I rent my RB in RB Share, I have a
Class A with a bagel, and I always do when
(02:31):
the customer comes in to rent the RB, I gave
them my full blown orientation so they can actually know
what the stuff is, what the tire pressure, how to
do this, how to do that, Because at the end
of the day, I want everybody to have a great
time and be safe. You know, you don't want to
be like, oh, how you do this? What's the trial pressure?
(02:54):
Got to be this and that. You want to make
sure that you already know that type of stuff just
in case if you ever needed, you already know what
to do. So everybody that actually rents our Bees too,
and people who rent their r bees as well, always.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Do that orientation.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
If they person that is doing it doesn't want to
do it. Rent renting it out, doesn't want to do it,
that's not cool, man. Always take care all you people
you know so. Yeah, and if you ever want to

So aha, let's do this. Believe it or not.
Speaker 1 (05:05):

look at the weather across the US.

the coast.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Great time for the indoor fireplaces.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
And you know exactly where to get your water A
three three zero shades Pikeway in Waterbury, Connecticut. You know
where the girl water is at now. In the southeast,
it's gonna be worn and muggy. Thunderstorms are expected in Florida.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
In the Midwest, winter storm moving in heavy snow expected

our beers shoes, check tar chains and route updates. And
that's not only the ones that you guys see on

the highway. And sure you guys also checked and pre
planning your routes accordingly.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Especially you know how the Howway.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
I forgot what it was, but going through Sha Jan
usually they closed the whole highway down or it will
say no rbs and whatever the case is due to
how winds. Make sure you guys are paying a lot
of attention out there. You know how the weather changes
from town to time. Right now it could be okay
and all of the sudden book, some craziness, eyes and
(08:25):
everything else in between. It's coming so really important you
guys stay up today when it comes to that type
of stuff. Man safety is always first. Now in the.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Southwest, that's a whole different story.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Sunny, dry Pea, beautiful Arizona and New Mexico are prime
for star gazing, perfect hiking weather. And in the West
coast rain in northern California and Oregon chilling nice.
Speaker 2 (08:59):

(10:39):
This week's gear peck is go weather sleeping bags higher.
Our values are dominating the market.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
What to look for?
Speaker 1 (10:49):
You may ask right our value four point five or
above for winter conditions. Insulated air pads versus phone wait
be versus warm balance, don't forget adventures.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
This is the gear that literally keeps you alive.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
If you pad it isn't insulating, maybe your back can't
really save you, you know. So make sure that what
you're getting you're insulating underneath the you're sleeping bag, so
you're sleeping back and keeping all nice and warm and toasty.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
And I'm not cadding about them.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Panchu liners too, if you go to a military source
plus store. And I longed this in the Marine Corps
as a Marine combat veteran.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
We've been there, you know.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
So therefore there's this thing called panch a liner and
it looks like a like a blanket basically, but the
tennis that is really ten as well. So when we
went to, for example, Mount Foujie or any other place
that is really cold. I will have my sleeping bag
and inside the lad sleeping bag, I will use the
(12:03):
panchol liner as a blanket and it will keep you
super dupid hot. I mean, it could be snowing, icing
and the horn nine yards outside, but you're nice and
toasty in the inside. Just whenever you open the sleeping
bag and all that cold air and stuff like that
hates you. Well, you know, it's gonna be a whole
(12:27):
lot of fun, I guess. But yes, we're all getting
aside and so on. Yeah, panche liner. And the good
thing about panchol liners too is that you can use
some some stressures in case of emergencies, and they got
plenty of uses as well. But yeah, sleeping bags, don't forget.
Gotta be mad for cold weather conditions and also weather
(12:50):
proof them.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Even if you are, let's.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Say, in an tent, you might want to also weather
proof you sleeping bag as well.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
You know.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
So that's a little food for thought that I hope
it helps you out a bit. This week, I want
(13:34):
to shut out all the families hitting the campgrounds even
in the winter. Man like you guys are truly the
real MVPs out there. You guys are toughing it out
in the winter, man. I tell you what, you guys
inspire us, especially those first time campers braving the cold
(13:55):
and all these crazy conditions, no eyes and so on.
