In this episode I sit down with the incredible Vickie Deeks. Back in the days of lockdown, Vickie delivered a session to her teacher colleagues on hearing loss and all the challenges and obstacles that, that entails. Out of this Sound Training Solutions was born! Vickie is one of the most remarkable people I have ever met.
Her hearing loss was the result of the abuse she experienced from a relationship when she was younger. Instead of focusing on what she lost, Vickie has turned everything she has experienced and everything she faces each and every day into the most amazing work and I'm proud to have had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Vickie.
