How Do Skin Issues Impact Your Overall Health?

Your skin speaks volumes about what's happening inside your body. When unexplained breakouts, rashes, or chronic conditions like eczema and psoriasis appear, they're often signaling deeper imbalances that need attention. Skip Mauney sits down with Reverend Ann Marie Byars & Rachelle Gianaris to uncover the fascinating connections between skin health and total wellness.

Beyond identifying triggers through methods like Holographic Health muscle testing, the experts share practical solutions for restoring skin health from both inside and out. They discuss beneficial products like Holo-Skin oil, containing organic botanicals such as lotus and carrot seed oil, and internal supplementation targeting nutritional foundations of skin repair. This episode transforms your understanding of skin issues from mere cosmetic concerns to valuable communications from your body signaling areas requiring healing attention. Whether you're struggling with persistent skin problems or simply want to maintain radiant skin naturally, these insights offer a pathway to address both symptoms and underlying causes for true healing.

Skip Monty here, co-host slashproducer, back in the studio

(00:48):
with Reverend Anne-Marie Byersand Rochelle Gianaris.
Anne-marie and Rochelle, how'sit going?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Wonderful.
How about you Skip?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I'm doing just fine, doing just fine, rochelle.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Doing well, thank you .

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Awesome.
What we talked about in ourlast episode was getting into.
We touched on it a little biton skin issues, so I thought we
would kick this off by askinghow do skin issues impact your
overall health?
Rochelle, you want to tacklethat?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
That is a great question.
It can have a lot of differentissues.
It can show you some underlyingallergies that you may be
experiencing.
It can show you environmentaltoxins wreaking havoc.
Your skin is a great way foryour body to get rid of toxins,
so it's actually a good thing ifyou're having toxins being

(01:37):
released through your skin.
It may not be comfortable, butit's a good sign that your body
is detoxing and getting that outof your body and it's not just
sitting that your body isdetoxing and getting that out of
your body and it's not justsitting there to wreak further
havoc.
But when we're talking aboutdealing with those skin issues,
it really depends a lot on thetype of issue that you're having
and the symptoms that you'reexperiencing.
Those are going to kind of helpguide us as to how we support

(02:01):
getting your skin back to health.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
How does diet and gut health influence?
Skin health Does it.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Absolutely so.
Your diet is a big part.
Your food is your firstmedicine.
We love to say that.
So if your food is not reallynourishing your body, your skin
may be the thing to tell youthat that is the case.
Maybe you have kind of gonethrough life with a minor

(02:31):
allergy to something, but then,as you get older, your body has
trouble getting rid of theallergen and it's starting to
show itself, and it could bethrough your skin.
So diet can have a big impacton your skin.
The quality of the productsthat you use on your skin can
also impact the health of yourskin.
So making sure that you useclean products, very low

(02:55):
ingredient products, that wayyou can kind of decipher well,
am I reacting to this ingredientor this ingredient?
Is this brand really just notgood for me?
Is my detergent got stuff in itthat you know?
It can be tricky to figure out.
Well, what is it?
What's causing it?
But luckily with holographichelp we can muscle test to see

(03:18):
what our body is reacting to.
So it can also help give usanswers when we're really just
not sure.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Interesting.
Well, what are some common skinconditions that indicate a
deeper health problem?

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Of course.
So something that I experiencedmyself was I had a really bad
eczema breakout.
I believe they called itdyshidrosis eczema, so it was
really like these fluid-filleditchy spots on my hands that
would come and go and get worseif I ate something.
So, using our methods, usingholographic health muscle
testing, we were able to figureout what exactly was causing it,

(03:57):
and it was mostly a nutritionalwell, something in the food
that I was having a reaction to,and certain foods had more of
this.
I believe it was glyphosate wasthe big culprit.
So there were certain foods thathad more glyphosate in it that
really just threw my body for aloop and you know, I would have

(04:19):
these recurring itchy spells.
So, through our testing, wewere able to narrow down okay,
what is it?
And that way I could avoid itor limit it to the best of my
ability.
It, and that way I could avoidit or limit it to the best of my
ability.
Some other things that we mightsee are rosacea type, really
redness, other itchy things andwhat are some other things that

(04:41):
you would say that we see oftenas far as skin issues.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Well, of course, the psoriasis and there can be some
candida.
You know there can be fungusissues along with some allergic
reactions.
So allergic reactions are thefirst thing and also sometimes
it's the food people are eating,or sugar.

(05:06):
Sugar is the worst thing youcan do for skin.
Kids especially do notunderstand this.
They will drink a sugar-filledsoda and not realize it's not
the chocolate.
Chocolate is actually good foryou.
It is the sugar and sometimesthe oils that they use processed

(05:28):
sugars and oils that are notgood for the skin.
So these are what causebreakouts and it's using the
wrong oils.
We talked about good oils likeolive oil and coconut oil being
really good both internally andexternally for the skin
internally and externally forthe skin but it's the sugar, the

(05:54):
glyphosates, roundup, reallyall the processed foods,
processed sugars, processed oilsthat cause the skin to react.
But it's actually better tohave a reaction in the skin,
otherwise it goes deeper in thebody.
That's why some of the thingspeople do to suppress reactions

(06:19):
really cause them to go deeperin the body and then just build
up.
So I tell people when they'rehaving stuff come out of the
skin well, that's a good thing.
That's the most superficiallevel of the body and it's much
better to have it come out ofthe skin than get stuck in the
digestion, in the liver, in theorgans of the body.