And even if we don't get any crazy weather, just
the code itself. I mean, it takes training to be
able to do that, and but the only way you're
going to really learn is by doing it having experience.
You know, you get experienced by actually doing it. And
(14:15):
it's really cool. I'm proud of you guys are still
out there and the campgrounds and boom backing and all.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
That great stuff out in the cold, Like, that's actually
pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Man. I haven't done it besides the Marine Corps, and
that doesn't count as camping, if you know, you know,
but the fact of the matter is, like, that's really cool, man.
I haven't count in the winter before. That's one of
the things that I definitely want to do. Maybe I'll
do it with you guys. I'll bring the podcast. I
(14:49):
also bring the cameras and so on, so we can
make a special segment or something.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
I think it would be pretty cool, man.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
But yeah, you guys out there in the campgrounds and
the winter man. I'll tell you what, you guys are
freaking awesome. Also, I want to send out some special
love to a trail Blazers or trail Blazer community sending
their messages the reviews, also sharing the podcasts to their friends.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
It actually help us actually keep or mission going. And
also I'm growing.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
This is off the script, by the way, I just
want to make sure that send you guys some love
because I really appreciate you guys. When I first started this,
and I'm still learning the ropes, you know, but when
I first started this, I just had a cell phone.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I started doing things that way. And to see everything.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Getting better by episode and keep progressing, like it's a
beautiful tendant to see people actually in the wood department.
I'll give you guys a little story so you guys
already know. Yeah, you can buy wood three three zero shades, Parkway,
water Break, Connecticut and so on and so on. But
(16:05):
the fact of the matter is that like I split
the wood out in the back, I got splittered the
whole nine.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Yards and it's good wood.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
It is good wood, nothing worth quality, and not because
I'm in the podcast.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
I'm not trying to sell you anything. I'm just telling
you the way that it is. You know.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
So I make this the bondles, I wrap them up
and I put them out in the front and people
buy them and so on. And you know how the
weather it's getting cold? Oh yeah, it's freezing out here.
As a matter of fact, give me one second, I'll
tell you the temperature right now outside and whatever it is. Oh,
(16:44):
I know it's not gonna be easy. Let's google this
then weather right now, and right now, it's fourteen degrees
right here in Whatebre, Connecticut. We are expecting to get
some snow tomorrow. Fourteen degrees guys, can you imagine that?
It's pretty cold? But out there in the Northwest and
(17:06):
so on, I'm sure it's worse. But my point is
that some of the customers that I have, like I
like to touch my customers. Not that way, man, not
that way, but I like touching my customers. I like
saying hi. I want to put a face to the customer.
I want to say, hi, Hey, you got kids, how
you doing? Shake hands on nine George, Because I like
(17:28):
things doing the old school way. Yeah, we got a
lot of technology and so on. But it doesn't matter
how much technology advances. There's nothing better than shacking somebody's hand. Man,
you got five seconds for somebody, like, come on now.
And the thing is that I never realized, and this
is the first year that I'm selling hardwood and someone,
(17:49):
I never realized that so many people literally need the
wood because let's say, for example, their furnace breaks and
they have a fireplace, or they get a woof tove,
that's what they're gonna be burning firewood, you know, so
I for the summer, I can't understand. Yeah, some people
(18:12):
got these hot tops with firewood. I still don't understand
the concept of how to do it. But it actually
sounds pretty freaking.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Cool to me.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
But also, you go to the campsite, you're gonna burn
some wood, this and that. But I never knew that
it's actually an asshow source of heat. I am surprised
how many people not only use it as a luxury,
Oh it's Christmas, let's fire up the fire place, you know,
(18:45):
but actually use it for the winter. I'm like, no way,
And I noticed it. Oh on my point, So there's
been two instances already. So the bundles, Yeah, I sellon
for five dollars each. No big deal, right now, you
can't even get anything for five dollars, no more, you know.
(19:07):
But the fact of the matter is that a customer
came into me, Hey, how you doing, and he ran
my ring doorbell and the whole nine yards and he's like, hey,
can I talk to you for a minute, and like, absolutely,
give me one second. I went downstairs help a man
shake the hand, and the whole nine yards and it's like, Bro,
(19:30):
I really need your help, Like what's going on?
