So what crazy adventures aregoing to happen on today's ride?
(00:25):
There's only one way to findout.
Alright, let's hit the track.
Today's story is the beach race.
The sun was shining bright overthe sandy Australian coast as
Jax, Mitch and Bonnie geared upbeside their dirt bikes.
They could hear the wavescrashing in the distance and the
air smelled salty and fresh.
(00:47):
Today's adventure was going tobe epic.
They were riding through thebush trails and ending up on a
hidden beach where they'dfinally get to race each other
across the sand.
Jax was buzzing with excitementas he buckled his helmet and
adjusted his bright blue andgreen gloves.
Bonnie was already bouncing onher toes, her pink and black
helmet covered in stickers ofher favorite brands.
(01:07):
She loved that her gear made herlook just like a pro.
Mitch, their dad, gave them thethumbs up, tightening the last
strap on his gloves.
Ready for some fun, you two?
Jack smiled a big smile, gripping his handlebars.
I'm so ready.
I can't wait to get to thebeach.
I'm gonna beat both of you inthe sand.
With a twist of the throttle, they were off.
(01:29):
Vroom! The bikes thundered downthe bush trail, kicking up
clouds of dust behind them.
The trees were tall and thick, forming a tunnel of green around
them as they zipped through.
Jax led the way, leaning intoeach turn as he flew around the
corners.
Watch out for those bumps! Mitchcalled, spotting a patch of
roots and rocks.
Jax lifted himself off his seat, letting his legs absorb the
(01:51):
bumpy ground as he bounced overthe rocks.
BOOM BOOSH BAM Bonnie followedright behind, laughing as her
bike rattled over the roots.
This is wild! she yelled, steadying her bike with a tight
grip.
The trail was tricky, but theywere getting closer to the
beach.
Mitch's voice came over theengine noise.
Just up ahead! We're almost atthe beach! As they reached the
(02:14):
end of the bush trail, theyfinally saw it.
The beach stretched out beforethem, golden and endless.
The waves crashed against theshore, the white foam glistening
in the sunlight.
Jax's eyes widened at the sightof all the space and open areas
to ride and go as fast as hewanted.
This is awesome! Jax shouted, his voice filled with pure joy.
(02:36):
Mitch pulled up beside them.
All right, who's ready to go fora race?
I am! Bonnie said, revving herengine.
Vroom! Here we go! With that,Jax took off, racing towards the
water.
His tyres left tracks in thesand as he sped along, the
engine just roaring through theair.
Bonnie wasn't far behind, herbike roaring as well as she
(02:58):
chased him down.
Mitch board up the rear, watching his kids bikes race
across the wide beach, sprayingsand everywhere.
Jax grinned, twisting thethrottle and going full speed.
He could feel the bike glidingon the firmer, wet sand near the
shore, and he leaned forward, the salty sea breeze whipping
past his face.
(03:20):
Bonnie was hot on his tail, determined not to let him win.
Her eyes focused on catchinghim.
Catch me if you can! Jax calledout to Bonnie, laughing as he
glanced back at Bonnie.
Oh, you are not getting awaythat easy.
Bonnie shouted standing up onher foot.
Pegs to go faster.
Mitch.
Watching from behind.
(03:40):
Couldn't help but laugh.
You two look like sand races outthere, he called.
The sound of their laughtermixed with the roar of their
engines as they zoomed along theshore.
Suddenly, Jack spotted a smalldune up ahead.
Look at that jump! Bonnie's eyeslit up.
Let's get over it! Jax hit thethrottle, aiming straight for
(04:00):
the dune.
Vroom! His bike launched up,catching some air before he
landed with a thud on the otherside.
Bonnie followed, her bikesoaring even higher as she
shouted with excitement, Woohoo! Nice jump, Bonnie, Mitch
called as he landed smoothlybehind her.
The sand was perfect for riding, every turn made their bike slide
(04:22):
just a bit, spraying sand out inarcs.
Jax leaned into the corner, hisback tyre spinning up as he
kicked up a cloud of sand.
Bonnie copied him, sliding andlaughing as she skidded around.
This is like a dirt bike dream!Bonnie shouted, steering her
bike in big looping turns.
Jax grinned.
(04:43):
Look! Let's race along thewater! The three of them took
off down the beach, the firmersand making it feel like they
were flying even faster.
The waves crashed close to theirtyres, splashing up just enough
to sprinkle them with the misty, salty water.
Jax could feel the sand shiftingunder his wheels, but he kept
his speed steady, enjoying everybit of it.
(05:05):
Here comes a big wave, Mitchcalled, pointing to a larger
wave rolling in.
Jax and Bonnie both saw it andpushed their bikes harder,
trying to outrun the water.
They could hear the roar of thewaves chasing them, getting
closer with each sound.
Jack shouted, FASTER BUDDY! Shetwisted her throttle, laughing
as she kept up.
THIS WAVE IS NOT CATCHING ME!She yelled her bike leaving a
(05:27):
trail along the edge of thewater.
They made it past the wave, pulling up a bit higher on the
beach to avoid the next wave.
Jax's heart was pounding withexcitement, and he looked over
at Bonnie, who had a huge grinon her face.
That was close, Bonnie said, breathing heavily.
I know, Jax laughed.
We outran the ocean.
(05:47):
Mitch pulled up beside them, shaking his head with a smile.
You two are wild.
But we should start heading backsoon.
The tide's coming in, and wedon't want to get stuck.
Jax and Bonnie nodded, but Jaxhad one more idea.
How about one last rice?
Back to the other end of thebeach.
You're on, Bonnie replied, revving her engine with a grin.
(06:08):
Mitch chuckled, watching hiskids as they lined up for one
final dash.
Alright, on my count.
Are you ready?
3, 2, 1, GO! Jax and Bonnie tookoff, their engines roaring as
they raced across the sand, leaning forward to get every bit
of speed.
The sun was starting to set, casting a golden glow over the
(06:30):
beach as they sped along.
They were neck and neck, neitherone wanting to let the other one
win.
Almost there! Jax shouted toBonnie through his helmet,
pushing his bike as hard as hecould.
Not if I get there first! Bonnieyelled, laughing as she surged
forward, her bike just inchesahead of Jax's.
They reached the end of thebeach at almost the same time,
(06:51):
skidding to a stop sideways witha spray of sand behind them.
They both burst out laughing, catching their breath as their
bikes hummed beside them.
You both did great, Mitch saidas he pulled up beside them.
You're real beach riders now.
Bonnie Beamed.
Still laughing.
That was the best ride ever.
(07:12):
Jack's nodded, grinning from earto ear.
We've gotta do this again, dad.
Mitch smiled, ruffling jack'shair any day on a dirt bike is a
good day, right?
Jack and Bonnie both noddedtheir faces flushed with
excitement.
They rode back along the beachenjoying the final moments of
sunlight.
The sounds of the waves and thehum of their engines blended
together as they headed home.
(07:32):
The beach now quiet andpeaceful.
when they got back to thegarage, they parked their bikes
and looked at the ocean, thestars beginning to twinkle in
the sky.
Thanks for the ride, Dad, Jacksaid, pulling off his helmet.
Yeah, that was amazing, Bonnieadded, giving her dad a big hug.
Mitch looked at his kids with aproud smile.
You both did great out there.
(07:53):
There'll be plenty more rideslike this.
As they headed inside, Jax andBonnie knew that they'd remember
this beach ride for a long time.
The thrill of the sand, thewaves chasing them, and the joy
of riding together made it anadventure they'd never forget.
