(00:23):
putting his life in danger. The movie begins with a
group of friends from the same town playing and laughing
near a lake. The next day, a teacher named Lucas
arrives at the kindergarten, where the children greet him and
begin to play. Later, while they are in the class room,

(00:43):
one of the children asks to go to the bathroom,
so the principal orders Lucas to accompany him. Later, Lucas
leaves the supermarket along with his pet Fanny, and sees Clara,
the daughter of his best friend Theo, who tells him
she doesn't remember where she lives. Realizing that she's lost,

(01:04):
he offers to take her home. On the way, they

at Clara's house, Lucas greets her parents, THEO, and Agnes,

(01:31):
then talks with the man about his distant relationship with
his ex wife and son. At home, Lucas makes a
call to his ex wife to ask her to let
him spend more time with his son, but the woman refuses.
That same afternoon, Clara's brother and his friends show her
an adult image. Later, Clara is sitting outside her house

(01:53):
while her parents argue. Lucas sees her sad and calls
THEO to tell him he will take her to school,
and on the way, Clara holds his hand. When they
arrive at school, Clara wraps a heart shaped gift and,
after writing her name on it, puts it in Lucas's coat.
Then she goes to a classroom where Lucas is playing

(02:15):
with the children. This makes her happy, so she approaches
him and kisses him. He becomes uncomfortable and quickly separates
her from him. Moments later, Lucas finds the gift, and,
realizing Clara's intention, decides to return it to her. The
girl denies that it's hers, but then accepts it and

(02:37):
walks away angry. Hours later, Clara is still at school
because she hasn't been picked up. At that moment, she
decides to confess to the principle that she hates Lucas,
that he showed her his private parts and gave her
the heart. This ends up shocking the principle. Meanwhile, Lucas

(02:58):
is in the school's kitchen learning that his son will
stay with him for a while. Moments later, he talks
with a colleague named Nadia, and after having a coffee,
they both end up confessing their love for each other. Later,
when Lucas is out a meeting with his friends, Nadia
calls him so they can see each other. The man
takes his best friend to his house, then meets up

(03:19):
with Nadia and they are intimate. The next day, the
school principal decides to talk to Lucas to tell him
that one of the children said they saw his private parts,
so she suggests he take a few days off. Lucas
is surprised, but accepts the suggestion anyway. Later, Gretti calls
a specialist to talk to Clara about the matter, but
when he asks her about what happened, the girl denies everything. However,

(03:43):
after insisting. Clara nods, confirming that what was said is true.
Hours later, Gretti meets with Agnes and tells her that
her daughter had an interaction with an adult from the school.
Agnes is shocked and cannot believe what she is hearing.
The time for the parent meeting arrives and Gretie informs
them about the interaction between an adult and a child

(04:04):
on the premises and that it is likely not an
isolated case. The next day, while Lucas is sleeping with Nadia,
he receives a call from his son Marcus. The young man, crying,
tells him that he has heard negative things about him
and therefore they will no longer be able to live together.
After the call, Lucas tells Nadia what is going on.

(04:26):
Hours later, Lucas goes to the school and asks Greti
not to involve his family. The woman ends up confessing
to him that Clara was the one who told her everything.
Lucas then goes to his best friend's house to clarify
things with his daughter. The man tells him that Clara
has never lied and has no reason to do so now.
Then Agnes arrives and starts treating him badly. Teo ends

(04:48):
up threatening Lucas. Clara then appears and greets her teacher,
but he ignores her and leaves. Clara asks her mother
if she is angry with Lucas, and then confesses that
she lied because because the man never did anything to her.
The woman refuses to believe her because she thinks her
daughter is trying to forget the experience she went through.
Gretty and the teachers then meet with Nadia to inform

(05:11):
her that they have reported Lucas to the police and
that some parents have identified symptoms in their children related
to what happened to Clara. Later, Clara arrives at Lucas's
house and tells him that people say he did bad
things to her and other children. She then starts crying,
saying that she doesn't remember what he did to her.
Lucas only asks her to come back home. Nadia hears

(05:33):
everything and asks the man if he touched Clara. This
makes Lucas angry, and upon realizing that Nadia doubts him,
he kicks her out of his house. Christmas arrives, and Clara,
along with her brother, puts up decorations in their home.
The young man watches his sister and starts crying. Meanwhile,
Lucas is sleeping and suddenly his dog, Fanny starts barking.

