serious crossovers.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
So who wants to get us started? Oh man, let's
go on.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
All right, let's get a number. My number five Jesus
of all time. Jason Kid. Yes, Sir Jason Kidd. He
was a ten time All Star, he was a six
time All NBA selection. All right, he's a Rookie of
the year. He was a rooking of the year. That
boy when he was in New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Was that dude? He was that dude. Yeah, I know
he was that dude. He was the cold rooker. I
can't I can't fight. That kid was a man. He
was a man. And I heard he won the Tony
Braxton battle.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
So even more so he got Tony Baby.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
All right, number four, number four before you ready for that,
Let's hear this. They got the bullshit Alan, Hey, I hey,
A the two guard A I he was two guard.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
He was drafted a point guard. Oh my god, this
was drafting the point guard. Let's get that straight. He
was drafting the point guard his rookie year in ninety.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Six Americans ship for the record, one look, drafted a
point guard?

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Here the two guards whole career ahead, let's get the stats, right, Okay,
drafts before a point guard?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
You're right? Okay?

Speaker 5 (02:39):
With my party, Martin, he gonna have Lebron on his list.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Can I have a on mind? You have? Come on,
there's no rules.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Hey, we're we're on the Blackty rules, Blackety rules tonight,
So all the ship go right.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I forgot about Blacky right there, yeah, number three, number three.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Okay, y'all ready Isaiah Thomas, Detroit, y'all got Detroit, y'all
want him number one, number one on my list, and
in one of your lists, number one, number three.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Number three. He number three.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Is curR.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Another another nine wing guard.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
The only m v P of all time got two
nine point nine point guards on the list.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I just keep counting, okay, he was drafted for a
point guard. Also, keep it going.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Yeah, yeah, okay, I want to hear y'all list. Okay,
and you know who number one is.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, we think we know, y'all know who number one is.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
That boy and Jay not much Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson,
a center.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
To dribble the ball and ship.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Okay, uh Lebron on his list, then it's the same
ship right all righty, who wants to take the criticule
this first?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Good? Go ahead? Mark?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Okay, Well, the only critic I got is Adam Iverson
is not a point guard. He's he's more of a
shooting guard because he got drafted as a point guard.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
But the eye test is everything. He was not a
point guard.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
That'sne only beef with that, and then the same thing
with your boy Curry.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Curry is not a point guard either. He is a
shooting guard. He's the best shoot of all time, but
he is not a point guard. And I'm gonna leave
it at that. Yeah, he had a Balltimore.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
I would say, if you're gonna take somebody on Golden
State and put him in the point guard, it'd be
Draymond Green.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
I don't know what you've been watching. That played the
two guard, the guy that runs around screens and ship.
That's the two guy that the boy guy look yesterday
they looked yesterday without Stephen Curry.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
That's why I he the point guard. Oh yeah, this
way I tell you.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Look.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Look, my my feef with your list is let's go,
how the hell do you guy, Isaiah Thomas under the
under Stephan Curry?

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Are you kidding me? For more impact?

Speaker 2 (05:27):
You got?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Oh? Come, that's about ring. So we remember this. I'm
just rang. You got to how many Stephan Carr? How
many four? I've got four? Four and two is is
more than That's how that's how you come up with it.
Let's go okay, I'm hey.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
The only thing I'm gonna say about the listen is
is the motherfucker going on with what you draft rather
than what you actually played. Now, if you watch the game,
you know who's playing point guard? Who's and both Alan
and Iverson and Steph Curry both the motherfuckers they never
seen the shot they didn't like, so they ain't setting
nobody else they taking They taking their own shot and

