Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello guys, welcome back to my channel, and welcome to
a brand new series. This is going to be a
week long series something I've never done on my channel,
and it's going to be called Freak Week. I mentioned
that I was doing this series a couple of weeks
ago in a video, and you guys were so excited
about it, so I'm so pumped to do it.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I am so excited for Freak Week.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
And if you don't know what this is, I'm going
to be uploading a spooky or Halloween themed topic video
every single day for an entire week right before Halloween,
because I love Halloween.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Halloween is definitely one of my favorite times of the year.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
And so I get a lot of topics requested that
I thought I would save for the month of October
and put them all together, and some of them are
urban legends.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
We're gonna talk about serial killers, all types of fun stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
So I'd be like this kind of content, Give it
a big thumbs up, and let me know that you
want to see Freak Week again next year. Since scary
videos like this often are not able to be monetized
because they're not considered a vertise of friendly airy stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
For some reason is like a big no no if
you guys really do.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Like this series, though, I did design a special shirt
just to support this series.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
This is the design. It's a sugar skull. I'm obsessed
with it.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Since if you order one, you won't be getting it
till after Halloween. I wanted to make sure it was
something that was like still sort of Halloween even, but
it is wearable if you're like me. I mean I
wear sugar Soul stuff like all year. So, but it's
a really cool design. It has the galaxy in the
background and then the back of them says Freak Week.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
And not only if you get the coolest.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Shirt, you are also supporting this channel and supporting Freak Week.
And if you want to pick one up, there's a
like in the description box. But let's go ahead and
get into our first topic, which.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Is the black Eyed Children.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
People requests that I talk about the black Eyed Children
all the time. The black Eyed Children is really really preevy.
It is an urban legend, so the same category as
like slender Man.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Which I will be making a video on, you know,
bigfoot stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's never been proven false, but it's never been proven true.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
It's like one of those situations.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
So if you normally like my videos because I really
give you the facts, this is not gonna be one
of those videos that's full of facts because it's a
lot of just people's encounters and stories, similar to the
Men in Black, Like it's you know, up to you
at the end, if you want to believe it or not.
Nothing is credible. People could just be making this shit up,
but let's go ahead and look into it. So the
story of the Black Eyed Children kind of resurfaced in
the late nineties and has been really lighting up the

(02:14):
internet all over creepy pasta.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
You know, there's tons of.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
YouTube videos about it, and I don't know how many
of them are credible. Normally there don't link any sources,
but black Eyed Children are a strange phenomenon that a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Of people have reported.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
There are a lot of encounters and the stories are
very similar, which makes me think, Okay, like if it's
the same stuff over and over again, maybe there is
something to this. Maybe really people are seeing this kind
of stuff. Sorry, guys, I had to bring in some
backup lighting. It was getting a little too.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Dark in here. This is actually my first time.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Filming at night so I'm trying to experiment with it
make it look a little more spooky.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
So here we go. So anyway, the black eyed children
are strange.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Phenomenon that so many people have reported, and basically their
stories are very similar. Most of them start with people
in their houses hearing a loud noise outside the middle.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Of the night or knock at their door or something
like that.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
And when they go to the door, it's kids, and
they're not acting like normal kids.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
And most of the encounters that I've.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Heard, the children are being really creepy, sound robotic. They're
just really like uncomfortable and seem almost unnatural. And people
describe getting this feeling of doubt and like worry and concern,
like just a bad feeling basically comes upon them when
they see the black eyed children. Now, normally in these
stories that people don't realize that they are the black

(03:28):
eyed children. They don't actually see their black eyes, because
the black eyed children are known for being between the
ages of like five and seventeen. I've seen and they
have completely black eyes, not even getting their whole.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Eyes are like completely black.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Now, there are contact lenses that can do this, So
if people have seen this, is it possible that people
are just screwing with people, just like people dress up
as clowns and run through the streets to scare people.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Absolutely, so I don't know if they're real. I just
don't know. But there's so many stories.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Some people say that they go to the door and
they answer the door because they're concerned, like stories even
like there's one woman in Vermont that was really popular,
chance at the door at like two am, and the
children were at the door, looking scared and asking to
come in. And that's the thing with black eyed children
is they cannot come into your residence unless they are invited.
So they ask you repeatedly, try to guilt trip you

