So what crazy adventures aregoing to happen on today's ride?
There's only one way to findout.
Alright, let's hit the track.
Today's story is the OutbackAdventure.
The first rays of sunlightpeeked over the horizon, casting
a warm glow across the red dirtof the Australian Outback.

(00:47):
Jax was already awake, his heartracing with excitement as he
looked out from his swag at thevast stretch of bushes and sand.
Today was the big day.
He, his dad Mitch and his sisterBonnie would be riding their
dirt bikes through the wildOutback.
Jax quickly pulled on hisfavorite blue and green jersey
and dusty boots.
He grabbed his helmet andgoggles and then dashed outside.

(01:08):
Bonnie was already in thekitchen, tying her ponytail
while chatting with Dad overbreakfast.
Morning Jax, Bonnie called out.
Ready to ride?
More than ready, Jax grinned, grabbing a piece of toast.
I wonder what we'll see outthere today.
Dad looked at the map, smiling.
We've got some tough spots outthere.
And sand dunes, rocks, who knowswhat else.
It's gonna be wild and yep, Jax,you might even spot a few roos

(01:32):
hopping by.
Jax's eyes lit up.
Do you think we'll see one upclose?
Maybe even closer than youthink.
Dad chuckled.
Just be on the lookout and keepyour speed steady.
Bonnie laughed, alreadyimagining an emu running
alongside her bike.
I can't wait! Do you think therewill be any emus out there too,
Dad?
Anything's possible in theoutback, Dad replied.

(01:54):
After breakfast, they headed tothe shed where their dirt bikes
were waiting.
Jax's bike was smaller thanDad's, but perfect for tackling
the sandy trails.
Bonnie's bike, with bright pinkand black stickers, was ready
for the journey too.
Alright, let's fuel up and checkthe tyres.
Mitch handed them the fuel cansand they filled up their tanks
carefully.

(02:14):
Jax tightened his helmet, adjusting his goggles and
bouncing a little on his feet, itching to get going.
Good job guys! Now, let's getthese engines started, Mitch
said.
Jax grinned and gave thekickstarter a hard push.
Vroom! His bike roared to life, the engine rumbling beneath him.
He revved it a little, feelingthe power buzz through to his

(02:34):
hands.
Vroom! Let's do this! Jackshouted, giving Bonnie a thumbs
up as her bike fired up too.
Dad led the way as they tookoff, the gravel crunching under
their tyres.
The bikes roared through thewide open plain, kicking up
clouds of red dust behind them.
Jax leaned into the handlebars, the cool morning breeze brushing
against his face as they spedacross the outback.

(02:54):
path soon grew rougher, withsoft patches of sand that made
the bike slide and wobble.
Jax had to grip the handlebarstight, his heart pounding with
the thrill of the bumpy ride.
Bonnie giggled as her bikeskidded and bounced, sending up
small clouds of red dust.
The sand is trickier than Ithought, Bonnie shouted over the
noise of her bike.
Just stay steady and keep thethrottle up, Dad called back,

(03:17):
glancing over his shoulder.
you'll feel it float over thesand if you keep it smooth.
Jax grinned, leaning back alittle, and steadying his
throttle, just as Dad had taughthim.
The bike revved and glided overthe sand, making him feel like
he was flying.
After a few twists and turns, through the scrubland, the sand
dunes appeared on the horizon.

(03:38):
Massive rolling waves of orangesand.
Dad slowed down at the base ofthe first big dune.
Alright, this is where it getstricky.
Lean back, twist that throttleand keep moving.
If you stop, the sand will trapyour wheels.
You got it?
Jax gave a determined nod.
I'm going first, he said, revving his engine and feeling
the bike come alive under him.

(04:00):
He hit the dune, sand sprayingout behind him.
Vroom! The engine growled as hepowered up the slope, feeling
the bike wobble beneath him.
back, holding the throttlesteady and laughing as he made
it to the top, the bike kickingup sand as he sailed over the
crest.
Woohoo! Jax cheered out, lookingback at Bonnie, that was sick!