(06:43):
Have it come out of the skin butthen cleanse that and people
may go through a detox.
But then cleanse that andpeople may go through a detox.
I've gone through really somesignificant detoxes where things
have come out of the skin oryou may feel nauseous from that,
but the first symptom is skinand years ago I had a lot of

(07:06):
trouble with psoriasis which wasakin to eczema.
I had splotches all over myneck and face from reactions to
clothing.
I remember when I was a kidhaving reactions to laundry
detergent my mother was using, just trying to eliminate,

(07:27):
elimination of things that mightbe causing it.
And, like Rochelle was saying,we can test these things and to
help guide people in thisprocess of elimination and
detoxing these poisons in thebody.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
So technically, the saying you are what, what you
eat is pretty accurate, right?

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Absolutely yes.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
So I guess I should be worried that I might end up
looking like a walking pizzaslice.
I absolutely love pizza.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
You can make that more healthy.
You know, you can use healthiercrust, healthier cheese,
healthier oils, and so we loveour pizza too, but we get whole
grain, organic crust.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
We make our own?
Oh, very nice, very nice.
But for those who have had skinissues, like you guys have had,
what kind of approaches do youuse to help restore balance to
both skin and overall well-being.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Yes, so, after we've identified the issue and
hopefully started working oneliminating what's causing the
skin issues, we want to restorehealth to the skin itself.
So you know, your skin is yourbiggest organ, your body's
largest organ, so there's a lotof terrain to cover biggest
organ, your body's largest organ, so there's a lot of terrain to
cover.
One of the main things torestore health and vitality and

(08:56):
nourishment to the skin one ofour best products for that is
hollow skin.
So this is an oil.
This is a 1.25 ounce bottle.
We also have spray caps thatcome with it just for easier
administration.
And then we also have a rollerbottle.
This is great.
I keep this in my purse.
It's a great travel size.
So this has a lot of wonderfulingredients and energy

(09:20):
signatures in it to reallyrestore balance and health to
the skin, either during anepisode or following an episode
when you're trying to restorethe health of the skin.
Anne, would you like to tell usa few special things and
ingredients about hollow skin?

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Well, it contains really oils that are excellent
for the skin.
It has some lotus, it has somecarrot seed oil and it smells
divine.
But dr reading went through awhole process of determining the
best oils that work for theskin and to help calm it down,

(10:02):
and we actually have anosteopath that uses this a lot
with her patients who have anyissues.
That it's the best thing she'sfound to help calm down things
like the eczema or psoriasis.
So those are a couple ofingredients.
It has about 15 oils in it, allorganic oils and one of our

(10:26):
really wonderful products forthat.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Yes, thank you for that information.
Another great nourishing, soothing thing is we came up
with a hollow skin lotion, sothis has hollow skin directly in
it.
The base is a quality generallotion that we can get at a
pretty good price.
To keep it affordable, we putthe hollow skin in the lotion to

(10:51):
really get that added benefit.
We sell various sizes of thisas well for travel and in your
purse or backpack.
This is a great thing to keepfor larger areas of your body
you might use.
I have used hollow skin just onmy face.
It's a great moisturizer and itjust it's such a clean smell

(11:11):
too.
It's very light, so I enjoythis just for general skin
health through that as well.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Holoskin, and that is only available at Holographic
Health.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Yes, other distributors may carry it, but
you can find it directly on ourwebsite or if you call our
office.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
we are happy to send this to you all right well, and
the other thing, our skin, hair, nails that we have for
internally, for the skin thathas some z in it and the thing
that's really important for notjust health of the body but
health of the skin and the hairand the nails.
So it is the one supplementthat we really have to support

(11:53):
the skin internally.
We have other things as well, depending on what comes up in a
session.
You know when we talked aboutdoing our assessments, but for
general skin health that is thebest one to take.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Very good.
Wow, I had no idea that skinwas so complicated, but
apparently it's the largestorgan in the body, right?
So it's significant.
And one thing, renee, youmentioned earlier was fungus.
Or maybe Rochelle, maybe it wasyou, but I know we're out of
time today, but maybe in ournext episode we can get into

(12:32):
fungus and how it affects theskin.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Of course, absolutely .

Speaker 3 (12:36):
All right, very good.
Well, ladies, thank you foryour time.
Today Learned an awful lotabout the skin and some great
products that you guys sell tomake it better.
Thank y'all so much for yourtime.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Thanks for having us.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
All right, we'll see you next time.