(06:10):
then going to go from there.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
So I would say that is Michaeltique.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
But you know otherwise, the names, I can't fight the names,
I can't fight some of it. But and at six team,
that seven football fucker playing point guard. You know I
got him as a point center is what I call him.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
But anyway, okay, okay, okay, who who's him? Next? Who's
up next?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Let me go next, and let me just get all
this ship right head together right now. So y'all does
this and pay attention because this is hey, this is
list right here. You can't fuck with this this right
here at number five, Lebron Jane go.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Right, you're right. I do got a broad Das on
my list.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
You know why I got on my list because he
is fourth in assists all time, fourth an assists all time?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
What did that mean when we talk about you know
what that means is we're talking about a point guard.
A point guard that's that's his main job is passing
the ball, getting people involved.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
And he is fourth all time. So you can't knock that.
Adam Iverson or Stephn Curry where they at on the
assist list. We ain't got time he even think about it.
Lebron is.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
And the one thing about a point guard that we did,
I mean that we haven't made it so far. The
one thing about the point guard is a point guard
you don't have to score the basketball to control the game.
And a point guard don't have to score, but he
controls the game. And that's what Lebron James did, and
that's what everybody on my list did. At a number five,

(07:44):
Lebron James, it ain't even close. At number four, this
guy right here, Jason Kidd, Jason Kidd was one of
the best point guards of all time. Because you know
why he's one of the best point guards of all time, Jameson.
Kid don't have to score a point, but he can
control the game and he get the right people in

(08:07):
the right spots to get the ball.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
And that what Jays the kid did. And these kids
a winner. He won. He was He's third assists all time.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
Jason Kidd was a bad boy, and if you don't
know about him, you better ask somebody. Disney Kid's a
bad boy. He's at number four. He probably about get
a championship as a coach too, you know.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Yeah, yeah, hey, kids, a bad boy. He knows the
game and point guards usually know the game. So yeah,
Disney Kid's a bad boy. Add number three. I bet
you none of y'all ain't got this boy and had
number three, because all y'all just look at you know
right now this and that I'm going back old school.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
I'm going back old school just a little bit. Yeah,
and I got big old Oscar Robinson. Hey I didn't see,
but hey, I.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
See, how does this boy? And this boy is legit.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
He led the lead and assists for a years straight
through nineteen sixty through nineteen sixty eight. And not only that,
the one thing I like about him too is when
his team wouldn't no, no, when his team was lacking
and they wouldn't doing their part, he could step up
and score the basketball as well. And that's very important

(09:20):
for a point guard because the point guard got to
know when to step up. And as he started scoring
the ball because his team is like getting it done.
The Big Old was a Jet triple double man.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
He was a Jet.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
So if if you don't know about him, you better
you bet go back to least a goddamn tape. But
this boy ain't no joke. He's about number three and
number three at.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Number two, at number two, I got this big sixty
nine guy in La. He's a big guy sixty nine La. Hey,
I don't talk bad about him. Hey, but this boy
right here, Hey, he was a bad boy. I mean
at six nine playing a point guard position. He had
a lot of players around him, I mean a lot
of time around them. But he made everybody better. I'm

(10:02):
not going to lie. He made everybody better. And that
is Magic Johnson. A true winner, a true winner, and
a true point guard. Like I said before, they control
the game. And look like I said, he and score
a point to control the game. And you look, Joe
went Jones score a point in the game. He still
gonna be the best player on the floor. That's what

(10:24):
people forget.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Everybody just looking at scoring this and that. But you
could be the best player on the floor and not
score the basketball.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
And that's what magic Doeson was because he was a
true winner in college, won on every level. Medic Johnson
a bad boy, no kno could get them at number one.
Who is that at number one? It's that goddamn Isaiah Thomas.

(10:51):
Godby Thomas said Somebodaiah Thomas. This is why I got
him a number one. I mean, I argue as a
lot with a lot of people. But the reason why
I got him a number one because he has that
balance for a point guard, because he knows when exactly

(11:12):
when he can take over game.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
The reason why I put him over.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Magic Johnson is because I know what what I've seen.
He can take over a game when it's time to
take over a game as well. People people talk about
Isaiah Thomas, though, don't say he is a few points
a game, this and that. If Isaiah won ed to
Isaiaha to average thirty points a game, but Isamh put
the team first and got his team involved first. But

