Are you a 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation Latino struggling to stay motivated and find the resilience to push through life? If so, you’re in the right place! I’ m Paul, and welcome to The Generation Latino Podcast, a podcast for ALL! On this show, I help Latinos tackle the challenges that come with generational setbacks by sharing my experiences of personal and professional challenges that I had to withstand to help me be the best version of myself. We will explore practical tips and solutions so that you too can feel motivated and resilient moving through life. As a first generation college graduate, grandson of a Mexican immigrant grandmother, a fatherless queer child, raised by a single mom; I know how hard it can be when you are born with the odds against you, when you don't have the opportunity or privilege to fall forward, but it was through motivation and resilience that I was able to become the best version of myself and that’s why I created this podcast—to make it easier for people like us to thrive and to stay motivated during discouraging times, to stay resilient, build a community of like-minded individuals and have FUN along the way. The show launches on Jan 20th! In the meantime, follow or subscribe to be the first to know when episodes drop. Thanks for checking out The Generation Latino Podcast! I’ll see you in the next episode! New episodes every Monday! Xoxo Paul

This episode wanders into the soft spaces our parents never had words for — the feelings they carried like overloaded suitcases, the truths that lived in the pauses, the love that showed up in actions because it couldn’t survive the weight of language.
We trace the lines between generations: how silence became tradition, how strength became armor, how tenderness sometimes got lost on the way to us. Not to judge the past, but to unde...
We waste so much of our energy caring about things that don’t actually matter — opinions, guilt, expectations, drama, and pressure that was never ours to begin with. In this episode, we’re talking about the real art of not giving two fcks: not becoming cold, but becoming selective. You’ll learn how to protect your peace, budget your emotional energy, and stop letting every little thing pull you out of alignment. If you’ve been feel...
This week, I sit down with Jacob Rodriguez, a powerhouse who bridges two worlds — mental health and fitness. He’s a Latino grad student pursuing his master’s in mental health and a CrossFit coach helping others build strength inside and out. We talk about redefining masculinity, the parallels between emotional and physical resilience, and what it really means to show up for yourself. It’s a conversation about healing, growth, and f...
