Speaker 1 (00:00):

on my goddamn because and is openated. Welcome to the

spent real ship.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
What up though?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
And Welcome to the Hood Report, the spot where culture
meets competition. And since we're talking basketball today, every take
hits like a motherfucking fast break. Today, I'm your host, Rod.

seventeen years in the NBA, and ten of those with
our own local.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Here Phoenix Suns. So we're happy to have Mark as
a part of the program today. He's gonna bring uh.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
He's gonna we already know he's picking for the championship
for Western Conference next year next week.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
But but right now the Eastern Conference.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
So I don't know about championship. But yeah, so now listen,
now that we're here, let's get real. This year the
East is wide open.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Injuries.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Off season shakeups have flipped the script, and Boston in
particular could be in serious trouble. With Jason Tatum out,
they moved Horford and made several other moves present gainst
all those guys are gone. So Boston is one to
watch because they're looking to get under the new salary
Apron Indiana, last year Eastern Conference representative in the championship,

(02:12):
has a major setback with Tyree's Holliburton being out for
the year, and they got Miles Turner that's gone. He's
over at Milwaukee trying to help guy get back in
the playoffs in advance and hopefully get another championship. And
then obviously you always got to the Philadelphia that's the
one team that always seems to have some type of
injury drama, especially when you're dealing with the process Joelle

(02:34):
and b All of that makes the Eastern Conference a
completely unpredictable situation and maybe for the first time, in years,
we could see one brand new contender rides out of
nowhere and take and take.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
The Eastern conference.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
So strap in, as Martin says, strap In, put on
his other fucking seat belts and break him down. Who's
built to survive in the while East Coast and who's
going to be able to do so and stay healthy?
The East might be wounded, hey, but it's far from
out of the contest again. People with the West as
something will say. So by ready to get it first,

(03:14):

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Way, baby. So let's get it.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
It's trying to row. NBA is on the docum for tonight.
Let's go ahead and hit it. And we're going for
each conference. The rules are we going through and giving
our playoff teams not play in playoff, So we're starting
at number eight, working down.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
To number five.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Hit those quick, and then you go into detail on
your four to three two one on where you think
they're finishing the conference for today we got look like
Martin Martin started was onf today Martin got go ahead,
run that he Hey put that motherfucker, see bro man,
let's put before I aid. I gotta say this real quick.

(04:17):
Philadelphia not on my goddamn list, and Miami is not
on my goddamn list, and any end it's not on
my list. So if y'all was looking for them teams,
they ain't on my list, I'm sorry, it ain't gonna happen.
So hey, let me ask a question, though, Why is
Miami not on your list? Why is Mammy not on
my list? Why did you keep Pat right off your list?

(04:37):
They look they over hyped sposure and the heat every
goddamn year, and I'm tired of it. The last last
two years, they got one playoff win. Please, I don't
want to hear nothing about but they got one playoff
winning in two years. That's why they ain't on my list.
You can put it on you list, but they ain't
me on my goddamn list because Bocher and Pat is

(04:57):
overrated the list they run the best player out of town.
Look this same guy that led them to the championship,
like what two years ago, They're gonna run him out
of town and then wonder why they got one playoff
winning two years book it come on, please stop, let's
go go ahead, run that ship at number eight. I'm
going with the up and coming last year they end

(05:19):
the catastrong. But I'm going with the Chicago Bulls. Last
year later in the season, they started to get your
little groove. They gotta They got a young backcourt with
Kobe white Well and Levine. He ain't young, But I
think the Bulls is gonna be on the upcomes. They
gonna make that eight spot. I think they're gonna be
there real quick. With that one team that's there every
year they but they never make that big step, and

(05:42):
that's the Atlanta Hawks. I Atlanta Hawks with Trey Young
and the crew, they gonna be. They gonna make the
top seven or top seven or eight. They will be
up there at number six. This might be a shocker
for y'all, but I'm going with the Milwaukee Bucks because
I'm gonna tell you right now it ain't for sure.
And the rumor on this tree is, let me take
you the room on the streets. The rumor in the

(06:02):
hood that oh boy might not be there. Brief freaking
I'm telling you, he might not be there. So I'm yeah,
that's a real rumor, that's a real room out there
that he might not be there. Now, Dame is gonna
be all right, Dame's gonna be out the whole year, right,
dang gone. Oh yeah, you're right. He would back to Portland. Yeah, yeah,

(06:26):
So Milwaukee's gonna barely make it in. But I'm basically
it's own that Greek were gonna be there. But if
we ain't there, they're gonna be on the bottom. So
but yeah, I'm gonna still keep them. I'm gonna give
them a little respect, and I'm gonna put them at six.
At number five, I'm going up with another team that's
dealing with injuries, but they still have the talent.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
But I don't know if there's enough talent.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
To overtake the top tier four teams in the in
the East, and that's a Boston Celtics. I think without Tatum,
they still have a lot of talent on this team.
They tell have a lot of time this team. They
still got people that won a championship on this team.
But I think without Tatum and yeah, yeah, without Tatum,
they lost Hey to me, it was a hard and

(07:07):
the soul teams.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Yeah that's Hartford, Yeah, that's they. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
I don't think they're gonna be in the top four
this year. I think they gonna take a step back.
I got them at number five. That's why I got
number five. I got a couple of frist here go
to real ship, right here, you go to real ship
right here, right here, give us your fault.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
This team at number four, I'm gonna tell you something
right now, this team at number four. I'm still disappointing
this team because they pissed me off so bad last year,
had that great regular season with sixty four wins aten
losses other power playoffs, but I gotta put them in
the top four. Steel and that's the Cleveland Cavaliers. I mean,

