Anita est mariée à un homme jaloux. Pendant 15 ans, elle est coincée dans le cercle vicieux de la violence conjugale. Elle explique que dans sa culture, c’est très mal vu de se séparer. Elle reste donc auprès de son mari jusqu’au jour où il passe tout près de la tuer en l’aspergeant d’acide. Anita raconte comment elle apprend à vivre avec les marques laissées sur son visage par cette violente attaque.
