Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to Let Me Pull your Coat, the
unfiltered world of Master Silk.
Before we get rolling, let meremind you that our blog is
where the family eats first.
That's where the behind thescenes drops the Easter eggs and
the blogs where we answerquestions that we feel can't

(00:20):
wait for the next podcast drop.
So if you haven't already, headover to LetMePullYourCoatcom
and lock into the blog sectionNow.
This week the questions cameheavy.
We're talking jealousy andfamilies cutting people out of
your life, loyalty between hosts, love gone sour and even some

(00:42):
straight up business game.
So let's not waste any time.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Question for Chyna from Haruto in Osaka, japan.
Chyna, is everything you sayabout Silk true or are you just
saying it because you co-hosthis podcast?
Also, would he treat me, or any304 the same as he's treated
you?
Haruto?
Let me keep it real.
If anything, I watered it down.

(01:06):
Everything I say about Silk isrooted in truth and I worked
under him back in Kansas City.
He didn't just put money in myhand, he put knowledge in my
head.
He invested in me, taught me toleave the streets behind, and
now I own property and stocks.
That's not just talk, that'sreality.
You ask would he treat you?

(01:26):
The same Depends on you.
If you're loyal, if you listen,if you're hungry for growth,
then yes.
But if you come half-steppinglooking for handouts or playing
games, silk will drop you likethird period French.
There's really only one way tofind out Reach out to him and

(01:47):
see what happens.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Question for Silk from Amira in Cairo, Egypt.
What is the best way to erasethe memory of someone out of
your life and your dailyexistence?
Amira, let me give it to youstraight there is no erasing the
memory of someone that youshared your life with.
The memory will live with youalways.

(02:09):
The real key is replacing andcreating new memories.
I remember a woman I thought I'ddie without.
I was so in love, I was sickwhen it ended.
I tried the drinking, thedistractions, the denial.
None of that worked.
What worked was rebuilding, buying property, starting

(02:31):
ventures, investing in myself.
Every dollar I stacked was abrick wall between her and my
piece.
As for the home we shared, Iremodeled the entire joint.
I had walls knocked out.
I replaced cabinets.
I even replaced the toilets.
I replaced furniture and had anenclosed patio.

(02:52):
I even bought a new vehicle.
I ensured that nothing in thathouse or around me on a daily
basis would ever remind me ofher.
You see a mirror.
You can't erase people.
You can only bury them undernew achievements.
You bury them under a lightthey can't touch and have no
access to.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Question for China.
From Gabriela in Sao Paulo,brazil.
If I were to contact MasterSilk, do you think he would take
me under his wing the way hehas you?
Gabriella, silk doesn't handout wings.
He hands out the tools you need.
He gave me the game, but Ibuilt my own house.
If you want Silk to guide you, show him you'll actually use the

(03:37):
blueprint.
He doesn't waste time ontalkers.
Oh, gabriella, me and mywifeies Rochelle, darlene,
melissa and countless morepeople are living proof of that.
If you show up ready, silk willshow up even stronger.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Question for Silk from Victor in Belgrade, serbia.
Silk, have you ever had to dealwith a jealous or envious
relative whose only purpose wasto crap all over your ideas and
ambitions?
If so, what did you do, victor?
Oh yeah, I had relatives whocouldn't wait to tell me what I

(04:16):
couldn't do, from starting astrip club to running escort
services to buying stocks.
Somebody in my bloodline alwayshad poison to spit.
And you know what I did?
I shut the door.
I don't let family have moreaccess than strangers if they
can't respect me.
The streets taught me somethingearly Sometimes strangers will

(04:39):
push you further than your ownkin.
I had to learn that blood don'talways mean loyalty.
Family can share DNA and stillnot wanna see you shy.
I've never asked any of myblood family for anything.
They've lived with me, ate offof me and I've even loaned them
money just to have them talkabout me to outsiders while they

(05:02):
laid their heads on pillows inthe house for free.
My advice to you Love them froma distance.
Don't let them pull up a chairat your table if all they bring
is envy and mistrust.
Question for Silk from Elias inAthens, greece.
Silk, why is it that afteryou've made love to a woman real

(05:22):
good constantly.
She eventually loses interestin you and begins to cheat,
elias, because sex alone won'thold a woman.
When I was younger, I gavewomen everything in bed Multiple
orgasms, hours, sweat, creativity and I still watch

(05:43):
them walk away.
Why?
Because women need stimulationoutside the sheets.
You can blow her mind atmidnight, but if she feels
ignored at noon, another manwill slide in.
My grandfather told me that ifa woman honors you by going to
bed with you, it's your job tomake her look forward to doing

(06:03):
it again.
Keep in mind I'm talking abouteveryday, regular non-304s.
My advice is to stop thinkingsex is the glue.
It's the icing.
The cake is conversation, consistency and respect.
Without that, the bedroom isjust exercise.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Question for Chyna from Hugo in Lisbon, portugal.
Chyna, what's the dumbestfinancial mistake you ever made,
hugo?
My first mistake was blowingmoney on labels like Gucci,
prada, red Bottoms.
I thought looking rich meant Iwas rich.
Silk checked me hard.

(06:45):
He told me a closet full ofheels won't feed you when the
rents due.
That shit hit me hard.
Since then, I've flipped myspending into property and
stocks.
My dumbest mistakes became mysharpest lessons.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Question for Silk from Fatima in Casablanca,
morocco, silk.
What's the smartest investmentyou've ever made?
Fatima, the strip club I boughtin the 90s, was my smartest
investment.
Not because of the money, though it made plenty, but
because it gave me leverage.
Plenty, but because it gave meleverage.
I met lawyers, politicians, entertainers, judges and police

(07:34):
chiefs, all under dim lightswith whiskey in hand.
That club was my boardroom.
Smart investments aren't alwaysabout stock tips.
They're about doors they openwith the right connections and
the people you know.
Now, before we wrap up, here'sthis week's spotlight.
It goes to a voice out ofMemphis, tennessee, anthony Q.
I first peeped him through asong he has called Fake Shit.
That track hit me right when Ineeded it most.

(07:56):
Then I pulled him up on YouTubeand every track was fire.
I call his music the soundtrackto my life.
I've been blowing him up toeverybody.
I know His music is real, it'sraw and it's personal.
Let me tell you his joint toBarbecue.
That should be the new nationalanthem for cookouts everywhere,

(08:19):
right alongside of May'sfeaturing Frankie Beverly.
Big respect and salute toAnthony Q.
Keep making music that speaksto real people living real lives
.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Use your cult pull of the week.
Stop letting the wrong peopletake up space in your life and
your homes Friends, lovers, evenfamily.
If they don't push you forward, they're pulling you back.
Loyalty, respect and visionthat's the currency that pays
forever.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