(11:37):
if the team wasn't doing what they had to do,
Isaiah take over game offensively by far. And we see
this on every level. We see this in the finals.
Please please please don't have me mentioned the finals.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
You might want to, you might want to mention the finals.
We don't want to talk about the finals.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
I want to talk about the biggest on on the
on the highest level, on the highest level, whereas one
of the best defensive players in the league at that time,
oh no, broken Acho put up what he did that
third quarter. Like I said, there is no point guard
ever that know the balance and no want to take

(12:16):
over game and that could take over a game.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Like Isaiah Thomas. So that's why I got Isaiah Thomas
at number one. He's by far, to me, the best
point guard I ever seen. Let's go, Hey, let me
critique this first. So let me be the first to say.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
First, I applaud the NIGGA for his number one pick
because I think it was just a flat out a
great call. I think Isaiah Thomas was everything everything he
said he was and more. But I would say, on
the flip side of it, big Old.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
I think big Old is in there.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
I think when I look at the competition he played against,
much like the critique has been before when you all
talked about will you all those guys the competition, I
gotta bring Oscar down a little bit. I think was
a great player, top ten, but he I would have
him on the top five but Big Old was Big
was a.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Real deal too. Okay, what you guys got Quentin? Uh him?
I've never seen Big Old plays, so I can't have
him my top five. I don't know what he like.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Yeah, I watched highlights Big Old. My my my thing
is Big Old is he got him to me a
little high on the list. Uh you say, you say
he's a winner, but when did he When did he
win a championship?

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah? I know, I know, but win nineteen seventy two
or yeah on that team? Okay, Kareem, thank you.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
So I'm not winning until he got Kareem. So, I mean,
I'm not saying he's not a great player, but he
didn't win until he got Kareem. So you know, I
just think he a little high on your list. But
I love your list. I love Zeke on the list
and everything. Brother, I was like, I don like that
Magic one all his rings with Kareem. So, I mean,
so what he said, Magic had more talent than anybody?

(14:03):
Magic had more.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
Talented better he made no no, no, no, no no no,
he was Magie had more talent than anybody.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
But we got him high ranked, right, he number one?
And then it's the factor that we did watch him
play too. Huh, he did watch more of Magic too,
you know.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
So yeah, and I had Magic and I have Magical
number two. But don't say that he I mean he
only won because he had Kaream, because I mean, because
I can say that Magic had the same thing. But
that's tram another day.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
All right, you go.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
Ahead, you got you got just shot to critique the lists.
What you got to say, well, all mine, he saying,
he saying, your winners. Who're just talking about with the winners?

Speaker 3 (14:44):
He said, he said, uh, who was that? Who? Number
three on your list? Number three is a big old
you don't have. You didn't have Steph Curry or so
you think he You can tell you why. You will
tell you why.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
I mean, you can tell you why don't have Seth
carry on my list? Because Seth Curry. Seth Curry is
not a point guard. It's like Alan Iverson. They are
not point guards. I don't care what anybody tell me.
I mean the position that they're rated at, but draft
draft of that, but draft that or whatever. Watching the games,
watching the games, Seth Curry is not no point guard.

(15:24):
Seth Curry did not dribble the ball up and when
he do dribble the ball up. Well, hey, I'm gonna
tell you he turns the ball over a lot.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
He is. I mean, if you want to see the
point guard, he turns the ball over a lot. I don't.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Know.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
He didn't know he did. Yeah, I believe he's a
point guard.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
Eric Snow duecause you're the height of.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
A point guard.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
It don't make your point guard the point guard team
is Draymond Green. Draymond Green's when the starters been point
guard on that team, not step the wonder they want
to put them in to their offense is Draymond Green.
When you gotta when you have a guy running the
baseline back and forth behind off screams and picks, that
is the point guard.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
The point guys up top set the motherfucking ship up.
Come on, serious game. Everybody making everybody better on that team?
He does? So point guard don't make everybody better on
the team. No, no, no, no, no no no no.
See you get the game all mixed up game, all
big stuff.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
If you're running around like I mean, just running around
screens and all that ship to get the ball ship,
that is not point guard.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
No why not? Why point guard do that? So?