(07:46):
they still got one of the best back courts that
lead to me with when I'm Garland and Mitchell, they
have a good tandem. They have a good tann them
a big man with Mobley and Allen, they have a
really they still got a good team.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
But they just disappointed me so bad.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
I couldn't put them in the top three because they
laid down the playoffs. I don't know what happened, but
they gotta clean that ship up. So and they lost
a couple of people too. They lost down LeVert and
then they lost their others go off the bench, Jerome.
So I think they gonna take a little step back
this year. They but number four that's been splayed before them.
That's what I got number four. You know what I

(08:21):
heard about Cleveland that they were trying to get a
heart transplant for the team and all sasons couldn't get it.
They get it, Nab the Probably they should have what
they should have did. They should have called Lebron back
because Lebron probably wanted to come back home for LAM
a couple of years. That's what they should have did.
But hey, that's for another day. At number three, now,

(08:42):
this is my surprise team. This This this team is
it's a young team. Last year they made a jump,
made the playoffs, but due to injuries, I think that
kept no that kind of cost them. But this year,
if they stay healthy, I think they're gonna be up there.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
And that is the Orlando Magic.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
I think Orlando Magic this year is gonna take a
big step because last year even with the injury. They
still made the playoffs and they had a decent run.
But I'm taking something right now. Polo Bench, Polo Banchora,
he gonna be one of the top probably he will
be the top ten players in in in the entire league,
saying this boy is legit. This boy does everything. He

(09:19):
led the team and score on rebound and assists. What
hurt them last year is when the fans got hurt.
So Franz Bdner got hurt, but Sugs was out the
lineup a lot last year as well. If they get
all three of them back with a couple of pick
ups they picked up, say that bang pick up was
a very good pickup. I like, I mean, I don't.

(09:40):
I don't like bag for a number, for a number
two like no like like for a two scorer. But
you put him behind Van troll and and and Wagner,
make him like a third or fourth scorer like last year.
He talked, yeah, because I don't like him to be
the number two options. I think that was too much

(10:01):
for him. But if you put on this team, he's
gonna be like a third or fourth option. I think
he I think had better that Memphis. Memphis the number two. Yeah, yeah,
he had a two A mythics, but I just don't
like him in that role. But I think on this team,
I think I think he's gonna play a lot better
on this team because the pressure is gonna be too
much for him. That's my number three. But he don't

(10:21):
sleep on the Lando Magic. They gonna be there at
number two. Oh boy, I don't even want to say this,
but hey, Q, I'm going with your boys. I think
Detroit is gonna be the number two seed next year.
I think with kay I'm telling you, hey, listen to that.

(10:42):
I'm telling you Kate was in the top five players
last year year.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
But yeah, if you have don't go with your heart
with your head. Yeah no, no, no, no, no, no, no
no no.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
This is.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Fan.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
He ain't no fan. He's gonna be Hey, but is
gonna be one of the best players in the league
last year.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
He shold. But it takes a team, not just get it.
That is true, a team.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
They actually got a pre he got a team for
the best team in the in the East. Can't careful
mark argument whatever, go ahead, Yeah, they look you over
looked like Lis a double double guy. He's a double guy.

(11:34):
The Thompson twin. He I'm telling he's he's he's a
regular defender.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
And got one and got him both. Now they have
a lot of good talent.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Yeah, well I don't sound like the number two. Yes
next year talking about next year? Ye, because this gonna
I love the pistol you're saying this season. Yeah, I
like that mark a.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Number one.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
We already know who this is New York. Hey, the
New York Knicks next year will be the number one
seed with brunts and I'm telling you brunting in towns.
They look when that as long as they're healthy with
brunsing and towns, they're gonna be the best team in
the East.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I'm telling you.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
But that pick up I love to pick up because
they do have problems screwing up the bench, picking up
Carson Calrson A he ain't never seen the shot that
that he don't like. Hey, he gonna get it up.
But I just think there, Look, but they're rare rounded
though with nab team bridges like seventeen you got hurt
the heart and soar team.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
The knigsas gonna be there next year and they're gonna.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Capitalize on all these other injuries in the no with
the other teams, and I think the Knicks will be
the number one seed next year in the East.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Book.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I think they made the right move keeping team together.
Let's now, let's open up room. Couple feedback which you
think mark feedback on that list? Let you go first.
I like his list. I like his list. I like Detroit.
I don't want y'all sleeping like I don't like Detroit.
I just don't think the second best team in the
East already in the top four, probably so I think
the new the newcomers in the top four in the

(13:22):
East is probably probably Detroit.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
And the Magic Magic in Orlando.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
So I think with the move they made and the
draft picks they had in the past, and you know,
they got two of the best young players in the
league right now.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
So I do think they deserve you know that a
good list. You got a good list they maximize. The
one and two is gonna be a little bit different
than that.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Okay, all right, And I will tell you that this
because we talked about earlier.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
If the New York Knicks are able to make the
moves that people have been talking about, they're gonna move.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
It's a rap. They go, Yeah, oh yeah, Hey, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
That's gonna be interesting to see any feedback, tweety q,
y'all got to feedback.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
No with it except Miami, except Miami, Miami, the whole
list every year.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Tell me what the Miami at the play. I don't know.
I'm not sure about Boston being on that in the
in the top. Oh no, boss still got talent, Boss,
still get talent.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
You're right, they have talent. Injury, Yeah, but they got
other champions on the team. What's what happened if Taya
don't play? There is a it's a rat rat.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Y'all underestimating y'all. Wait, okay, how they still the man?
Let me ask you this? So the Philly out as well?
Oh yeah, yeah, hell yeah, I have no favorite Philly.
Why Why?

Speaker 5 (14:57):
Because in B and B is on some bo ship
and bullshit because of injuries injury Andrews and say, I mean.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
If bad is healthy all the time, there's no way
they don't make health. But have we heard have we heard?

