(00:00):
Today's episode is for those whohave looked at their chart and
thought, what?
I don't get this.
This doesn't feel like me.
Or, oh, I might be doomed, or, Idon't understand how this energy
can play with that energy.
They don't seem like they shouldgo together.
Maybe you've seen a lot ofsquares or oppositions, or you

(00:20):
see a planet that doesn't looklike it belongs in a certain
sign.
If that's you, you are in theright place.
I've heard this in so manyclient sessions and I've lived
it in my own chart.
So today I want to talk to youabout what to do when your chart
feels off, and I want to giveyou a few strategies to reframe
the challenging placements sothat you can start living with
your energy and not against yourenergy.

(00:42):
So let's start here.
You are not crazy for feelingresistance to certain parts of
your chart.
Sometimes people feeldisconnected from one of their
big three.
Maybe their sun and moon makessense, but their rising sign
doesn't, or vice versa.
Sometimes it's the chart itself.
Planets in detriment or fall, luminaries that are in opposing

(01:03):
signs or multiple squares thatfeel like internal tension.
Sometimes it can even feel likemaybe you're doing astrology
wrong or that your chart issomehow a punishment.
And I want to say very clearlythat none of us are immune from
having challenges in our chart.
In fact, those challenges arefoundational.

(01:26):
They are not here to block you.
They're here to shape you.
And I'll be honest, my own bigthree have placements and signs
that are traditionallyconsidered challenging.
My Mars is not only indetriment, it is sitting on the
exact same degree as myascendant, my rising sign.
And my Moon in Capricorn is notthe coziest placement for Moon

(01:47):
Sign and my sun is in Aquariusin a way that has just kind of
felt like it creates tension formost of my life.
In fact, I spent years notfeeling comfortable in my own
skin, and there's still daysthat I feel that way.
The thing is, I thought thatthat discomfort was a flaw, but
now I know it's actually a clue.

(02:08):
And that's really the firstthing that we have to understand
when we see these challengingthings in our chart, we have to
one, acknowledge that they'rechallenges, right?
Squares are challenging.
Oppositions are challenging.
Planets in detriment or fall arechallenging.
Having your sun and your moon inopposing signs or having them
in, um, other placements can bechallenging as well.

(02:31):
We have to acknowledge thechallenges in our chart for what
they are before we can begin toreframe them.
But once we do acknowledge them, then we get to move to that next
step, which is reframing, andthat's where the real work and
the real magic comes in.
So let's come back to my Marsplacement.
Mars is the planet of action andit is on the exact same degree

(02:55):
as my ascendant, which meansthat the way I show up in the
world is very, very Mars like.
I'm always moving.
I am wired for initiation, butMars and my ascendant are in
Libra, which is a sign thatMars, it's considered in
detriment in Libra.
Mars is not happy or comfortablein Libra.
Libra is about peace, harmony, other people.

(03:18):
Mars is about doing and chargingand asserting, and you can
probably imagine that tensionthat I have felt.
It's a push and pull betweenaction and consideration between
go now and"wait, how is thisgonna be received?" Between
instinct and diplomacy, andhere's where it gets really
beautifully weird.

(03:39):
My first name is Kelly, whichmeans warrior.
My middle name Irene meanspeace.
I literally am the contradictionof Mars in Libra, and that is my
rising sign, the exact samedegree.
So this reframe for me became"I'm not at war with myself."

(04:00):
That was a huge reframe.
I am here to be the warrior ofpeace, someone who leads with
courage and grace, who takesaction, but makes space for
beauty and balance in how thataction lands.
And that did not come overnight.
That reframe took me years toland, and I still have to

(04:20):
reframe that.
But once I did begin to do that, everything shifted.
What felt like a cosmic flawstarted to feel like a sacred
assignment.
It gave me huge clues into mypurpose and my power.
So let me give you a couple ofclient examples too.
Somebody with a strong Piscesplacement might feel ungrounded

(04:44):
or chaotic in a world thatdemands boundaries and labels
and form.
But when you lean into Pisces'kind of natural spiritual
connection and intuitive genius, that's when you realize you're
here to make magic out of theformless.
I have a client who has, um,she's a graphic designer and she

(05:07):
has really strong Pisces andGemini energy, and she's able to
translate those really abstractideas into visuals that make
people feel something.
That is a gift.
Um, another client that I havehas multiple squares, and
squares are tough, but they canalso be a call to integration.
So, for example, if you haveVenus Square, Jupiter, that

(05:30):
might create this push and pullbetween pleasure and abundance,
where it feels like there justhas to be an over, um,
overindulgence can be part ofthat.
But when you start to lean intoboth desires being valid and
create a life where expansiondoesn't have to require
overindulgence, just intention, that's where that square can

(05:52):
become a superpower by beingintentional about having places
for abundance and expansion andpleasure in harmony with one
another.
The thing is, your chart's notworking against you, but it
might be asking you to work withit in a way that you haven't
been taught to yet.
And the last piece of this iswhere that integration happens,

(06:14):
and that's, you have to practicethe reframe in real life.
So I recommend starting with oneplacement that has felt
uncomfortable or confusing oreven painful.
It might be a sun sign thatdoesn't feel quite like you, a
moon sign where you really don'tunderstand what that says about
your internal life or youremotional needs.

(06:38):
A planet that's in detriment anopposition that's been pulling
you in two different directions.
Start there with one.
Acknowledge what's hard aboutit.
Don't skip that, and then lookat what else is possible.
Mars is contentious, but it'salso courageous.
Chiron indicates wounding andalso healing.

(07:00):
Oppositions are tension, butalso balance waiting to happen.
Squares are friction, but alsocrossroads, where you get to
choose your integration path.
So ask yourself, how do I livefrom this new lens?
As I've shared, that looks forme, like reminding myself that

(07:22):
I'm a warrior of peace.
I don't have to choose betweenaction and rest.
There's room for both.
For somebody else, it might be,I'm not too dreamy.
I design, I'm designed to createbeauty from an intuitive space.
Or my Leo brightness does notmake me too much.

(07:43):
It makes me magnetic.
I love to think about the Leofire as a campfire that draws
other people in.
Your reframe is yours to find, and once you find it, practice
it.
That's how you move fromknowledge to alignment and
integration.
So I want to hear from youbecause this is a really
challenging one.

(08:05):
What is the placement that hasfelt the most challenging in
your chart, and how can youstart to see it differently?
If this episode sparks somethingwithin you, send me a message or
email me.
I read every message that comesmy way.
hello@mosttrueyou.com is theemail that I use.
Or find me on Instagram and, um,send me a DM at Most True You

(08:27):
I'm not great at posting onthere, but I do read the
messages if you want to godeeper, if you want somebody to
help you untangle the resistanceand help you to see the wisdom
in your chart, I would behonored to do that with you.
I will leave a link in the shownotes along with the email
address to book a chart reading.
That's always an option.

(08:47):
But this is something that Ihope you will begin to see that
even those challenging spaces inyour chart can actually be
places where you are called tolive in deeper alignment with
those places in your chart.
So until next time, remember, your discomfort might not be a
flaw.
It might be the invitation tomore deeply aligned living.
