Good to see you, ladies again.
How's your week been?
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Wonderful Skip.
How about yours, it's?
Speaker 2 (00:54):
been good Been.
Super busy and hot, but good.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
Rochelle how about
you, good Busy?
I think everybody's summers aregetting eaten up by fun and all
the fun events that go on.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
All right, that's
awesome.
That's what summer's for.
So, speaking of summer, summerusually involves a lot of water.
Well, we should be drinking it,but you know you play in a lot
of water.
But I know that today's topicgets close to home for so many.
Let's help our listeners cutthrough the noise about detoxing
.
How do I safely detox fromcontaminants in my food and
(01:30):
water?
Rochelle?
Speaker 4 (01:32):
I think, first, it's
important to listen back to our
previous episodes that we talkeda lot about diet and nutrition
and making sure that you've gota clean plate to start with,
because that's really going tosupport your body and limit the
toxins that come in.
The next thing that we wouldlook at is are you having any
(01:53):
reactions, are you having anyallergies, because that is often
a sign that you do need todetox.
So we would probably start withlooking at food and the foods
specifically for your body thatyou may want to adjust or tweak
or add in or maybe remove, andthen we have a lot of great
supplements to support the gutand the biome in your gut that
(02:18):
support your immune system.
So that's probably where wewould start with many people.
Anne, would you like toelaborate?
So that's probably where wewould start with many people.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Ann, would you like
to elaborate?
Yes, first of all, as Rochellesaid, we want to limit the
toxins we take in, because citywater and just filtered water
have a lot of contaminants stillin there, like hormones and the
glyphosate, things that are notfiltered out.
So you want a good water filterin your house, or to choose
(02:52):
good water that comes from agood aquifer, so that you don't
bring in contaminants to startwith, and the same with food
making sure you're eatingorganic, because you don't want
to bring in the toxins as muchas possible.
Once we get to that point, though, then you have heavy
(03:14):
metals and things like thatstored in the body.
They get stored in the fattytissue.
They can cross into theblood-brain barrier because the
brain is mostly fat, and so wewant to detox these heavy metals
and other contaminants from thebody.
We have a product called CleanSweep that really helps to pull
(03:39):
the heavy metals out of the body, and we can also do our
holopathics, which targetsspecific toxins and help to pull
those out.
Of course, making sure you'redoing something like juicing.
I've recently learned andstarted doing celery juice first
(04:02):
thing in the morning.
That really helps to reset thebody and you can get organic
celery from Walmart and otherplaces, and there's some really
good juicers out there that makeit quick and easy to create
some celery juice first thing inthe morning, and so you would
do that before eating ordrinking anything else.
(04:26):
So celery juice first thing inthe morning and then eating a
good diet, using something likeour clean sweet to help pull the
toxins and the heavy metals outof the body.
But also you want to do thisslowly, because when you go
through any kind of detox, youcan feel like you're having
(04:49):
flu-like symptoms or justheadaches and things like that,
and so we don't want to makepeople feel worse and we can use
our muscle testing system todetermine which heavy metals
we're talking about or whichtoxins whether that's toxins
from food or toxins from theenvironment or a geopathological
(05:13):
toxin, radiation, you name it.
We can test for it and thenslowly develop a program to
gradually pull these out of thebody Because, let's face it, you
have gradually pull these outof the body Because, let's face
it, you have to pull them out.
They have to come out throughthe skin, perspiration etc.
And that can cause rashes and, like I said, flu-like symptoms
(05:37):
etc.
And somebody can get really, really sick by pulling these
toxins out of the body.
People get toxins fromvaccinations, even from four
generations back.
So that means whatever toxinsyour parents, grandparents,
great-grandparents,great-great-grandparents brought
(05:59):
in whether it was lead, mercury, arsenic etc.
Those come in through the birthprocess, through the gestation,
in the mother.
So we have to look at pullingthose out and you may not even
know you have those.
You may know you grew up in ahouse that was pre-1900 and may
(06:23):
have had lead-based paint or mayhave had arsenic in the water
if you had well water, thingslike that.
And then we know about theglyphosates that have been in
the recent environment.
But then there was DDT back inthe 50s and people took baths in
that.
They sprayed crops, sprayedchildren, you name it.
(06:46):
All of those things are stillin the body and we want to
gradually pull those out.
We wanna use plenty of goodwater to flush those.
We wanna use something likeClean Sweep to pull those out
gradually, eating good food sowe don't put more in there.
(07:06):
But then the more gradually wepull them out, the more
comfortable it will be and wewon't have as many rashes and
things like that directlyrelated to the detox.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Wow, hormones and
heavy metals yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
The hormones from,
like the pill birth control
contraceptives.
