what has been preached to you by
the preacher, if you heard it, and use it to
deal with the situation. And it is counted to you
as righteousness before God. Why because you obey God and
you did it his way. It didn't mean it didn't

(25:19):
It doesn't mean that you're not going to experience pain.
It doesn't mean that you're not going to experience sorrow.
It doesn't mean that you're not going to have to
go through trials and tribulation. But it does mean that
you have peace with God. That's what it just said.
You're gonna have peace with God. And that's what matters

(25:42):
and in me. And it says that God is cleansing
your soul to be received with Him in heaven and
not in the devil's hell. Glory to God, hallelujah. How
beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel
of peace and bring glad tidings of good things? See

(26:08):
our mind concerning what is good is twisted. Hello. That's
why Bible calls us wicked. Everything that look good is
not always good. Hello. Everything that looks good is not
always good for you. It just looks good. But the
Holy Spirit will utilize the word to tell you that

(26:31):
which is good for you, and he will guide you
into it, and he will strengthen you to believe upon
it and do it. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Sixteen. But they have
not all obeyed the gospel. Everybody's not going to obey

(26:53):
the gospel that they hear. Remember Gee preached and he
asked the disciple all of them, all those people left him,
He said, will you leave me to everybody's not going
to receive the word of truth. They have all not

(27:16):
obeyed the gospel. Far as alienas said, Lord, who has
believed our report. Who has believed our report? So then
faith cometh by hearing, Faith cometh by hearing. Got to

(27:36):
have a preacher, faith coming by hearing and hearing by
the word of God. Faith coming by hearing and hearing
by the word of God. But I say, Paul says
to them, have they not heard? Yes, verily their sound

(27:59):
went into all the earth, and their words unto the
ends of the world. This gospel is going to go
out through all of the earth. It's going to be
preached and everywhere. That will not be an opportunity for
anyone to have an excuse not to have the opportunity

(28:23):
to hear the word of God. It's going to go out, Hallelujah.
It's going to go out. So there will not you
will not have You know how we give excuses, Well,
I didn't hear what he said. Weren't you there? You

(28:47):
were sitting right there with everyone else, but you didn't hear.
We allow ourselves to be distracted. And why do you
say that, pastor? You know their extenuating circumstances, Yes, they
are emerging sees when things will draw you away, and
so you can go take care of a benn. But
there and there's a there's a lot of blame to

(29:08):
put on ourselves as well. We'll know that it's good
for us, but we will reject it and allow ourselves
to be distracted. I know this too, because there are
times when I'm tired, don't you know, And and of listening.
No bodyle calls it dull of hearing. And when you

(29:33):
don't hear the word, you don't get the message. You're
not enlightened, you don't get the understanding that you need.
So you can go forth and do what it is
that you're instructed to do. Let's go back. Let's go
back to Mark four. Told you I was gonna give
you the rest of the sword, the parable of the sword.

(29:55):
Look what happens. Go back to Mark fourth, chapter four.
So we found out in Romans ten that's important to
hear the word, and God sends us a preacher. You
need a preacher to hear. You need a preacher to
this is the word of God. You need a preacher
to hear. For all of you that think that you

(30:17):
can do this and not have a preacher in your
life and not belong when the scripture just says you
need a preacher, You need a preacher. There's no other way.
You need a preacher to hear the word. You know,
someone that has the heart of God. For you. I

(30:43):
call preachers after my own heart. It's what the Word says.
They have a heart for God and a heart for
God's people. Go way to God. Okay, Chapter four, let's
pick up at verse eleven. Now Here the disciples heard
the parable that Jesus are given to the people, but

(31:06):
now they won't inquire personally. And he said, unto them
talking about talking about the disciples, unto you, it is
given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God,
the mystery of the Kingdom of God. Those who are
called those who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

(31:27):
are received into the Kingdom of God. Kingdom principles apply.
Kingdom principles apply. But unto them that are out and
without all these things are done in parables. In other words,
those that are not in the Kingdom of God, those

(31:50):
who have not received Jesus Christ, they only received the parables.
But they don't understand. They don't have an ear to hear.
For God is saying they can't understand it because the
Word of God is spiritually discerned or spiritually. It takes
the spirit of God to help you to understand what

(32:11):
he's talking about. You can only hear it, but you
can't understand it, so they only receive the parables the
story verse twelve. That seeing they have seen and not
perceive that we're perceived hearing, they may hear and not understand.

(32:37):
Least at any time they should be converted because what
he's saying here. With the ear to hear what the
preacher is telling you, you will get in understanding, and
the Holy Spirit convicts your old ways, tells you that, hey,
that what you're doing is not the will of God.

(33:00):
It's wrong, and if you keep on doing it, you're
not going to be eligible to go to heaven. It
tells you that in a way that you can understand it.
Hearing that they may hear and not understand these at

(33:23):
any time they should be converted and their sins should
be forgiven them. That's the down that's the downside to
not hearing the word of God is you don't get
an understanding. And if you don't get an understanding, you
don't have the opportunity to be converted because you don't

(33:44):
understand what's going on. And when you're not converted, you're
not forgiven. Your sins are not forgiven. Hallelujah. And he said,
unto them talking about the disciples, know ye not this parable?
And how then will ye know all parables the sore

(34:06):
so of the word. It's not always money that we sow.
I need y'all to listen, real good. It's not always
money that is sold. The soul. The preacher souls the
word into your spirit. Hallelujah. Your spirit feeds your soul.

