(00:00):
Hello, hello, hello everybody.

(00:02):
What is going on?
Felicia Hale coming to you.
I would say live, but we're doing our first episode of our podcast.
You can call me hashtag hailforhealth.
And I'm really excited to get this podcast kicked off today.
Something I've been tinkering around with quite a bit, starting my own personal podcast.
I do have one for my ministry's page, but this page we are going to focus on hail for

(00:27):
health and its embodiment.
So if you're new to me and all things hail for health, then I will just give you a quick
rundown.
Again, my name is Felicia Hale, hashtag hail for health.
And I started this platform almost two years ago now, because I went on a personal health

(00:50):
journey.
I kind of reached the end of my rope and I started crying out to God about what to do.
I was bloated, I was puffy, I was inflamed, I was, you know, 40 pounds plus overweight.
I was going through a lot of things in my life, just constantly triggered, constantly

(01:11):
stressed.
And I one day just on my way to work have this come to Jesus moment where I broke down
in my car and I started crying and begging the God to show me something because I knew
I needed a change and I didn't know what that was going to look like.
But what I didn't know is all the things that I had been trying in the past either failed

(01:35):
or were not sustainable.
So I began to cry out.
Well, by the time I got to work, which at the time I had a 40 minute commute, by the
time I got there, my boss had actually come into the building and I hadn't seen him in
a while.
And he was looking really trim and I said, Hey, you know, what's going on?

(01:55):
You look like you lost quite a bit of weight.
He goes, Yeah, I'm down like 23 pounds.
My wife and I decided to do keto.
I'm like, you did a what now in a month, you lost 30 pounds.
It's about like what is going on with your life, Craig?
I need to figure it out.
So you know, I kind of wrote it down.

(02:15):
I was going to investigate it and I went to my desk and I sat down and I pulled up my
favorite ministries page.
I was a huge fan still am of Kenneth Copeland ministries.
And so I plugged in and I'm on there and he starts talking about nutrition, which is not
really something he usually talks about.

(02:36):
He's like a faith and prosperity preacher.
And he had on Dr. Colbert and he is a Colbert.
Not sure how you say that Don Colbert.
He is a keto doctor and they started talking about carbs and cytokines and inflammation

(02:57):
and all the things.
And I was like, Oh my gosh, are you kidding me?
Like this describes my life right now.
What are you talking about?
What's in the bun of a hamburger?
I mean, I get you have to see it to know what I'm talking about, but this was my internal
thought process.
And so I went on this journey with keto and it was super amazing.
I lost 30 pounds immediately.

(03:19):
I won't say immediately.
Like within the first month, I started noticing things healing.
I was diagnosed for those of you that don't know.
I was diagnosed with like over 30 health conditions, including cerebral palsy, autoimmunity, and
through the grace of God and his divine healing power and him showing me wisdom and revelation

(03:41):
and the fact that food is medicine and living in a ketogenic state can be healing to the
body really opened up my eyes and sparked me on the mission.
So I started teaching all my friends what I was learning about keto and encouraging
them to go keto.
And a lot of my friends were like, this is awesome, but I don't have the time to put

(04:02):
in.
I don't have the money to do the meal prep.
Like I'm the only one in the house that's doing this.
Like, excuse me.
This is kind of crazy friend.
Like is this the way you live your life?
And I hadn't been keto no Cheeto for like a year.
Excuse me.
And my friends like this is the way you live your life.

(04:24):
I'm like, yeah, man, you just got to buckle down and do it.
I was strict, clean keto.
I tracked all my macros.
I ate nothing but completely organic homemade fresh foods.
And I was really honestly quite happy, but something happened as the year was going by.
I was showing up to family events and gatherings and parties and I was just not really feeling

(04:49):
as energized.
You know, I was excited because there's different phases of ketosis.
You know, you have nutritional and therapeutic.
There's some more, but those are the two that I mainly focus on.
Therapeutic is where you, you get into the healing state, but it's also like a, I would
say like a state of enlightenment.

(05:09):
I feel like you can pull in closer to God when you don't have all the brain fog and
or, you know, into closer into your best spiritual self.
And I just think that is super amazing.
It took me over 32 days to achieve this by diet alone.
And once I got there, I was super pumped about it.
It was like, I was downloading words from heaven fast.

(05:32):
This could be there was no brain fog, no distractions, nothing really popping in the
brain.
And I loved it, you know, I was addicted, but I kept suppressing the way I was feeling
about going to these parties and saying no to food and having to bring my own food when
I go to my mom's to which I love my mom's cooking.

