Technology is playing a big role in today's education but what should that involvement look like and how should it be taught. In this Episode of Educate Everyone, our guest is Middle Tree Education Director, LaVona Thomas. In a lively discussion with Dr. Joseph Atman, she talks about how schools have stepped back from teaching many of the subjects that helped earlier generations graduate into adulthood - leaving those things to parents now - who seemingly are leaving it to their children and the Internet to figure them out. She discusses the lack of cursive writing being taught in today's schools, meaning many young people don't know how to sign their names. But Dr. Atman cautions, it's too early to call these developments bad and explains the thoughts behind his theory of 'wait and see'.