People will toss them, throwthem in the toilet and flush
them.
So you'd be surprised what allyou find in our water.
Wow, Well and think about it.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
The city water is
purified from what goes in the
body and what comes out.
And if you are taking acontraceptive, where does the
wastewater go?
You also have the runoff fromagrochemicals and all that Not
as maybe as much in this countryas in some others.
(07:59):
Like China has a huge number ofagrochemicals and pesticides.
They use like 1.83 billion tonsof pesticides compared to India
that uses like half a billion.
So all of that runoff goes intothe water as well.
So even if you are eatingorganic, you might still be
(08:22):
getting pesticide residue incity water.
You have to think about thatwhen you're looking at the water
you take in A good home waterfiltration system.
But then the water that youpurchase, look at the source of
that.
Something like Fiji or Splendoror Holstein, something from
(08:44):
good deep earth aquifers in goodlocations that don't have that
runoff.
That's important these days.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Wow.
So doing it slowly is veryimportant, because otherwise it
could be harmful.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Yes, yeah, you can
get really sick from a detox.
Dr Brudy once said that you candie from a detox if it's too
much.
Wow.
So you have to think about that.
These chemicals and thingsstored deeply in the body when
you start detoxing, you'repulling them out, they're
getting into the bloodstream sothey're active again, like
(09:23):
mercury.
And my surgery is my cancerdiagnosis.
One was after I had some majordental work done and it was
mercury fillings that I didn'thave the right dentist.
If you're going to have mercuryfillings removed, you have to
find a dentist that is reallyvery adept at putting you on
(09:44):
oxygen, building a dam in thebody that knows how to do that.
Otherwise you can get reallysick from that process.
So all of that really isimportant.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
Well, and if you
think about it, it's almost like
your body is used to havingthese things in it.
So if you make a major changeall at once, like your body
doesn't know how to react tothat, or a change all at once,
like your body doesn't know howto react to that.
So the more gentle you are, theslower you go.
People like me we just want toget it done, but when you look
(10:15):
at the cost benefit ratio todoing it quickly versus slowly,
you're gonna see more of thebenefit by going slower because
you won't be miserable wow well.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
And it's just like
weight loss the slower you do
things, the easier it is on thebody, and that's what you want.
You want the balance, thehomeostasis, and you want it to
be gentle.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
You mentioned celery
juice.
Are there other foods thatsupport or hinder detox efforts?
Speaker 3 (10:50):
juice.
Are there other foods thatsupport or hinder detox efforts?
Well, of course you want toavoid too much sugar or soda or
anything like that, and too manycarbs or simple carbs are not
good.
Now a good whole grain likesourdough bread is going to
really help support the body, provide good bacteria.
The roughage really helps topull things out.
(11:12):
Inulin fiber, and good fiberlike in inulin fiber from fruits
like apples, helps to pull thetoxins out and flush them
through more quickly.
The same with a good bread thathas good organic grains.
You've got the roughage thathelps to pull the toxins through
(11:32):
the digestive system morequickly.
So things like that are reallyhelpful.
And it's just that celery juicehas one of those properties of
pulling things out and helpingto reset the body.
Pomegranate juice is anotherone that's good for a certain
kind of bacteria that helpssupport the body.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
Well, and to support
that, though, you would also
want to limit your meats, somaking sure to get protein from
other sources while you're doinga detox, because meat is really
hard on the body to digest, soto let those fibrous is really
hard on the body to digest, soto let those fibrous leafy
greens do their job moreeffectively, you would want to
limit your red meat, especiallythose really heavy proteins,
(12:15):
while you're doing a detox.
Fish would probably be okay aslong as it's from a good source
with no mercury, but thoseheavier meats would probably
slow the process down quite abit heavier meats would probably
slow the process down quite abit.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Yes, in fact, dr
Verrilli once said anybody
facing a major cancer diagnosisor anything, if you eat meat at
all, only do white fish and onlyin the morning.
And so anyone who eats meat orfish, you need a good source of
that Doesn't have the chemicals, that doesn't have the hormones
included in it, and so organicmeat and only if you're going
(12:54):
through a detox, limit those, avoid them if at all possible,
but severely limit any kind ofprotein source like that.
Protein source like that.
You can do eggs, but do them,do organic ones, and just be
careful with the sourcing.
(13:14):
That's the most important thingto take in here.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
So hopefully local
eggs, like I got a neighbor
that's got chickens, that's okay.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Oh yeah, that's
probably the best kind.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
The more colorful the
shells, the better.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Absolutely love them.
Well, ladies, this wasincredibly enlightening.