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Hate him is not healthy? He's not starting the season.
There's no Boston is in trouble. If you have enough
other dude, Mark, now you closer to the league at all?

Speaker 1 (15:29):
And they lost that great center. Right, have you heard Mark, Mark?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Have you heard anything about and be work ethic, because
that's a question that a lot of people have questioned it.
I don't argue that, but the dude is ridiculously talented
and talented. So my point is, if he's healthy, there's
no way they don't make the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
And it's.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
But there's no way they don't make the play hard
to be healthy. It's hard to be healthy. Mark. When
you got a v P card to McDonald's, man, they
say that was McDonald's.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Is a donald my eighty year? Up my eight number?

Speaker 2 (16:18):
You can't pick the Lakers, the Lakers, not these damn Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
He's gonna pick whoever they have been traded there some
of them posingers were talking about the Hawks.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Number eight, right, number eight.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Posingers were talking about poss Right.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Yep, he went to the Hawks, right yeah, signed me up.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Number eight.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Number you got to trade. You got the ice machine
over time?

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Eight all right?

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Number number seven, the seventy six is when they're healthy,
they're gonna they're gonna be there. If they're healthy, Oh George,
all them gonna be there, all right?

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Number six the heat Miami, Oh yeah, at six. At six,
do you know they picked up Norman Power. I'm just
gonna I'm just gonna leave it. They did.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
That's that's okayst best three point shooters.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
They still but he was he was after twenty points.
But let me let me leave it there. All right,
We're gonna move on Miami, number six, number five.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
I got the Bucks.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
I got the Bucks at number five just because they
got Myles Turner. We don't know about oh Joannis, so
I'm gonna leave it there. Picked him at number five,
all right, just because Doc Rivers we don't know. Okay, Hey, Doc, Daddy,
you're gonna put him in Still there, Docs, still there?

(17:52):
Hey I about Doc? You you played with the motherfucker.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
I'll telling you got got some jewel Bro championship, championship.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Look at him right now?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
All right?

Speaker 4 (18:08):
We got through one number four. I got Orlando. I
got Orlando number four, but to pick up a death
and bang and he got a new coach. But what
what their coach name is?

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Mostly there, yeah, have been there. I don't even know.
Okay what I got, I got, I got that. I'm
here to clean up ship when you up to go ahead?

Speaker 4 (18:39):
Mostly I ain't know what mostly is. But they got
they got over there Orlando. You know, Okay, they got
the coach over there. But I do like their little
I do like the the young their young players over there,
and they coming up all right, number three, Q. I
got the I got the Pistons. I got the Pistons
over there with JB. All right, and they got brod.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
They got it. They got they got Dunkey Robinson.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
They got a shoot over there, and they got a shooter,
Dunkey Robinson from the heat over at the Pistons. Now,
so they needed that. They need that scoring off the bench.
They do need that scoring off the bench. So they
picked up so let him be the first passing out
from k from the post.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
That and that it works, yeah, first that shoulder. They
need that shooter.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
So I got them at number three, the Pistons at
number two. I got the Calves. I got the cal Calves.
I got the Calves. Yeah, sixty four wins, the early exit.
Please got the Calves, early early exit, you know. And

(19:52):
they picked up they picked up and let me tell
you who, they picked up Larzo ball.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Pia Hey, that is a head because his daddy gonna
be an all the pack and gonna be down in Charlotte,
slipping around with one leg, making.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
Noise all on the stage and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
But yeah, you got what you got wooden leg now wow. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
But I'm picking the Calves. I'm picking the cast and
number two. You gotta you gotta have them top to
this guy and I don't.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Try in this recond season.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
You got to pick them at top two. Got number
one and number one with the Knicks, I.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Got the next next one.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, because of all the ind of the East, in
the in the East, I gotta put the Knicks at
number one.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
And over the A thanks for your list over feedback.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
I'm gonna say the first party is I can't put
the motherfucking Calves at number two. The heartless fucking displayed
they showed last year season. I think it hands in
the row. I think it had lingering effects. So I
think they're coming in this year damage number two. He's
not gonna be number two. One about I can't for

(21:26):
them to show up every night regulation season.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
We're talking about you're.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Gonna do the reg people that to get their number
nine solves.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
No, we're talking about in the playoffs right live.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
I can't live with number two. I can't live with Philly.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
I'm telling you right now, because when you got m
Big and Paul George, two of the people that I
just don't trust at all. Paul George that I don't
trust him being I don't think they're gonna make it.
I just gonna trust you the one of them, Mars
just tough.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
You know you.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
You're the first thing to come to mind when you
say them two names for what fifty games?

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Ain't two of they gonna play together? You know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
That's right. Yeah, So that's the way. Part of my
guy is Philly and Miami. Because Miami, no, I don't
trust him either. But okay, it wasn't bad, but yeah,
anybody else feedback, feedback to the tweets list, wes you
all right, he Hey.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
We moved every We're going next. Now we're going to
the big Man. Maybe maybe maybe maybe a little different.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Well seeah hey wow wow West, we got hey. Like
I told you, wes Hey, number eighteen. Hey, no part
this is my number eighteen. If either one of them
are healthy, no protection, no protection on your list, no protection.
Philadelphia eighth.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Okay, either one of them boys are healthy because He's
health is a rap. They're gonna make the playoffs, right, Kevin.
I'm going with Miami because I'm out of bio praid.
I'm going with the coaches that, you know, Hall of
Fame coaching and all that. Yeah, I bet you for