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (19:34):
And it's like, look and they broke right now and
they everything just upside down. I need some wood so
I can hit up my family. And that that night
it was colder than right now. Right now it's fourteen degrees.
It was colder than the fourteen and I just wanted
(19:57):
to see if I can grab three on the word
and I'll pay you back on Friday.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
I think this was on Wednesday something like that. So like, Bro,
don't worry about it.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Bro, Honestly, you need the worst so you can hit
up your family, your house right with your family and
so onsid you I'm assuming correct me if I'm wrong,
but I'm assuming that you got kids as well. Right, yeah, yeah,
I got kids of course, and so on and so on, like, bro,
don't worry about it, like no, no, no, I'm gonna
(20:32):
pay you back. I'm gonna pay you back, and.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Like all right cool.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
But in the other side, I mean, I am focunate
that I'm able to do this and help people. That's
what we do, bro, Like, even with the profss, we
help humblest children. We help a lot of organizations and
people out there, because that's what we created, this whole
entire company. It's not just to make a freaking profit. Yes,
(21:01):
slowly we make profit. I would be lying and say
if I say that we didn't. But the fact of
the matter is that a lot of the money that
we use.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
We reduce to the community. We reduce the money to
help people.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Thanksgiving Christ means homeless children, you name it.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
I didn't even knew it was a tend to have
country children. Are you serious?
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I mean, this is my country a fust and I
love this country, the United States of America. Mess around
and find out just because I gotta keep an eye
heart ready, you know, But the fact of the matter
is that, honestly, so anyway, Wednesday he comes out and
(21:48):
I can't won attend and so on, and every night,
late night, I let the CEO and there the founder
and the CEO of the company, everything that going on
with the company. You know, he's a releasing busy mind,
I mean. And the CEO he trust me to run
the whole entire operation, scale it and the whole nine jars.
(22:10):
But communication in business and friendship even families, man, it's
really important.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
It's key. So we tend to do a little debriefed debriefing.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
During the night, just to let him know everything that's
going on with the company, the good, the bad. They
argue what we're gonna be doing the whole nine jars,
and again plan that I may have and of course
the time is gonna be like you build it, get
on it, gone with it like bro, Like you're the CEO, bro,
(22:43):
Like come on, now, you need to know this stance.
But communication is key to everything, man. But the fact
of the matter is, so I let him know, Hey,
we had somebody outside. He said it was cold, he
needed to hit up his house with the fireplace. I
get on through bungles of wood. He said, they will
pay it back. But whatever happens happened, and I pretty
(23:05):
much get on the credit. We know it's not expecting
the money back. I mean, because when you help somebody,
you're not doing it just because oh I want something
to return you helping them because you want to help them.
So you know who the CEO, he didn't even flinch,
like that's what we do, and like, yeah, just letting
you know. Bro, It's like, that's exactly what we do.
(23:27):
But what do we do if we wasn't gonna be
doing this?
Speaker 2 (23:30):
And so on?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
So I'm like all right, cool, and and that Friday,
so it was up Wednesday that Friday, he started banging
on the door, ringing the door bell and so on,
and he uh, he came in, Hey, Dan ask and
so on, and hey, how you doing brother, you know,
(23:53):
and like, hey, I came here to pay you and like, okay,
but bro, you do understand that I did it to
help you out. I mean, I appreciate the fact that
you're freaking a paying back. You know, you're a man
of your world. That's a good thing. But I just
wanted to make sure that I do. I don't want
to pressure you or anything like that, because I did
(24:15):
to help you out, not like no, I appreciate it,
so on and so on, and he did pay, he did,
but more, but not only that, he brought more customers
to me just because on one small deed, because to
me it was a good thing.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Bro, you called let's keep your family won. That's all
it is, you know. But and he still continues to
bring customers.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
And that's why you expect from doing a good job
and just being you. I mean, we do this not
to look cool and the whole nine jars. I mean
looking cool. You got a classic, win a bagel, you
got a campsite, you got TV station, you got radio station. Yeah,
it looks cool. Yeah, it comes with the territory at
(25:05):
this level. But the fact of the matter is that's
that's not what we do this stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
What hell?
