Wonderful.
How are you?
Over the years, you've grown aremarkable following.
However, some listeners mightnot be familiar with your full
journey.
Let's take it from the top.
(00:58):
Could you share a littlebackground about your company
and what you do about yourcompany and what you do,
absolutely.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
So.
Our company is called CohesiveMovement Center.
We are a community aerialtraining facility and we cater
to anyone who's curious aboutthe aerial industry pole
specific, as well as Lyra, silksand Bungie.
We also are a cross-trainingfacility, so we do offer a gym
(01:28):
facility as well, in addition tothe aerial, so that folks have
a place to train and cross-train.
You can have just a gymmembership here as well, and we
also offer aerial memberships aswell, from beginners to
advanced.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Okay, and when you're
not busy running a business,
what do you do for fun?
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Oh well, I actually
do a lot of creative things.
I have a great time spendingtime with my husband, but I do a
lot of my creative outlet I'mgetting back into from my
childhood sewing, custom work, custom dance outfits and a lot
of like clothing, clothing gear,gear.
Yeah, a lot of gear.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah, in my spare
time I also have a husband.
I'm a dog mom.
In my spare time I bling outshoes.
We have a sister company calledRadiant Custom Designs where I
actually make custom tumblers, hydro jugs I can customize them
to anybody.
And I also do platforms for ourdancers in the aerial arena as
(02:34):
well, which look great from astage.
Other than that, I'm a huge carnut so I love cars.
My husband and I are very intothat lifestyle and I'm kind of a
horror movie buff.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
I'm happy, happy,
happy cheery one.
And I love to be outdoors.
I do a lot of stuff outdoors, alot of hiking, a lot of
adrenaline rushing thingsoutdoors.
That's kind of me, but I'm nota horror person.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
So we know marketing
is key to any business success.
How do you market your business?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Currently, we are
marketing a lot on social media,
which is Instagram.
We have a YouTube channel aswell and we also have a TikTok.
We also have our own personalpages and it is personal pages
are separate, but our businessis cohesive underscore movement
underscore center and TikTok isactually just cohesive movement
(03:30):
center, I'm sorry, not TikTokYouTube, and that's how we're
marketing.
We are also marketing by wordof mouth.
Yes, we meet with many peopleevery day who are interested in
what we're doing, so we get theopportunity to talk about it
quite a bit.
In our aerial community, wehave a lot of people who are
supporting our mission so, jilland rosie, you both are very
(03:51):
busy people, so in your ownwords.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Why are you?
doing this well, I come from amedical background.
She's a corporate background.
I was a dancer growing up andgrew up really quickly and
didn't have a choice, got intothe medical field.
I love what I do but I missedthat creative point of movement
and was just like becoming arobot.
(04:14):
I got back into the aerialworld about 15 years ago and it
became a click.
It became just different thingsand I wanted, always wanted it
like when I was up north, a goodhomey feeling community.
I stumbled into her class oneday and we have been talking
about it ever since, for almosttwo years.
(04:35):
So we just want a safe placefor people to come and train.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Very much.
Yep, I've actually been aclassically trained dancer my
whole life.
I started dancing at the age oftwo, so I've been dancing for
over 40 years.
I've coached and donechoreography for many years.
Dance has always been a secondhome to me and about two years
ago I decided to make it myfull-time job.
(05:02):
We spent a lot of time creatingthe stream together.
We realized that we had a lotof similarities in what we
wanted to create and we decidedto gel them together to create
Cohesive Movement Center, andit's just basically to create a
safe space for people to trainon their own time, versus being
in a classroom setting whereyou're taking a class for 60
(05:24):
minutes and then you're out thedoor.
We wanted to create a spacewhere you don't have to feel
like you have to leave.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Oh, like a community
center.
So if I come in and I exercise,I do the routine and stay and
hang out and enjoy.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Exactly, exactly, yep
.
And we also are a first formsupplement retailer, so we offer
our members access to asupplement bar after workouts,
which includes a post-workoutstack and ways to help your body
recover appropriately so thatyou can continue that momentum
and consistency.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Love it.
Jill and Rosie, we'll catch youin the next episode, where
we'll dive into some frequentlyasked questions.
Have a fantastic rest of yourday, thank you.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