(04:20):
because they're children. And normally they're described as being like
super pale, wearing kind of old bed like nightgowns, like
kind of old fashioned stuff, just you know, the creepiest
outfit possible.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
They can't tell you who.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
They are, what their name is, or their parents' name
or anything like that, and they just stand there and
they make you feel bad, and if you invite them.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Into your house, you're basically fucked.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Apparently, when you invite them into your house, maybe you
try to make them some cookies, or hot chocolate or something.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
That's what a lot of these stories have.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Eventually you see they look up fully and you see
that they have black eyes. And as soon as you
make eye contact with them and connect, people report feeling dizzy,
getting nosebleeds, getting sick. People have reports getting cancer afterwards,
or something really bad will happen to them, like a
car accident after their encounter with the black eyed children.
A lot of these stores don't really talk about how
they got the children to leave or like how it ended,

(05:09):
So I don't know if it's like really adoptive.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Believe a lot of these, but it is always the
same thing.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
And in fact, I want to read one that I
found on Reddit today that I haven't really seen people
talk about. Okay, so this has to be the weirdest
freakist thing that has happened to me, and I have
had a lot of run ins with paranormal stuff. I
should start off by stating that I lived in an
apartment at the time, on the third floor. Late one night,
I heard a knock on the door. I thought it
was our door, but it wasn't ours. It was our neighbors,
and I looked out the people there were two kids

(05:37):
standing outside of his door.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
They looked to be thirteen and maybe six.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I heard them ask to use my neighbor's phone, but
I didn't see him open his door at.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
All or even respond.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
At first, this all seemed odd, but nothing too strange.
Maybe they were lost and the other neighbors didn't.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Answer their doors. It wasn't until they both looked.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Over at me when I made no sound to suggest
that I was at the door, that I really realized
that the situation was more.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Than just odd. The way that they looked at.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
My door made me think they could see right through it.
That wasn't creepy enough. The more I focused on them,
I realized they had dark black eyes, as if their
pupils were fully dilated or something. This extremely creepy feeling
flooded over me, and it felt like death. I immediately
ran away from the door and sat on my couch
waiting for a knock on the door. After what seemed
like forever, I peeked through the peep hole and they

(06:25):
were gone.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Why were these kids wandering around late at night?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Why did they climb up three flights of stairs to
use a stranger's phone? Why did I get such a
bad feeling. The next morning, I ran into our neighbor
and asked him about the night before. He looked at
me a little shaken and asked if they came to
my door too, and that he didn't let them use
his phone because they looked like they were on drugs
or something.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
He also told me.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
That he called the police and they told him that
his friends need to stop calling in with the same
story or they would be in trouble. But he lives alone.
Fast forward a few weeks later, I was telling my
friend about these strange children and she just kept staring
at me and shows. She asked me if I had
ever heard of the black eyed children, and I laughed
at her and told her no.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
She tipes it in on her phone handed to me,
and holy.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Shit balls, guys, there is a lot of people who
have had the same experience.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
From what I've read.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
It's a good thing that my neighbor didn't open his door.
Apparently if he would have, he could have died. Some
people reported that their family members caught illness after letting
them in and dying a horrible, slow death. It's been
one year and we have moved into a town home
in a secluded area. The first month we moved in,
I kept feeling like someone.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Was watching me late at night. Then the knocking started.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Someone would just knock on her door almost every other night,
just three solid knocks, knock, knock, knock. Every time I
tried to look at who it was, there was.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
No one there. This continued for a whole month.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
No, I wasn't just hearing things, because it would wake
our son almost every time, as if he felt the
dreaded feeling I felt with every knock. Then one night
we just heard one kid bang at the door and
nothing ever happened. I don't know if it was the
neighbor's kids playing a prank or if the children followed us,
but either way, I won't be opening my door to
strange knocks at night. So I mean, like I said,

