Rebecca McKinley (00:00):
Look, I'm very fortunate that I have an
incredibly supportive husband, who probably sees the cracks in
me before I do and does take onextra load in the household when
need comes about. If I'm it'sgonna be too much for me to go

(00:23):
and pick my daughter up fromschool, for example, he'll just
finish work early and go and gether. I can't I think it's it's a
every balance in any householdis gonna be different, but I
think you need to lean on intothe resources that you've got
available to you. Sometimes itmight be your parents, your your
siblings, you know, it it doestake the old adage, it does take

(00:47):
a bit of a village to, maintainall our responsibilities, and
it's okay to accept that helpfrom people. None of us are
completely concrete solo, anchors, are able to do
everything ourselves.
I think sometimes we put thatexpectation on ourselves. It's

(01:08):
not necessarily other peopleputting that expectation on us.
Sometimes we can do everything. We feel invincible and we feel
like we can do everything, andthat's great. Lean into that
when that happens.
But when the times come that youdon't feel that, that's actually
okay. It doesn't make you lessthan. If I think it actually
makes you more than if you'reable to, recognise that in

(01:31):
yourself.
