Speaker 1 (00:29):
Good morning Adventures, trail Blazers and outdoor lovers across the
United States, Welcome back to another Friday edition of trail
Blazer Headlines, the number one new show covering the entire
campaign RB and Outdoor World. I'm your host Dennis DS
and today we got a solid lineup packed with national

(00:53):
park updates, fresh RB industry news, weather across the country,
outdoor safety tips, and of course the letters from Desy
Camping Adventures, Firewood Department and expansion projects. Let's grow up,
warm up, and drive straight into the great outdoors. National

(01:23):
parks preparing for holiday season crowds. Several parks including Just
My Arcadia, the Smokies, Rocky Mountains, and Sana Noah have
already begun preparing for increased holiday tourisms. Teams are laying
down gravel on icy trails, adding signalless for winter hazards,

(01:46):
and opening seasonal education programs for families visiting during the
Christmas week. Visitors are encouraged to check for their road closures,
they access to the trails on weather advisories, limited campground
abilities as well. Make sure you guys are checking all

(02:07):
that before you guys planned your nice adventure. If you're
traveling this month, I tell you what expect. Heavier traffic,
but also some of the most beautiful man most beautiful
winterviews that you're gonna be able to see all year.
This is gonna be amazing. Well, always replanning accordingly and

(02:29):
be safe. Our big industry reports early winterization boom. Winterization
numbers are up fifteen to twenty percent nationwide with our
big tech shots, but solid from Maine to Montana es
per se our b owners are being more proactive this

(02:49):
year because of the early goal snap and recent freeze warnings. Listen,
it's a good reminder to winterize now if you still
haven't done so, and save thousands, I mean thousands of
repairs later. Never on the estimate the cold water lines.
We got to protect those lines because if that things

(03:11):
not lordy LOADI I tell you what holiday outdoor gear
sales is served. Gin retailers are reporting major spikes in
purchases of butterble battery power stations, throw paying heaters, heated
camping blankets, zero degree sleeping bags, waterproof boots, infredible hat tens.

(03:36):
This could be one of the biggest December outdoor gear
seasons in years. If you're shopping. Make sure that you
guys can plare the ratings. Some of these heated blankets,
wrong hat, some wrong week, so make sure you choose
wisely and have fun. Safety Yello or black eyes Foremen

(03:59):
on the trails. Search and rescue teams across New England, Ohio, Michigan,
and Wisconsin has reported a rise in slip and fall
incidents due to black eyes hikers. Make sure you guys
bring micro spikes, drinking spots, extra layers for shure cose

(04:20):
it is cold out there and emergency blankets. Take it
slow out there. I don't care how experience you are,
but you definitely can we and fall while life update increase.
Coyoty sidings outdoor officious warm of more coyote movements due
to decreasing temperatures. Most sightings are non aggressive, but hikers

(04:45):
we passed to should definitely stay alert. Winter campgrounds are
seeing higher bookings. Some states like Vermont, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Utah,

(05:10):
and Oregon are experiencing a rise in winter camping reservations.
People want what the people want. People want cabins, hated jerks,
snow shoe tours, holiday team outdoor experience may wish you
and medic Christmas winter campaign is growing fast. It might

(05:32):
become the next big niche. So if you listen to
entrepreneurs and I'm telling you what, there might be something
there for you. Diesel guys prices are going down slightly,
few prices step by six to nine cents nationwide, making

(05:56):
long distance RB travel slightly more heading into the holidays.
If you are heading south like Florida, Georgia, Texas, New Mexico,
now will be the time to roll. Baby, let's do this.
This is gonna be fun. New RB tech remote heat

(06:18):
monitoring several RB brands have quietly to release a new
AHPEC monitoring system that allowed our bees to track inside
temperatures from their phone. Perfect for owners traveling in cold conditions.
And that's actually pretty cool because you can be out

(06:39):
of the RB and make sure that when you get
back your bee's gonna be nice and cool or nice
and hat. That's actually pretty cool. I like that. I
want it in my winn A bag now gears spite
like of the week, portable proparing body heater winter addition,

(07:02):
grateful tens, cabins and emergency situations. Just remember ventilation is key.
You don't want to know carbon monasside none of that.
Never use while sleeping. Gotta pay attention to what you're doing. Man,
keep away from fabric so it doesn't burn burn burn.

