Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello listeners, It's time once again for another episode of
the Alternative Living podcast show dedicated to those the march
of their own beat, break the norm, and just aren't
happy with the status quo. We got into a topic
last week, It's too big. First single episode you should
be aware of this week is a continuation. However, it's

(00:22):
not mandatory that you catch last week's episode. We got
into some luxurious tiny homes. As they say, dynamite comes
in small packages and the word tiny don't mean nothing.
We're going to start today off with the Nestron Cube two.

(00:45):
At first glance, the Nestron Cube two looks like it
belongs in the Martian colony. A white, glossy curved shell
houses a fully furnished AI integrated livings that seems to
defides three hundred square foot size. Built in Singapore and

(01:07):
shipped globally, this home comes ready made with underfloor heating,
built in furniture, led mood lighting, and voice controlled systems
for lights, music and climate. It even includes a small
smart garden or growing herbs indoors. It's perfect for urban backyards,

(01:31):
eco resorts or futuristic villages. The Cube two is designed
for people who want a high tech, low hassle beautiful
space without lifting a hammer. Next up the Drift House,
a Malibu Airbnb floating above the Pacific Cliffs of Malibu,

(01:56):
is the Drift House, perhaps the most stunning luxury timing
home available to rent. With a clean, modern design, massive
sliding glass doors, and a wrap around deck, it delivers
an ocean front lifestyle compressed into a jewelry box. Inside

(02:17):
as a Queen Murphy bed, an open plan chef's kitchen,
and a bathroom with brass fixtures, and a rainfall shower. Outside,
a private hot tub steams as waves crash below. At night,
the lights of California Coast shimmer beyond your wine glass.

(02:38):
More than just to stay, the Drift House offers a
glimpse into what life could be like if you stripped
away everything except luxury, location and light. Next wedge By,
a wheelhouse tucked into resort communities across the American West.

(03:00):
The wedge By Wheelhouse looks like a ski lodge dream
distilled into a modern tiny home with a bold slanted roof, line,
tongue in groove cedar siding, and an enormous glass front
that opens to a spacious deck. It blends rustic comfort
with architectural flare. Inside, the wedge doesn't compromise. It boasts

(03:27):
a full living room with leather furniture, exposed timber beams,
a fireplace, and a king sized bedroom behind a sliding
barn door. The bathroom is designed like a spa retreat,
rainfall shower, stone tiling and high end fixtures. Though only
four hundred square feet, the wedges layout makes it feel

(03:51):
open and indulgent. How about the ood mirror House. If
James Bond had a honey home, it might be the
ood House. Built in Estonia. This sleek, cube shaped microhome
is entirely wrapped in mirrored glass, blending invisibly into forests,

(04:15):
mountains or deserts. It reflects the landscape, changing color and
mood depending on the hour over season. A step inside
and it's like entering a luxury hotel suite, plush king
sized bed, heated floors, designer lighting, and an all glass

(04:36):
bathroom with views of the wilderness, yet protected by one
way glass for total privacy. Some models include saunas, outdoor
plunge pools, and remote controlled skylights. The ood House isn't
just a home, It's an immersive design experience it. It

(05:00):
doesn't just set in nature, it vanishes in it. Next
the cocoon tree pod floating above forest floor or suspended
between mountain cliffs. The cocoon tree pod looks like something
out of a sci fi novel or in eleven City.

(05:21):
This spherical, tinted microhome hangs from trees using tension cables,
turning its luxurious interior into a suspended sanctuary, though only
about ten feet in diameter. Inside you'll find a circular
mattress covered in high thread count linens, integrated led lights,

(05:43):
and even climate control. These pods are often installed and
echo retreats and private resorts in Asia. In Europe. The
real luxury the feeling of gently rocking in a tree
canopy while the wind whispers outside and stars shimmer above

(06:03):
through the skylight. Next up the floating seahorse villas in Dubai.
Dubai never does anything halfway, and its luxury tiny home
innovations is no exception. The floating seahorse villas are underwater
and overwater homes moored off the coast of Dubai's artificial archipelago,

(06:28):
the World Islands. Each tiny villa spans three levels, but
their footprint and space efficiency make them cousins to the
tiny house movement, just on steroids. The upper deck has
a hot tub bar and sunbed lounge. The main level
is a designer living room and kitchen with panoramic sea views.

(06:52):
The most breathtaking level the submerge underwater bedroom with floor
to ceiling windows looking into a coral garden where sea
horses drift through the waves. These homes are luxury tourism
at its boldest, private floating villas for millionaires who won

(07:13):
a little piece of Atlas. Next up the Aurora by
zero Squared, Based in Canada. The Aurora by Zero Squared
is built for cold climates and high expectations, with dual
slide outs that expand the interior to a remarkable three

(07:34):
hundred and seventy four square feet. It offers more living
space than most apartments in Manhattan, but on wheels. You'll
find under floor heating, touch panel smart controls, a hidden
marsher dryer, and a bathroom that rivals high end condos.
The living area features a real sectional sofa, a drop

(07:58):
down projector screen in the kitchen island big enough to entertain.
The insulation is raided for Canadian winters, making this a
tiny home you could live in full time, even in
the Yukon. What makes it luxurious isn't just a space,

(08:19):
it's the sense of a permanence in precision, engineered to
withstand harsh climates while enveloping you in comfort. What about
the minim House. The Menim House might be the most
elegant example of a minimalist living ever designed. Originating in Washington,

(08:41):
d c. And later expanded into prefab units, its esthetics clean, calm,
and obsessively intentional. At only two hundred and sixty four
square feet, it uses smart design to create a spacious
no loft, but to pull out bed that doubles as

(09:01):
a couch, a projector that replaces a bulky TV, and
a seamless kitchen hidden behind sliding panels. The walnut flooring,
custom cabmetry and claristory windows create a feeling of quiet elegance.
Solar panels and a rain water capture system allowed to

(09:23):
operate entirely off grid. Minim is luxury for the introvert,
the contemplative, and design obsessive. It's the Monk's Temple reimagined
for the twenty first century. Next up, the Casita micro home.
Originally launched in Austin, Texas, The Cosita is a tech

(09:46):
afford luxury pod that looks like a shipping container, reimagined
by an Apple designer. At only three hundred and seventy
four square feet, it packs an incredible amount of function
into a legal munam shell inside. Casita homes feature modular shelving,
Bluetooth liding, a slide out bedpod, and a fully integrated

(10:11):
smart home system, each engineered with the urban dweller in mind.
Designed to be stacked like lego bricks in multi unit
vertical communities, Cossita isn't about rustic charm. It's about urban luxury,
automation and stylish, sustainable city living in a world where

(10:33):
space is limited, but taste isn't. Unfortunately, that's all the
time we've got for today's episode of the Alternative Living podcast.
It's a show dedicated to breaking the norms, but more importantly,
you are listeners, and I can't thank you enough for
stopping by for another episode. Until next time,