Speaker 5 (16:46):
Better still tell me this telling this is regiment of
point guards A great Jackson.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Hey, step didn't either, Green? I mean you serious niggas
a truth. That's a true point guard. Now what your
point guard dribbles the ball? Love to call my guy players,
So Dramond.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
No quarter, no, no, no gud the ball time time,
every time, no point guard dribbles the ball up every time.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
None, none, motherfucker none, nobody about dram.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
You're saying every time, I'm not doing that. How come
you say, because no point guard dribbles the ball every time?

Speaker 3 (17:37):
All of you break here and there.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
I don't get so step So Steff get you running
off screens and running running based on the baseline and
running three miles. You read that's the point guard is
it's my list you have? That's my list and I
don't look. Hey, hey, and I'm gonna stand by my list.
Step carry not no point.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Guard Mexican going back, hold them all time and assists.
So that means yes, what would that mean?

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (18:12):
What does that mean?

Speaker 5 (18:13):
That mean?

Speaker 3 (18:17):
That means he's Draymond Green. If he's version all time,
that means he getting people in the game.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
Whatever, Man, this morning, I disagree five categories. But I
would put the Brian and the point guard in the
two guard. I think he can be in those.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Now we can't put out the Irson. Whatever you want.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
I average two assistant games, oh career, and I was
in the point Come on playing, let's move on, to
move on the next.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Next. Mother they're gonna learn nothing, every reason rather do
a class. But he's mothers and showed him. All right, yeah,
go ahead, okay, all.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Right, Number five. We're gonna start it off with the
big old. You know, like I say, great player, uh,
you know, first player to average a triple double. You know,
I never said I didn't like the big Old. I
just said, you know, I don't think he should be
that high on the list.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
That's all. So.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Twelve time All Star and he got a gold medal
and a championship. So that's my number five. Okay, number four,
Number four, we're gonna go with the guy.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Chris Paul Chris Eleven time All NBA All Star, twelve time.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
NBA All Team excuse me, seven time defense and two
gold medals. You know, and uh, it's a it's a
lot of players out here because he's the because because
he's the assistant great assist guy. There's a lot of
players out here that made a lot of money off
of him. One of them is Tyson Chandler. He definitely

(20:09):
got him a good contract off picking rolls all day long,
got him paid.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
So he made get a ring off of it. But
he got he got a guy dame. He didn't get right.
But you know he was a great player. Yeah, I'm
gonna eat you over. You don't suck up now, go ahead,
a number three whatever whatever, ain't nobody.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Anyways anyway, number three, number three, two time m v P,
four time n BAH champion, Curry stephand Curry number yeah,
you know, son of a son of shooter Dale Curry.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
You know he took that to another level. You know
on the shooting, you know he you know, he draws
a lot of defense.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
You know what I'm saying. I he's ranked the point
guard point guard. To me, that's what I'm rolling as
point guard. So you know, that's what my mother said
shooting when they talk about him. But he's a point guard.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Okay, they got him listed as well. Well. And here's
another thing.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Here's here's another thing I'm gonna tell you about point
guards throughout throughout throughout the decades of basketball, they've changed.
What the point guard was back back, back back then.
It's not the same as what the point guard is now. Okay,
So that that that you wrong. Point guards that have

(21:28):
changed throughout the decades and what and what they're and
what they are asking them to do, you know today
versus you know, you know back then.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
So you know, the win win win teams. All right,
go ahead, number.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Number two, Number two. We're going with that man, that
that man, that showtime, Irvin Matthew Johnson. You know, Michigan man.
You know, I know it ain't for y'all.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
For the right. He was born in Michigan. He was
born at Lanson. Yeah, he's Michigan. He's Michigan. He's Michigan.
He born in the state. Take care what you say.
He dominated. He dominated the eighties, you know with the basketball.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
You know, three time m v P, you know, five
time champion, ten time All Star. You know, he paved
the way for some of the big players and point
guard forward. Motherfucker do y'all talk about now that y'all
love so much. So you know that's why he's on
my list.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
A number two. All right, Same, the NBA Yeah, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Definitely, he definitely did that, and you know, everything was great.
He was having a wonderful career tweety until this motherfucker
came around. Lord Isaiah Thomas.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
And fat ass.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Twelve time lost appearances, the only player to beat Bird,
Lakers and Jordan in their prime. Okay, he was the
architect for the Pistons image of today that you know,
it is the bad boys, you know, and he's the
reason of every team since then has won that has

