My name is Elvis. Derek Dies will be with us
on our next show, Derek dse Of course the former
forty nine are super Bowl Yeah, man number sixty three,
and you know it's you know, by the way, this
is Cisco, my friend. Nobody see you, brother, We hear bones. Yeah,
we're in Las Vegas. Cisco and I are both in
Las Vegas, and it's interesting to meet you and then

know that you actually were in the Bay Area absolutely
during the time that actually I had a really big
radio show when radio was a thing.

What a time to be alive. Yeah, it really was.

And there was you know now with for those people
that don't know, The Doghouse was a radio show in
the Bay Area from a nineteen ninety four good I'm
old nineteen ninety four pill about two thousand and seven. Yeah,
and then we have fired wrongfully terminated. We beat them
in arbitration. We went to New York City to the
first show out of Howard Stern Studio in New York City.

Those are stories for another time. Yes, absolutely legends, but
in my own mind.

But here's the thing. Here's the thing. My partner and
my good friend of thirty plusu heres JB.

Yeah, and he was I've mentioned this before, but he
was the most talented, creative.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Driven sent the gun that I will ever know. And
he made me better.

Yeah, absolutely, And he made me better to the point
where I knew if he was laughing at.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
What I said, Yeah, then it was fun funny.

Yeah, because and you know what what's crazy is that
he did pass away last year because he did have
people know this story.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yeah, on the Bay Area.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
He hadline disease and unfortunately the COVID back scene brought
it in, all these infections in his brain and he
suffered for two straight years. Yeah. And I'm not going
to get into details, but I mentioned this, I think
on our first podcast. He actually I got an email
from him five days after he passed away and he
gets scheduled and it.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Was just to think about it tears me up because
of what he was going through.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
But for him to say the things to me that
he did, say, wow, yeah it was, it was. It's
just a tragedy. But now what I'm doing is bringing
back doghouse or bringing you know, forming doghouse sports. Yeah,
I'm bringing sports, which I'm just a total fanatic about.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
And think about it. We'll do it.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
We'll do it with fun. Absolutely a little bit of
doghouse vibe. Yes, but this will never be the dog house.
People going, hey, are you going to do break calls?

No, people, this is a Subsidnario dog house. Yeah, those
days are over. That's it was when and by the way,
everybody does break calls now. Mine were actually real.

Yeah, you know I always say that I was.

When I listen to these prank calls time here, They're
all like, man, come on, you have got to go
to the pioneers of this where your prank calls are
back in the day were the ones well, and I had.

Oh god, But back in the day, dude, they check this.
Back in the day, it was what it was before
digital audio. So yeah, I was recording everything on real
to real tape, man, and I would I would get
and on the air we would say, hey, go ahead
and uh, you know, email the doghouse at dogs Wild
at aol dot com. I still have that email address,
by the way, I've still got wow.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah, And we would before that, we would take factions.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, and I would get in every morning at like
four o'clock and there were raams and faxes. Then after
the show, after we did the doghouse, I would go
through the faxes and line them up and then I
would just hit record on this team, man, and it
would go forever and if.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I got a good one grade.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
And then editing was a whole different story because you
would have to edit with a grease pencil, raise a
blade and actual splice here you'd have to actually use tape.
So it was it's a different time. But yeah, ours
were real and unfortunately we got in trouble at quite
a few times. There's a few stories on that there is,
And you know, back then it was we were owned
by a company called clear channel.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
And they pull me in.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Hey, we're gonna pay this lady off. I'm like, why
are you picking her up? Yeah, we're gonna do it.
But just associate, doesn't you know? Raise of Steak and yeah,
distress sun right, keep doing them. They're old, I mean
curs right, okay, all right?

Oh by the way, so tell people Cisco what you're
doing now, because you are huge in the music scene. Man,
what kind of music are you specifically into? Because I
love it. It's kind of like.

I'm not gonna, you know, put you you know, because
I don't know is it? Is it Hawaiian?

I kind of coined the term where they do have
island reggae. So island reggae is a part of it
reggae and island reggae is a part of field good music.
What I've coined the term with what the kind of
music that I have. Feel good music is all music
that makes you feel good, right, Yes, So we get
island reggae, we get old school R and b oh
school hip hop, kind of mess it all together. Love
and that you have it. Yeah, it's a beautiful thing.
I'm traveling the world doing. I love so you created
a genre. Yes, yes, absolutely, But.

