Hebrews 11:17–29 highlights moments when God’s people demonstrated faith in extreme tests — from Abraham offering Isaac to Moses leading Israel through the Red Sea.
Full Description:
In Hebrews 11:17–29, Abraham’s willingness to offer Isaac stands as one of Scripture’s most profound acts of faith, trusting God to raise the promise back to life. Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph each looked forward to God’s promises beyond their lifetimes. Moses chose to be identified with God’s people rather than enjoy Egypt’s fleeting pleasures, keeping his eyes on the unseen reward. By faith, Israel crossed the Red Sea on dry ground, while the Egyptians who attempted it were swallowed up.