(08:04):
this is just on Reddit. I don't know if it's true.
I definitely can't confirm it. There's also one other story
that I wanted to touch on because it's one of
the things that comes up a lot when you've searched
this on YouTube, and I think a lot of you've
probably heard of it or are going to go look.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
At it after I do this video.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
But there's this channel, I think it's called Fantastic Daily,
and there's this guy and he really really believes in
the black Eyed children. He's like made it his life
mission to try to capture them and his all these stories.
But I mean, my problem with it is he has
zero sources for anything, and he's making some big.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Claims for the first time ever black eyed children have
been captured, photographed, and arrested. Welcome back to Fantastic Daily.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
As far as I can figure out, the stories that
he's talking about are stories that definitely have originated from him,
like he is the original source of all of them.
Basically his stories that two kids in Manchester, two black
eyed children were arrested, which is kind of odd because
if they are type of magical being, how are they
getting arrested, Like, I don't know, it's super weird.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
And would it be on the news or anything. I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
And like I said, there's not a single source for
this other than this guy on YouTube running this channel.
And if he's just doing it for fun, I mean,
no shame he's trying to make a YouTube channel, I
get it. But I mean, if he's telling the truth
and he does have some access to sources that none
of us do for no reason.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I don't know. Maybe he's telling the truth.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
His story is that these two black eyed children got
arrested in Manchester because they went to a hotel.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
They've been seen panhandling around the town apparently.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
And police have been called on them multiple times, and
they were like homeless kids.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
They have fully black eyes. Of course, it's odd because.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
They're not wearing the clothes that the black eyed children
are normally seen wearing, like those old pajamas, like I said,
and they're normally super pale.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Now there's only one photo.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
There's two kids, but there's only one photo that this
guy can provide, and it's a girl who could have
easily been photoshopped.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
I will say, but it looks really creepy. However, I
don't think her.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Skin is as pale as a black eyed children's skin
is supposed to be. But he says that they went
into this hotel and they tried to get the keys
from the clerk, and the clerk wouldn't give it to them.
Then all of a sudden, the clerk looks kind of
possessed and he just walks back to the break room
and lets them have the keys, like he just gets
in it and they take the keys and go around
the hotel they.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Stole made out of it. And then according to this guy,
they were arrested and booked and actually putting a jail
in Manchester.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Now he doesn't give any details about the jail or
like there's you know, he says, there's a police report,
but there's no proof of it, there's no source.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
He never posts. The police reporter shows it.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
So to me, my BS radar is going ding ding ding.
But it is a really creepy story and it could
be true.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
I guess, you know. I try to be as open
minded as I can.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Apparently, when the Black Eyed children went into the jail,
and this is from some source, he says if he
were to reveal, he would be in big trouble because
he's not supposed to know this information. But apparently in
the jail, people around their cell were getting sick, so
they had.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
To move them. As soon as they moved them out
of the jail, everyone was fine.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Now this goes along with the whole idea of the
Black Eyed Children being able to mess with usaide logically,
mess with you health wise and leave horrible effects on
someone after being around them.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
That's the whole story. Now he talked about the two
teams being moved from the jail to a different jail.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
According to this channel, a doctor has confirmed that they
looked in their eyes and could confirm that they're not
contacts or anything.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
They're actually naturally just black like that. But the doctor's
names never revealed.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Anyway, his story goes that when they were taking them
to a new location, suddenly something bad happened and the
black eyed children basically escaped. Now he has sound. I
don't know how he got it, but he has sound
which apparently shows what happened at the scene, and.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
The audio I'm about to play was recorded during the
transport by a dispatch radio.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Now, like I said, I don't know if it's true
or not, but it is really interesting to think about.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Now, there's a lot of different ideas that people have
about what the black eyed children could be if they
are real. There's a big theory online that maybe the
black eyed children are aliens, that maybe they are an
alien child hybrid mix that would explain the big black eyes.
People who report on like alien encounters and abductions and

(12:33):
stuff like.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
That normally report black big black, shiny.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Eyes, and I think they kind of would go along
with the whole robotic thing because if you remember in
my Men in Black video, we talked about how the
Men in Black when they come to people, it's almost
like they're robots and they can't function while on Earth.
They're just like taking on this form and trying to
seem as normal as they can to us. Because when
they go to these houses in all the stories, people
say that the greeting is.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Normally fine, high can we come in your house? We're lost,
and it sounds normal.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
As they start to ask them questions, they're slower to respond.
They're less human, like, they just seem odd. Maybe it's
because they can easily rehearse, you know, a greeting, but
if they are some type of alien or anything like that,
maybe they can't as easily respond to what someone is
asking them because they don't really understand our language or