(23:17):
y'all down there, y'all like Miami. I bet that, yeah, yeah,
in Miami South.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
We're talking so, I mean, but the heat, no, but beleven.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Seven, Miami six.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
I'm gonna go with Milwaukee, Okay, the Bucks, because I
just think, you know, they're missing some pieces, but as
long as they got that big boy. They lose that
big boy in New York, it's a wrap they outd
want to see that, Yes, I want to.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
I want to see it.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
In the next The next two a little difficult for
me because and I think they can go either way.
But I'm gonna go with Atlanta at number five.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Okay, okay, nine and number five, and I'm gonna go
with the team I love.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
I want to know one of the teams I love.
I want to Detroit Pistons at number four. Got Okay
and his squad going to number four basketball, somebody, somebody
get put him at whatever number two of them.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
That's that's me, that's me. Maybe that's me.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Okay, number three, I'm going with the magic okay, because
I think that that I think the trade where they
got the kid from Memphis, that's that's that's that's that's
a difference make for big time.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
How they came that was that was no joke. That
that that young boy leading them ain't no joke. Yeah,
bigger than he was, you know, size wise. It's not
all the skill. But I saw I figure, oh my god,
you ain't pushing him around. So I got down Orlando
at number three. Hey, Mark, I think you take you
down in the post to the big.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Yeah, don't they. I want me on that block. But
if you give me, shake you out, shake up my shoes.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
You got that kind of you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah, you got that Derrick Coleman kind of thing, going well, yeah, closer,
you know, yeah, a little more explosive.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
And that number two. I got the New York Knicks,
the nixt Okay, I got the Knicks.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
If they get that trade they want, they could easily
be the number one seed in the East.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
I want to hear the number one.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
You already know Cabalier Cleveland Cavalier, the number one seed
in the East.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
You know, you know, we got we got everything about
proof clean. Okay, let's say let's say it as a
group as I'm gonna get, they win sixty.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Four if they got the same prod and the lines,
that's okay. It is that put him over the top, that.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Keep it from already on the top. They already on
the top. We're not talking about winning the playoffs. We're
talking about this season.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
I want to seed last year absolutely, right then? Right?
Is that another question? Championship because the people won the championship.
We need to get out of the Eastern Conference.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
This rayless season.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
You just you just gave demonstration and proof that you
can play the game at the high level but not
know the game at the high level.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
So well, we will get you. We're gonna give you
your proper and get you a little bit leeway. Here.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
I'm just saying, here, here's this panel. We're talking about
the number one seed, and we're not gonna go for
the number one seed from last.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Year, last night, last year, though nobody.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Win the championship. The ones who won the championship last year, right,
they did they do they lose the confidence give the
I mean the way they got bounced.

Speaker 6 (27:03):
Out, got hurt.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Oh, Cleveland have been folding for a few years.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
This ain't.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
No, we're not talking about for a few years. We're
talking about the last year and we're talking about folding.
Detroit and Orlando hadn't been there for the last few years.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
Uh yeah, I know the.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Same level the Troy coming because we got to the teams,
we got two teams to make the playoffs coming up
that last few years they suck, okay, and all of
a sudden, So this is a new year.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
But now we're talking about the number one seed last year.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Yeah, same team, still young.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
They ain't gonna like old guys.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
They like there you know, you know what, They're gonna
win a bunch of games, right.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
The Knicks can the Knicks. The Knicks did come on
many trade if I if I remember with Indiana who
got to the finals, not the Knicks.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Yeah, but the Nicks made it Eatern Conage more time, yes,
each conference finals, Eastern Convige Finals, though the next made
it the Eastern Convage Finals. Clean.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Get about the first round they had the best that's
they had injuries. Dog, that's what we.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Call now now honey, we're gonna do this.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
We're gonna do this again. Any of your teams they
have an injury and don't make it. I don't want
to hear it.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Okay, they still.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Next man up, Mark, next man up, West man up,
next man man up. We know that, but that ain't
always the fact. We know that, and they had players.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
If you want to one of your big three in
the in the playoffs, you dad cook, next man up.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
All they want to that, that's be a role player
who got hurt? So last Quace is your top players
last who was their top score off the bench last year?

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Exact? Jerome? Wouldn't it? Jerome, He's gonna be missed. He's
gonna be missed. Remember I said that? Yeah, no, no,
be missed. Hoy, gonna have to guard this year. Come on,
man grew up the bench he was. Okay, we don't see.

(29:26):
We're gonna see can do with him being healthy? All mellow? Okay, alright,
let's get it in. Let's get in.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
I'm sorry, sorry, but uh yeah, it's gonna be some
broken heart hit number eight getting it in this team.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
You know they got it.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
They got a great chance and they I think they
could be Okay, the seventy six ers, if they can
stay healthy, they will they If they healthy, you gotta
put him out there, you know, because they can be home.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Yep, yep, yep, yep.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
You know.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
So seven seven, we're gonna go with Chicago. You know,
up in young coming teams. Yeah, up in young Nutinia.
They got they got some young guys on there, you know,
some young some young dogs. You know, they up and coming.
They really get some dish pizza or something. Okay, listen,
some blues and jazz. Next. Next is gonna be uh

(30:25):
them Bucks, Milwaukee Bucks.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
Like you say, if they can hold on to to Giannis,
you know, they always they're always gonna be a formidable team,
you know, just because of the Greek freak.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
He is what he is.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
You know, he's a superhero.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
So you know, I got them in six Atlanta with
them getting uh prisingers, I got them moving in at
number five. I think that's gonna be a good combination
for Trey, you know what I'm saying. Gives him an
outside shooter, you know him to him a dish too,
and uh you know, is he drive?