I see you do these concerts and they're pat.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Oh yeah, the concerts. I like the whole hell of
festival that I do. We're doing an Ocean Side in
January eighteenth. Well night, We've been going everywhere. Las Vegas
is in April. But these festivals pulling like ten to
twelve thousand people per show.

Maybe I can get a ticket away. Absolutely, yeah, all day.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
You know we used to do doghouse. Yeah, and we're
gonna get to sports. I know it's doghouse sports, but
shut up, leave me alone.

I have somebody in here that I actually vibe with

we're launching the station. I'm like, wait, what yeah, let
me do your digital content. So we had these conversations
and I've had I just met a couple of weeks ago.
I was in the city, San Francisco. If you don't

know what this idea is with the market manager. And
he's like, oh wow, okay, this that because, as we
both know, Las Vegas is the sports mecha.

I mean think about sports betting mecha, right well, sports gaming.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Yeah, listen, if you're sports gaming or your sports gaming
app and you a Spots or US.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Come on, by all means, seriously, by all means, yes,
nobody's doing this, and we're gonna be out live. It's
sports books, happening events.

And sports venues, and we bring this kind of vibe
and energy everywhere where we go.

So and what are they gonna find this one two punch,
you know, expecting Derek Dese being an.

Bowls lost. In book, it's okay. A lot of teams
never get to the Super Bowl. My Chargers got to
one and lost to the Niners in ninety four. By

Seven seven at San Jose and it was like I
had to like wear a Niner jersey and underwear and
like that women's underwear something like that, and they just
destroyed him. But that was the last time that the

ninety four. But to see them recently be good with this.
You know, Kyle Shanahan, John Lynch, who's the general manager,
went to my high school in Santiago, Tory Pines.

Hey, hey, Tory Pines. But to see them now with injuries
and you know, I just think back, well, maybe he

We don't want to talk about that trade. I mean
our window for opportunity for suer why I felt closed

And I think this year was kind of a show
improve yere and unfortunately with the injury bug where everybody

talking about just injuries, We're talking about like some life
problems we have, you know, Trent Williams losing a still
Moore child and Tarvarious Ward losing his one year old

daughter so awful. A lot of stuff hit the team.
I think all at the same time, Christian McCaffrey dealing
with his achilles injury. So Brandon I got for the
season after getting that money. So yeah, there's a number
of things that kind of like drew what it was
to during to get the rand. We shouldn't have been
in that position anyway, but we had to like win
every game. You got to losing that game, were going

to lose.

So my whole theory on it being a Fortynineter fan
was like, I'm glad it happened. Then then for us
to be like right at the playoffs and then it
happened there. It's a little bit less stressed and a

And then I think back about Heather being up Chiefs
in the Super Bowl. I was there, I was there.

So now they've got a situation where they back to

that they're giving them some real depth.

Yeah, this year you kind of look at what it
was to I mean, it's a lot of these trades
that go down with general managers and coaches. You really
don't know what you're losing until you know what you're
losing one hundred percent in a sense. But I think
with this team that we have, you know, we still
got to sign Rock Party, and I think that's gonna be.
People are so hard on Brock Party all over sports
and analysts and ESPN and all these different ones. But

I think he is definitely a franchise quarterback. I think
you put the right things around him. He's a Shanahan
system quarterback exactly, but he's also he's a game manager.

But he's just kint a raw deal this year.

Yeah, he really did, and now they're gonna have to
pay him probably fifty five fifty plus million.

Yeah at it. But then I think back, is he
worth that? Because then you cannot sign other players to
help this roster.

You're gonna have to maybe cut a Deebo Samuel, You're
gonna have to possibly let Trent Williams go.

You're gonna have to you know, move forward and not
have some of those pieces that got you to a
couple of Super Bowls.

You know, then you look at it where it as
as a whole now you're in the rebuilding process. Now,
you got to know that the next couple of years
are not going to be the playoff years. Yeah, so
I mean you got I got to take you with
it so I could be a fan but also be
a realist with football. Right and you see like how
Detroit right now, Detroit with Dan Campbell, they're coming.