(13:20):
like our behavior like things like that. Some people think
they're even a tool that are used by the Men
of Black because there are some encounters where they said
that the children retreat back to a car driven by
men in black suits, So it's you know, possible their
idea that people have is that maybe they're demons, that
maybe they're possessed, and that they're just on bad fortune

(13:40):
and people are targeted for reasons.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
They also say that normally.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
The black eyed children don't come to you unless you
know about them, But also read most of the stories
people have like never heard of them, so I can't
really figure that out exactly. And that's the problem with
these urban legends is there's many variations of everything. If
they are real, I think as long as you don't
let them into your house, you're like good to go.
Apparently they'll just leave or maybe they'll try again another time,
but they cannot come into your residence without giving them permission.

(14:08):
So if you ever see children, creepy children, or children
with black eyes who won't show you their eyes at first, don't.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Let them in.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Now this is this is funny because Shane Dawson, one
of my favorite YouTubers here who I've had the honor
to meet, and who I did have the honor to
meet earlier this summer and.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Got to do a collab on his channel, which was
like literally the coolest thing that ever happened to me.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
But he has this story from actually a few years ago,
he was home alone, he was a lot younger, and
someone came to the door wearing sunglasses selling magazines and
was like, hey, buy these magazines.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
But they didn't have.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Any proof that they were selling them, which actually happens
to me all the time, and people like, literally, I'll
be like, so, do you have proof of the sales?

Speaker 2 (14:47):
You have like a girl Scout cookie sheet? Do you
have like any order forms or anything to look at?
And they literally they'll just run. He thought it was
something like that though, and then later on he heard.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
About the black Eyed children and he said, this person
was actually really weird and just wanted to come into
his house and kept asking, and thank god Shane Dawson,
since we all love him, said no and he's fine.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
But years later, when he heard about.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
The black Eyed children, he thought, well, maybe that's.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
What I saw and they were just wearing sunglasses.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
So really odd story, and I truly believe him. I
don't think he's the type to just like make shit up.
Some people think that they're vampires and maybe their souls.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Are like long, like old souls and that's why they're
wearing these like old outfits.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
There's literally so many different theories about what they possibly
could be.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Are they a bad omen?

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Are they some type of spirit a child's spirit that
you know, had a bad death or like has been
cursed in some way. Is it just some type of
like ghost paranormal thing. I mean, who really knows? Right?
And my thing with it is like there's so many
people that are telling these stories, Like what are they
really getting.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Out of it?

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Unless they're making a YouTube channel trying to like make
money off of it, then I get why they would
use stories that maybe aren't true, but like random people
on Reddit and stuff, like why would they post these stories,
report stories and write into things?

Speaker 2 (16:01):
So I don't know.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
I mean, I would hate to say that everyone who's
like hav an counter with the.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Black Eyed Children is just making it up.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
However, it is interesting to me that this really got
started in the late nineties.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Before that, there wasn't much talk at all about black
Eyed Children. There was a guy.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Who ran like a scary email newsletter like weekly newsletter,
and that was the first time. That is the original
source of the black Eyed Children's story, this guy and
he would put out and he was like one of
his most popular works too.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
He put up multiple.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Stories about it. And his experiences and everything. And then
after he did that, the stories of the black eyed
children came in more and more and more. So it
makes me wonder is it something where like people just
want to get on in on it because it's a fun.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Story or is it real?

Speaker 1 (16:43):
I don't know, but all I'm gonna say is, if
any black eyed children come to your door, keep that
shit shut. I want to know what you think about
the black eyed children. I want to hear any stories
that you've had. If you have encountered a black eyed
child yourself, or have heard of anyone else you know,
or have any stories to share.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Please share them below because we love to hear that
kind of stuff.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
If you are excited for Freak Week twenty seventeen and
a new video every single night on my channel until Halloween, then.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Please give this video a thumbs up so I know
whether or not to do it next year. All Right, guys,
that's it for me, Stay spooky and I will see
you next time. By