Speaker 1 (30:55):
I like, I like Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
That's number five, right, yeah, number five moving in that
Moving up number four, we're going Orlando, Orlando. I think,
uh Polo and the edition of Desmond Bang. I think
it's gonna be uh, there's gonna be a good combination.
You know them boys, you know that, Like you said,
they're sleeper team. You know what I'm saying, Who is

(31:19):
the other uh, the other young white boy on there,
the bubble double boy.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
You know, he's he's a good double double for.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
For ye.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
So yeah, yeah yeah with him? With him? Is that
you know that kind of.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Third wheel is like we were saying about check, kind
of that third option wheel. You know, I think they're
gonna be formal. He's number two, he's number two on
the team. Fine, number two, Yeah all right, moving up,
moving up to my number three team. I hate this team,
I really do, because they you know, they let you down, saying.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Cleveland, oh clean, okayay, this is for you yeah three
yeah Cleveland. Yeah yeah, that lost people lost right for
number two and one? That makes sense, that makes sense.
Number three look at so yeah. Yeah, you know, just
a team that's underachieved. And even though they yeah about

(32:23):
one seed last year, we're not talking about the playoffs
one last I just said I just said Chief went
under achieved a they won a lot of games. Yes,
and that looks good on paper. So let me ask
you this. If they win sixty four games in the
regular season this year, what see they gonna be?

Speaker 2 (32:44):
It'll be the first sea they've number won. But but
last year, last year, they went on a couple of
really good runs that ain't gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
This year, they went on a couple of really good
runs last year that ain't gonna happen. Okay, let me
imagine that don't have any win sixty games? What seed
they're gonna be? If they here sixty six?

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Last lit here the last te Okay, you already know
what I'm going, right, you should have window. I want
to hear the team that loved you, it came and
coddled you. We're going with the Detroit Pistols.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
That's right. That's they picked up No Flack over Detroy, Hero.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Zero. They got Charusler fir brother over Detroit, you know
the next one I know, and Ducky Robinson we got
to Detroit with that was the additions of Jade Night
even becoming better, and uh and and and then I

(33:53):
do believe that they would They're ready to take the
next leak.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Times's the big keyp.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
No argument Thompson and Ivy is gonna be like like
new players, right because thoms is gonna grow and Ivy
was out majority last year. Yeah, I think those young
brothers are ready to take the next step. You know,
hurt me number one, number one, It hurts me too.
But because of the way that the East has aligned

(34:22):
is s Mark, please, this is hard enough for me.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
This is hard the way the East has aligned themselves.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
It's kind of it's kind of written for him, and
I hate the New York mix New York it is
aligned for them. And trust me, Mark, I do not
like them at all. Me and him went head up
last year over the damn table number two. I had
to make it number two. Yeah, you know, I say,
I think with the with the with the addition of

(34:53):
clarksks got him and the bridges and everything, I think
a really good team that that motherfucker Clarkson leader. He
don't lead him on fucking empty. Every time he leaded,
he won't leave shot in the host.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
They needed bench scoring. They need the bench scoring, and
he's a perfect guy for that because because he come
in and he ain't never bridges like that.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
When they still picked up Malcolm program too, Nobody hit
the backup off the bench.

Speaker 7 (35:27):
The number one for him, right, they got Indiana boy
going go ahead, Mark back and listen what.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
I'm I'm I'm with him.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
That's the New York number one man. But I can't
I can't argue too much with that, August.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Anybody else down I'm telling you right now for the
deaf is not gonna make it. I mean, they won't
be in an eight. They might be in the playing
and number team whatever, but they're not gonna be I'm
telling you the MT and George, look, you gotta plays
at least the way it is.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
They gotta be better than that Mark. They's not gonna
be the time coin toss. But the problem is if
either one, particularly m B, they're making the playoffs, yeah
one of them. You have Miami your list? Huh? Did
you have Miami and your list?

Speaker 2 (36:28):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (36:29):
No, sir, No, sir, that was that was very smart. Below.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
I believe this is the year that you know, Miami
been squeezing lemons and making lemonade for a long time,
and I believe that ship is about to run out
this year.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
No they're still they lost Duncan Robinson if they're in
the Western Conference with you, If they were in the West,
I agree with you.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
But there in the East, that's they still have a chance. Yeah,
I think Duncan Robinson is just a big one for
them to overcome.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
And LeVert I would manage again one playoff winning in
two years.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Well, Laver, it's still season.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Talking about how many games they want in the playoffs.
We're talking about the regular season.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Right the season they're gonna make the playoffs. Now what
I'm this.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
South, I think Cortin's listen solid. I ain't got nothing,
no feed back to give on it. I think he
went through and it stacks up, so I have no
bad feedback, no nothing to say. I would say this
to what you are saying about the regular season playoffs
is I don't think that you can't have a lack
of success in the playoffs and the ship don't carry
over to the next season. It ain't no forking conclusion
that you're gonna win. You won one year, you're gonna

(37:39):
win next year. Every year is different. Wee, that's that's
always the case. Right.

Speaker 1 (37:43):
We could say have a great regular season and screw
up in the playoffs. But that Cleveland gonna do. That's
part of Cleveland. But they they didn't lose. Who did
they lose? There a difference year, and they didn't lose anyone.
Guys are in their prime. Ain't none of them over

(38:04):
age or old? Oh my god, they're gonna be in
their head. I'm telling you, all right.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
All right, hey, now we're gonna wrap this motherfucked up
time to come to the knowledge. I thought it was
gonna be from It's gonna be for me instead. So
I'm gonna get this. I'm gonna get an insight that
they wasn't given everywhere else.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
Timeless. Now number eight.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
I think this team, because they've been a perennial playoff contender,
because they have an infrastructure there, and because they have
a certain way of doing things, I think it precludes
they're gonna make it in top eight.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
So I gotta say number eight for me is going
to be.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
The Miami Heat. The Miami Heat get the number eight.
That's not saying that's not saying a lot for him
getting number eight. But I think because they got the
infrastructure player, I don't think they made enough moves.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
I don't think they made enough moves. But I will
tell you what you do.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
Him.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
I think we're out of bio. Do have you do
have your boy friend from Man and the go ahead?

