think they brought it back andthey started like having the
mascots and there was some kindof game where you needed to
unlock let's say old players ormascots.

just the fact that there's nottraffic everywhere like it's

it's it's less complicated to gofrom one player to the other
when you're trying to selectwhich one you're going to
control very fun what I thatbrought me to something about
the outdoors remember when theybrought back like the winter or
they started putting theirwinter classics and all that
stuff that was really cool andimpressive they did I know yeah
they took it out yeah yeah theytook it out every year they add

stuff they subtract and thenthey say it's new the next year
but it's like something they hadyears before it's like the
threes this year you know theyou can have icons that pop on
the ice for big hits speed makea guy really small right really
and there's even the morearcadey one where there's like a

lightning bolt and stuff likethat where if you pick up the
lightning bolt it electrifieseverybody else on the ice except
yourself you know that's kind offun like Mario Kart did it
become very small yes and thenthere's bananas on the ice no

Kart NHL that sounds pretty funactually it kind of does like I
said it's something differentthan the actual game so I'd be

curious to play that yeah I'm anarcade fan right the arcade part
of things is what make thingsfun really fun like remember we
didn't live those glory daysdifferent type of glory days and
I wish I did the times where youget with your buddies and you go
to arcade places right an arcaderoom where you get there with

game into something that mostpeople that don't like really
yeah so 2025 is more arcadesadly you don't like that no

want the real game I want thereal hockey and they took that

So they have different aspectsof it where you can tell that
the people that you play againstonline play a lot of threes.

of it yeah you know how i thinkthere's too much nhl games like
every year guys it completelymakes the one previous that
doesn't matter anymoreabsolutely well what if every
year that's it every year wellevery two years they make a
strategic one and every twoyears they make an arcadey one
so then you're kind of buyingthe game you want every two

years and then you get to playthe the game you actually like
without having to rebuy it fortwo years straight.
And by the time there's a newversion of the game you like,
maybe the changes for two yearswill actually be significant
where you'll enjoy more of thechange.

See, what I would do with NHL 25is separate the arcade and what
got your game to where it istoday.
The way they got the game todayis that they just completely
made it arcade-y.

because it's a grudge matchmeaning it's like rivalry kind
of deal so we'll say okay sinceyou got 10 hits last game you
got the defensive boost so thenyour hitting is almost maxed out
your poke checks are maxed outand then so on there's a
playmaker one and then there's ascoring one so it accommodates

your style of play exactly butlike I meant to score in the
game but sometimes I'll get thedefensive one because we played
a good team and we had to playdefensively okay that's cool

that we were flocking becauselike the whole five players were

cool I love that like just thefact that you could lock into
one position and just playcooperatively so I'm gonna put a
little side note on that justquickly World of Chell we can't
couch co-op meaning if you comeover you have to be in your
place yes or like me and mybrothers do.

Yes, I actually land party itwhere I have two computer
screens at home and they play onmy computer screens.
They used to bring their TVs.
It got a little, it got to be alittle excessive but then they
started using computer screensso then they can play with their
guy beside me and which is,that's pretty cool.

We play online a lot.

Which is unfortunate with anyneed for speed game you can't
play with two people beside youthat's annoying so that's what I
missed about racing games andthat's what I loved about hockey

friends or family when they camethey came over to my place we
would play best of sevens allthe time nice so we do rock

players and then switch yourlineup.
So that was a nice one.
You can also buy packs, but I'mnot even going to jump into

Are the players temporary, bythe way?
Some are.
There'll be an event for theweek, and then when you open
your pack, you have the playerfor either five games or seven
days.

But it's because he's a reallygood player.
He's going to be in the 90s orhigh 80s, and then the rest of
your team's crap.

market so you can sell yourcards to people so the better
players that you have and youcan make money you can go and
buy the players that you want onyour team and let's say you
start with your 60 70 team ifit's been already eight months

then you can go buy a few andlike custom made your team but
when you get started that's whypeople are spending a a lot of
money to open packs.
It's to have those good playersand they're worth more.
And if they're temporary, isthat just to add parity in the
league so teams aren't likeoverpowered?
No, it's just events.
They'll have a special eventthat week and it's like a
temporary player that you get,but you're working to get those

kind of players in the packs.
So it's like a teaser.
