This is a big day here, the launch of my podcast called Horse(wo)manship with Vicki Rose! On this first episode I interview Jenny McCallister of River Horse Ranch in Cave Creek, Arizona. Jenny specializes in helping troubled horses regain their curiosity, trust, and confidence. In this episode we talk about patience with horses and children (Jenny has a two toddlers in addition to all she does with the horses!). We chat about the importance of noticing how your horse breathes and how they respond when you enter their stall. And in a beautiful moment where tears rose to the surface, we talked about the legacy that our mentors laid out for us and how committed we both are to carrying that legacy forward.