Speaker 2 (39:10):
Yeah, So I think they have enough to get to
the A seed. That's I said a lot for him.
They see now the other team. Some of you guys
had them on your list. Some of you guys slept
them a little bit. I think injury is a definite
factor with this team. But I think when I look
around the injuries and look at the other players that
they have, I think they have enough in other players
to be able to to do something and get into

(39:31):
a flight into a seventh spot. So then I give
them a whole lot a little leeway because I think
they'll have mbat for a little bit, but as the
filt of his seventy six ers making it in the
seventh spot. And that's because look, they got MAXI coming back.
Who look, we all know Max is the dog, right.
They picked up that boy Waterford from Portland who go
way for the way upstairs and is a baller. They
picked they have McClean who was hurt most of last year.

(39:53):
He started last year he had like three fifty point
games in the first first month and a half of
the season. Mcclean's coming back. They got vj x Comb.
It came from Baylor. You know that motherfuckers a dog.
So I just think I think they have enough of
a group of players where now they'll be deep enough
where they have a good first team with them beating
them or not. If the Paul Jordan and beg him anything,

(40:14):
then I think they can get out of the seventh.
But I got them a seventh. That's just playing it safe.
So they got some injuries, but I think they've done
enough now. My number sixteen is I'm going to say
is they made some sneaky moves that everybody may not appreciate,
but I gotta put him at six. I think the
collection of things they put around Giannis the Bucks, it

(40:36):
was enough. I think the Miles turning moves, the sneak
hangs to play off. But I think he's a good
three and D guy. He's gonna protect the rim and
do some things to take the pressure off of your
Honest they picked up somebody that I thought was under
you last year, Cole Anthony. I think Cole Anthony is
a star waiting to come out Orlando never played him
enough last year. I don't know what it was with
something going on with with Greg Anthony. I said, I

(40:58):
don't know what the fuck. But Coch the better player
than people your credit for him. I think he gonna
have a breakout year. And then Gary Harris, who's a
consistent three point shooter. I think those things are enough
to propel them to six. The East not the strongest conference,
but I think it's enough to put them six because
then you got to bring some of that down because
they get't coached by Doc Rivers. Even though you got
jury doctors, ain't did it. I said, doctor doctors ain't

(41:21):
did it. And I know you you played with him
and Mark, I know you played with him West. Yeah,
probably buddies and ship but hey, it's long that ring
with Hey, that ring was a long time ago, long
time ago. Thank you, Yeah, thank yeah. Doc has improved,
he has explaining to do that, got explaining.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Yeah. Now my number five team, this team made some
sneaky good moves.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
They picked up a three point shooter that was at
the top five in the league that she's forty three
point three percent from the field.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
They picked up another one that she's forty one percent
from the field, and I think they have.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
I think you saw Trey Young start to grow in
a justin be it more of a disher. So I
think at line of hawk they got them at number five.
I think they've done enough to be number five. I think,
and you have the young boys growing up that the
one young boy led the league in steels last year,
the one from France. So I think for that collective team,
I think Presimia's even health factor too, but I think

(42:19):
if they can keep him healthy, I think they have
enough to get.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Into the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. Now, defense
boiling down, that's a good question. Play any defense.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Defense playing defense, I guard, the two guard, got a
guard to point and a guard I defense he ain't
doing now, Hey, defense ain't pretty, so it's going to
get bucket seere, so he's gonna do that.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
Now.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
My number fourteen that when I struggled with, I think
they make moves up. I think they are good and
I think they're going to I think they made some
great didi to their squad to compliment where they had
deficiencies last year. So out of the team last year,
this team shot thirty one point eight percent from the
three point line, worse than the league collected for the
entire league. They picked up a guy that shot that

(43:12):
shot thirty nine point two percent from the line, and
they picked up another one that shot that shoots which
none of you guys mentioned, but shot forty one point
four percent from the line. So I think the addition
of Tyus Jones and desen Bang makes Orlando Magic a
strong number four. And I got them finishing fourth on
my list because they patched up areas where they were

(43:33):
previously weak. So provide everybody. They's healthy, and you got
old boy from from Gonzaga coming back. So I think
I think them they're set up in position to be
a good team, to be a good team this year,
and I think they may. They busted the top four
and have a strong challenge for the number three team
by number three team.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
This team was up there last year, they slid back.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
I think they are going to slide and that's and
this is where I say success last year don't equate
to one hundred percent success this year.

Speaker 1 (44:01):
Motherfuckers. Catch up with what you do.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
Coypy kat Lee, They're gonna be shutting that shit down.
Cleveland Cavaliers is number three. I think the last couple
of years of disappointment and the playoffs plays a role
into the regular season this year where they're not gonna
have the same kind of success.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
I think motherfucker can be ready for him.

Speaker 2 (44:17):
You have if you look through the list of stuff
that you go that we talked about a lot of
people added wing players and two guards and point guards
and guards and threes to be that will be able
to get out on these guys. So I don't think
that they're gonna have the same success offensively that they
had last year. So I think Cleveland falls back. Cleveland's
probably a fifty five games this year. They won fifty

(44:41):
five and fifty five, gonna land in third place. So
number two, I think this team made great additions. I
think the team had just some great things. And I
think their up and coming team and they had one
of the budding superstar in the fucking league to a
proved it to me last year that motherfucker is a dog.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
K Cunningham is a fucking dog.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Can't say an assisting and scoring that motherfucker proved it
last year. I can't say something bad about him. I
got the Pistons FENSI number two. They picked up Krris Lavert,
a good a good guy as far as a slasher.
He's a good slasher off.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
The and plays defense and defense.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
They picked up Duncan Robinson, who shot thirty nine point
three percent from the line last year. It's just like
they picked up an acquisition with Ivy because Ivy didn't
play the majority. He didn't play the twenty games last year.
So Ivy comes back. Ivy is a dog. Mama was
a dog in the w NBA. He's gonna be a
dog in the NBA. It just that he's had bad coaching.
I think Ivy's gonna have a breakout year this year.

