In this episode of Hot Seat: Media Monday, Ron Klopfanstein interviews Mark Usyk, an artist, author, and outdoorsman, along with blogger and writing teacher Jess Santacroce. The show also includes a video report from the Newport Short Film Showcase. 

Mark shares insights into his diverse background, including his previous work as a hot rod fabricator and blacksmith, as well as his current passions for fishing and art. We discuss his connection to the Oriskany Creek (or Oriskany Crick)  and its significance to both of us. Mark also talks about how nature influences his art, particularly through wood burning and the use of natural materials.
