Forty years of family craftsmanship comes to life in this fascinating conversation with Roya Ghorashy of Tirajeh Jewelry. What began as a family jewelry boutique overseas has evolved into a treasured Orange County business with a reputation for exceptional quality, personalized service, and heirloom-worthy creations.

Meet Majid Azami, the master jeweler behind Tirajeh, who began learning his craft at just 14 years old. Following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and uncles, Majid's passion for jewelry creation runs so deep that inspiration often strikes at 2 or 3 AM, when he rises to sketch new designs. After establishing Tirajeh in Toronto for 20 years, the family brought their expertise to Laguna Niguel, where they continue to create custom pieces that celebrate life's most precious moments.

What sets Tirajeh Jewelry apart is their comprehensive approach to customer relationships. Beyond selling beautiful 18K and 14K gold pieces with certified diamonds, they offer professional appraisals, jewelry exchanges, and lifetime warranties that include free polishing and cleaning. Their boutique on La Paz Road serves not just as a store, but as a welcoming space where customers become friends over coffee and conversation about custom designs. With clients so satisfied they continue ordering from across the country, Tirajeh demonstrates that in the jewelry business, trust and craftsmanship are the true precious metals.

Visit Tirajeh Jewelry in Laguna Niguel, explore their daily collection updates on Instagram, or reach out through WhatsApp for custom designs. Experience the difference that generations of expertise brings to creating the jewelry that will mark your most meaningful moments. https://www.tirajehjewelry.com/

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, trj Jewelry is actually a jewelry store that is
founded I believe 40 years agoin back home with my husband's
father, that they had actuallythe jewelry boutique in back
home and then my husbandactually started very early to

(01:12):
work with his dad because hisfather, his grandfather, his
uncles, they're all in thisbusiness and he was actually
very interested to continue hisdad's job and started even
making the jewelry since he was,I believe, 14 years old, 15

(01:33):
years old and this businessactually it was founded, I
believe, as I said, 40 years agoin back home and then big my
husband actually had thisbusiness and helping his father.
And whenever we moved to Canada, to Toronto, my husband

(01:58):
actually moved exactly T-RodgerJewelry in Toronto and we had a
T-Rodger Jewelry boutique inToronto as well for 20 years.
And after we decided to move toCalifornia and Orange County,
my husband starts T-RodgeJewelry in California and it's

(02:20):
all the passion and he loves hisjob.
He's doing actually the best, the best jobs for jewelry, going
for crafted jewelry andenjoying Whenever he's working.
I believe he's not thinkingabout anything, just thinking

(02:40):
about jewelry and make hiscustomers happy and he's
enjoying his job.
And we have this boutique nowin Orange County, in Laguna,
niguel, that variety ofcollections for the 18K gold,
14k gold and black grounddiamonds, natural diamonds, all

(03:02):
with GIA and IGI certificates.
And the best thing is, myhusband is a specialist in all
these jewelry and gold and hecan actually make any design
that our clients and customerslove to have it and if they just

(03:23):
provide a picture or photo ofthe jewelry that they like, my
husband actually going throughand we have very 3D specialists
and professional designers thatwe are going to design and then
my husband going actually tomake for them and these are all

(03:43):
ours actually and he's enjoyingand try to provide the best
quality with the best value ofthe jewelry to nice clients that
we have it.
And this is the trust betweenactually our job and customers.
That is very important and, ashe is very special, he is just

(04:08):
spending a couple of hourssometimes for the clients to
explain for them, spending acouple of hours sometimes for
the clients to explain for them, especially for the lovely bride
and groom whenever they'recoming to get their engagement
ring or the wedding band, and hejust provides them all the
information and details for allthe diamonds and gold and the

(04:31):
design that they like and he'sgoing to make for them the
lovely ring that they're goingto have it their whole life, for
their new life actually andenjoy Wonderful.

Speaker 1 (04:43):

14 years and he is a specialistand the thing that our client
and love actually the thing thatour client and love actually

(06:17):
Majid, because he can apprisehis jewelries very, you know,
with the very details.
And if our client even have theold jewelry, majid even can
apprise one by one for them andgoing through the even, the
diamond, the clarity, thequality and even, uh, give them
the value, because customerssometimes they love to know the
value of their old jewelry andmagic, one by one, um, give them

(06:39):
actually the details of theirjewelry and they're so happy
that at least they know thevalue of their old jewelry and
and even if they want toexchange it with the new jewelry
, we do the exchange for them.
Or even if they want to justget the cash or gold bar, we can
actually exchange the oldjewelry for the cash or for gold