(45:45):
I think that's where you're going to see the best
of him. And then I think overall just that those editions,
I think it's going to be big, and with Ivy
coming back, I think they'll grow another year. I think
they got a little bit more help for k. I
think the Pisers are gonna be dangerous. That Pison is
gonna be a really good games year, and you know,
I'm looking forward to seeing them come out and establish
themselves a dominant team.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
Number One.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
I think this team UH did addition by no subtraction,
which is smart thing to do. You gotta allow teams
time to mature, and I think the New York Knicks
did that. I think the addition of Mike Brown is
gonna bring a different element to the team. I think
he's not gonna run the players in the ground like

(46:28):
was the previous case, so I was going to balance
it out instiboo. He always started to the grounds. By
the time the playoffs come, then they're worn out. But
I think by not making a lot of changes, as
everybody mentioned earlier, I agree with it. Jordan Clarkson was
a big, a big pick up. When you talked about
getting points off the bench consistently, that motherfucking give you points.

(46:48):
He gonna shoot that bitch there time to get it,
and he gonna have a green light every time you
touch it. But he gonna he gets some buckets, hey,
and sometimes they come in fucking bunches.

Speaker 1 (46:56):
And I think that takes that that will help take.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
Pressure off of of off of Jaylen Brunson to be
able to be his best in the end, So that'll
lord his meeting minutes. And then one other key pickup
that nobody else mentioned is you'rebcelli old boy that plays
on the French national team that was in Philadelphia last
year that played the four. Ubcelli is a sneaky good pickup.
He played good for Philadelphia last year. I think he's

(47:20):
gonna play good for these guys. He's a three in
D guy too. He can shoot the three, he can
put it on the floor, he can play down low.
I think your Selli is a sneaking a really good
pickup for the Knicks and gonna add to their bench.
He's gonna add some depth to their bench, and I
think they're gonna be good. I think they need Mitchell
Robinson to stay healthy so he can play the rim
protector that Towns isn't. But if Mitchell Robinson stays healthy,

(47:43):
I think that that fuels their team, makes their defense
more improved, much improved.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
And makes them a better team.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
I think the Knicks the door is wide opening in
the Eastern Conference, we said, and I think the Knicks
are gonna walk right through it. And by sticking keeping
the team together and not getting down on bridges and
all that shit, I think they're gonna do it. The Knicks,
all right, I'm talking about the regular season Eastern Conference.
Get feedback feedback for show, Let me just say something

(48:11):
real quick. I'm about tied to all y'all with this
Philly talk, and it's my HANDI talk. I cannot wait
to see a we gotta go back and do a comeback.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
Show and his bullshit.

Speaker 2 (48:20):
Let me tell you right now, Philly we all, I'm
gonna be laughing about all these city picks because I
just don't trust them.

Speaker 1 (48:27):
When look, when you're star players and they are the
star players, and be in George, MAXI is a Max
he is right right there too. But your two biggest
players in B and George, I don't trust either one
of them. No, there's no way I don't trust them.
I don't know. Maybe y'all might trust him. I don't know, No,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (48:43):
I don't think we trust them because we put them
down at at eight and seven. I got, I got
what you got the gonumber.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
Ten, their talent level such a exactly for that man. Yeah,
I can ignore it and I will ignore it.

Speaker 2 (49:04):
I don't think Paul George number two, MAXI is the
number two, and that Georgia number three, three, And then
I think when you add the other guys, edge Combe,
you got Watford, you got McLean, Who's ball last before
he got hurt.

Speaker 1 (49:18):
I think you have the other guys in they got
some talent. Look, but but the thing is what throws
them up every year is and be in Atlanta and
Atlanta that sucks up the chemistry all years play. I mean,
that ship fucks it up. You know what I'm saying that.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
I know that.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
I mean, even with that, they gonna be. They're gonna
be that gifted. He's a gifted. He's very chalented. Every
year he every year he starts off, he's a candidate
for m v P. I'm not doubting the talent that
he has. I'm not doubting that talent wise. I mean,

(50:00):
we're not gonna say he's gonna win the East. We're
saying he's gonna be in the playoffs. What's what's real? Quick?

Speaker 2 (50:07):
You think that the Pistons are excuse me, Orlando is
is better than the Pistons.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
You think that the roster I think I.

Speaker 3 (50:15):
Think it's a little bit of a coin toss. I really,
but I'm gonna go with the team. I'm going with
the Pistons, Okay, but I think it's a coin toss.

Speaker 2 (50:25):
I think it's a coin toss, all right, But for
y'all Orlando, or Orlando, Is they thikky good? They were
where they were deficient last year.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
I thought they did a great job of addressing where
they were week last year, both those teams.

Speaker 3 (50:44):
I mean, if we had the show last year, we
didn't even talk about them, either one of them exactly.

Speaker 1 (50:49):
Yeah, right, you're right. But y'all just tell them about
either being four or five or three or four or
whatever and in the in the in the East. Yeah
yeah for me. For me, it's the havels for y'all
to put the calfs third and fourth. The calves always had.

Speaker 4 (51:05):
They can't what they had fifty one wins did before
and didn't have forty eight wins. Now they got sixty four.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
Now they're gonna go down. They're gonna do they know
they're gonna get at least fifty wins this year back
win is it?

