Friendships change, and sometimes, they end.
Not because of conflict or drama, but because you changed.
In this honest episode, I’m sharing what it’s been like to lose long-time friendships after 50, not out of anger, but from a deeper commitment to my own wellbeing. As I began setting boundaries and honouring my emotional energy, certain connections no longer felt aligned. And while it wasn’t easy, it was necessary.
This is what growth looks like in midlife:
Choosing clarity over comfort.
Choosing truth over obligation.
And choosing yourself, without guilt.
If you’re navigating friendship shifts, quietly grieving someone who once felt like family, or learning how to stand strong in your no f**ks era, this conversation is for you.
In this episode:
• The subtle shifts that signal a friendship has run its course
• What boundary-setting revealed about my relationships
• How letting go can feel both tender and liberating
• A reminder that walking away doesn’t mean you failed, it means you’ve grown
You’re not alone. You’re evolving. And this is your time to protect your peace and move forward with power.