(04:22):
Bonnie was right behind him, leaning back and twisting her
throttle just like Jax had.
She was laughing as she reachedthe top of the dune, her bike
bouncing slightly as she crestedthe peak.
Nice one, Bon! Jack said, givingher a high five.
Dad followed them up, poweringthrough the sand easily.
Great job, you two, he said.
Now let's keep moving.

(04:42):
There are even bigger sand dunesahead.
They rode on, tackling one duneafter another.
Jacks and Bonnie loved thefeeling of climbing up and
flying down the other side, thesand spraying out like a red
waterfall behind them.
After what felt like ages ofJune hopping.
They finally left the sandyhills behind and entered rocky
scrub land.
The bushes scraped at theirboots as they weaved through the

(05:04):
narrow trails, dodging rocks andlogs.
Watch out for rocks.
They'd called and keep an eyeout for kangaroos.
This is their turf.
Just then, a group of kangaroosbounded across the path ahead,
their powerful legs carryingthem smoothly over the rocky
ground.
Jax slowed down, amazed by howfast they moved.
Look at them go! Bonnie said, her eyes wide with excitement.

(05:27):
They're like outback ninjas!Haha, they are! Jax laughed,
pretending to chase after them.
I bet I could still beat them ina race though! He said.
They sped up following the trailas it curved through more thick
scrub.
They passed patches ofwildflowers and small mounds of
red termite nests that stuck uplike little towers.
Jacks weaved around the moundskeeping his speed up and his

(05:48):
eyes on the trail.
After a while they came to awide shallow creek with
sparkling clear water.
Let's take a break here.
Dad said parking his bike by theedge.
Jacks and Bonnie splashed intothe creek enjoying the cool
water and the dusty ride.
This is amazing! Jack said.
I love how the Aussie Outback isso wild and full of surprises!
Bonnie said, sitting down in theshallow water.

(06:10):
After a short rest, they hoppedback on their bikes and
continued through the outback.
The trail led them across aflat, cracked plain where
termite mounds rose like towersaround them.
Mitch pointed out one of thetallest mounds.
That one's almost as big as you,Jax! Suddenly, Bonnie hit a bump
and flew over one of the smallermounds.

(06:31):
She let out a loud, Woohoo! Asshe soared through the air,
landing with a skeet on theother side.
Nice jump, Bonnie! Jack'scalled, laughing as he rode
alongside her.
Dad signaled for them to stopand pointed up ahead.
See that line of trees?
That's our next stop.
A little oasis where we can cooloff before heading back.

(06:51):
The oasis, the temperaturedropped and they could hear the
sound of water falling from awaterfall.
The little pond was surroundedby tall trees, their branches
offering shade.
It's like a hidden paradise,Bonnie said.
It sure is, Dad replied, parkinghis bike and sitting down by the
water's edge.
The outback can be tough, butit's beautiful too.

(07:12):
This has been the best rideever, Jack said.
You both did great today, Mitchsaid, giving them each a proud
smile.
I'm really impressed with howyou handled all those sand dunes
and how deep the sand was.
As they prepared to head back, the sun was already starting to
set, casting a warm orange glowacross the land.
They clicked their bikes intogear and headed off, retracing

(07:33):
their route through the rocksand scrub, back across the sandy
plains and dusty trails.
Keep your eyes peeled, Dadreminded them, as the sky grew
darker.
We might see some more animalsout there now.
Sure enough, as they rodethrough the scrub land, a large
kangaroo suddenly jumped acrossthe path in front of them.
Jack skidded to a stop, nearlyhitting it with his dirt bike.
That was so close! Jack shouted.

(07:56):
I've never seen a roo that closebefore! As they rode back toward
camp, the stars began to fillthe sky.
They parked their bikes, kickedback by the campfire, and talked
about the day's adventures.
Today was amazing, Jack said, looking up at the stars.
Thanks for taking us, Dad.
Anytime, buddy.
The outback's full of adventure, and we've only just begun to

(08:17):
explore it.
As they settled into theirswags, Jacks and Bonnie thought
about all they'd seen.
The towering sand dunes, thebouncing kangaroos, and the red
sand stretching out forever.
But no emus.
Maybe next time.
They were exhausted and readyfor bed and couldn't wait for
the next day's riding becauseany day on a dirt bike is a

(08:37):
great day.