Speaker 3 (51:20):
Well?

Speaker 1 (51:22):
If they get wait, they get the number one in
the East, they want.

Speaker 2 (51:30):
To see what could be wins might put them numbers
over the East because them teams from the East come
to the West.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
They're getting beat down. Yeah, what I'm gonna take you
to the West.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
What I'm gonna tell you is this a lot of
the wins that Cleveland booked last year against Orlando and
against Detroit, that it ain't happening this year.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
That's where those teams they've caught up. They've caught up
with Cleveland. I don't know, I caught up. I don't know.
We'll see, I.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
Don't nobody Cleveland Cleveland man again, Cleveland is more talented
the big fellas. But when you look at the Garden Blake,
then mother fucker can match those teams, can match up
with with them. Now you put Ivy out there on the.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
Floor with with k like, come on, you can't.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
You what? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, he look down
Downovan Mitchell. They'll cancel each other out. But I'll tell
you this, Kate is a better Kate is a better,
uh better all around player than Donovan Mitchell. Is he
the better sister, better diamer and a better rebounded than

(52:38):
domm Donavan nominee.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
Everywhere dim went, he got buckets.

Speaker 2 (52:48):
All around and all around, all around off of the
player and he and everywhere Diamond bitchall go, he gets bouts.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
Playoffs. I don't know the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (52:58):
You know, the young boy from from Detroit and Orlando.
They ain't been to the playoffs yet. That that's ain't
been there yet. Last year, Orlando last year, yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
Me, last year, because you got Darris Garland out there
to for Cleveland, Orlando did get bounced, correct, they did.
They did. Garland off though the big games he'd be
off and on too.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Thought, yeah they off and on some times he ain't
aggressive enough like.

Speaker 1 (53:35):
That he ain't either, he ain't invest what what what?

Speaker 2 (53:38):
You know?

Speaker 3 (53:39):
They got the big basket man, they got who, they
got defense many they had that basket lady playing volleyball.

Speaker 1 (53:52):
No, No, they tough, They tough, They tough.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
But I just think last year though, last year, if
you watched the last year, because I watched it a lot.
Last year, they went on some some very good runs
last year.

Speaker 3 (54:08):
The good team, because like I said, we're talking about
them being four three three or four in the in
the East.

Speaker 2 (54:14):
Now we're last year, we wouldn't have had this conversation,
so we know they're good. Yeah, they're better than the
guys who were at the top. Wrong last year, let me,
but you're talking about they're better than Cleveland. But then
all of a sudden they ain't no better than New
York and let.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Me ask you this mark. Last last year, I was
the number one team, not as good as they were.
But wherever New York finish is three, they let's go back.
Let's go back team, no changes in their in their line.
It happens on time.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
Let's go back two years the Denver Nuggets won the
championship and we're the number one seed in the Western Conference.
Then last year where they finished number four. Right, that
ship happens.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
It does happen, but it's not automatic. It's not like
they could go from one all of a sudden just
up out of the playoffs. No, no, anybody said play
you be a little Orlando gonna be better than they are.
I think.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
Okay, okay, let's let's take your scenario, right, Ye, same
thing can happened to the Knicks.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
Ye, dropping back. All you're talking about is Cleveland dropping back.

Speaker 3 (55:22):
But not.

Speaker 1 (55:24):
Only because because of.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
My well thinking is it's just the way they went
out last year, because and to me, they're gonna take
a step back, just one that because that goett is
playing your head to win all them dog over games
all year long and then to go into the playoffs
as a as a as a big favorite. Everybody had
Cleveland at least baging to the East Cravins final and

(55:48):
again bout the fact that in the first round. To me,
the Knicks better than I have no injuries, because if
they had injuries and don't win it all, I don't
want hear nothing. I gonna hear it from don't hegging
that trash next man up, I feel you. You told
me now, right, especially no excuses for not doing what

(56:12):
you're saying. The closed and what my response, My response
to that Cleveland is this, I think they peaked last year.

Speaker 1 (56:20):
So when you peak, there's only one place to go down.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
I think that teams peaked, and they did the most
we're gonna do last year during the regular season. They
showed out, they had no gas up for the playoffs.
They peaked, not going down. That's what I said about Cleveland. Yeah,
that's what said about Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (56:34):
So I can tell you this.

Speaker 3 (56:38):
Cleveland was number one, right, didn't get to the final.
So same thing that happened to your Knicks, Right, they
could be number one and not get to the fine
it could happen, and then we're gonna say the same
thing about that, right, we.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Visited that when it happens, because we're definitely gonna say
something about we're.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
Gonna be all We're gonna be all down from here.
We got from here, so from here we got these
the gun. We will come back and do it, Mark, Mark,
we want and we're want to write you back West.
We're gonna I just got the Western Conference do next week,
but we're gonna invite you back. We're goanna do a
midseason check in so we'll be able to put everybody
I'm holding cards on whatever.

Speaker 1 (57:18):
We're gonna come back. We're go talking about you're gonna.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
See how many of the lists have the same teams
about like at least three of us, right, yeah, pretty
or in different orders, but they have the same teams
three of us.

Speaker 1 (57:30):
Yeah, boy, y'all got the same team. Y'all got.

Speaker 7 (57:35):
One?

Speaker 1 (57:36):
Yeah, number one, two, three, four of us get the
next time morning.

Speaker 2 (57:39):
You don't only want to get Cleveland, Okay, the other
one that you only want to believe in Cleveland, and
I played for Cleveland. I'm going with the okay, all right,
real quick pivoting off of the basketball the basketball team
spot coming back and hitting the nb A ship one

(58:00):
more time next week.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
Next week, we're talking about Mark's sons of his son,
the son. We gonna see what we gonna see where
