People are lazy. We need tovalue work more or the idea of as
a culture we focus way toomuch on work, we should be working
less anti work. You know, bothof those, one is a reaction to the
other and both of them arebased on the construct of capitalism
and the very distortedorientation that we have as a society
to work right now. And so Iwant to invite us to be aware of
(00:24):
the effect that ourprogramming and these societal constructs
and a very mind oriented, imbalanced relationship to what work
actually is on a physicallevel. The expenditure of energy
towards production orsustenance or maintenance of something
on the planet, whether that'sart, whether that's a trade, you
(00:48):
know, whatever it is, theexpenditure of energy is neutral
and our reactive orientationsto it make sense right now, but also
are a product of a construct.

(05:45):
The first aura type we'regoing to take a look at closely is
the generator. So within thissection on the generator, we're going
to look at a bunch of things, some of which are named on this slide,
including the mechanics of thedefined sacral center. And then how
those defined sacral mechanicscolor the experience of the generator
through their aura open andenveloping their strategy of responding.
(06:09):
The themes specifically,we'll. We'll take a look at what
is satisfaction, what createssatisfaction in the generator form,
as well as frustration. Thenot self theme. We'll go over what
I consider the vehicle'sfundamental prerogative of the generator,
which is to carry life force. And then after all of that, as well
(06:31):
as a bit woven throughout,we'll look at some miscellaneous
generator stuff. Justrevisiting the general bird's eye
view overview of the generatortype. And now that we have gone over
what it means to have adefined sacral center, each of these
facts here, mirror image, eachof these bullet points here are going
(06:55):
to have. They're going to havemore meaning, they're going to make
more sense based on sacralcenter mechanics. And so most of
this video is really indigging into each of these bullet
points a bit more. So again, generators, the aura type for the
generator is all based onhaving a defined sacral center. When
you hear people say sacralbeings or sacral beings, we're referring
(07:17):
to generators, because thatdefinition in the sacral center is
what determines that someonehas the aura type of generator. And
this is about 70% of thepopulation. And based on a different
part of the mechanic, which isthe motor to the throat, about half
of that 70% will be puregenerators, and about half will be
manifesting generators. Bothof the variations of generator types
(07:42):
have an open and envelopingaura. Experiment with the strategy
of waiting to respond or beingin response. Experience themes of
satisfaction and frustration. And of these 70% of the population
of these generators, theauthority that's available is either
emotional authority, andthat's gonna be if the person has
(08:04):
solar plexus definition inaddition to sacral definition or
sacral authority if it's anundefined solar plexus with a defined
sacral. Before we get into themechanics of the generator orotype,
I want to talk about languagefor a moment. I want to acknowledge
that our programming, ourconditioning, affects our relationship
(08:28):
to words and affects the waythat we understand words. Words have
baggage, and that baggage isrooted very much so in the mental
plane and the mind'sdistortion via our conditioning.
And there's some particularwords that in this moment in time,
I see tend to incite strongreactions from one end of the binary
(08:49):
or the other. And the, thewords that I want to orient to specific
to going over generatormechanics and that I want to invite
us all to have a personaldiscernment around how we orient
these words and concepts, ourwork and labor, because of where
(09:10):
we are in like the humanevolutionary story, the particular
chapter of it that we're onright now because of our history
with work and labor andbecause of the present reality of
very exploitative systems inregards to work and labor. The inherently
neutral concepts of energyexpenditure using our energy putting
(09:34):
in work and labor have allsorts of like baggage, essentially
all sorts of narrativessurrounding them that on a mechanical
level, as we'll look at todaythrough the mechanics of the generator
don't actually have anythingto do with, with good or bad. Right.
They're just what ishappening. So for instance, on one
(09:57):
end of the binary you havelike that, I think it was a Kardashian
who said nobody wants to workanymore. The sort of perspective
that today's workforce islazy, right? The sort of perspective
that millennials and Gen Z arelazy don't are entitled. Right. There's
that kind of narrative on oneend of the binary that would the
(10:19):
bootstraps end of the binary. And then on the other end of the
binary there's the sentimentof I don't have a dream job, I don't
dream of labor. That sentimentthat I certainly have agreed with
myself and reposted many atimes. But both of these sentiments,
the idea of people are lazy,we need to value work more or the
(10:41):
idea of as a culture we focusway too much on work, we should be
working less anti work. Youknow, both of those, one is a reaction
to the other other. And bothof them are based on the construct
of capitalism and the verydistorted orientation that we have
as a society to work rightnow. And so I want to invite us to
be aware of the effect thatour programming and these societal
(11:07):
constructs and a very mindoriented imbalanced relationship
to what work actually is on aphysical level. The expenditure of
energy towards production orsustenance or maintenance of something
on the planet, whether that'sart, whether that's a trade, you
know, whatever it is, theexpenditure of energy is neutral
(11:30):
and our reactive orientationsto it make sense right now, but also
are a product of a construct. And so I want to specify that when
we talk about these words Workand labor in the context of human
design, and specifically, whenwe're referring to generators being
the aura type, that is theworkforce, we are not referring to
the exploitative nature of thehomogenized world. Homogenized world's
(11:53):
orientation towards work. That's not what we're talking about.