Yeah, I definitely think they'll represent the NFC with Detroit.
But with Dan Campbell, he got those guys goings, a
players coach, he got a lot of young guys over there,
plus golf is over there. So you know, when you

of look at the whole picture. I'm a football fan
through and through too, but you always got to see, like,
you know, this Devondra Campbell thing that went like Law.

Dray Greenlaw was hurt beginning or last season, right, he
got hurt of the Super Bowl, got hurt in the
Super Bowl, and then he was out, so they needed
somebody as his back.

This guy to a one year deal, so he knew
what he was signing for. Yeah, he signed a one
year deal. He knew he was coming in to kind
of take the placeholder for Drake green Law until he
came back Bay. Yes, he's good on green Bay and
he came in this year watching him, that was the
hole in our defense. Like you knew he was making
the plays, but he wasn't making the plays that Drake
Greenlaw was making.

I went to City College at San Francisco. I went

At that time, that was like a time where Lawrence

watch right now, especially for the NFC West. But I
think it's all us NFC West always being a strong powerhouse,
you know division. I think this year it's obviously coming
from where Detroit is at and you know in Minnesota
is looking at.

Yeah, out of all the NMC West teams, like you said,
I think the Rams are going to be the one.
If anybody's gonna make any noise out of that division,
it'll be the Rams.

some of the catches I can't believe.

Yeah, Nicoua, he's definitely came in and kind of took
over that whole receiving core.

If they win the frigate NFC West, they're like a
wild card even if they do that as well. So
college football, one of the biggest stories this week was
Bill Belichick, Man, the former of course, super.

For that he was with the Browns. I think he

want my kid to go over there. So it makes
the decision a little bit easier for kids.

the Bay Area from a nineteen ninety four good I'm

and then we have fired wrongfully terminated. We beat them
in arbitration. We went to New York City to the
first show out of Howard Stern Studio in New York City.

in my own mind.

my good friend of thirty plusu heres JB.

He hadline disease and unfortunately the COVID back scene brought
it in, all these infections in his brain and he
suffered for two straight years. Yeah. And I'm not going
to get into details, but I mentioned this, I think
on our first podcast. He actually I got an email
from him five days after he passed away and he
gets scheduled and it.

Was just to think about it tears me up because
of what he was going through.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
But for him to say the things to me that
he did, say, wow, yeah it was, it was. It's
just a tragedy. But now what I'm doing is bringing
back doghouse or bringing you know, forming doghouse sports. Yeah,
I'm bringing sports, which I'm just a total fanatic about.

And think about it. We'll do it.

We'll do it with fun. Absolutely a little bit of

by the way, I've still got wow.

Yeah, And we would before that, we would take factions.

Yeah, and I would get in every morning at like
four o'clock and there were raams and faxes. Then after
the show, after we did the doghouse, I would go
through the faxes and line them up and then I
would just hit record on this team, man, and it
would go forever and if.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I got a good one grade.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
And then editing was a whole different story because you
would have to edit with a grease pencil, raise a
blade and actual splice here you'd have to actually use tape.
So it was it's a different time. But yeah, ours
were real and unfortunately we got in trouble at quite
a few times. There's a few stories on that there is,
And you know, back then it was we were owned
by a company called clear channel.

And they pull me in.

Hey, we're gonna pay this lady off. I'm like, why
are you picking her up? Yeah, we're gonna do it.

school hip hop, kind of mess it all together. Love

I think all at the same time, Christian McCaffrey dealing
with his achilles injury. So Brandon I got for the
season after getting that money. So yeah, there's a number
of things that kind of like drew what it was
to during to get the rand. We shouldn't have been
in that position anyway, but we had to like win
every game. You got to losing that game, were going

So my whole theory on it being a Fortynineter fan

People are so hard on Brock Party all over sports
and analysts and ESPN and all these different ones. But

I think he is definitely a franchise quarterback. I think
you put the right things around him. He's a Shanahan
system quarterback exactly, but he's also he's a game manager.

But he's just kint a raw deal this year.

pay him probably fifty five fifty plus million.

Yeah, out of all the NMC West teams, like you said,
I think the Rams are going to be the one.
