Rainbow Six Siege's Year 9 Season 4, titled 'Operation Collision Point,' is set to introduce several significant updates and features. One of the major additions is the implementation of console to PC crossplay, allowing players to squad up across different platforms, although console players will need to queue in PC lobbies and will be penalized if using mouse and keyboard through the MouseTrap system[2][3][4].

The season will also see a significant rework of the operator Blackbeard, who will receive a new H.U.L.L. Adaptable Shield gadget.