That version of work is alwaysgoing to bring frustration. The version
of work that exploitsgenerators and the other types to
use our life force or whateverit is, our awareness and our. Our
frequency brings, for thepurposes of someone else's vision
(12:17):
to an extent that requires usto compromise the knowing of our
own body and our own autonomy. That's always going to result in
frustration. And that islargely where we are at this moment
in time. But doing away withwork in general is not the answer.
That's reactive. That is justan example of us reprogramming, becoming
(12:38):
reconditioned in anotherdirection in a reactionary way to
a form of conditioning that weseek to escape. An aversion to work,
an aversion to satisfyingenergy expenditure is also going
to bring frustration to thegenerator. An aversion to work and
aversion to releasing lifeforce energy. Expending life force
(13:01):
energy in the ways that feelsatisfying will dull and diminish
the flow of life force on theplanet. So I want to just. I wanted
to just poke around a littlebit, set that tone and invite everybody
to notice, especiallygenerators, if they're tense. As
you're listening through thegenerator lecture here, if you notice
moments where in your bodythere's a resistance to the. This
(13:24):
idea of you being a part ofthe workforce, of your aura type,
being about carrying the lifeforce that is the doers and the builders
and the creators of life onthe planet. Just notice where that's
coming from. Is it coming frompotentially a voice of not self in
an undefined center? Is thereactually dissonance with how I'm
(13:47):
talking about things or howhuman design orients to generators
and work? I don't have theanswers for you, but I want to. Want
to just invite you to exercisesome awareness and some curiosity
and consider the effect thatyour programming has on your relationship
to certain words such as workand labor. Because outside of capitalism,
(14:07):
there is still energyexpenditure, right? There is still
work and labor. Human designcan help us to experience healthier
relationships to work, healthier relationships to labor,
healthier relationships to ourcapacity for doing and creating and
productivity so that we canenvision ways, both individually
and collectively, of utilizingour energy, of being productive,
(14:30):
of working and laboring thataren't limited to the picture of
them that capitalism haspainted for us. Many people who are
on a deconditioning path, ahealing path, a spiritually aware
path, have at one point or arecurrently experiencing harm and trauma
in association with work andproductivity culture. Human design,
(14:51):
in my opinion and in myexperience, offers us a clear path
to healing our relationship asindividuals with work outside of
these constructs that harm us,that have harmed us individually
and as a society. Generatorsare designed to work for the sake
of their satisfaction. Andanything more or less than that is
(15:11):
mechanically incorrect for thegenerator will bring frustration,
will interfere with thegenerator body's ability to regenerate
energy, and will again dulland diminish and add a lot of frustration
to the life force on theplanet. And I want to emphasize anything
(15:32):
more or less than that, right?Generators are designed to work for
the sake of theirsatisfaction. Productivity culture,
exploitative labor systems runon generators, pushing themselves
beyond what satisfies them, what is a satisfying use of their
energy, and also a to a sortof reactionary swing away from work
(15:58):
towards some homogenizedversion of rest is also going to
be mechanically incorrect forgenerators for all people. But in,
in this case, specifically forgenerators, generators trying to
force themselves to rest mightresult in frustration. Generators
(16:18):
are here to actually burnthrough their energy, but only in
ways that feel satisfying. Andso, you know, I'm not a generator,
I'm speaking of thisconceptually I am undefined in the
sacral center. So I have atthis point had quite a bit of aware
experience amplifyingdifferent sacrals and feeling into
their own experience ofsatisfaction versus frustration.
(16:41):
I'm bringing up, you know, I'mnot a generator because I want to
always encourage you andespecially generators in this situation
to feel into this foryourself. You know, even just as
you're listening, trust what'scoming up in your body and then experiment.
