Speaker 2 (01:02):
I'm just fine,
rochelle, how are you?
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Doing well.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
thank you, awesome.
How are you?
I'm just fine, rochelle.
How are you Doing well?
Thank you, awesome, awesome.
Well, being the old guy that Iam, I'm very interested in our
subject matter today because Isometimes have pain that I
didn't used to have.
So my question is how can aperson use holographic health to
manage pain?
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Remember, that
Question is how can a person use
holographic health to managepain?
Skip, pain is something thatI've had to learn to manage a
lot in my lifetime.
First of all, our last segmentwas on inflammation, and that is
the first thing that we canwatch that learn a lot about
reducing inflammation in yourdiet and that can help with pain
(01:45):
.
I had several surgeries overthe last 15 years and I was very
fortunate to meet Dr Baruti, the founder of Holographic
Health, and he really helped meto reduce my pain level
significantly.
Reduce my pain levelsignificantly and pain can be
(02:09):
caused by many different things.
We're not advocating that youjust try to manage your pain
totally without your painmedication.
If you have had a surgery, ifyou have chronic pain, we work
with traditional medicine, butto minimize the amount of
intervention that you have touse with traditional drugs and
(02:33):
things like that.
And Dr Broody looked at me oneday and he said you can reduce
your pain level.
You have control over it.
I learned things that I can docertain motor movements that
cause me more pain, certainsupplements that I can take to
reduce pain.
(02:54):
So those are some of the thingsthat you have control over as
an individual.
Now, when you have a surgery andyou're kind of at the mercy of
your body's healing capabilities.
You may have to take somesignificant drugs in order to
(03:16):
get through the time it takesfor the body to heal enough and
I went through that two and ahalf years ago to heal enough,
and I went through that two anda half years ago.
The last surgery I had wasextremely painful.
I had surgery in my mouth andI've had surgery in my neck area
, and so it took time for thatto heal enough for me to stop
(03:39):
using the pain medications.
Also, I learned that you canutilize ibuprofen in a way to
reduce your pain significantly.
Three ibuprofen taken fourtimes a day is actually an
anti-inflammatory and willreduce pain quite a bit.
It will also really hurt yourgut.
(04:02):
You can get a bad stomachproblem by taking too much
ibuprofen, so we really want tolimit that as much as we can.
Sometimes we just don't have achoice to get through today, but
the whole idea is to try to eatwell to reduce your
(04:22):
inflammation.
Like we said, eating organicfood, eating a good diet, eating
foods that are kind to yourbody.
But then we also have somenatural supplements that really
help with pulling the toxins outof the body that help to soothe
(04:42):
the body and by doing that wecan reduce inflammation and pain
.
Now white willow bark has beenused for many years by the
Native American culture and manypeople are familiar with that
and we have a supplement calledAAway that has white willow bark
(05:06):
, magnesium and some otheringredients that really help to
reuse inflammation and pain.
And I've had people that saywhen they have a headache they
take four Ake-Away and they'refine.
And I usually take Ake-Awaybefore I go to bed or if I'm
having pain throughout the dayI'll take 2-4-8-A-Way and it
(05:30):
will really help that pain levelin a natural way and the
magnesium helps to feed the bodyand soothe the body so you
don't really get so much stomachupset.
White willow bark can stillcause stomach upset, so usually
(05:52):
I'll also take our HHS product, which is good for the gut.
When I'm taking Akaway.
I have to take some ibuprofen ifI'm having a really difficult
day with pain.
So that's one thing that wehave that anybody can use to
(06:13):
help with daily pain.
We also have a product calledCherry Gold.
I take this every day becauseit really helps me with those
aches and pains that come alongas you get older and joint pains
and stuff like that andarthritic type pains, is
(06:34):
designed for that type ofsupport for the body.
We're not a medical clinic.
We do not manage pain medically.
We utilize supplements to helpsupport the body so the body and
the mind and the spirit canwork on the pain, and to help
(06:57):
provide the nutrition to supportthe body.
That way, to provide thenutrition to support the body.
That way, the cherry gold canreally help support the body
with these arthritic conditionsand things like that.
That can really help to reducethat inflammation we're talking
about and we have some topicalproducts that can really help to
(07:17):
build a bridge over the area, that can soften scar tissue,
like our Canforub.