(05:53):
Okay, let's be for real.
My, my mom is a phenomenal cook and I will sit to eat her food anytime.
So you know, she got once I was keto for so long.
She got better about making salads and different things.
But when I was doing it so clean and so strict, it's hard to tell people like, is there soybean

(06:15):
oil in your mayo?
You know what I mean?
Like, I'm just asking.
And so I didn't want to really live like that anymore.
If I, if I'm being honest with you, it started stressing me out and I started releasing cortisol
again.
My cholesterol went up.
I was starting to gain weight even though I was doing keto.

(06:36):
I was starting to gain weight and it caused me to hit the super freak panic button and
it triggered me into some old habits with eating disorders.
And I began to go on prolonged periods of fasting, chewing my food and spitting it in
the garbage, throwing up after I ate something or, you know, eating something I knew I wasn't

(07:00):
supposed to have and then throwing it up or, or chewing it as much as possible and then
spitting it in the garbage.
And it's just, that was no way for me to live.
And I remember I went from 125, remind you I started at like close to 160, I'm five feet
tall.
So if you guys are going, that's not overweight.
I'm like, okay, but listen, I was like a five foot tall potato.

(07:23):
Okay.
It was not cute.
And I don't mean that disrespectfully to anybody in their journey, but we have to realize we're
all in different places.
You know what I'm saying?
So I started doing negative things.
And even though I am a Christian and I talked to God about it, I repented, I did all the
things that was still struggling with my progress.

(07:47):
I'm a very task oriented person.
I measured worth in progress for a very long time.
So this progress was not just a detriment to my health and wellness journey.
It was a detriment to my identity because progress measures worth in my mind before I was healed.
And so losing progress was loss of worth is what it ended up equating to.

(08:12):
Now I'm not saying that's a healthy mindset.
I'm just sharing with you guys what I went through.
So after I had been keto for about, how long was I keto?
I did it for a whole nother year with eating disorders and an unhealthy mindset.
I looked great.

(08:32):
Was not healthy internally.
And my doctor was like, what's going on?
You exercise all the time.
You're doing keto.
Why are you all of a sudden?
Your numbers are being crazy.
You're telling me you don't have energy.
And it was because I lost my desire.
I lost my will.
That lost the progress.
It really took the wind out of my sail.

(08:53):
And no matter how much fasting or keto or, you know, I would go on Amazon and buy these
exogenous ketones.
I would load up on pre-workout.
I would, you know, drink sugar free Red Bulls.
I was doing all these things because they were compliant with keto.
But I was just in search of that extra energy, that extra push.
I was showing up at the gym two times a day.

(09:16):
Just really trying to really commit to staying small because I knew that my body wanted to
do the yo-yo.
And I didn't want that to happen.
I was tired of being obese and sore and stiff and not playing with my children, laying on
the couch, just living a life that I didn't feel best suited me.
And my friend contacted me.

(09:39):
Oh, while about a year and a half, almost two years ago.
Actually in April, it'll be two years now.
Two years I did keto.
First year was good.
A bit of a struggle.
Second year was a complete mental breakdown.
By the third year, I was getting a call from a friend and remember I said I was clean strict
keto.
And she goes to me, Hey, friend, what do you know about exogenous ketones?

(10:00):
And I'm like, girl, bye.
Do not talk to me about no exogenous ketones.
Exogenous ketones are the devil.
They do not work.
I had tried them.
Remember, I ordered some off Amazon.
I thought I knew all the things.
I had years of research into keto.
And I go, I don't want anything to do with that.
I'm not paying for expensive urine anymore.

(10:21):
It totally jacked up my diet.
I hit a stall.
I'm done.
And she goes, Well, I hear what you're saying.
Like, don't be mad.
I kind of already started it.
And I'm like, why would you do that?
I kind of like lost it for a second.
She's like, well, listen, I've been listening to you, as she said, but I tried this product
and I really like it.
And I want you to try it too, because I trust you.
And if you tell me it's bad, I'll believe you.

(10:42):
And if you tell me it's good, then I think you should investigate it.
And I was like, okay.
So I immediately went on the website, bought the product.
And when it came to my house, I remember being excited, excited to support my friend, not
necessarily for the product, but my friend was going into business for herself.

(11:04):
And I wanted to support her.
So I pulled out my camera and I went online, I turned on Facebook live, and I started telling
people like, listen, I'm about to try these ketones.
Like my friend just started a business.
If you guys want to, if you're interested in this pans out, like I'm going to track
my journey live, you guys should hit her up.

(11:25):
And I tagged her in the video.
And so I started taking it within 20 minutes.
I'm not even kidding you.
I felt the effects.
It's ketosis in 59 minutes or less, regardless of the diet is what they run the campaign
on.
And so I started drinking these drinks and I was like, oh my gosh, like I was literally
feeling those same effects.

