Real stories. Honest chats. Stuff that actually matters. I’m Pete George, an Australian photographer and storyteller. Hey Georgie is where we talk creativity, resilience, and paying attention — not just through the camera but in life. No gear talk or chasing the latest fad here. It’s about what catches our eye, what sticks with us, and why we keep showing up — even when no one’s clapping. Sometimes I get personal. Other times, I bring on folks who’ve been through their stuff. But it’s always real, reflective, and all about connection. No fluff. No ego. Just curiosity, purpose, and the occasional dose of black-and-white truth.

• Out of 360 frames, I'd typically lose only 30-40 shots and deliver 80-100 final...

If you’ve ever felt unseen while building something meaning...
In this episode, Pete George—better known to some as Georgie—opens the door to where this all began.
At 59, he’s starting again. But not from scratch. From experience.
This is a raw, honest reflection on the years behind the camera, the battles most people never see, and the reason he’s finally going all in on storytelling through Peter George Media.
It’s not just about photography.
It’s about reinvention. Mental illness....
This isn’t just another podcast about photography, and it’s not about chasing trends.
In this opening episode of Hey Georgie – Conversations Through the Lens and Life, Georgie sets the tone for what’s to come: honest stories, personal moments, and the kind of conversations that don’t always make it to the surface.
He shares how photography helped him see the world differently — and how life behind the lens became a life...