Human design is an experiment. So experiment with if you're feeling
(17:02):
frustration, if you're feelingburnt out, do you actually need to
completely rest until you feelrecovered and. Or is there an extent
to which there's sacral energythat's wanting to be used in a direction
that you are not, you haven'thad the outlet for? Right. So for
generators, it's not just a.It is, there is an element of regenerating
(17:24):
and resting. A hundred percentrest is absolutely a part of the
generator experience. But agenerator in alignment, a generator
in their correct mechanicalfunction, has new energy every day
that does need to be used. Soit's not about again, it's not about
this reactive swing from workto not work, from fully work to fully
(17:45):
rest. As a collective, we areliterally healing right now from
centuries of harm and violenceinitiated by manifestors of the old
world. Evolving might be amore apt word than healing for how
I'm starting to learn torelate to the unrolling of the program.
And it's no choice ness. Theprogram in human design is the transits.
So it's just what's happening. It's just what's happening in the
(18:08):
human experience. And I'mbringing this up, you know, RA talked
about it a lot in terms ofslavery. As an example, generators.
You know, I just spent a fewminutes talking about in capitalism,
in productivity culture, inthese exploitative labor systems,
generators, life force hasbeen exploited. Capitalism is the
(18:31):
form it has most recentlytaken, right? There are many different
iterations throughout ourhistory of the workforce, of the
life force of the majority ofthe planet has been capitalized on,
has been enslaved, has beenexploited, has been controlled by
(18:52):
someone with the power. Andwhat RA often talked about was how
manifesters are the only typethat cannot be controlled. Manifestors
are the only type that moves. The Maya manifestors are mechanically
the predators. Now,manifestors, we're going to talk
about this in a much morenuanced and loving and considering
(19:13):
and compassionate for themanifestor aura type way when we
talk about manifestors. Butwhether you look at this as like
historical fact or just astory to kind of explore archetypally,
consider that at this momentin time there's a lot of baggage.
Again, there's a lot of traumastored in our bodies, in our collective,
(19:35):
as a memory around generatorsbeing exploited by manifestors. And
so I bring that up to say thatgenerators, I encourage you to be
gentle with yourself if and asyou do notice discomfort, fear or
resentment showing up when Italk about or when you otherwise
hear in your human designstudies about the work related function
of your aura type. Andmanifestors, I encourage you to be
(19:59):
gentle with yourself and withothers when you experience your closed
and repelling aura beingperceived as a threat by others.
There's history here, there'shistory beyond my aura and your aura.
There's generations andcenturies of history of this dynamic,
of the closed aura and theexploitation of the life force within
(20:21):
generators and projectors andreflectors. You're not an energy
type, but you are here toguide energy on the planet. So your
awareness in watching the notself mind based reactions to the
above dynamic is a part of theevolution, a necessary part of how
we Evolve towardsinterdependence. And that is an evolution
(20:43):
in process. Right now, centering again around generators.
Generators. It really comesdown to you honoring your fixed life
force and the yes or no thatyour fixed life force provides through
sacral response. Lastly, andmost importantly, Trust your body's
ability to resonate, filter, regulate, place, and integrate or
(21:03):
not all of this information inits own way, in your body's own time,
in your body's own authority. As I've mentioned many times, at
this point, the mechanics forthe generator as an aura type are
100% based on the mechanics ofthe sacral center. So, a quick review
of the sacral center. Thesacral center is the most powerful
(21:25):
motor center in the body. Itis the source of vitality, creative
life force, and sexual energy. It is the only motor center that
provides consistent andunconditional fuel which makes one
available for life. Putsimply, the sacral is the body's
power source. And when wefirst went over the sacral, I did
a description of the definedsacral experience and then the undefined
(21:47):
sacral experience. We'retalking about generators here. The
generator type always has adefined sacral center. So reviewing
those basic mechanics, thebasic experience of having a defined
sacral center. Having adefined sacral center makes you a
generator. This includesmanifesting generators. It gives
you access to consistent lifeforce energy in your body that wishes
(22:09):
to. That organically wants tobe expended in ways that feel good
to you. The defined sacralgives you the experience of being
sort of revved up and ready togo. I probably used the metaphor
in the earlier sacral video ofbeing like a horse in a stall, waiting
for the gun to go off. That'sthe way I first. That's an example
or a metaphor that my teacherAmy used when I was first learning
(22:31):
about the sacral that alwaysstuck with me. Waiting is active
for the generator. It's not apunishment. It's a natural part of
the defined sacral process.Because it's in the waiting that
the availability is there. Orin the horse's case, the gunshot
to go off to go. It's anactive waiting. Having a defined
sacral means your body is ableto give you the cues that you have
(22:54):
energy where that energy wantsto be directed. And when that energy
has been expended and the workor the labor or the productivity
or the output of energy is nowcomplete. When the defined sacral
is used in satisfying ways, the energy gets regenerated. And
this is the crux of thefunction of the generator type. And
(23:17):
the experience of life forcewithin the generator body. Generators
sacral beings are designed tobe available to respond to life.