Canforub is based in peanut oiland I really didn't know this
until recently.
I thought why on earth did DrBerudi use peanut oil in
Canforub, peanut oil in camphorrub?
(07:45):
Well, I found out it's an oldfolk remedy for reducing
inflammation in the muscles andthe joints.
So it's inherent in the productin the peanut oil and we get
organic.
We have organic peanut oil.
We specify everything we canget organic or if we can't get
organic, it's tested well.
So this is a natural camphor inpeanut oil.
(08:07):
So it goes in and builds abridge over the body so that
energetically, the body can heal.
When you have a surgery and youhave an incision, like I've had
on my neck, the energy flowsinto that scar and gets stuck
like it's in a ditch, and sothat's why you have a lot more
(08:30):
trouble healing when you've hada surgery and a scar, sometimes
because the energy is notflowing well through that area.
So if you put kefir rub overthat, it makes it feel better
topically, it helps the tissuesto heal and reduce inflammation
(08:50):
and then it helps to soften thescar tissue.
So if you have a scar, you needto work on that as soon as you
can, because scar tissue growsin all these different ways.
It's not the smooth muscle andtissue that was there before and
that can grab onto the othertissues and pull and it can
(09:15):
really hurt.
So working on that yourself orgetting a massage therapist, a
practitioner who is trained inbreaking up scar tissue, if you
can't manage to work on ityourself, well enough, that can
really help.
(09:36):
So we have one other productI'll talk about is our Alchoway,
which is for feeding musclesand helping them to work, to
soothe them after you've gone ona run, or let's say you've got
muscle cramps, something likethat, and you can use these
(09:58):
together and you can put outyour weight on and count for a
rub over it.
Dr maruti's wife was a runnerand so he developed that for her
because it really helped herwhen she would run.
And so these are ways to feedthe muscles, calm down the
inflammation, both topically andinternally, and then you know,
(10:24):
use the drugs when you have toneed to.
But if you can utilize theseinstead of or in addition to and
minimize the drugs you take, then you can be healthier, you
can live an easier life, andRochelle recently had a rear end
(10:47):
and maybe tell us about thatand how you utilize some of
these products to help youthrough that.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Sure, yeah.
So about a month ago I was in aminor car.
Then I was rear-ended and hadwhiplash.
I think it wasn't a significantwhiplash, but I quickly learned
that any whiplash is terribleit's whiplash.
Not a fun experience.
Right, there are differentlevels of it, but I would have
(11:15):
considered mine fairly minor.
But I was in a lot of pain.
I had a really bad headache forsix or seven days that just
would not go away.
And I was able to manage thatwith both the internal
supplements that Anne wasreferencing and also the topical
products that we have.
So taking internal ibuprofenoff and on with the Akaway and
(11:39):
kind of getting both thingsgiving the nutrition that my
body needed to address the painand also just taking the edge
off with the ibuprofen, doingwhat I needed to do, just to
function.
And then topically, most of myinjury was muscle and tendon
related.
So these topical products thatshe's talking about the Campo
(12:03):
Rub and the Ouch Away, also sometopical magnesium, really
helped to feed those muscles, torelax them.
Applying heat with a heat packwhen I needed that, just really
trying to rest and kind of babythose muscles back to health.
Epsom salts you know all thethings that we just know we have
in our tool belt.
I kind of used all of it.
(12:25):
But the things that really gaveme the relief were ibuprofen
for the inflammation, the Acawayfor the inflammation internally
and then the Acaway and Canforatopically often throughout the
day with some magnesiumtopically, just really helped me
(12:46):
get over the worst of it.
And then listening to my bodylike getting some massage, just
tight the really tight muscles, getting some adjustments, making
sure that everything was inline and getting enough rest
really has been a big key stillin the healing process from that
.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Very good.
Well, I'm glad you're betterand sorry to hear that you had
an accident.
That's terrible, but I got toget me some of this Akaway stuff
that sounds fantastic terrible, but I got to get me some of
this Akoa stuff that soundsfantastic.
So, besides, besides thetopical and internal supplements
that you guys were just talkingabout, what are some other
practical daily techniques, besides supplements that you can
(13:27):
use to balance your energy andreduce pain?
