The runaway rainbow.
It was one of those days wheneverything felt a bit gray.
The sky was cloudy, the gardenwas soggy, and even the daisies
looked a little droopy.
Alice and Freddy sat in the shedsharing a banana sandwich and

She flicked it and sparklystring burst into the sky only
to tie itself into a bow andland on Molly's chocolate

Oops, Mindy mushed.
That was my sock tying spell.
Alice pointed, it's heading tothe playground.

Alice and Freddy running.

Sniffer and bouncing and thebroom.
Whale sisters zooming above inbroom tails of crumbs at the
playground, the rainbow wasgoing bananas.

It touched Molly hoveredoverhead.

It is having fun, but it'll soonget tired if it keeps going like

Everyone cheered.

Molly beamed a perfect place forrunaway colors.
Now I think we've earned a goodpicnic, mindy handed out jam
tarts from a large golden tinrainbow friendly snacks.

Sniffer gently licked therainbow and settled next to it

with a satisfied wolf.
Freddie asked, do you thinkit'll stay only until the next
rain?
Said Molly.
Rainbows always come and go, butnow it knows it's welcome Here
on the ground with us, the sunsuddenly peaked out from behind

Alice whispered just then.
Mum called from the back door.
Time to come in.
I've made rainbow cupcakes.
Alice giggled.
