In this very first episode of our new language learning
podcast, we want to explain the concept behind this show.
This podcast will teach you Spanish vocabulary ordered by
importance. You'll learn the most commonly
used words first and progress tomore specialized vocabulary over

getting the most useful words for your current level.
To determine which words are most important, we analyzed over
800 million words from everyday spoken Spanish literature and
academic texts. In our regular episodes, you'll
hear the English translation first, followed by the Spanish
word, then up to three Spanish example sentences, each followed

by its English translation and arepetition of the Spanish
sentence. We will also publish focused
episodes with just words and translations, plus bonus
episodes featuring the most important nouns, adjectives and
