Martin de Muralt es una figura destacada en la seguridad y la aplicación de la ley en Suiza. Fue designado como Delegado de la Red Nacional de Seguridad, donde coordina políticas y medidas de seguridad entre la Confederación y los cantones.
Antes de este cargo, de Muralt tuvo una carrera distinguida en varios puestos relacionados con la seguridad. Fue director de Champ-Dollon en Ginebra, la prisión con mayo número de reclusos en Suiza. También, ocupó roles como capitán en el ejercito y comandante de la policía en la región de Morges.
