Hey, everyone, I’m Luis Miranda.
In this quick audio, I’ll go over my response for the English activities in Guide #4. I’m part of Group 337 in the Logistics Process Coordination program, and our English teacher is Ms. Jeimmi Castillo.
Alright, let’s jump into it.
This time, we’re using English conditionals to talk about flexibility and adaptability in leadership and professional growth. To give some background, I’ll share a bit about my career, my plans, and how I’ve handled challenges both in school and at work.
Honestly, I’ve had a few jobs here and there, mostly freelance gigs, and while I’ve worked for companies, I haven’t landed anything super stable yet. When I finished high school, I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life. And you know what? I don’t regret that. I’m not mad at myself for not having it all figured out back then. But looking back, I do think setting clear goals early on makes a big difference. Maybe if I had, I’d be further along in my career right now.
Still, I’m proud of the fact that I’m not afraid of challenges or even failure. I’ve got a good sense of when something’s worth pushing through and when it’s time to walk away.
Academically, I took on this logistics course as a way to open up job opportunities. Honestly, if I’d started sooner, I probably wouldn’t be stressing so much about my future right now. I’ve also been trying to learn English, which, let’s be real, has been a lifelong struggle. Apparently, picking up new languages gets harder as you get older… great timing, right? If I’d actually paid attention in high school English, I’d probably be fluent by now. Or hey, if someone had told me back then, “Hey, kid, learn English it’ll save you later,” maybe things would’ve been different. But life doesn’t work that way, and now, I’m stuck struggling to understand spoken English, which is incredibly frustrating.
Anyway, that’s enough rambling for today. Hope you all have a great one!