(05:56):
He quietly goes to the back door and when he
opens it, he sees his son Marcus. They hug each
other tightly and enter the house. While talking, Marcus starts
to cry. Moments later, Lucas's friend arrives and they talk
about the police investigation. Later, Marcus is shopping at the supermarket.
One of the staff approaches him and tells him that

(06:18):
neither he nor Lucas are welcome. Marcus leaves the place angry.
When he arrives home, he finds his father with two
police officers. The man tells him that he has been
arrested and to call his mother to pick him up.
Marcus tries to get into his house but doesn't have
the key, so he goes to theo's house to see
if he has a copy. The man asks him if

(06:41):
he's okay, and Marcus asks to talk. Then they sit
at the table while other friends arrive for dinner. Agnes
approaches and Marcus asks her if they are going to
help his father. At that moment, Clara appears and the
young man tells her that he needs to talk to her.
Then he gets angry and asks why she he's lying
about his father. Not getting an answer, he treats the

(07:04):
girl badly, so THEO and his friend push him out
of Marcus insists on talking to Clara and hits Theo's friend,
but the man retaliates and knocks him to the ground
with two punches. Marcus gets up and keeps yelling at
them as he leaves. Then he goes to Broom's house,
his father's friend, who welcomes him immediately and introduces him

(07:25):
to his relatives. The young man settles in and asks
about Lucas's situation. Broom explains that the man could go
to pretrial detention or be released due to lack of evidence,
since the children claimed the events happened in Lucas's basement,
which doesn't actually exist. That night, Marcus stays at Broome's house,

(07:45):
and before sleeping, he observes paintings of hunters. The next day,
Broome wakes Marcus up to tell him that his father
has been released. Very happy, the young man leaves to
meet Lucas. They hug each other and return home with
him their friends. When they arrive, they greet their dog,
Fanny and let her roam free. After a while, Marcus

(08:06):
calls Fanny, but she doesn't return. Lucas tells him not
to worry. Then they prepare dinner and tidy up the house.
Just then a large rock crashes through the window, shattering it.
Marcus and Lucas tried to shield themselves from the broken
glass to avoid getting hurt. Moments later, they leave the
house and Lucas finds his dog, Fanny, lifeless inside a

(08:30):
black bag. His son, very angry, starts yelling. The next day,
Lucas begins digging Fanny's grave in the garden. That's when
Broome arives to ask why he sent Marcus to his mother. Lucas,
very agitated, tells him to leave him alone and then
kicks him out of his house. Later, he goes to
the supermarket and the butcher, upon seeing him, orders him

(08:52):
to leave. When Lucas doesn't comply, the butcher ends up
hitting him. The man tries to ask for an explanation
for his behavior, but the workers hold him down and
throw him out onto the street. Despite his injuries, Lucas
returns to the store and headbuts the butcher. When the
man leaves the place. THEO, Agnes and her daughter see

(09:12):
him very hurt, and then the girl asks about Fanny.
On Christmas Eve, Lucas, very sad, tries to clean his
wounds and puts on a suit to attend Christmas Mass
while taking a drink. When he arrives at the church,
everyone looks at him with rejection. Then he sits and
exchanges glances with THEO. The children begin to sing, while

(09:33):
Lucas cries and keeps looking at the man. This affects
him greatly and he tries to control himself. Then he
stands up and walks toward THEO. He hits him and
with a mix of anger and sadness, forces him to
look into his eyes, telling him there's nothing left in him. Later,
while Clara is sleeping, THEO sits next to her. The

(09:54):
girl confesses that what she said was silly and that
she didn't mean to cause anything bad. This makes the
man feel bad. Moments later, he prepares some food. Agnes
sees him and asks if he's going to Lucas's house.
THEO only tells her to move aside. Moments later, he
arrives at Lucas's house, wakes him up and asks him
to eat what he brought. The man accepts and tells

(10:15):
him that if he wants, he can leave, but theo
decides to stay to keep him company. A year later,
everyone in the village gathers at Broom's house to celebrate
Marcus's house license. The man gives him a rifle as
a gift from Lucas, which always belonged to his family.
Moments later, Lucas is waiting for dinner, and upon seeing
Clara embarrassed at the door, he approaches her and carries

(10:36):
her to her father. Later, Lucas and Marcus go hunting,
and when Lucas is left alone, he gets shot. Frightened,
he falls on his back and sees a silhouette pointing
a rifle at him, but it was only his imagination
because of everything that had happened, thus ending the film.