(11:46):
Remember I told you about nutritional and therapeutic ketosis.
I was feeling those therapeutic effects that lost a brain fog that clean thinking, that
clean burning.
So I was getting those downloads again and I felt closer to God.
I know it sounds weird, but like when your health is in order, your spirit is in order.

(12:07):
And that's what brings me to the hail for health is, you know, hail for health is a
few things.
There's four members of my family and I want complete and total health for each member
of my family, me, my husband and two sons.
And I started my journey alone.
Currently, my husband has recently within the last 48 hours decided to go keto.

(12:29):
So I'm at the point now where I feel like I'm making a difference, right?
I mean, not to not to mention the other people that I've helped, but just they're seeing
the journey now.
So it's really good for me to have that.
And I want to keep pursuing health on a level that encourages all four members of my family.

(12:50):
But the four inhale for health also stands for the four branches of health and that's
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual because they don't, you can't really separate
them.
You know, people will try and try.
And I mean, it's all well and good, but the truth is we really just can't.

(13:11):
And so I feel like it starts with physical health.
You know, I'd love to say it starts with spiritual health, but most people just aren't ready to
tackle that yet.
They have to tackle something that they can see, touch and understand.
So a lot of people start their journey with a physical health regiment and I am fully
supportive of that.
I love helping people get going on their journey, which is why I started this to share my story

(13:35):
and to tell you guys that if you're living depressed and you're on the couch and you're
not playing with your kids and you're snapping at your family and you're doing all the things
then you're listening to this podcast is not an accident.
You know, I believe that there was a divine appointment for you to hear that there are
people that went through these struggles and that they have found a better way of living.

(13:56):
And now that I don't have to worry so much about staying in a ketogenic state based off
what I'm eating because I have these drinks, I am actually more prone to staying keto because
my progress continues on.
Even if I eat the cookie, I tried to throw myself out of ketosis so I could test the
product live one day and I ate a pack of crackers and an Intamin's donut and I was

(14:22):
still in ketosis and it had been 17 hours since my last drink.
And I say that because I want you guys to understand that sometimes it's not that keto's not for
you or blah blah blah.
Sometimes it's that you have to have an added grace.
Okay.

(14:42):
Maybe you're the type of person where you've got it all figured out.
You wake up every morning and you head to the gym and you do your exercise and you don't
think twice about it.
Good for you.
I'm so happy that's you.
That used to be me and then life happened.
My body got sick and I had to change my way of thinking instead of shrinking down and allowing

(15:04):
myself to stay in the point of suffering because no matter how many times I tried going to
the gym and doing it naturally.
When I say naturally I mean by implementing copious amounts of exercise and eating salads.
I tried the military diet.
I've tried so many things and nothing has brought me success like my current regimen.

(15:24):
And so I made it my goal to not only share my regimen but to share what it's done for
my life because yes I've transformed my body.
I'm a completely different person.
I have been accused of having photos shopped before and afters.
I literally just completed a challenge from December to January and people are telling
me that's not the same girl.

(15:45):
That's not the same girl.
Rest assured my friend it is the same girl.
But at the same time no it's not because even though I've changed my body I've also changed
my mindset.
You see when I came into this community as a person who just wanted to buy the product
I was really excited and then I learned there was a way you could get the product for free
and I said well how do I get that?

(16:07):
Like I need this every day like I'm trying to get my whole family on it.
That was immediately my thought process because my husband was addicted to Red Bulls and he
had terrible migraines.
He ate terribly.
I mean it was he needed an intervention just as bad as I did if not more.
It just so happened that my body was kind of voted the underdog through my DNA.

(16:30):
So I praise God for healing.
You know what I'm saying?
I have since been healed.
I am on no medication.
I take my ketones which you know they are naturally fermented and completely you know
derived from God's creation.
There's no crazy thing in here that you can't go out and get from other earth.

(16:53):
And so I really liked that about this product but it was so much it became even more than
that because she plugged me into this group and she told me about the free product and
I get into the group and they're like I love you.
I love you.
Welcome home blah blah blah and I'm laughing because I'm like I am not joining this cult.
I do not want this.

(17:14):
Like I came for the free ketones.
Y'all with your crazy love can go somewhere.
I was an neglected abused child so I don't know how at the time to receive that kind
of love it was very strange for me to come into a place with strangers and receive such
an outpouring of love and care.
And then I thought well they must be bots.