(23:15):
took it on that persona. The two thousand and five
team played like the bad boys, and this current team
that we got is coming to whoop ass into a
town near you soon, is playing that same way. So
you know, that's what I That's that's what I That's
what I love about him, you know, and uh hometown
hometown guy. He's probably the reason why I started watching basketball.

(23:36):
So love Isaiah Thomas.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
That's my I. I can applaud number one, but I'll
turn it over. Which one? You got a name it first? Tweet?
Do you want to go first? Go ahead? Tweety?

Speaker 4 (23:47):
You didn't have Jason Kidd on your list? That right
there is a Traves team not having.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Yeah, I think I think Chris Paul is a better
passer than uh than than him. What I think it's
a better point guard, I'll say, all around the point
guard than Jason Kid.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Just what else in that bottle and drinking? You know,
it's something that that something he ain't telling me.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
The only problems I got is just I got Yeah,
Chris Paul to me, he was a good point guard,
but one of the best of all time.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
No, I don't.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
I don't believe that he ain't nowhere near there's a
kid asked for a point guard. No, And then I'm
just back on to Steph Curry because the only thing
you would tell me about Steph Curry is about his shooting,
and we're talking about the point guard.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
That's not.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
The first thing should come out shooting. It's about controlling
the game and getting your team involved. He can throw
the game from the ship running from control and then
you can see go ahead and and then not just shooting.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
It's not just shooting. It's two sides of the ball too, too,
tads of the ball too.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
It's the reason why they had Klay Tops on the team,
because your boy your one of your top point guards.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
He couldn't guard nobody either. So I'm just saying it's
too side of the ball.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
Keep that in mind too, okay, you know, and I
just have to say the same thing that we had
a difference of a crossroads of who we think is,
who we think is the point guard, who's not. I
would say if you if you take it by just
what they say, then you're gonna say years. But if
you take it by watching the games, then you know
he's not. Steve Kurr only even put the mother point

(25:35):
guard because he and the point guard. Steve Kerr has
him running the baseline.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
And doing what he does. Great, he's a great shooter.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
Now let me go, let me go into my list,
and this way they're America even wait, drum roll, please,
here we go. Now I'm gonna go back and I'm
gonna go with some stuff that nobody has said, and
I'm gonna pull out a couple of names that nobody
has mentioned.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
I think you can't be the logo of the NBA
and not be a reference on the list.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
So I'm gonna go back to the great Jerry West,
and I'm gonna say Jerry West is my number five
point guard of all time twenty seven points a game,
six point seven assists, five point eight rebounds of game
once again, once again a great general manager.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
But going back going to him as a point guard,
he's the logo of the league. You got.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
You have to include Jerry West. He's a prominent figure
and what made the league what it is today. So
Jerry wedd number five, number four. While I was not
a fan, I'm an impartial guy. I don't hold it
against motherfuckers because of who they played folds and who
they didn't play.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Foe and who I like and who I don't like.
I just call it like I see like a spade.
My number four.

