In this heartfelt and deeply personal episode, Chante invites you into a conversation that many of us were never taught how to have: one with our own nervous system.

Reclaiming your body isn’t about striving for perfection or finally “getting it right.” It’s about coming home to yourself, gently, slowly, and with love. If you’ve ever felt like your body is too much, not enough, or completely disconnected from who you are… this episode is for you.

Chante shares her own journey of dissociation, sensory overwhelm, chronic illness, and control. She also discusses how she turned her body into a project, an object, something to manage or fix. And how, over time (and through practices like yoga, reiki, HeartMath, and Mindful Awareness Body-Oriented Therapy), she started to build a new relationship with her body, one rooted in compassion, attunement, and curiosity.

We’ll explore:

  • What the nervous system really does and how it relates to safety, connection, and survival
  • How trauma, stress, neurodivergence, and systemic oppression dysregulate us
  • What it means to shift from a “pathology” model to a “love and attunement” model
  • Practical ways to listen to your body, even when it feels hard or scary
  • And what it might sound like if your nervous system could write you back

This episode is a love letter, to the body that’s held you through it all, and to the you who’s finally ready to listen.

Because embodiment isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a radical act of self-respect. And your body? It’s not broken. It’s brilliant.
