These cases differ from your average nuts and bolts UFO cases. Often, the experiencer is left confused and horrified. Even in cases of benevolent contact, an experiencer’s view of reality is suddenly and dramatically changed, causing that person to feel untethered from everything they once held true.
They often suffer from a very distinct form of PTSD called Ontological Shock.