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Oh sorry, what heck? The CEO when we first started
and that's Nickel and Diamond, Like, this is a startup, guys,
this is a startup. You mean, we're making it, struggling, fighting,
doing and again doing it and again doing it again,
and from there we get little successes and that's how
(25:33):
you grow. But the fact of the matter is that
when we first started the company, talking like we got
the articles of organization, we got the EI in number.
At that point, the CEO came out and said, listen,
I don't know how you're gonna do it. I don't
care how you get it done. But the fact of
(25:54):
the matter is I want to help veterans. I want
to be able to help more veterans out. So figure
out how you're gonna do it. How in the heck
are you gonna say no to that?
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Man? Honestly, it's down order.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
But that's the type of guy that the CEO, his
name is south DS by the way, he's a doctor well,
and he always says, I'm not a doctor.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
I have a doctorate in nursing. And he's a really
good guy. And we work together.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
We built this beautiful company that we love and we
love our customers and we like to help people.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Man.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Now that being said, yeah, if you're company out there
out in the winter, man, just be safe. Make sure
you're safe, make sure that you are prepared the whole
nine yards. I have fun, but you guys are definitely beast.
You guys are definitely beast. You guys got this man
(26:54):
and everybody, Oh yeah, that was my point, man, Like
everybody listen to the to our heart radio I'm on
some prime whatever the case is.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
And you guys.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
Like to some thus messages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or
now x and Facebook and YouTube and so on, like
we appreciate you, man, thank you, thank you for helping
us out.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Man, it's nice to see somebody they like to content
or saying hey, how you doing?
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Like hey, we love you. You know, life is great, man,
Let's make it good.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
We're not none of none of us are gonna get
out of it alive when I enjoy in between?
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Shall we? All? Right?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Now to the regular schedule programming. Where were we guys?
Do you guys remember? Oh yeah, I was giving you
guys some love because it's good. Uh, we might as
well just go to the next sement in two. And
that's the tip of the week, guys. The three layer
(28:06):
winter rule. Three layer winter rule. So first you got
the best layer, right, that's the one that has mosture,
the weakling thing, so basically the one that is thinner.
(28:28):
Let's say to keep a nice and simple that's gonna
take the mosture out and so on. Then you have
the mid layer that's the insulator, all right, so one
that can keep and start trapping your body heat inside
(28:48):
of you.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
Well, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
So you got the U show tinner layer first. Then
on the other one is the insulation. It's gonna be
a little bit heavier sweatshirt, that type of thing to
keep your heat inside.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
And then of course you got your outer layer. Are
your outer layer. It's gonna be.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
For your wind proof, your waterproof, your maybe your jacket,
that type of stuff that's gonna help you against the wind,
the snow, the freaking rain and so on. And one
thing to remember a Banchelor's third brakers, my beautiful people,
(29:41):
that no counting. It's definitely not your frame. Man, it's
definitely not your friend. So remember that, you know, because
gotten more its serves it. It's not gonna be cool
for you, bro, really not. And by the way, if
(30:03):
you guys want to learn more about the firewood and
so on, you guys, and even if you're in Connecticut,
you got a business in Connecticut. You want us to
put a wool wrack and we'll give you twenty percent
of the sales and whatnot.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Well you can always test. So call me two three, five, one, nine,
six yel eight. My name is Dannis.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Said hi, by all means, but Also you can go
to Desky Company Adventures dot com and you're gonna come
actually find out more information there as well, you know,
and now advertising and promoting anything, not trying to sell
you something.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
And we're gonna take that wood and shove it right
down your troll. We're gonna sell wood until the customer buys.
Or no, we don't do that.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
We're not the Wolf of camping. Love is great, man,
life is definitely great. So hey, guys, that's gonna wrap
up this episode. Crazy episode on today's edition or throw
blaze a headlines. Thank you very much. I love you
(31:13):
guys for being a great part of this incredible outdoor community.
Man like, I so highly appreciate you guys. We love
you bro and we really do miny like, we highly
I appreciate you guys. We wanna be a part of
this is gonna be awesome. We are a part of
(31:34):
the community that we help each other and we set
the standard for the new generations that are gonna enjoy
