The race track Rumble Freddy waslying flat on his tummy in the
playroom right next to hisfavorite racetrack toy.
It had big loops, twisty bits,and even a little finish line
that went ding when somebodywon.
Today was a serious racing day.

(00:24):
Red zoomer.
A little red car that Freddy wasgiven for his birthday was lined
up at the starting line facingthe big yellow ramp.
Freddy squinted at it like areal racer.
All right, Zoomer, he whispered.
This is the big one beside him.
Sat bleo, the robot blinkingslowly.
He was Freddy's robot helper andvery good at race watching.

Freddy picked up his secondfavorite car.
He named that one green streakand popped in beside red zoomer
on the track.
This is it, the final race.
Freddy announced the winner getsa trophy and maybe a sandwich.
I do not require sandwiches.
Bleo said Seriously.

(01:09):
It's just pretend.
Bleo Freddy said smiling.
He pressed hard on the carlauncher to start the race.
Click both cars zoomed down theramp like rockets hitting the
turbo booster and flying throughthe huge loop to loop.
Red Zoomer took the lead,skimming the edge of the track,

and sipping past the dinosaurtoy Freddy had used as an
audience member.
Yes, Freddy shouted.
Just as Freddy leaned in toreset the cars for another lap,
the booster glowed, not just theusual flash.
It looked a bit strange.
Yellow and blue swirls spunaround it like somebody was

(01:52):
stirring paint.
Eh bleo.
Ble o's head turned affirmative.
Something very weird ishappening.
The track started making abuzzing sound and then suddenly
zap zoom, pop.
Freddy felt himself being suckedinto the racetrack.

(02:13):
Freddy blinked his eyes indisbelief.
He looked around.
He wasn't lying on the playroomfloor anymore.
He was sitting inside red Sumer,the little red race car.
He had race driver gloves on,and a real race driver helmet on
his head.

(02:33):
His hands were on the steeringwheel.
His feet dangled over the carpedals.
All the buttons on the cardashboard were lit up.
Ble O'S voice came through thespeaker.
Welcome to Driver Mode Freddy.
I am your co-driver.
What is happening?
Freddy asked You appear to havebeen transported into the toy

track.
Please get ready for the race.
Bleo said calmly.
Freddy looked around.
The playroom was still there,but it was huge now, or he was
tiny.
Probably both.
The race track was a real track.
Now complete with working lightsand traffic cones and flags that

(03:18):
waved.
There were hundreds of people inthe audience all cheering
excitedly for the race to begin.
Other race cars were lined upbeside him, there was a green
one.
One blue with stripes, one sleekand silver like it came from the
future.
Drivers ready called a voicefrom above on a giant speaker.

(03:40):
Freddy Squeaked.
I'm not ready.
3, 2, 1 continued the voice andding all the cars.
Shot forward Freddy Yelped andgrabbed the steering wheel just
in time.
Red zoomer blasted off the lineand took the first corner fast.
Too fast turned.

(04:00):
Bleo shouted.
I am turning.
Freddy shouted back.
They slid around the bend,skidded onto the straight bit,
and hit the turbo pad, BOSH thetrack, whizzed by flashing
lights, bridges made of buildingblocks, everything was fast and
totally bonkers coming up ChaosCurve.

(04:23):
Bleo said, good luck.
Freddie clenched the steeringwheel.
He turned it left then rightzooming between cones, ducking a
falling block, and just nippingthrough the curve safely.
Now they hit the big one, themega loop.
The loop his favorite part ofhis racetrack.

(04:44):
Hold on.
Freddy yelled the car, whooshedinto the loop, turning upside
down.
Freddy's cheeks, wobbled and histummy did a flip.
Then zoom.
They were out and in secondplace, one more car in front of
us.
BPO said green streak is ahead.

(05:05):
Let's do this.
Freddie Growled.
They zoomed through a tunnel litwith rainbow lights.
The finish line flashed in thedistance.
Final stretch.
Bleo said, activate turbo mode.
Bleo squeaked, Freddy redzoomer, blasted forward.
Green streak was just ahead.

(05:26):
Freddie leaned forward.
His eyes wide.
Come on.
He shouted.
The finish line was one.
Blink away and then Red zoomerzipped across the finish line.
First Confetti exploded allaround them.
Lights flashed.
Everyone in the audience cheeredand clapped.

(05:48):
Congratulations.
Champion Freddy and Red Zoomer.
Freddy let go of the wheel andcheered so hard.
He hiccuped.
We did it.
Freddy stood on the big stageand was presented with a shiny
golden trophy.
Just then, the track started tolook strange.
Its sparkled and started fadingaway, and then zoom Freddy

(06:12):
flopped onto a cushion in theplayroom floor.
The track was back to normalsize.
Red Zoomer sat next to him,silent and perfectly ordinary.
Bleo was back on the rugblinking as if nothing had
happened.
Freddy sat up slowly.
His heart was still thumping.

(06:33):
He looked at Red zoomer.
Then at Bleo, I think I won therace.
He said in shock.
Bleo gave a small beepconfirmed.
You sure did.
Freddy smiled already.
Excited to take on the loop.
The loop again tomorrow, theend.
