This episode of the Inner Awareness Podcast explores the yearning of the third heart – Atman – which expresses itself as a longing for truth, freedom, and love. The yearning for truth involves removing self-deception and seeing yourself as you really are; the yearning for freedom is about releasing karmic baggage and moving your identity from the individual self (Jivatman) back into the universal self (Paramatman); and the yearning for love is not personal but a universal experience where you become love itself. All three yearnings connect at the highest level, and when centered in Atman, you experience bliss and recognize that diversity is only an appearance.
