James Pike On July 15, 2006, driving through the night from Santa Barbara, California to Portland, Oregon with my former girlfriend from Alaska, we encountered something extraordinary. At 3:08 AM near Crow’s Landing in California’s Central Valley, a horseshoe-shaped UFO appeared. This sighting was preluded by a psychic flash I experienced a week or two earlier while discussing night driving with my stepfather, an eccentric accountant and tax attorney. He mentioned that most industrial accidents occur between two and three in the morning.