(34:27):
What is the thing of God? Your spirit bearst witnes
with the spirit of God that you are son of God,
and keeps you reminded, keeps you encouraged to keep moving forward,
keep trusting in God, even though you go through trials
and tribulations, go through sufferings. Hallelujah. Fifteen. And there are

(34:53):
they that, and there are they by the wayside, And
these are they that fail by the wayside, whether the
word is sown. He's describing the parable now, the ones
that fell by the wayside. But when they have heard

(35:13):
Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the words that were
sown in their hearts. That's that seed that was sown
by the wayside. The word did not get into their hearts. Hallelujah,

(35:35):
It was quickly snatched away by satan hallelujah. Sixteen. And
these are like they, likewise, which are sown on stony ground, who,
when they had heard the word, immediately received it with
gladness okay, and have no route in themselves. So hnt

(36:04):
so to endure hallelujah, but for a for a sake,
Immediately they are offended. They are offended, let me read
that again, and have no route in themselves, and so endure,

(36:30):
but for a time afterwards when affliction hallelujah, When affliction
or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
When affliction comes, you receive the word with gladness. But

(36:55):
when you're tried by life trials and tribulations, by life circumstances,
instead of being glad and using the word, because you
have no root root being the love the Bible tells us,
to be rooted and grounded in love. Okay, you got

(37:15):
to have love towards your enemy, the Bible tells us
Matthew five and forty four. I believe it is love
your enemy. So when you're tried with the life circumstances
such as that you don't have enough love in you
to overcome that situation because of the bitterness of the trial,

(37:38):
and instead of loving that person, you fall into the
other category. Hallelujah, verse eighteen. And you get offended halle
because they add the God is asking you to love
them rather than than hate them. He's asking you to

(38:02):
do good to them, rather than rendering evil for evil.
He asking you to pray for them, even though you
know that they're plotting on you. Hallelujah eighteen. And these
are they which are sown among thorns, such as hear

(38:23):
the word, and the cares of the world listen, and
the cares of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches,
and the loss of the other things entering in cloak

(38:44):
the word, and it becometh unfruitful, the deceitfulness of riches, money, power, stuff.
Tell you that I got you. I'm gonna take care
of you. That's only for a season, that's not for eternity,

(39:08):
that will pass away. Hallelujah. The cares of this world.
It looks like that somebody's always getting over on me.
It looks like that something's always being taken away from me.
Me me, me me. So it turns in complaining, right,

(39:30):
turns into complaining. The children of Israel and the wilderness,
they were always complaining, We need water. God gave him water.
We need food, God gave him food. The clothes on
their back did not wear out. They go into war.
They were winning every battle because God deemed that God

(39:51):
willed it soul. But they yet kept complaining. All of
their needs were met, but yet they kept complaining. They
had the richest of Egypt, God had told them to get,
but yet they kept complaining. It was never enough. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

(40:22):
So they become became unfruitful. Hallelujah. They could not produce
the love that it took or the understanding that they
needed to be become sons of God. Hallelujah. And verse twenty.
And these are they which are sown on good ground.

(40:45):
Listen to this, such as hear the word and receive
it and bring forth fruit. What is he talking about?
You're doers of the word, and the manifestation of God's
power is upon you to bring forth what God said

(41:06):
will happen in your life. The Bible says this, I
believe in Proverbs twenty two. I believe thirty five someone
around now. He said, cast your burdens up on the Lord,
and he shall sustain thee and not suffer the righteous

(41:26):
to be removed. Cast your burdens upon them, which means
is rather than to seek to fight my battle and
those things that are overwhelming me, I go to God
and press, say God, I cannot handle this. We just
got to talking about loving your enemies, doing good to

(41:47):
them that don't do good you, blessing them that curse you. Okay.
They can seem like insurmountable objects that you cannot do
in and of yourself. But when you take it to God, God,
I don't find Like Paul did in Chapter seven of Romans,

(42:08):
he said, Father, I don't find it in me how
to do this. I need your help, and God will
help you. Why because Jesus said this, I go to
my Father, and if you ask anything according his will,

(42:29):
he will do it for you. Why because it's the
Father that do it the works anyway, it's the Father.
It's God that do it the works anyway. Hallelujah. Such
as hear the word and receive it, bring forth fruit.

(42:52):
How much thirty fold sixty and summer hundred. In other words,
you will be successful when you hear the word of
God from a preacher. Faith come by hearing, hearing by

(43:16):
the word of God, and it takes the love of
God to work to faith, you will be successful. And
jud Romney twenty eight says, whatever your hand goes to do,
you will be successful. Hallelujah. Now listen to Thisum twenty
eight one. It says this it' shall come to pass

(43:42):
if thout hearken here again, if thout hearken diligently unto
the voice of the Lord. Remember I said, if you
equate the word of God with the voice of God, hallelujah.
If you hearken dilently unto the voice of the Lord
by God, to observe and to do it, to observe,

(44:06):
to put your eyes on it, to understand it, and
to do it. All these commandments which I command THEE
this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee
on hide above all nations of the earth, And this

(44:27):
and this too, and all these blessings shall come on
THEE and overtake thee. If thou shalt hearken unto the
voice of the Lord thy God, it is important for

(44:50):
us to hear the preacher that is sent to give
you the word of God. The Word sanctifies you. What
does that mean? That means it sets your part in
your mind and in your heart for the use of God.

