Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, listeners. I cannot thank you enough for stopping by
for another episode of the Lawnmower Versus sports Car podcast.
I was walking through my local home and gardens store
and I walked past the lawnmowers and I thought to myself,
my goodness, lawnmowers are expensive. And then I got to

(00:21):
the section of the really expensive ones, and I thought
to myself, you know, I could probably go by a
albeit used and slightly beat up, but definitely a sports
car for that kind of money, And sure enough, you can.
What I was most astonished to find out is just

(00:45):
how expensive some lawnmowers are. As it turns out, you
can buy really nice sports cars. This episode is a
continuation of last week's episode, where we ran down a
list of some of the most expensive lawnmowers. They're pretty nice.

(01:06):
I'm not gonna lie. If you didn't catch that episode,
you're gonna want to go back and check it out
because you missed a lot. And for the rest of us,
we're going forward because if you're not gonna blow a
ridiculous amount of money on a ridiculous lawnmower, you might

(01:31):
as well buy a sports car. This episode is dedicated
to the most expensive sports cars. Folks, we are sparing
no cost here. Money is no object for our imaginations today.

(01:55):
The Rolls Royce Le Rose Nor Drop Tail. We'll only
set you back thirty million dollars. That's starting cost. But

(02:17):
it features a six point seven five liter twin turbo
V twelve engine with around six hundred horse power. It
will get you to sixty miles per hour and four
point eight seconds. Folks, You'll get there. It has a

(02:42):
top speed of only one hundred and fifty five miles
per hour. However, that is electronically limited. Wink wink, there
is one of them. This model was so expensive because

(03:05):
it was commissioned for a private client. It is a
one of a kind, completely unique Rolls Royce. This is
luxury meets hypercar, with more focus on the luxury than speed,
but it still packs a V twelve. It has a

(03:30):
hand crafted carbon fiber body, the most complex carbon fiber
body work Rolls Royce as ever created. It's got a
removable luxury watch that's built into the dashboard, and it
features an ultra rare black sycamore wood interior with bespoke leather.

(03:58):
Now you're talking next on the Litis coming in at
just eighteen point seven million. What a steal. The Bougotti
La Vautier no Er with an eight point zero leader
quad turbo W sixteen engine with over fourteen hundred horse power.

(04:22):
It'll get you to sixty miles per hour in two
point four seconds. I'm pretty sure longer. It took me
longer to say two point four seconds. This Bougotti has
a top speed of two hundred and sixty one miles
per hour. There is one. This is a tribute to

(04:51):
the lost Bugatti Type fifty seven. It's inspired by one
of the rarest pre war Bougottis. It has a hand
crafted carbon fiber body with an exposed gloss carbon finish.
Six exhaust pipes give it a unique design that enhances

(05:15):
performance and sound. It has gold plated engine components. Why
not for that extra touch of extravagance if neither of
those suit your fancy, and if neither of those suits

(05:38):
your fancy. Next on the list from Mercedes, only seventeen
point five million dollars the paginea Zonda h P Barjetta
as a seven point three liter naturally aspirated V twelve
engine with seven hundred and eighty nine horsepower it'll get

(06:06):
you to sixty miles per hour and three point one seconds,
with a top speed of two hundred and twenty miles
per hour. Mercedes has made three of these. They are
ultra limited production, making it one of the rarest beginius ever.

(06:30):
It has a retro futuristic open top design, one of
the most radical designs. It has a lightweight carbon titanium
construction that combines aerospace materials for maximum strength and minimum weight.

(06:53):
It has custom blue leather and exposed carbon interior, a
signature of Heratio Pagina's artistic approach. Next on the list
the Bugatti Sintodiici add nine million dollars. This Bugatti has

(07:15):
an eight point zero leader quad turbo engine with over
sixteen hundred horse power. It will reach sixty miles per
hour in just two point four seconds and as a
top speed of two hundred and thirty six miles per hour.
They've only made ten of them. This celebrates the Bugatti

(07:39):
EB one ten, a modern homage to the legendary nineteen
nineties Bugatti. It's got more power than a Cheron one
hundred horse power more exactly, and features the most aggressive
body work of any modern Bugatti. For extreme aero dynamics.

(08:05):
The Mercedes A m G one with a sticker price
of two point seven million dollars. It features a one
point six liter hybrid turbocharged V six F one engine.
With its just over one thousand horse power, it will
get you to sixty miles per hour and just two

(08:25):
point six seconds with a top speed of two hundred
and nineteen miles per hour. Mercedes has only made two
hundred and seventy five of these. The Mercedes A m
G one features a real Formula one engine, the closest
thing to an F one car on the road. Its

(08:45):
hybrid tech from Mercedes a m G one's F one
team features four electronic motors for insane acceleration. At just
three million, the Aston Martin Valkyrie has a six point
five leader naturally aspirted V twelve Causworth engine with a

(09:07):
little over one thousand horse powers. It'll get you to
sixty and two point five seconds with the top speed
of two hundred and fifty miles per hour. Aston Martinin
has only made one hundred and fifty of these. They
were designed by Formula one engineer Adriannui. The closest thing

(09:28):
to an F one car for the street with aerodynamics
over everything. Inspired by this open wheel bodywork for max downforce.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie has a minimist interior, no frills,
just pure race car energy. And lastly, the McLaren speed

(09:50):
Tail at two point two million with a four point
zero leterer twin turbo hybrid V eight with just over
one thousand horse power, it will reach sixty miles per
hour in just two point nine seconds, with a top
speed of two hundred and fifty miles per hour. There
have only been one hundred and six of these made.

(10:11):
It's a three seater layout like the mc clarene F one.
The driver sits in the middle. It has extreme arrow dynamics.
It's the longest and most streamlined mc claren ever built.
It has a hybrid power train for efficiency and speed
that combines electric and gas power. Folks, Unfortunately, that's all

(10:32):
the time that we've got for today's episode of the
Lawnmower Versus sports Car. I can't thank you enough for
listening in until next time.