Speaker 4 (13:32):
So Ann, let her talk
just a little bit about it.
But she developed this teacalled pain tea.
She was looking up all thesedifferent herbs and and other
natural remedies and shediscovered that she could just
put them all in a tea and sip onit all day long and it kind of
just gave her a little morerelief throughout the day.
(13:54):
She found that she could sip onit all day long and it kind of
just gave her a little morerelief throughout the day.
She found that she could sip onit all day long and kind of get
a little more relief that way.
And do you want to talk aboutsome of the ingredients that you
researched and put in this tea?
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Well, I can't really
take credit for developing the
tea.
I had a good friend who's alsoa medical doctor who told me
that when you take ibuprofenthere's kind of like a bomb
going off in your stomach, andso you really want to limit that
as much as you can.
So there are things in the tealike licorice root and licorice
(14:34):
root is really good for thestomach and anti-inflammatory in
itself.
Black cohosh root, peony root, meadow sweet, which really helps
the body to taste good as well.
It's good for heartburn also.
Kudzu, which is a really goodfood.
Ginger root, which is a reallygood food.
(14:55):
Ginger root ginger has beenused in many cultures over the
centuries for reducinginflammation and for healing in
general, and it's also good forreducing pain.
And some sunflower, which isalso good for pain and
inflammation.
So all of these are good forinflammation, which make them
(15:20):
good for reducing pain.
And you know anything that youcan do naturally, and sipping on
a tea throughout the day is areally easy thing to do.
So that's something that I doregularly and I'll sometimes mix
it with other teas, and tea isalso very good for you, and
(15:41):
herbs are really good for you, even black tea.
But once again, I'm going to say, if you're going to buy tea,
organic tea is still the bestbecause of all the pesticides.
Sipping tea is relaxing.
Taking a bath in epsom saltsand the suggested amounts there
(16:03):
are three cups of epsom salts, ahalf a cup of baking soda and
you can put essential oils inthere with you and soak in this
hot tub of epsom salts water andit is amazing how that will
feed the muscles, relax themuscles, and I've done this
every day or two religiouslyover the last 15 years because
(16:31):
it just really helps this areato relax.
And I just don't have themusculature, this area, to relax
and I just don't have themusculature I used to have.
And so by the end of the day,my muscles are like this and
that relates into pain.
So doing things like that, whenyou are in tune with your body
(16:52):
and you realize I'm in more painbecause I'm really, my muscles
are tired and stressed and hard,so I need to go, get in the tub
and relax, sip on a nice cup ofhot tea and work on that to
help my body to recover.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Dr Broody developed a
pain chart, a pain scale, and
before he passed away he added avery interesting category which
I can attest that it needed tobe on there severe itching.
So itching is a type of painand Dr Brody always said that
you don't die from injury orillness, you die from pain.
(17:34):
So that just zapped your energy, your body can't function.
So severe itching is alsosomething that you want to
address and is extremelyuncomfortable.
I had a severe itch severaltimes and I couldn't function.
I couldn't think I couldn'thave a conversation without just
(17:56):
thinking about this itching.
So you want to also manage andjust find other ways to address
the different types of pain thatyou may encounter.
For skin irritations, you know, making sure you keep the area
clean and hydrated and moistened.
Drinking plenty of water usingtopical things and moistened.
(18:18):
Drinking plenty of water usingtopical things like the
lightening, just to get the pain, take the edge off the pain so
that you can get some relief andthen treat it.
Oatmeal, oatmeal strokes, verygentle cleansers, not using
harsh cleansers or alcohol, avoiding the germic, like the
hand sanitizer, because it ispure alcohol, so really soothing
the skin, making sure thatyou're feeding it and keeping it
(18:40):
moisturized and healthy andthen, when you need to, using
something like a lidocaine creamto take that edge off so that
you can restore the health tothe skin and the itch area and
identifying what's causing theitch.
Again, using some of ourholographic health muscle
testing is also really helpful.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Oh, very good.
Wow, that's a lot ofinformation.
Good stuff, though Managingpain is something we all got to
do, so thank y'all so much forall that you're offering to us
today.
Anne-marie Rochelle, thank youso much.
Love it.
We'll catch you in the nextepisode.