(45:12):
It takes your heart out of a dark place that
the old me, old me, owe me, why me, to
a place that you will find safety in God. Enough
safety in God that you say you know what. God
used me to be an instrument to minister this gospel.
I'm not worried about what man can do to my body,

(45:34):
but I'm more concerned about what can happen to my
soul and body if I don't give you my heart
and mind. Hallelujah. You need a preacher, and I know
that's something out there that will say, no, I don't
need all that. It don't take all that. Don't believe that.

(45:59):
I'm not gonna take you to believe it. Don't believe
that if God said it, he meant it. You need
a preacher to preach you the Word. Preach to you
the Word of God, and you confirm that word. You
pray for your pastors. You pray for preachers so they

(46:20):
can continue to it. They are human too. They have
to go through life just like you do. They're charge
with the same burdens. Not only do they have to preach,
but they have to live too. They have their fathers,
their husbands. Some of them have jobs just like you do.
But they have a heart after God's own heart. They

(46:46):
love you with a love like God. They preach the word,
the good News, so you can hear it and so
you can gain faith. So you can use the faith
with the love of God that is in you. Because
it takes faith to work love. It takes love to
work excuse me, love, the love of God to work faith.

(47:09):
So you can work the faith that God has given
you with the love that is in you. In Christ Jesus,
I hope you all are getting this because I believe
that we're in the last and evil days. The Word
tells us he who have an ear, let him hear

(47:31):
what the spirit of saying. And in so many and
this is something I've witnessed myself. There's so many of
us being distracted by the cares of the world. We
don't even acknowledge God like we should. We'll go to church,
we're given praise, we'll give him honor, we'll go to
our meetings and so on. But in our every day
of lives do we acknowledge him in every circumstance, every

(47:54):
situation do we allow the Holy Spirit to warn us?
We want him to warn us so by danger, But
what do we want them to warn us about? How
we should handle our business on a day to day,
moment to moment basis. When I'm being used and abused,

(48:16):
do I want God to step in and tell me
what to do? Or do I want God to step
in and tell them what to do? Tell them to
leave mail alone? Or rather, God give me the strength
to endure. And if there be anything that you want
me to say, use me tello somebody. You need a

(48:41):
preacher to hear, You need a preacher to hear. I
hope you got those scriptures so you can read them
for yourself, so you can know what does says the Lord.
And let the scriptures speak to you. Father. It is
in the name of Jesus, Lord that we've read your word.

(49:02):
We've heard it. This is your command to us concerning
us and your will being done in all the earth.
Not only give us an ear to hear what you're saying,
but a heart to believe it strengthen us to work
on it, to ask you to help us on any occasion,

(49:26):
and not be embarrassed and not be ashamed to call
on you for help in our times of need. In
the mighty name of Jesus we do pray, Man and Amen. Now,
those of you who have not received Jesus Christ as
your Lord and savior, this is your time. Almost ten
nine and ten, as we are just read. If you

(49:47):
confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe
in your heart that God raising from the dead. The
Bible says, doubts shall be saved, thou shall be saved.
But you got to believe that he is the son
of God. You got to believe that he died on
the cross for your sin, and you got to believe
that after three days the Holy Spirit raised him up

(50:08):
from the dead. If you believe those things, repeat after me, Father,
forgive me, for I have sin and come short of
your glory. I ask you, Jesus, to come into my
heart and be my Lord as well as my savior.
I believe that you are the Son of God, and

(50:29):
I believe that you died for my sins. And I
believe that the Holy Spirit raised you up from the dead. Now, Lord,
give me of your spirit that will also raise me
up from dead works that will empower me to be
a witness of this Gospel of Jesus Christ with my
testimonies of how you saved me. For it's in Jesus name.

(50:52):
I pray, Amen and Amen. If you prayed that prayer,
just like the scripture says ten and eleven and twelve,
it says you can when you go out into the
world and you run into problems, call on the name
of Jesus's in the scripture. I just read it. Call
on the name of Jesus and watch God work. Watch

(51:16):
God work. Learn to depend on God and everything that
you do, everything that you say, everything that you think.
We need to get to the point where we are
not allowing anything that we have in this world to
dictate how we reverence God and respect one another. Because

(51:38):
God is looking for a vessel that is willing to
be led by his spirit. He's looking for you. He's
looking for me to be obedient to every word that
comes out of his mouth. Again, I'm Pastor Rodney Hooks
of the Word of Life John one to fourteen Church
located in Troytamelma, Alabama. Thank you, God bless you, and

(52:02):
the Lord keep you. Hallelujah, Amen, Amen, Amen, good Word.