Speaker 5 (26:45):
Thirteen point one points a game, ten point five assists,
and was average two point two steals, and was an
eleven time All NBA and five time All Defense. John
stock You gotta have John stock on the Listen, gotta
be on the list. No architect and look at the

(27:06):
body of working point guard. And you talk about Martin
to your point, while you don't agree with the pick,
I'll still say this and I'll give a fun who
don't the pick, but control of the game. John Stockton
was the epitome of a person that controlled the game.
Now he would be higher in some cases, if he
could take over the game, he could take over the
game the same level. But he controlled the game, He
controlled the pace, he made the plays. He was He

(27:29):
wouldn't run the base line. He was up top while
horn Stack rund the baseline, and he distributed and got
the ball down of Karl Malone, which helped fortify Karra
Maloan make him on the top power forces of all time.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
So hey, number took four on my list, John Stock,
go ahead, finish your list, but I got some questions
for your next.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
Next great passer control the game. Nine time All Defense,
ten time All Star, one time champ. I know you
can put together the point guard position, and look at
what this guy did in college, because he blew up
in college and tore up the nca ways. And they

(28:08):
came to the league and did the same thing as
a part of the new makeup Dallas Mavericks and then
went on to have a great group with the new
Jersey Nets.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Jason Kid got out the kid on your list.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
When you talk point guard, you talk quickly central point
guards and what you call up wanting to do?

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Jason Kid gave them a list number two.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
This guy changed the fucking game, change the game. One
of the greatest players of all time. Once again, let's
put out the position. One of the greatest players of
all time.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Came in as a.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
Rookie and played center as a rookie and won the
championship playing the center. Leave was sixteen, but one of
the greatest passers, one of the greatest players, one of
the greatest champions that we've ever seen in the league.
I'd have to say, hey, Irvy Magew Johnson Man Band,
the Magic Man was a great, great player, great point guard.

(29:06):
You know, just eleven points, eleven point two assistant game,
nineteen point five points per game over course of his career.
Is just I had an opportunity as a basketball fan
and as a basketball historian to see somebody better, and
that person that I saw was better. And let me
just read you my definition and then maybe it makes

(29:28):
it easier clear for everybody to understand, or those that
don't understand this call my tweety what I'm looking at.
It said, if basketball greatness is about conquering legends, he
was the only one to beat Magic Bird and Jordan
in their career. Northern point Guardy did that lifting underdogs.

(29:49):
Who else was on that Pizzol team as it was stacked.
He didn't go join the super team and it says
and performing when it matters the fucking most. Down, it's
Isaiah Thomas, my number one point guard of all time. Now,
I'm gonna take you through a couple of highlights of
his career. Mark talked about about the third quarter on

(30:10):
one foot against Michael Cooper, who if I'm not the
second with the defensive player of the year before he
lift him up a twenty five to the third quarter
on one foot. Nobody ever touched it, and to this
day is a finals record, And when you know, some'th
a tweeting when we watch the finals this year, it's
gonna continue to be a Finals record because Isaiah Thomas
with that.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
Dude, Isaiah Thomas was that deal. Another highlight I'll give
you by Isaiah Isaiah Thomas.

Speaker 5 (30:37):
Sixteen points in ninety seconds as a young player in
the league, still today, for all accounts, is the record
for the most points in the last final ninety seconds
of a game in NBA history. Isaiah Thomas did that.
That's that switch. Hey, I've been passing these motherfuckers all night.
We ain't gonna get it.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Done.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
I gotta take this mouffucker over bow Midaid Thomas took
it up. One of the cole Real quick things is
is when you.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Look at and you say the game, the game was different,
generationally was different. It was back when Isaiah Thomas played.
The one thing that wasn't is his team needed more
scoring in that nineteen eighty nine finals or nineteen ninety finals,
so he went out and worked in a three point shot.
To this day, Isaiah Thomas, at sixty eight point eight
percent hold the record now Steph Curry.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
So nobody said Isaiah was a great shooter. I said
it was a great point guard.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
But he holds the record for the greatest three point
shooting percent in the history of the NBA Finals.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Okay, right, that's a good one.

Speaker 5 (31:39):
And I would say this last, last, last is Isaiah
Thomas also held a career in games played where they
both played thirty six to twenty nine record against your
boy Michael Jordan.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
He owned Jordan during the era.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
He dominated Jordan through the era, and one gains the
championships and has the legacy of prove Isaiah the greatest
point guard of all time.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Baby, all right, guys, that we are running out of time.
We're actually way over time, So any last remarks, we're