And your sacral either fuelsthe response or not. The generator
open and enveloping aura pullslife towards the generator body.
For that sacral to respond toit, it's magnetic. The generator
(23:38):
does not have to push or forceonly to respond. This open and enveloping
aura, this magnetic aura, howdoes this work? I talked about this
when we were talking aboutlife force in the previous video.
There's this engine, thispowerful motor, this center of energy
at the sacral center, and thatenergy emanates all throughout the
(24:01):
form, all throughout the aura, into the area outside of the generator,
outside of their aura, totouch everything around it, pulling
things into it. Energyemanates from the powerful sacral
motor into and around thebioenergetic field, AKA the aura
of the generator, wrappingitself around that which it encounters.
The generator aura is designedto be penetrated by life, by the
(24:25):
other. That's part of thisenveloping. It is penetrated and
it envelops. And that givesthe opportunity to. For the sacral
center to touch things, torespond to them or not. The aura
of the generator energeticallytouches what it encounters and the
body responds or not. Thegenerator is designed to be available
for what the aura pulls in.The generator body exists in a natural
(24:49):
flow of waiting and response. So again, waiting isn't something
that is forced on thegenerator. It's the generator's natural
state. I guess I don't want tosay waiting is the natural state,
because response is thenatural state. But response and waiting
are one. And the, thegenerator strategy wait to respond.
So you know, when youunderstand sacral mechanics, you
(25:12):
understand that you. Youautomatically, inherently understand
satisfaction, frustration. Theopen enveloping aura and waiting
to respond, it's allconnected. So we're going to be saying
a lot of the same things oneach of these slides to understand
and to integrate and explorethese different layers of the generator
experience, because they'reall rooted in the mechanics of the
(25:32):
sacral. So we're reallytalking about the same thing From
a few different angles. Ineach of those angles being a teaching
tool to help the generatorbody, to help the generator awareness
watch what its generator bodyalready organically does. So the
generator strategy, wait torespond. Sometimes you'll hear people
just say respond. I often liketo use the language be in response,
(25:55):
because wait is another wordthat maybe has some baggage. And
again, because I see responseas just being the generator's natural
state, the generator doesn'thave to like force waiting for. Usually
actually what happens is thegenerator needs to like just observe
the mind that's telling thegenerator to initiate, to go, to
push. Because of thediscomfort of pressure in the body
(26:18):
that the not self mind theninternalizes as a problem that it
needs to escape from. Thattakes the generator out of their
natural state of waiting andresponse of that dance of response.
So there's something just tothe language be in response that
I like. It just feels easierto me. This is the natural way of
(26:39):
your body waiting to respond, responding being in response. For
generators, this is thenatural way of the body. Generators
inhabit a vehicle that isbuilt to respond. So generators wait
to respond, not becauseinitiating is impossible, but because
initiating and creating inresponse is what the generator energy
naturally wants to do.Initiation out of response happens
(27:03):
against the grain. Forgenerators, response offers ease
and flow. Waiting keeps thegenerator available for that which
is for them, for that whichtheir sacral actually wants to respond
to, and will experiencesatisfaction through expending energy
towards. One way to thinkabout this is that for generators,
initiating happens accordingto the mind's timeline and response
(27:27):
happens according to thebody's. When a generator initiates
out of response, it's becausethe mind, the mental narrative through
the stories of the undefinedcenters and the conditioning there
is pressuring the generatorbody to move against the grain. But
when the awareness seeps in toallow the generator to permiss the
(27:51):
generator to put a bit ofspace between those pressures and
those voices to understandthat that's a natural part of their
movie and not something thatthey need to run from or fight or
force in regards to, then thegenerator can relax and response
happens according to thebody's timeline. Response waiting
to respond is not aboutrestricting the generator. When you
(28:14):
surrender to the mechanics, you're more aware in your availability
for life. You watch your bodyrespond to what is for you as it
presents itself, you start totrust the body's timeline. Because
you watch how this responsebrings you to and through everything.