(17:35):
Like I bet you this group has automatic people that do that.
And because nobody is really out here being that kind that nice like who takes the time
to really do that.
Because I know I wouldn't you know at the time because I was too defeated.
I didn't feel like I had enough of my cup to give to anybody else.
I was just trying to get mine full so that I could survive.

(17:57):
And something happened I got it I plugged into the community and then I started like seeing
these people in real life they're showing up and they're like no yes I am like welcome.
Like what do you mean like you're real I thought you were a bot like somebody you're not paying
somebody to run your account like that's crazy you're going to show up and continue to help
me grow every single day.

(18:19):
Wow.
And so it helped me springboard because I always had this feeling that I wanted to start
my own business.
I had tried entrepreneurship since I was 12 years old.
I mean I started babysitting I mean even younger than that I started a lemonade stand I started
babysitting in the dark ages.
I did some things I'm not proud of I had some hustles going and you know I tried all the

(18:41):
Avan it works I won't sit here and name all the companies but I've tried a bunch and they
never worked they always just got plugged in handed a bunch of product after of course
I spent my money buying the buy-in kit and then never saw the person who signed me up
again and if I did it was like do you need more business cards are you going to order

(19:02):
more products soon.
Nothing like hey do you need help growing your business like I know you're a level 6
ruby or diamond or whatever it was at the time and you're already making your cash
but like I want to make mine so like that's why I came here maybe you want to invest in
me a little bit but they never did so when I found out that I had access to training

(19:25):
for 24 hours a day 70s a week I was like this is not real.
Literally all the things that I was using as excuses all the things that had prevented
me from succeeding before were completely eliminated and obliterated I had no excuses
my job was to literally just show up and plug in and so I started doing that from my broken

(19:48):
state and what I realized is doing this business from my home from my phone it gave me a place
to heal.
I had lost jobs because I was calling in sick to work and not being able to show up as my
best self it was no reflection of my work ethic because my work ethic is very strong
and no one was condemning me harder than me for calling in for that time off but my body

(20:09):
was physically saying girl you ain't moving and I had no choice and now not only is my
body not feeling that way anymore not only do I not have those issues but if I did need
a space to heal which sometimes I still do I've had other things come up I've recently
been going through a battle with histamine and you know there's always going to be something

(20:33):
right you're going to need that time for your kids play you're going to need that time for
that random vacation to go to your sister in law's freaking Rancho Bernardo golf course
home in San Diego yes that's real and so like you know I just I wanted that freedom and
I always have because I knew that my grandma used to always say Felicia you will never

(20:56):
have a job because you don't listen to anyone you don't like anyone telling you what to
do and she was right for a long time I didn't like people telling me what to do I always
thought I had a better way and it just it it wasn't necessarily that I was young and
arrogant it's that I had a god it made investments in me when I was a child and those investments

(21:20):
became louder and stronger the more time I spent avoiding them and it started to feel
like lost cause and purpose but when I found a way to plug in when I found a way to like
discover what my passion really was and turn it into an income with a group of people that
were going to support me no matter what I mean if you like making cups like do that you know

(21:44):
I'm saying like it doesn't matter this is can be just a vehicle for whoever and that's
what it was for me and so it inspired me my family's getting healthy and I was already
in ministry leadership so the spiritual aspect was super easy I already had that for a long
time I tried to keep it separate because I didn't want to combine my health and wellness

(22:07):
with my spiritual journey because I thought well people who aren't spiritual won't come
to me then because they won't be able to relate to my health journey if I'm always talking
about Jesus and I realized that there was really no separation in that for me because
Jesus is a part of who I am and if you know me IRL I'm going to talk about him anyway
so why am I acting like it's not such a big part of my life once I fully embraced that

(22:31):
I began to explode things started happening in my life and in my business and my ministry
that were just unbelievable and I feel really good about the trajectory I have not made
it to a six figure in a month yet but that is my goal and I know that I will and that's
why I'm here because I don't want it just for me I want it for my family okay I want

(22:53):
financial freedom for everyone that I know love and care about and I want to help other
people break free from these oppressing chains from this world of sickness from this financial
dependency on dark systems corporate America credit cards and debt driving mongrel systems

(23:15):
I mean it has no place in living in abundance and that is what I really ultimately want
to teach people so I do a lot of coaching on mindset I've opened up my brand to do a
lot more coaching on entrepreneurship it turns out there's a lot more in me on that note
than what I realized and I want to share it I also want to share with people about the

(23:38):
benefits of ketogenic lifestyle I want to share about the benefits of emotional health
and taking mind control over your feelings because I mean I won't get into it that's
a whole nother thing but but there's so much based on my journey that I've had to learn
and overcome that now I just want to pour out for all of you guys so this has been my
