Teresita ‘Ging’ Quintos Deles is a trailblazing Filipina feminist, peace advocate, and former government official. She began her career as a teacher, became a powerful voice for women’s rights and poverty reduction, and made history in 2003 as the first woman appointed as Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. Ging played a key role in the signing of the 2014 Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro, one of the most significant peace deals in Philippine history. She’s worked with international organizations like the UN and ASEAN, and in 2012, she received the N-Peace Award for her leadership in peacebuilding. Most recently, she returned to the national spotlight as one of the lead complainants in the historic impeachment case filed against Vice President Sara Duterte.