You need in way moresatisfying ways than if you were
to fight that natural timelineof your body offered through response
(28:38):
with the mind's timeline andinitiating, which tends to lead to
frustration the sacral center. And therefore this response mechanism
speaks in yes or no. Once as agenerator. Once you are processing
outside of yes no, you're inthe realm of the mind. So something
that happens a lot is agenerator receives information through
(29:01):
their body's primaryintelligence, which is the sacral
center. And whether thatinformation is a yes or a no if the
generator is asked to, like, speak up about it, to give an answer.
So often the generator isgoing to try to fill in all sorts
of rationale when really theonly thing they know is yes or no.
(29:23):
Because that is what thisprimary intelligence center in the.
In the defined sacral body, the sacral cent, is offering. It's
yes the energy's there forthat or no, it's not. But once the
generator is trying toarticulate, maybe to externalize
to someone else or even justto articulate to rationalize for
themselves why it was a yes orwhy it was a no or that it was a
(29:46):
yes or a no, you know, there'snot energy for it, but, ooh, does
my ego wish I could prove thatI can do this right? Or there is
energy for that, but, oh, Imight upset this person undefined
solar plexus narrative if Iactually move towards this thing.
That would feel reallysatisfying to me. So the moment that
you are processing outside ofthat, that gut yes or no, you're
(30:09):
in the mind, and the mind'sgonna be there. It's always gonna
be narrating. Butunderstanding that there is a distinction
between your body's yes andno, and then the mental narratives
that will always jump right onboard to try to rationalize that
yes or no, to talk you in orout of it or simply just make sense
of it is important. And I havehere sacral sounds. So I went earlier.
(30:32):
You'll hear people talk aboutthis, and I think some generators
really relate to it, somedon't. So much depends on the channels
that you have to your definedsacral. And I think that it also
depends on the level ofconnection you have to your defined
sacral. And everybody has thatconnection who has a defined sacral.
And the conditioning can makethe not self sound and be experienced
(30:59):
much more loudly than thatsacral yes or no. And so some of
you might immediately findthis idea of sacral sounds to resonate.
Others won't, maybe won'texperience it right away as something
that's true for you. But overtime, as you decondition and become
more in flow and in trust withthat sacral and less repressed around
it, you might find yourselfmaking these sounds. And some of
(31:21):
you, it might. It might justnot be a part of how you experience
the sacral yes or no. But whatI mean by sacral sounds is literally
like, mm, like yeah, kind ofsounds or no, right? Like mm, like
all of those sounds, thosegrunty kind of sounds, those. That's
the gut feeling that's thesacral, that punch that your gut
(31:42):
gets of, ooh, yes or no, like, that's the sacral. And sometimes
there may be sounds associatedwith that. But Ra actually talked
a lot about how human designis actually for children. That's
something that he said a lotso that parents can nurture children
into having the relationshipswith their body that allow them to
trust their definition andtrust their strategy and their authority.
(32:05):
And so I've heard frommultiple sources this idea that telling
generator kids to use theirwords can actually be kind of damaging
because it's conditioning themto skip over that gut response that
they get to get to therationalization point. And, you know,
using words is not inherentlyproblematic, but nurturing the generator
(32:29):
child's ability to reallyregister what their sacral response
is and then honoring thatresponse or lack of response in the
generator child isfoundational for their well being.
And thus skipping to the useyour words without first really honoring
that part of registering thesacral can be damaging and a deeply
(32:52):
conditioning force for thegenerator child. Wanted to say about
sacral speaking in yes or no,that if not sacral sounds right,
if not mm or mm, mm mm or mm,if not a grunt or a mmm or whatever
your sacral sound is, theremight be, or in addition to that,
there might be a sort offeeling of like your body actually
(33:13):
kind of swells up and movestowards something because the life
force is already responding.Right? It's like again, the horse
in the stall waiting for thegun to go off. The horse isn't thinking
when the gun goes off. It justgoes. And so the sacral can function
that way. An image I often getwhen I'm talking about the sacral
is like a faucet. And asacral. Yes, is like the faucet is
(33:35):
just turned on and water ispouring out. There's energy for this.
I'm responding. There's lifeforce moving through me and a no.
It's like the faucet's turnedoff. There's no water. There's no
gush. There's no water or lifeforce gushing out right now.
