So have you ever started watching a movie from the middle of the movie, and not knowing anything about the beginning? It can be a fun challenge right? Or maybe we're just completely lost because we don't really know how things came to be the way they are.
Well, did you know our story with God is kind of like that? I heard from a pastor once, who shared an amazing perspective on life, and he gave us this picture of coming into the movie late.
When you come in late you don't know what's going on, and why things are really the way they are. And this is actually what we experience today in life. We're born in this age, and we're coming into life late.
We might be looking at life, and wondering why there is so much corruption, tragedy and death in the world? We might be asking oureselves, why were we created? Why is life so difficult and we lack peace?
Thankfully, we have the Bible to help us understand. And so, we're gonna be in the book of Genesis, in the beginning, and we'll get insight to understanding what we're born into and how sin separates us from God.
