Are we truly making our own choices, or are we being digitally hijacked?

In this eye-opening episode, I mind-blended with Muhammad Atique, the author of Digitally Hijacked: The Age of Influence, to discuss how social media algorithms, AI, and technology-driven marketing are subtly shaping our thoughts, decisions, and even identities.

What We Discussed:

The Evolution of Influence – From radio to television to today’s hyper-connected digital world, why is our current reality more alarming than ever?

Algorithmic Manipulation – How recommendation engines curate what we see, shaping not just our buying habits but also our beliefs and identities.

The Impact on Our Attention & Decision-Making – How information overload is rewiring our brains, reducing our focus, and altering our ability to think critically.

The Illusion of Choice – Are we really choosing what we buy, watch, and believe—or are we being subtly manipulated?

Reclaiming Control – Striking a balance between tech and real life, prioritizing deep work, and resisting FOMO-driven urgency.

“Technology should be your best servant, if you can use it in the best way.”

In a world of infinite scroll and digital distractions, how can we strike a balance and live more intentionally? Tune in for insights that might just change how you see your digital habits.