(07:24):
Here's help, but your safety always and I'm telling you
always go first. So use it, stay warm, but just
always be careful. And now for your weather. Across the

(07:47):
United States. In the Northeast, it's gonna be cold, snowy,
and slick. Highs in the twenties, an eddies. Black eyes
risk increasing after sundown. Guys, make sure that you guys
are careful out there with the black eyes. I don't
want nothing bad happen to you or your beautiful family. Man.
In the Southeast, it's gonna be warm and sunny, hids

(08:12):
in the sixties and seventies. Great weekend for road twists.
Baby out in the Midwest, bitter cold, windshields in the
single digits. A couple of light furies are actually expected.
In the Southwest, it's gonna be clear and beautiful hikes

(08:34):
in the fifties and sixties with great visibility. In the
West Coast, it's gonna be raining in northern California and Oregon.
Southern California is gonna be sunny, and about the seventies.
Out in the Rockies, heavy fresh snow is coming. Chants

(08:57):
are required in multiple mountains assets. Make sure you guys
check where snows are required and you truck us out there.
Love you guys. Make sure you know you see the
flashing lights saying that hey, you need snow chains, put
them snowshins on. It's for a reason, and everybody please

(09:17):
be careful there. There's anything in the world can be replaced,
and you can even arrive late, so be it. But
nothing in the world can replace you man. And then
you guys out here so we can create great, beautiful memories.
This sentiment has been brought to you in part by

(09:38):
this company Masers for wood department. If you guys need
firewood out there, especially now with the code you needed
for your woodstove or for your fireplaces, we got the
best wood around. It's gonna be hardwood, there's gonna be
no pine. And it's only for five dollars five dollars

(09:59):
bond dolls. I don't even think that you can get
a sub now and day. It's for five dollars, but
you can definitely stay one for just five dollars per bundle.
I guarantee you what, and it's not gonna be then
small bundles that you see in the department stores, in
the gas station and so on, that they got like
four pieces, and the one like nineteen dollars, fifteen dollars

(10:22):
like Lodi, Lodi, What are you guys monking? Because it's
not healthy for you. Tell you what. Over here in
Desert Company Vengers, you actually get a nice bundle that
is guaranteed to make you a really good fire, a
long hot lighting fire for only five bucks. Man. You

(10:42):
can't beat that with a stick. So grab you would
over here at three three zero Shapes Parkway in Waterbury, Connecticut.
And we are actually expanding, getting more locations as we speak.
And I tell you what, as a matter of fact,
while talking about the five dollars bound doll you can

(11:04):
actually if you own a home or you have a
business and would like to join a program, it's actually
pretty amazing. It will bring you passive income as well,
and that is will bring you. Agree to having one
of our wood racks in your property, will bring the traffic,

(11:26):
will bring, the marketing, will bring in. Even the wood
already bundle up the whole nine yards. We take care
of absolutely positively everything. And you guys actually just simply
guess why. That's why collect twenty percent per se. So

(11:47):
let's say, for example, you make it one hundred dollars
a day. That's twenty dollars a day and so on.
It doesn't sound a lot, but it does definitely add
up passive income. You don't do anything you don't need to.
There's no oh, you gotta pay me five thousand dollars
to be able to buy in or none of that crap.

(12:09):
We want to help as many people as we can
possible and make sure people are warm, nice and warm
and have good memories. In the summer time too, with
the campfirewood and the horne and yards, especially the season
that is really really cold, almost regardless where you're at,
it's really important that we are able to expand the

(12:30):
reache and be able to help more people. One of
the ways that we can actually definitely help is by
simply making firewood affordable so you can heat up your
fireplaces and the hone and jars. So just for foot,
if you want to find out more information about it,
you can easily go to www dot desicompanabass dot com.

(12:53):
That's plain and simple Desic campana bansures do come. That's
all it is. And you can also tell and call
me at two zero three five one nine six zero
zero eight. If you guys want firewood bundles, just five
dollars open twenty four to seven three three zero Shape
Parkway in Whatebury, Connecticut will be the place. And if

(13:16):
you want your own firework brack and you want to
team up with Desic Company Bankers, well go ahead, you said.
Now some information you can test on call me at
two three five one nine six zero zero eight or
simply go on the web at Desi Company Bases dot
com and it's gonna be under camp firewood. And now

(13:50):
for your weekend outdoor tips one pack, two extra layers.
Sweat plus win equals danger, so gotta stay warm, back
a little bit extra. It's really cold out there. Bring
back up batteries, the cold drinks, the electronics fast man,

(14:12):
so gotta make sure the electric power banks and that
sort of stuff bring it in. Also, make sure you
guys bring snacks, make and make them accessible. Your body
burns more calories during the winter. You might not feel
it because you're out there being active and so on,

(14:32):
but the facult. The matter is, even when it's cold,
you are burning calories. Another thing is tell someone your route,
even simple trails. Oh, I have done this for the
longest time. Man, I know what I'm doing. I remember
back in my day. I know this trail left and

(14:53):
right and so on and so on. But I'll tell
you what. Even simple trails can turn risky. All visibility
things can go sour really fast. So yeah, it's good
to be confident. It's never good to be cocky. So
you got this. Just keep us safe out there. We
got a lot of adventures to go to. As we

(15:22):
head into the weekend, I want to give you this reminder.
The outdoors doesn't ask for perfection. It asks for presents.
Whether you explore its know only trails, take a road trail,
we have firewood, or simply watch the winter sky. Every
small adventure asks to something powerful to your life. Augress

(15:46):
isn't loud, courage isn't loud, road isn't loud. But they
are all happening that by step, every time you choose
to get up and let your story have an incredible weekend,
Stay warmed, stay safe, and keep placing those trails
